Lowes is literally my favorite and I think this Lowes is THE BEST there is. The garden center is just absolutely fabulous! It truly is the biggest garden center Ive ever seen and the employees keep Everything completely stocked and picture PERFECT. The flowers and outdoor furniture section- second to NONE. The Home Depot doesnt even compare when you factor in PRICE- not to mention Lowes is now offering 90 days/no payment.. Lowes is impossible to beat!!

Lyle (Douglas) at Lowes Port Charlotte Fl. was amazing! He is knowledgeable about his department Milwork Doors & Windows. He answered all my questions. He returned my call when he said he would. Lowes is very lucky to have him as a staff on their team. I now feel I should check Lowes out for all my home projects First, before going any where else. Thank You Lyle! :)

Went into Lowe’s with my significant other. No one to assist at the paint counter. We heard the announcement made over the intercom several times. We also asked someone at the customer service.One of us stayed at the paint counter while the other shopped for other items. Passed by at least 5 employees, not one person acknowledged us, not one to say hello or if they could help. I went to the Lowe’s website to try to just locate the item I needed, ac filters. Website said aisle 16. That was not the right aisle. I saw an employee with his face down in his cell phone and asked if he could tell me where to find AC filters, he told me aisle 35 and how to get there. I appreciated that, but my spouse called and said he was still waiting for someone to come assist in paint and we ended up just walking out.I know times are hard, but I’ve had similar experiences at this Lowe’s.Went to HOME DEPOT, two people were at the paint counter and not exaggerating, but I was spoken to by at least five employees. Everyone was smiling and offered their assistance.Lowe’s needs to train their people to acknowledge their customers and offer help.

Don’t go here in the evening!!!! The employees are all really grumpy after 6 pm!!!! Don’t dare ask them to do their job like helping you find anything or get a tool out that is locked up!!!! Its too close to the end of the day by 6 pm. Best to go in the morning but not on Sunday morning that’s extra grumpy day!!!!! Good luck.

Love my Lowes and Rhonda at the Port Charlotte branch is excellent. She even remembered us on a return trip and again when my husband went a few days ago. Keep her. Keep up the military discount as well.

Two starts only because of excellent customer service. One star for delivery of large items. We paid over $1400 for a specialty Kohler bathtub only to have it delivered with a chunk out of the corner. The box was dinged, which was a clue that the warehouse likely dropped it or handled it using little to no care. Zero stars also to Kohler for putting a measly 1/2 of Styrofoam on the corners of a large, expensive item. Also zero stars for not having a replacement available for another 6 to 7 MONTHS.

I Went to Lowes on this day of the 4 th.of July plus being on a Sunday and add to the fact of the hurricane warning -needless to say just how busy the store was,But I was totally amazed how Super efficiently a manager named Adam in a very professional manner and solved what I considered a nightmare, of a problem -but I want to say Adam orchestrated in contacting a few persons in the store and spent quite a bit of time in resolving my problem.I want to say as the old adage goes Adam really went that that extra mileAgain -kudos to Adam and the wonderful store workers that chipped in to help.This Is The Very Reason That I Have Been Coming To Lowes For The Last 12 Years That I Have Been Living In Florida.Ray Romeo.he fact of the hurricane -

Went to the Port Charlotte Lowes and I was very disappointed in the workers. I had some problems finding a plumbing part and did not see any workers so I hit the Need help button and no one showed up. Luckily I found what I was looking for by looking up the part and location of the part on Lowes website. Next time I think Ill be going to Ace hardware and theyre closer too.

If you cant find what you need for your current project, youll find plenty of ideas for something in the future.Stopped in to see about some shutters for the house. Not a bad deal for cheap plastic, but they dont come in white...Lots of friendly help, the guy at the pro desk helped me order that kids picnic table the wife has been eyeing for a while now. He even got it delivered to the house! Im happy.

