Overall it was a fantastic learning and growing experience. The staff genuinely cares about the patients. If you put in the effort, and really try, you cannot help but walk away from Banyan with tools that will help you fight the addictions that haunt you.I wish there was a little more structure for the initial orientation and getting started, but you easily catch on within the first several days there.The counselors are genuine and challenge you on a regular basis.The housing is comfortable, and being able to cook for yourself and buy the groceries you want is a big plus.The rules are strict, and the near complete cut off from the rest of the world is rough, but I dont think I would have gotten as much out of it without having that set routine.Thank you Banyan.

I spent 40 days at Banyan Pompano Beach. I received some of the best care I’ve ever had and was treated with respect as well as understanding. Going to Banyan Pompano Beach truly saved my life. My son went to Banyan and I as a mother cant say enough good things about the center very caring staff and support if youre even thinking about this facility in Florida please dont hesitate to put your loved one there!!!!!! they also offer Family Services to support via text or call. My experience to Roots to Recovery is really good 😊 because they will help you if you need anything like (Food stamps, Jobs, etc..) To me I feel like the rent is Affordable, the curfew is good 👍🏾 and the House Manager is friendly and caring. And I would love to stay here longer 💞😁

My daughter was accepted to this facility for mental illness issues including self harm. She was only there for a couple days when she self harmed. She was Baker Acted even though it was a minor scratch and she was calm. She returned a few days later and was re-Baker Acted within 24 hrs for the same reason. They said they couldnt keep her safe and so they refused to take her back after the 2nd BA. Now I have received a bill for over $12,000. Of which my insurance paid all but approximately $2300. I told them on the phone that if the insurance didnt cover the costs then my daughter couldnt go there. I was assured there was no cost to us. So I sent her. She wasnt even in there facility for more than 3 days. My question is did they bill even though she was in the hospital. Buyer beware.

Spent hours on the phone with their admissions team. They promised to get an approval. My insurance is 100% covered. However, be advised their clinical and medical team may deny help. I was told none of their programs were appropriate for me. Do yourself a favor...save your time, and headache and try to find a treatment facility that does not play games or offer transparency.

Anthony Acampora did a stellar job leading the employee bible study in a warm environment allowing employees to follow the scriptures in a relatable way. It also allowed for employees to connect with each other and reflect on how the scriptures enhance their own lives.

Banyan was very good about finding a flight and getting me in quickly. Group sessions were good, as were the therapist . The food was delicious! And the case manager worked very hard to help me with my school and work issues.

Attending Banyan was a life changing experience. Every aspect of their service is absolutely amazing. I specifically attended the faith and recovery course and loved every minute of it. The counselors are so knowledgeable and point you in the right direction to discover truly profound personal attributes that can lead to recovery. I’ve been to to a few rehabilitation centers before I finally ended my journey in Banyan. I feel Banyan is without a shadow of a doubt the absolute best facility I’ve ever been in before! It’s remarkable how they cover every aspect of your life. You can feel their abilities in every single position that is filled in Banyan. It’s an amazing place. They are kind and helpful. You have support that I’ve never seen before anywhere else. They’re phenomenal from the minute you walk in until the day you leave. It was God-willing my last stop and I have them to thank for that. My therapist Ryan was absolutely amazing. He was a person truly gifted at his job. He made me realize something incredibly amazing I always felt wasn’t possible actually was possible. I cannot say enough good things about Banyan Pompano I was in there mental health program I actually ran through it twice I cant go on and on about the staff enough I wish I could name everybody the weekend staff Amanda Crystal Stephanie Tyler Matt Mike the week staff Katrina Ben and John theyre all amazing they dont do it for the money they do it because they truly truly care they take extra time to make sure that youre okay theyll take their time to talk to you if you need them theyll go out of their way. The clinical staff as well. Stephani Ron and all the therapists. Ryan especially I dont think I would have done as well without him he is amazingly talented as a therapist. The therapist as well Ive seen them stay after hours just to take care of clients that needed them at that moment I could go on and on I cannot say a good enough things about Banyan Pompano they helped me so much I am truly indebted. We live in the neighborhood where the facilities are. The residents are not supervised well. The house managers are nearly nonexistent. We see residents out when they are supposed to be inside. The residents are not encouraged to be respectful of those around them. Foul mouthed and disrespectful to others. Not a good environment! They shuffle off to their meetings and then come home to unsupervised surroundings. Dont waste your money.

There are thousands of treatment centers to choose from. But, Banyan Treatment Center in Pompano Beach is BY FAR THE BEST TREATMENT CENTER!! Genuine Concern, Holistic approach. Treat the underlying cause of addiction and treat YOU as a person. Cannot praise the staff enough; extremely caring, compassionate and accepting. Most have been there and know what we are experiencing and feeling. The Techs are the GREATEST ASSET of Banyan. They genuinely care and help you grow and develop.. Everyone from call center to therapists to techs were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Highly recommend Banyan Treatment Center for you or your loved one.

