Every haircut is excellent. They all do excellent job no matter who cuts my hair.

All of the barbers are very nice and remember their customers. They are personal and make sure to get the job done! My fiancé comes here and only here because of the great service. Even if there is a wait, they are fast!

So I stopped in here just to get a trim. I have really long hair and I dont get anything fancy done to it. Just a straight cut to take the dead ends off. I have been looking for a barber for about a year now since the one Ive went to since I was a kid retired. I ask the man that was there if he could do it. He said he doesnt cut ladies hair. Then the lady Maria said if all I want is a trim shed do it. It only took a couple minutes to do. She was really nice. Ill be going back to see her again. I hate going to beauty shop/ salon they always want to do more then what I need or want

I found this barber through Facebook marketplace. If youre after a quality cut for far less than similar barbers in the area, I recommend Ladds. The decor inside gives a rustic, yet home-y feel. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful with ideas on styles. During this pandemic the staff does wear masks. I was really impressed with how Maria cut around my mask straps, and could remove them from my ear to get a closer shave, all while keeping my face covered.

Despite the minimal price, the haircut was average quality and even the hot shave was diminished by the disagreeable political views espoused by the barber. I recognize that we all have the right to free speech, but I dont want to pay to listen to views that seem to be informed by disproven conspiracy theories.

Being a 10+ year military vet, I know how hard it is to find a place where you can get a good haircut. I visited many places in a 5 year time frame in the Port Charlotte area and came up empty until I found Ladds. Friendly caring staff, great with my son. Never a disappointment. If theres a bit of a wait, thats just because others are finding out how good they are as well, so relax and enjoy a glass of wine, compliments of the house of course.

Ill give em 5 Stars! I have been coming to Ladds Barber Shop for years. Its the best barbershop in Port Charlotte. Maria is very pleasurable to deal with.After I moved a little father away about 2 years ago I tried a few different barber shops a little closer to home in North Port. None of them worked out well. After a few months I was right back at Ladds. I make the extra few minutes drive. Its well worth it.Very friendly and the place is always clean. Maria has always done a great job on my hair.

Even though the reopening of barber shops has no mandate for customers to wear masks, Ladds is requiring it. I do not want to wear a mask and I am not going to do so. So, I guess I will not be returning to Ladds. Seriously, people, a virus that has a death rate of .006%? Whats next, proof I had the vaccine?

Great local barber shop been there for years! David is an excellent barber, he did a perfect low fade not the high and tight Im usually given at other places. He asked how I wanted my haircut and gave me exactly that. They also use a straight razor to clean up the neck line. Quick fast quality service!

Great experience! My sons other barber cancelled last minute and he was so upset. He was so excited to get his hair cut after he picked his own style. So, I found Ladds online, took a chance. Maria took him in right away, gave him the exact hair cut he asked for, and we were out in 15 minutes. My boy had the biggest smile. Maria was friendly and professional. She will be our new barber.

Loved it. Im retired Army, and Maria gave me a great hi n tight. She even has a vacuum attached to her clippers so you dont get hair on you. Ive only seen that on base.