Horrendous service! Waited 30 min in the paint section after pressing the button for help.Asked service desk for help they called someone but no one came. Several employees on their phones in aisles and standing talking to each other. Went to Home Depot down the street and literally the FIRST employee I see asks us if we need assistance. That continued for the rest of the time.

Bought perennials at Lowes because of its refund policy that if the plant dies within a year they will refund the price. Now Lowes expect you to return it to the specific store you bought it from. Whats that a about? I thought Lowes was just Lowes. Didnt have that problem with Walmart and that was shocking.

Quite a refreshing experience today at Lowe’s in Port Charlotte. We stopped in at Carpet department, and spoke with Micheal Tuthill. He was very knowledgeable about the different carpets, materials, padding. I can’t tell you how many times we hit up Lowe’s or Home Depot and the folks working there have no knowledge of the department they are working in or most tools, so this was refreshing to be able to ask questions and get very knowledgeable feedback which in turn helped us make our decision on which carpet to buy.

I went to go look for freezers for my house. After finding out there were non there available to look at. I was directed to look online for the freezers. I was also informed that shopping would be about an additional $70. After seeing the cost for the freezers online plus shipping. I found it to be cheaper and faster to buy it from Amazon. Lowes you lost a sale. I probably would have paid more to have it now. But since I was going to have to wait anyways it opened the door for competition. Im glad it happened I saved a lot of money. I ended up getting a larger 6.5 cubic foot upright freezer for $40 less than your 5.8 cubic foot upright freezer

Lowes SAID IT is celebrating by giving away free garden-to-go project kits. And Trees for EARTH DAY. I registered as suggested, got there yesterday EARTH DAY. And was turned away because the Customer Service Person was tired and did not want to be kind and helpful. She asked me my name and said it was not on the list. What you have to bring documentation? So the only thing I can do is leave the cart with all my plants and trees and leave the store and NEVER GO BACK. Too bad it was at least a $450.00 sale. And it sad for me because I spent the time choosing all the right plants I needed. I will now do business with Home Depot from now on.

Sometimes difficult to find sales staff, but when you do, they are very helpful. They do have a great selection of merchandise!

Love this store. Very clean and organized. Employees are helpful and friendly. Prices are competitive with HD. They would match price with other big box stores. Best of all, unlike HD, they give 10% discount across the board to the VETERANS including sale merchandises. They even have a special Memorial Day display to honor all fallen heroes. How cool and thoughtful is that?Would definitely shop here again.

I have always preferred Lowes to the other place. I am doing a 20 k kitchen cabinet job. Could not get ahold of anyone to call me from the cabinet department.One phone call to HD and had a design appointment set up at my convenience.

I found what what I was looking for but Im really appalled that I spent my life as a law enforcement officer and my brother spent his life as a fire fighter and neither one of us ever get credit for that service. I understand what our military men and woman do for this country but they all too understand what we do as we are here at home for them . When are we ever going to get credit for what we do for this country and our community?

Was researching washer and dryers for a condo. They did not stock what I was looking for.

Went in to buy a new washer. Needed it asap as ours quit on us. I had an ideal of which one I wanted and knew it wasnt in stock at this store(Port Charlotte) but was in-stock at the Cape Corral store. The sales people were extremely helpful and the purchase went smoothly. Our salesman advised that we would probably get it the next day and someone would call us later in the evening. Did not receive a call to set up delivery. Next day went to an appointment and while there delivery person called and said he was at my house. He actually seed mad that we were not home.

Youre return policy is a joke! Have recipes and products un used and wont refund to my credit card because its been over 90 days, but take it back with store credit. What a joke spent 63k dollars there this year building a house (yes I am a pro.and have a pro account) . Just goes to show you where theyre loyalty is. HOME DEPOT FOR THE NEXT ONE

Absolutely the longest wait to return two items that I have ever experienced. The workers seemed confused, improperly trained and not competent. I waited in the return line for 20 minutes.