A decent place with great staff. Some of the rules are a little absurd for adults but all in all, I would recommend this place. FYI-There is no pool and no holding on to cell phones in PHP. You may be given intermittent access by your CM or therapist but is on an individual basis. Groups with Ron are awesome!

I can only say that it was a great place for me to start a new life for my recovery. The staff and therapist, amazing people they gave me a will and tools understand what I can do to change to help me in my sobriety. Awesome place I would definitely recommend to anyone that is trying to get clean. Great supportive and positive staff. The housing was clean and comfortable. I was especially impressed by the customizing of individual treatment based on the clients specific needs.I really felt as though I was a part of a family that really cared about each others progress. They helped me identify and address not only my substance abuse, but also underlying mental health symptoms which I had been struggling with and self medicating for a very long time..

Banyan is an excellent treatment facility. The staff is professional and courteous. The therapist are very good at what they do, digging in to some of the core issues that cause drug and alcohol addiction. They also provide a great deal of support, through the alumni program, upon leaving the facility. I would recommend this treatment center to anyone who wants to be free from the burden of addiction.

I was very nervous about coming to a treatment center for the second time since my first time was a bad experience. I loved Banyan, the staff here is amazing and very caring. They make a huge effort to look out for the clients best interests while also making it a great time and a positive experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out for my recovery thanks to everybody at banyan. If I needed something done wether it was concerning my medication or a living situation i would talk to any one of the staff and within a couple hours the problem would be fixed. They are not here to go by the books and to go through the motions, they didn’t treat me or anybody else like just another money sign like my last treatment center did. They were there for everybody and I still keep in contact with all of the staff because they were and are such positive role models and show me that you can actually have fun in sobriety. Alcohol and drugs were the solution to all my problems before I came to treatment and now I left with great coping skills, a positive outlook on sobriety, and a lot of good friends that are going to stay in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better set of therapists, techs, clinical staff and everybody else that works for banyan because they kept it real and positive and joked around which goes a long way in this small step in my life. The only downside for me is that I can’t live here.

I brought my brother to the airport yesterday to fly to the Stuart FL location....I will review after his treatment, however, I wanted to comment on my experience so far. I have been in contact with the intake center for 5 days....every single time I have called I have received 5 star treatment. They are compassionate, calming, professional, and frankly the customer service seems like a well oiled machine. Will review as he progresses. Terrible very clearly money hungry and desperate for commission sales, they know I have good insurance and they are thirsty to get it. I just had a guy call from the call center and told my life was awful and that I need to come up with flight money and copay over $1000 knowing good and well there about to make commission off 40K. Banyan saved my life. The staff is all around supportive from the techs to the clinical directors. They all go above and beyond to get you where you need to be and encourage you through the rocky points in recovery.Not only do you get clean and learn about sobriety but youre also taught the best tactics in protecting yourself when you go back out into the real world. They offer many activities (yoga, art, chiropractic care, meditation beds, beach trips, movies, bowling, the gym, etc.) to supplement your therapy and orient yourself into learning how to have fun/care for yourself in a sober state. I consider myself very blessed to have had my experience in this establishment.My only suggestion to anyone is make sure you have a therapist thats going to be conducive to your recovery. Dont question yourself if you feel someone else is going to be a better fit at caring to help you sort out the deep-rooted problems of your addiction. Your therapist should never make you feel shut off (no form of therapy works like that) and you as a client should never be ridiculed to other staff members.Just make sure you flow with the people you interact with and this place is wonderful.

I was at Chicago area facility, and it was a life altering decision for me. From the moment I first called, until I was discharged, the staff at Banyan made me feel hopeful in a very low point of my life. Their approach to recovery was so much more than what I expected. Once I made the decision to trust the process and go all in, true changes started happening. I am going on six months sober as of this review, and the flood of blessings in my life has been humbling. I truly believe that the staff and my fellow patients at Banyan saved my life. I highly recommend Banyan.

I wouldnt be where Im at today without the level of care offered at Banyan Treatment Center. I attended the Mental Health PHP program and it was just what I needed. The staff is phenomenal. They go above and beyond for their clients and I speak with confidence when I say that they are truly passionate about what they do. My case manager and therapist made sure that when I discharged, I had a solid aftercare program in place. Also, their Alumni program is very supportive and great with checking in to see how Im progressing after treatment. I would highly recommend Banyan to my loved ones or anyone in need of Mental Health or Substance Abuse care.

I came to banyan, strung out, depressed, tired, and I honestly didn’t care if I lived or died at this point in my life. I was 19 years old, had been in and out of other treatment centers, jail, every institution in the book, but absolutely no where like banyan. The techs, as well as other clients, and therapist showed me love like I had never been shown. Banyan will show you the ropes to recovery (taking you to meetings, providing a safety bubble to not get high, and living with others) but ultimately it is up to you too apply it to your life. While I was at banyan, I refound self love, and my faith in God. This was an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. I’m going on 6 months clean, and sober, working steps, and I look forward to the alumni meetings every other week and getting to see my banyan family. Great staff, great treatment center. We attended the Family Conference Weekend while our family member was in treatment, and we were very impressed by every staff member we met. Everyone knew our child personally and took the time to talk with us about our concerns. The conference was well worth the trip, as it reassured us that we had made the right decision in sending our child to Banyan in Pompano.

