I am not one to write reviews on places, but in this case I have to. If I could give zero stars, I would. I recently used a rental car from Enterprise in Poplar Bluff. Upon receiving my vehicle, all I am given are the keys while the gentlemen who helped me walked out to the vehicle with me and asked me if I had any questions and then I was on my way. I brought the vehicle back today and had no issues with it. Once I had returned the vehicle, the same gentleman went out and looked at the vehicle and told me that a place under the car was hanging down, which I hadnt noticed upon bringing the vehicle back because I had just been driving the vehicle normally with no issues. He then proceeded to say he would have to speak to his manager, but it should be an easy fix. 2 hours later, I received a call being told that I am being charged $500 for the undercarriage being torn up on the vehicle and that a file was already claimed before they had even spoke with me about the situation. That right from the start is bad business. The gentleman did not show me the undercarriage before I got into the vehicle even though he claims he did, so who is to say that the issue wasnt already there before I received it? Their so called policies are ridiculous and it is just a horrible business all around. Not to mention that the issue is only around a $50-$70 fix, so I am not even sure how they got the number $500. I am always one to own up to my mistakes, but in this case I am not going to because they are in the wrong. Please do not rent vehicles from this place. Its not worth the stress.

I was told I am on the Do not rent list at Popular Bluff Mo.after they already confirmed my rental at the branch. I called customer care they ran my license and confirmed I wasnt on there. I had to drive all the way to St.Louis Mo. to get a rental due to the shortage of cars. I have reached out to the area manager who never calls back. I am very upset with how the branch manager keeps getting away with this .

Tiffany along with her staff at this Enterprise location went above and beyond to help us get what would work for us during a fender bender that happen in Dexter. I could not say enough good things her and her dedication to help and make it happen. They were wonderful! BRAVO!

I was in a horrible wreck, my insurance called and got my rental. When I got there the lady told me I had to get their insurance also to cover the car. They hit my card 3 times. My agent asked why was they charging me? Apparently my insurance covers their car completely and they knew it because they sent a copy of my coverage to them when they set up my reservation. She flat out lied. My insurance company said this isnt the first time they have taken advantage of a bad situation. Should have known when she stated it was the only car they had, it is completely dirty and gross, ever heard of covid Enterprise, white paint spots all over inside, smells like cigarettes and pot. She then states oh gosh its on Empty, you can just bring it back on empty. I will never use them again. I would have given no stars but that isnt possible.

I had to be picked up for this rental. I was picked up by a wonderful young woman (I know I wont spell her name correctly) but her name starts with a T. Very kind. Very friendly. You are blessed to have this woman working for you. She is a keeper!! Great job! I very much appreciate your professionalism and kindness. Rented a VW Jetta. Great gas mileage. Super happy.

Wow! They were super busy...didnt have the vehicle I requested. I knew I shouldve went to the Farmington enterprise instead of pb! Its an excuse there everytime Ive rented from there. The young lady was ok. She just was super stressed.Man got close to home only to find the stereo volume is messed up! It all of a sudden blares or theres no volume at all!

I honestly do not know why a reservation is needed. When you show up the car is never ready. I made the reservation on a Thursday to pick up on Monday morning so it wasn’t like they didn’t know it was needed. It is so frustrating especially when I needed to be on the road to get where I was going In time.

Terrible customer service and for 2 days they haven’t had anything on the lot besides An SUV and they refused to at least work with us on a discount for it due to it being the only vehicle available .. if you live in poplar bluff it would still be worth driving to Farmington to rent vehicles there instead of this dumpster fire of a business ..

There is this lady named Tiffany and she is so nice i loved her service. They had a car all ready for when we made it to the lot there where some difficulty but not with the service. I enjoyed all the Heys and Hellos they where all nice.

