My 1st experience with renting furniture, we purchased new furniture and have a few weeks before its delivered. I gave to say this was a spontaneous moment where I seen Buddys and thought I would check it out 3 hours later I have the cutest sofa to sit on until my furniture arrives, they were very professional and polite. I cant say enough about my pleasant experience here.

We ordered a bedroom set which was supposed to be delivered between 2-4. At 3:45 very nice person Ann called and said delayed til 4:30. By almost 6:30 no delivery so had to call them since hadnt heard. The guy who answered (Ty) said he didnt like my husbands tone of voice, understandably frustrated but he was still polite and just asked if we were going to get delivery that night. Then he said he was cancelling our order! What a way to do business. And we waited over 5 hours. So now off to Venice to do business with other furniture rental place. Meanwhile trying to get credit to my credit card they charged and after 2 weeks and 4 calls, still no credit shown. I feel like im getting the runaround from Ty. He promises but doesnt deliver. Too many excuses. Ive never had such an experience as this one. I finally had to call the manager several times who said they didnt know how to credit my Discover account (really?!) and could i stop by and pick up the cash refund. I did stop by in several days and they said the account had been credited but i did not receive a call to that effect so wasted my time and effort to come into store when i didnt need to.Not very good customer service at all.

Ann is great and always responsive and quick to help. Unfortunately the manufacturer the store uses is not very quick on delivery it can take up to 3 weeks. Other than that, great staff, friendly, and helpful.

Came in to Buddys tonight around 5:40 looking for a 32 TV. I also purchased a 55 TV as well. Signed all of the paperwork and paid my down payment. We were told we could leave with only the 32 TV. Anyone would be confused at this point so we asked why?...... Tyrone Simpson the General Manager comes in with an attitude and says in a rude manner that he is doing us a favor by letting us have one TV but not the other. I ask about them pro rating what we just paid since we arent getting the TV for a few days and we were told no. Obviously we are confused and a little upset at this point.Tyrone decides because he doesnt like our Character he is going to terminate my contract and refund my money even though I kept telling him that is not what I want. Obviously Tyrone needs to learn about discrimination and civil rights. Will be looking into more action.

We needed to rent a fridge while the parts to repair ours were ordered. The personnel here made the rental of a temporary fridge such a pleasant experience from inception to conclusion! Very professional and prompt! Thank you again!

I want to say after a small issue Dan really took care of me. He was totally awesome. It has been a pleasure dealing with him.

I have now purchased a third set from this company here in port charlotte all I can say is they are just amazing great group of people Jared is always very attentive along side his manager Dan the two of them actually Accommodated-me and delivered my furnishings the same day with no questions asked just yes sure we willAnn is very sweet and has some highly saught after customers service skillsBuddy’s corporation is very lucky to have these three employees on the payrollI will be spending more money at this store with these people in the very near futureThank you Brittany

Recently got a bed from there and let’s just say i love it customer service was great Ann helped me pick out a bed and she’s always calling when new things arrive in. Highly satisfied

Horrible and shady business practices. I picked out the best best pillow top bed in the store. I thought I was buying a new bed...not one that God knows who has done God knows what on. Neither the salesman OR the delivery men bothered to inform me that the bed was used. Luckily, i read the fine print...and saw first hand how they operate. Will never darken that doorstep again smh...

Amazing people! Ty the manager is awesome You can tell he wants to help people, Great price things and they help you out with affordable weekly payments I definitely rate them a 5!!!

Told us one price then tried to up it on us by almost double and the product didnt even work that great. then they said they would come get it and we wouldnt owe them anything cause we were all caught up on payments i called the next day and they said before they come get it we got pay a 77 dollar fee totally tried to play us!!!

Everything we got was Brand new and they are amazing I dont know where yall go but we got all brand new stuff

I rented a recliner for 6 weeks to sleep in after shoulder surgery. I paid for the 6 weeks in advance but it was a week to week rental. I didnt need it after the first week and returned it but they wouldnt refund the unused amount. The guy (Chris) said he had no way to do a refund. What kind of legitimate business cant do a refund?Ill never do business with them again.

Poor communication by Jared. Thought we were buying new living room tables & lamps, but turned out to be pre-leased.And, God forbid you fall on hard times & want out of your contract. You’ll be bullied by Chris into keeping the furniture & continuing to make payments with money you don’t have.
