Peggy Landry is the best tax preparer weve ever had the pleasure of working with. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and had a wonderful way about her that put us completely at ease.

Their prices are outrageous. I have 1income sheet for the money I get monthly from my Florida teachers retirement system. The cost for this was going to be 169.00. I left without getting my taxes done. To me, this is outrageous for one income sheet. I have NO other deductions or income. Never going back there again. The woman very nice, but the prices are not.

They call me to set an appointment to do my taxes this year. I set the appointment. They call me 4 times to confirm I confirm 4 times. They text me to confirm, I text back. I show up on time for my appointment with all paperwork needed in hand. They tell me my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm. It was a lie, they took a walk-in and completely disregarded my appointment. With COVID-19 I feel there is a reason appointments are set so that people are not in contact with other customers. Completely unprofessional, no big deal, I mean we are in floriduhh. Joseph was nice enough to email me asking questions about my paperwork and I was being very responsive in a timely matter. He then told me I should make an appointment 😂😂😂😂 let’s all just take a moment to laugh. I have added screenshots to prove my appointment wasn’t canceled.

Today I went to do my 1099 taxes at this location specifically. I went into the location and they arranged a meeting at 2:30. I met with a gentleman named Joe. I handed him my tax return form and he told me that the amount they would charge would depend upon what the system comes up with. This initially through red flag because I know that that does not matter. After sitting there for about 20 minutes I had told him about a previous experience with the Haitian gentleman that I had had. And how he put school credits and children credits on my account and had cost me a lot of money that I had to pay back.After 20 minutes the gentleman told me that I was only getting $1900 back and it would cost $450 to file my taxes. I told him that I had a child which gives me the child credit in Florida, and he just looked at me and said do you want to do it or not?. I told him that was an extremely high amount of money to pay for taxes and last year I got back almost 250% of that amount. He then threw the papers at me and told me to go back to my Haitian hairy tax return agent.After 20 minutes the gentleman told me that I was only getting $1900 back and it would cost $450 to file my taxes. I told him that I had a child which gives me the child credit in Florida, and he just looked at me and said do you want to do it or not?. I told him that was an extremely high amount of money to pay for taxes and last year I got back almost 250% of that amount. I do not recommend going here if you’re trying to save money and get the most money back. They are just trying to overcharge clients and under pay clients by doing the minimum amount of research on filing.he could’ve easily taken the time to apply the child credit and charge me $200 and everyone would’ve been happy but he was rude and through the paperwork at me and basically should me out of the office because he was angry that I would not agree to his rip off prices. I would recommend having a blind person with no fingers type up your tax return over this guy. Thanks for listening and I hope you Take my advice