Usually really good service, but it took forever to get just 2 plastic chairs. We had to go outside twice to take pictures of the chairs for them to check us out.

Still the worst company in the world for picking up supplies that are promised to be ready but never are. This is why out company does not shop here. Customers order things and they say it will be ready for pickup. Buy never is. Totally hasnt changed at all.

Bought kitchen cabinets here and was charged for a cabinet they didnt have in the store, simple mistake that I understand. Went to get a refund before even leaving store with the cabinets and it took an hour for them to refund. The lady walked to the other side of the store and we found her sitting there drinking, looked like she was taking a break in the middle of our refund. Another associate helped us out and got our money back within a minute.We also ended up getting 1 wrong cabinet size and when my son in law went to exchange it for the right size, which was $1 difference, he was told he had to return the wrong sized cabinet and then purchase the new. He comes back to me and informs me of the situation after, while bringing the right size cabinet back to me. I call Lowes expecting to confirm that its a 7-10 business day wait for it to go back on my card now. So I ask customer service and they confirm that I have to wait up to 2 weeks (while Im not working due to Corona and on fixed income) to have $100 returned on my card instead of them allowing him to pay the $1 difference for an exchange. When I asked why he couldnt have just paid the $1 difference, she responded with, I dont know I didnt do the transaction. I asked to speak to a manager and finally got Rob after about 25 mins of holding while other managers werent answering to which he informs me that they dont do exchanges and there nothing he can do for me and also didnt seem concerned that it took an hour to receive a refund from the original purchase or that the employee seemingly took a break in the middle of assisting us. So I called corporate who says theyve never heard of such a thing but unfortunately they cant do anything for me either as this Lowes in Port Charlotte has already put the refund through to the banks. I love Lowes and products.... Horrible customer service

Bought some supplies from my house Home Depot. I went into Lowes first, and nobody was there to help. in fact an old 90 year old man was loading his own lumber in the back. Before I left I went up there & told the cashier exactly what I thought of that practice, disgraceful! Everyone of the employees were standing around talking. I left empty handed. I went into Home Depot and there were many employees around plenty of them willing to help, even 2 at once, so I left with my purchase happy. Do not shop at Lowes it is a disgusting store with lousy customer service! I wont shop at Lowes unless I absolutely have to. Im assuming theyre going to be out of business pretty soon..

Service was good. Employees were very knowledgeable, but there did not seem to be enough employees. They were all very busy and we had quite a wait until we were able to get assistance.

The tool department clerk was very helpful in assisting me with the saw I was there to purchase. On top of that, the deal I got on the saw (and the free gift table) was unbeatable!

I recently had an experience at Lowes that was very good and very helpful. I was helping an elderly client straighten out an issue concerning the prior purchase of a dryer from Lowes. The first dryer she ordered arrived and was too big for the space she had available for her dryer. She spoke to the store Mgr., Rick and he recommended a different dryer that was smaller and would fit into the space for her dryer. The smaller one cost about $20 more, but Rick said he would give it to her for the price of the first dryer that was too big. When her bill came, somehow both of the dryers were on it. So, I called the 800 # and they removed the price of the first dryer. Then I called the local store in Port Charlotte, where Rick works, because the dryers price reduction was not reflected on the bill (of the approx. $20 difference) and I ended up speaking with a Mgr. named Yadira. I spoke with her a couple different occasions and she was very, very helpful. She said I could come into the store and she would take care of the $ difference. So I did come into the store and she took care of the difference and helped straighten out this situation for my elderly client.

Terrible.....bought a grill..you must wait in this line.....15 minutes later....no go talk to that person........#1 they had no propane tanks for sale...out of stock......we said before buying the sides had to come off of grill to get it in SUV...no problem....20 minutes later they are still trying to get screws out....but get this...Lowes had no power tools to take out screws that were put in by power tools....ended up getting one in a box....now I have to put it together...thanks Lowes.
