This is one of the nicer pet stores around the area. Its newly built, most of the staff is young but knowledgeable. Store is very clean and tidy. I love that the animal habitats are clean as well. The fish tanks usually always look crystal clear with lots of baby fish!

Busy store! Small yet had many things I don’t see at other locations.

I wish they had Society finches so I could stay local and buy one. But I have to travel a distance to another pet store not PetSmart because none of them have Society finches.

I love Petsmart in every way, shape and form. This is why I was shocked and disappointed last week when I saw our wonderful puppy trainer, a young lady in her twenties, get bullied (to put it nicely) by the store manager at the Pompano Beach location in the most unfair of ways. We had a difficult individual inexplicably walk out of our group dog training class, after demanding the trainer provide her personal cell phone number to the class. This client was toxic and creepy, clearly unhappy with life itself. He took it out on Nina the trainer and walked out of the class. After the class, I happened to see the store manager confront the trainer in a rude and unwarranted manner. As I stood at the checkout register with my two young daughters, I felt it was simply unfair and had to step in. I respectfully explained to the manager that I was present during the incident in question, and that the client had been difficult and unruly. Nina was gracious in her response to the situation. If the client had not walked away from the class, I would have had to do so to protect my little ones from an unpleasant person like that. The manager was condescending with me and argued in favor of the unruly customer! Even though I witnessed the incident, he found no value in that and closed the door behind and continued scolding her! Talk about an abuse of power! Not cool Petsmart. Please correct this injustice and train your management team to treat all members with respect and dignity. Let’s all be part of the change we want to see in the world!

Very nice store and staffed. But Im a little bit disappointed with the customer service over the phone. I couldnt get any answer. I called for a while and nothing. I hope that they can fix that inconvenience in the future.

Dog training not for every dog. Nothing is focused on your dogs needs, its just a routine. My dog is very over excited when hes taken places and wants to play with everyone he pulls very hard and its difficult to calm him down.

This was the first time Ive been to this Petco as I just moved from Palm Beach county area and its also the first time that Ive never not gotten mad being at one lol. The two girls that were working one was training another girl and was very busy but still the girl was on top of everything and provided quick assistance in the fish department and she had knowledge about the fish as well which is always helpful I wish I could remember her name I cannot I am sorry lol But she did have nice nails if that 😆

Do not book anything with Leo! Took my puppy in for a simple bath and haircut which was simple nothing crazy just bring it down. He will not communicate with you as to if your puppy has any knot or anything and did not finish the job rushing or idk what but super unhappy he should not be a pet groomer! I had to bring him back the next day and was super grateful for Michelle that she was able to fix it all and complete the job that was not finished! GUYS! Michelle is your go to shes amazing and honest with you when it comes to your puppy. or if anything needs to be done great communication!

The worst grooming ever, they didn’t even brush my dog, I don’t think that they even bathed him, he looked and smelled the same way that he did when I brought him in. I had used other Petsmart and I never experienced that before. Elaine, the salon leader doesn’t even know how to deal with puppies, she said that she couldn’t work on my dog “as good” because he moves, of course! He is a puppy. After there I took him to Petco to get brush and bathed and they had no problem with it, my dog looked clean and smell fresh. Groomers at Pompano Petsmart are horrible and lazy.

Its serviceable, could be a lot better could be worse!

A clean a nice store with an in-site Banfield Vet Hospital all the way at the back. All the staff is helpful and amiable.

Leonel (Leo) was so nice and helpful when we came in for a walk in pawdicure appointment. He was very gentle while my chihuahua was getting his nails cut which helped with my dog’s anxiety. He goes the extra mile and seems to care for each and every pet that comes through the door.

Awful service at the grooming center. The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and made it seem like we werent worth her time. After we got our dog back (American Eskimo purebreed) the cut was lopsided and he looked outright terrible. Will not recommend even to my enemies. STAY AWAY. This place is terrible! Pass on the grooming here there are so many better places to go.

Tiny store no great black friday sale

This Petsmart in Pompano Beach deserves 5 stars. The employees are very kind and helpful. The store is very clean and organized. I usually take my friends dog to the salon for baths. Out of all the bathers, Michelle B is my favorite. If you’re looking for someone that is kind and have a whole lot of patience, she’s the one to go to! She did an amazing job with all of the shedding. I can tell she really loves what she does.

This PetSmart is definitely the cleanest one I’ve ever been to and has the widest variety of pet apparel that I’ve seen thus far. The associates are also very kind and helpful! I will actually continue to drive an extra 10 minutes to go to this location over the one that is around the corner to my home.

Bought 6 fish 2 days ago. She put all the fish in 1 bag wich i thought wasnt rite but now i got 2 dead fish so far. At $5 a piece it sux. Guess im not goin back there for fish. I got a pic but cant see how to post it.

Terrible went in for simple nail clip befire the girl even started with dog she said she probablt could not cut his nails because there are dark so we agreed to grinding she attempted to grind and asked her manager to help hold dog he haphazardly held him never trued to calm him or assist girl eith anything else use to go to this petsmart when chad was groomer sorry he is not there anymore dont trust them they clearly do not kniw how to handle animals thet had other dogs in the bag she said were getting bathes at least two of them were screaming these guys need a lot more traing

Employees r helpful. Store is llayed out nicely and parking is readily available. They have expanded a availability of high end food. They do not carry the Zignature that my pug with sensitivities eats.

There I always find everything I need and my pup loves the place. Gets crazy in toy section. There is so much to choose from. I never left this place empty handed.

This store is well stocked, and has amazing, alert, and caring personnel. Banfield Pet Hospital is located inside - Grooming is available also. I love businesses that do everything well; and they do!

Worst customer service ever. Not even a greeting when you enter. No help on the floor ever. My second visit was for grooming. The groomer seemed to have just started his career there and had little knowledge. He shifted my pooch to another groomer because he was nervous (scared?)with her. Cost was more than quoted and cut was anything but great. Since then, my dog will not allow grooming, even by me. She will growl and if you dont desist, she will snap. I have forgone the grooming and I will shop for my pet needs at Pet Supermarket which is staffed and cares about the customers and their animals.

The people inside are very rude and threaten people while in the store. I watched one girl threaten and case a guy out the door trying to start a fight with him. I will not go back if they treat people like that.

Nina and Arika are sweethearts! Our doggy absolutely loves coming here and we do too, not just to buy items but mostly to socialize our dog. She just has the best time seeing her best friends! Also, the Petsmart training classes have been a HUGE help! We just finished beginner and already signed up for intermediate. I was a little skeptical about them at first, but they really proved to work. It helped our dog learn new tricks, be more obedient, and overcome some anxiety. Highly recommend this Petsmart location and classes with Arika.