Ordered a car a month in advance and was called while I was on a plane from Alaska to confirm my reservation. Didnt know and so they gave the car to someone else. On top of that, from listening to the attendant on the phone, they had a lot of people extend their rentals, had a list of people who were supposed to receive a car that hadnt and a guy on the phone who was supposed to be picked up and they had to put him on call when available list. They said they didnt know if I still wanted the car and that they didnt know that I was on a plane even though they confirmed my address after saying that which means they knew I was from Alaska. On top of that, they didnt tell me that I needed a credit card until they tried to call me, one time. I remember when I walked in, before talking to anyone, I thought to myself, I wouldnt want to work in a place like this. They carpets werent vaccumed, there were flies, I saw a gluetrap under the hand sanitizer, and while the other polite employee had a mask over her mouth, her rude manager did not.

The staff at this office never fails to make me feel like Im the only customer they have at the moment. They go out of their way to accommodate me and meet my needs for transportation. They are friendly, outgoing and eager to serve. As I wait my turn, I see them treat other customers the same way.

Called Friday to make a reservation for Monday. I had my reservation number and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. I needed to take my vehicle to the body shop so I would be without a vehicle for a couple days. Monday rolls around and I call to confirm my reservation and ask when I could pick up (even though they said they could come pick me up.) I spoke with a girl who was very rude on the phone. She said she couldn’t find my reservation. I repeated my reservation number and she finally found it. She then proceeded to tell me she doesn’t have a vehicle for me. Even though I called and made a reservation, they knew the situation, told me I was taken care of, THE DAY OF they decide to tell me after I called them that they were under carred and under staffed? Then she told me about how many people were waiting for a car that she hasn’t even called yet. Seriously? Customer service and professionalism here is a joke.

Tiffany is a Godsend. She got me back home before I needed to be at work (on the week of Thanksgiving). I have never experienced more kind and understanding customer service in my life. Any time I come back home I will be visiting this Enterprise and speaking to Tiffany. She understood the rules for military licenses and made sure to get me home in time to report to base. She’s incredible.

I have been renting from Enterprise for over a year now as we travel state to state and have had wonderful experiences Except for this office. I have no major credit card and have always paid with my debit card for the service. This office will not except a debit card. Says its against policy because I dont live in this state. I would not ever recommend this office for anyone

Very bad and sad service. Went to rent a car and waited outside for 15 min. No one in the building. Finally got in and asked to rent a car. The reply was, do you have a credit card? Is your name on the card? Well I rent vehicles all the time for travel, so yes I have a corporate card & yes, my name is on the card. Well we cant rent any of these cars here in the lot, they all need oil changes. All 8 of them. I could rent you that red one. Its ready but it has a flat. I offered to change the flat. No. We cant put the doughnut tire on there. We are waiting on Raben tire. Very rude also. The lady in the back office, very rude also. Get the oil changed.

I was visiting from out of state and arrived four minutes after they had closed on a holiday weekend. Myesha Prater, management assistant, unlocked the door and let me in and completed my return so that I did not get charged a weekend fee. What a great blessing it was as I didn’t know the hours were shortened on Saturday’s. I would recommend! Thanks again for the great customer service for an out of town customer.

Having to get a rental car when your car is in the shop due to no fault of your own is very inconvenient and doesnt usually equate to a good time. However, I must say the customer service I received at your Poplar Bluff site was second to none!! The ladies there were knowledgeable, friendly, timely, and just made the whole experience as smooth and easy as I imagine anyone could. Myesha was fabulous and her upbeat bubbly personality made my experience almost worth having to do with out my own vehicle. Shes a keeper for sure!!!

The local Poplar Bluff, MO office was great, friendly and efficient. The main headquarters was awesome finding us a replacement car after we were hit by another car. The Jackson, TN Airport location was fantastic! They took the information and outfitted us with a great replacement vehicle. Thanks Enterprise for taking care if us, ever person we encountered in person or by phone was wonderful!

I am a CDL truck driver and was refused rental of a vehicle, which I booked through orbit. First of all they didnt have the vehicle, second she wouldnt use my debit card. The moment she started the conversation she was rude. I have rented from enterprise numerous times. Never again. In process of moving here and needed the truck to get the remainder of my stuff. I dont deserve one star.

