This service is amazing.I was given the pick up service as a birthday gift and it works out great. My laundry is picked up washed and returned every week with never an issue. I would suggest this for anyone with a busy life. Communication is always spot on. Highly recommend!

Many machines are out of order (25% of dryers and 29% of washers). And, some of those that will take your money do not work correctly. Two washers we did use had defective spin cycles that left the clothes saturated while two dryers out of the seven we used did not heat. I will stick to the facts and not vent.

Greetings.. i have been going to this laundry mat when it 1st open up.by the old owner. (many years ago). i have spent a lot of money washing my clothes there. i work long and crazy hours. i can only wash my clothes between 11am and 3am. every time i go to wash my clothes there is always a homeless woman begging me for things.. tonight she beg me for a ride. which i didnt do. then ask me to use my phone. last week i was putting my clothes in the washer and the same woman took my laundry detergent without asking. and pour some on her hands then went to the bathroom.. it has really gone down hall..

Small place. Lots of machines were out of ordered. Attendant was friendly and helpful. Need coins for machines. Dollar bill changer available. Wash and fold services offered. I used the double load machine and it cost $3.00. Dryers are .25 for 6 minutes.

Absolutely my favorite place to do laundry. The staff is extremely helpful. Id probably still be wearing my dirty underwear from a week ago if it wasnt for ship n shore laundry. :)))

Place was dirty half the washers are broke down cloth sitting in washers unattended. Had to use larger more expensive washers so I could do 2 loads. Wont come here again

Seems like every time we go here most of the larger washers are out of service. Just tried again and only a medium one was in working order. Wish we had a better option closer by.

Old and dirty. Exposed plumbing, celing tiles falling, holes in the walls. Counted over a dozen machines out of order. Seats are torn and gross, Cmon is this the best you can do????

*owner* i see a lot of polite responses posted; but ive been to your establishment no less than eight times and either ive never seen you or youve never introduced yourself; either way your response missed the mark by a long shot>all of my clothes were rolled, not just the socks- the socks were mis-matched (honestly about 50%)>shirts rolled inside out? when i say rolled it may have been an attempt at folding, but a very poor attempt, so it looks like they just rolled it up>i asked who did my laundry- it was not a her as you indicate in your response, rather a young man- i wont name him here- but how as the owner do you not know that?>finally, i dont want my laundry done for free- i just want what i pay for- im not coming back, there are other optionspositives:courteous staffnegatives:i received my clothes rolled for the most part, not folded> if they went into the hamper inside out, they were rolled up inside out> less than half the socks paired matched up> most of the shirts were just as wrinkled after the wash as they were going into the wash.i do not do my own laundry- i only use wash&fold services and i travel often. unfortunately this is one of the worst establishments in terms of condition of what i received back.I will try it one more time- there is another establishment in the other direction about the same distance so if it doesnt work out- lesson for the owner if interested....they sell a folding board- you can teach your staff how to use it> oh an when you post drop off hours online 9-6 and i drive all the way there to see a hand written sign taped to the metal door saying wash&fold doesnt open till 10am thats frustrating too- i see you posting responses to the reviews online- how bout updating the hours?? wasted a trip no thanks

This place is dirty, and no soap in the bathroom. Seriously? Pretty sure its illegal not to have soap inside a public bathroom. Gross.

I have six kids and we were down a washing machine, things got intense. The owner himself came to my house, took all 20 bags of laundry, had it back later the same day AND even found my daughters softball socks in all the madness when she freaked and needed to go get them before the rest of the laundry was done.I was so impressed with the customer service & finished product!

Some inoperable machines. Place is a bit worn but gets the job done and area seemed safe enough while I was there. Coin only, stop at ATM first.

Awful place. Most washers are put of order. One dryer never got hot and wasted my money. No one there to get a refund. I use a lot of laundry mats because we RV travel and this place is awful and the washers stink.

I dropped off my comforters on Monday and my daughter picked it up Tuesday. Wonderful job! The owner was very attentive and helpful and your greeted at the door. I left with a smile and feeling great. It had been 5 yrs since Id been there (different owners) and its improved a lot! Im sorry I didnt get his name. Our washing machine died... the repairman declared last rites. We are shopping for a new machine with laundry piling up. I called Ship N Shore and was able to have our laundry picked up, cleaned, and turned around in 24 hours. Thank you Jacob - you are the best!!

Washers did not work the place needs a good tune up

Wonderful service if you take your clothes there for them to wash for you! When my dryer died and I needed my uniforms done within an 8 hour period, they did it within 4 hours. Well kept. Very clean. Highly recommended for dropping off clothes or if you do it yourself. They give discounts to those in uniform.

I had a fantastic experience! The drop off service exceeded my expectations— will definitely be a returning customer. The young man who newly owns the place is doing an amazing job at making this place nice again. He just installed two brand new machines! Highly recommend— 5 stars!!!

I visited for the first time today; I had too much to carry in at once. The owner, Jacob, came out and offered to help. He was friendly, thoughtful, and helped me with a couple questions about the machines and once when a quarter jammed. I learned that they also have a pick up and next day drop off service for doing laundry for customers. Great experience; highly recommend!

First time here nice it a 24/7 got my big blanket washed and a second one for 4.50 and about buck and a quarter to dry them they run for 6 minutes each quarter I thought it was longer but still not too bad

Ship N Shore Laundry in my experience is the best laundromat in the Port Charlotte / Punta Gorda area. Real easy going atmosphere with an extremely helpful staff and the owner Jake is top notch. Always leaving this place with a laugh. Double thumbs up!

This is a laundromat. WASH your clothes..DRY your clothes.....FOLD your clothes.. They charge 1.25 for a can of soda out of a very ugly machine.. Just call me I got the soda for 75 cent... I gotchew.

Great staff and good equipment. The young guy who works here is always busting his hump to keep the place clean. Lets face it folks laundry sucks but this kid as a great attitude toward his job.

This is a nice little laundry mat. Its clean as laundry mats go, there is plenty of seating, a scale for weighing your laundry, multiple t.v.s, lots of folding tables, and the Ollies store is right next door. The one thing this laundry mat lacks is open bathrooms while the folding crew is gone and a sink.Another fun fact is if your there at night by yourself you will hear stuff moving around and banging. Im not a real big ghost guy but at this place it is hard to deny something weird is happening. Its not just a couple bumps its a bunch. Check it out.Great laundry mat to go to at night if you want to not be around a bunch of people.

I have been going here for a long time to wash clothes when I didnt have a washer/dryer. Now I go there for blankets and comforters since my washer is too small. I have seen 3 different owners and they all have been great and took pride in their business. Its clean and the staff there are awesome!Im adding to my review after reading Scott Hayes review. My daughter and I were there late one night and nobody else was there. Suddenly the bathroom door opened. We walked over to it and of course nobody was there. We were kind of freaked out but also fascinated that a laundromat could be haunted We stopped going there at night. LOL

This is located in Schoolhouse Square. NOT Sunnydell plazaI met the owner when we were there and he is a very nice man. However the place needs a major refresh. The machines that were working worked well. The lady attendant on duty was responsive and helpful.This was the first time I needed a laundry mat in a long while. I will look for a different one next time.

Incredibly clean! Someone is always sweeping or cleaning the dryer vents or wiping down the washers. Easy parking and you can unload at the curb, then move your car. Also has drop off service if you are pressed for time.

Thought it was dirty. Water all over the floor. A lot of the machines were broken. The parking area was not very well lit.

We were on vacation and needed a quick laundry stop. The attendant was polite and nice. The customers were also friendly and nice. The place was decent and machines we used were working without any issues.