AVOID! This office will quote you a price when you reserve your car then jack it up when time to pick the car up. They say one thing then deny it later, when I asked to speak with the manager I was at first ignored then told by Tiffany Hampton that she was the manager but today another person was manager but she was going to be the manager again soon. Huh? They were very rude and when I expressed my displeasure the manager Tiffany Hampton even made a vague threat of I am military, I can handle you!. Im a 63 year old man so I think a 30 something military trained woman should be able to handle me. But is that how they handle disputes, with threats of violence toward customers. Have called the district manager number but can only leave a message, so far no call back. AVOID this nightmare of a car rental company!

I rented a standard size car for 10 days for a family trip to Florida. Once again they only had to standard size cars. One was a KIA soul which should not be listed as standard. the other reeked of smoke and wet dog. I finaly settled on a full size Sonata which was not clean--it was stained and had a odor to it. But i had not other choice but to rent. I have a van rented for July, I expect it to be non smoking!! and clean!!!I did get a phone call upon my return and it was taken care of, she gave me a discount. But this local office is not good.

I had plans to come into Poplar Bluff, Mo on a train. Hoping to rent a car in Poplar Bluff to visit my grandmother in a little town north from there. I tried renting a car from the manager Travis. I have been renting from Enterprise in Poplar Bluff since they first opened in the 90s. I had wonderful experience with them, especially the manager, employees, etc. They treated me with the utmost respect as a customer. They would always see to it I had the kind of cars I wanted to rent, which back then were Cadillacs. The manager even gave me a free day to rent one on my birthday! Since then, after they moved to P.P. Highway, and the former managers eventually quit, it slowly has been going downhill as far as customer treatment. Once in awhile, they would not have a car for me, even though I always called a week ahead to reserve one. This last time I rented was a week ago, and I didnt get the car back in time (I was 1-1/2 hours late and office was closed.) I dropped the key in the drop box. I have always done this when I have an appointment (doctors, dentist, etc., out of town and get back late.) Ive never been charged for the next day when I have to get back an hour or so late, and the office is closed. This time I was charged a full day, and I didnt even have the car for my use. They not only charged ME an extra day, Im sure they rented that same car the same day, so they actually got double rental charges. The manager and the associates there kept saying it was their policy. At least the manager, Trey, who took R.Ts place, the former manager, gave me a refund for the second day. He told me it would be a one-time courtesy ONLY!!! I will keep renting from them because I have no other choice. I have out-of-town appointments and usually get back an hour late when the office is closed.

First they would not rent a vehicle because my mother only had the garbage bill in her name. Then they took 2 hours of my husband time to only not rent him a car because the debt card he was using was in my name, his wife. Ive rented from them a few times in Texas and never had this problem. The lady was very rude and unhelpful in every way.

I used Enterprise because of an accident while my suburban was being repaired. When the reservation was made, I was supposed to get something comparable to my vehicle to drive. I was given a Jeep Patriot. In no way is this comparable to a Suburban. Im not a small guy and I drive a Suburban to be comfortable. They knew this when I made the reservation. I dont know if it was the insurance company or Enterprises fault but I do know the request was made and I got stuck with something way less than comparable.

Rented a car to go to a funeral, called the day before to make sure a car was available, they said yes. I get there the next morning, after filling out all the paperwork, no car!!! They gave me a different vehicle to drive but I had to wait a hour for cleanup!! I left to do other things while theyre cleaning the car, I get a call that the car is ready, ok. I get there and the manager says, you cant have that car its a specialty vehicle and already reserved. At this point Im beyond pisses, I was suppose to leave at 8:00am, its now 10:00. They call around to find me a vehicle, they find one in sikeston, thankfully Im going that way, so I had to take one of their trucks to sikeston to drop off for a minivan. Finally made it to my destination but missed the familys viewing. I will say the staff there was apologetic and tried to help remedy this situation.

When I went to pick my car up they didnt have the car I reserved they gave me a lower class car which when I got back I complained about because it was too small my knees were on the dashboard, my arm was all on the door and the door was hard, that kind of irritated me.but he did give me a free upgrade and free gas return