This place is a joke I can never get a hold of anyone and when you do no one has a clue as to what is going on I have been told on multiple times that a certain night is my phone call night only to find out it’s a different night and it’s always a story I have sent multiple emails with no response. They are definitely after the insurance money because they tell you they will be there as long as insurance is paying I truly regret putting my wife on a plane to go to banyan

They have personalized care plans for clients and many programs to ensure a successful live in recovery after treatment. Had a very good experience with banyan, they helped me get through a very hard time in my life and showed me there is a better way of living my life. It was the worst and most disgusting place i have ever sen. The roof in my shower was caving in an wires were hanging into my shower. Thet never came in to fix it. The whole concept there was threatening clients to stay and pinky my therapist was so incompetent. Pls dont send send anyone u love hete. The worst possible i have ever witnessed

Im a 47 year old man who for the first time in my life found myself in a position where I needed help with my addiction. I was transferred to Banyan from the first facility I went to and I really wish I had gone to Banyan from the beginning. I was scared to death upon my arrival to Banyan, and the staff was the most caring, capable group of people I could ever hope to be surrounded by. All my fears went away almost immediately, I was made to feel safe and comfortable so that I could focus all my attention on my recovery. Not only did they look after me, but they also stayed in contact with my family to help them with my recovery. Banyan helped me get to a step down facility that was close to home and made the arrangements for me to start there with the only thing I needed to do was show up and the new facility was there to help me without any issues. Even after I was discharged from Banyan the staff still to this day contacts my wife to see how she and I are doing, and the alumni staff has always been around providing a friendly ear and support if I need it. I cant speak highly enough about all the staff at Banyan for their help and support throughout my recovery and if it hadnt been for them I would not be here today to write this review. Because of Banyan I am still married, clean, sober, and alive. Please reach out to Banyan if you need help for yourself or a family member THEY WILL HELP YOU.

The staff all seems very concerned, but I am not happy that Just after 1 week of detox, my bf is coming home, they havent been able to get him to talk, or go to group, it seems to me hes calling the shots and they are scared of him, ive gotten to talk to him everyday which I was under the impression there were no calls the first week or two. Slightly disappointed in their willingness to just give up on him. He still needs more help and they are simply not trying hard enough. IMO

Banyan does a wonderful job offering many treatment services for their patients. Their staff truly cares and it shows in all the efforts they make for their patients. If you know someone interested in Christian recovery, they have a program that is so unique compared to the rest. I would recommend Banyan to a loved one in need for sure.

My Experience was wonderful, the techs care about you, they take you to the gym, play basketball and the beach. My therapist was great and I was able to do a lot of good work, and start my recovery process here. I recommend this to anyone who is considering substance abuse treatment, this is the highest quality center Ive ever attended.

As someone who had relapsed countless times and has been in multiple treatment centers Banyan pompano is one of a kind. The therapists and case management loved me enough to tell me what I needed to hear and what I’ve been avoiding which have been major barriers in my past recovery processes. They guided me through the process and made me a personal recovery plan that for the first time in my life I feel extremely confident with. My experience here has been amazing. The therapists, case managers, and the BHT’s are what make this place unique. If anyone is looking for treatment for MH/SA this is the place to be. So grateful I came here ..

This place doesnt care about anything but the insurance money theyll get. My boyfriend just had a HORRIBLE experience there. He went there really wanting to get clean and get the help he needed. He wanted to do things the right way, and this place would not do that. He said the some of the counselors even flat out told him that its a business first, treatment center second. Theyre just after the insurance money. The place was over-populated and full of 18-24 year olds who just joked around, chasing girls, and were not taking anything seriously. The therapists/counselors really didnt show that they cared whatsoever. He asked to be transferred to another facility, because he felt he wasnt getting the necessary treatment and they refused to help him at all. They finally said, you can either stay or leave. He walked out, but they kept his things. They made him stay out on the street for 24 hours without his things. No phone, no wallet, no food, no water, no where to go. He had to find someplace on the street to sleep for the night. Then when he got back, he somehow got his things so he made the decision to leave. THEN, they constantly called his phone AND his mothers to get him to come back. So much so that it was borderline harassment. He flat out told them to stop calling and they did anyway. They also lied and said that his mother called balling her eyes out asking them to get him to come back. SHE NEVER CALLED. They only wanted him to come back because they want the insurance money. This place does not care about helping those in need, just the business.

Banyan has been most helpful because of the staff that works there, they practice what they preach. All needs are accommodated for. This place and the people who work there helped save my life. Long after I left, I I still have the support of the alumni team and specifically from the alumni director Dave G, hes a great guy. It shows how much they care.

My son has been at Banyan for almost 60 days. He has struggled with substance abuse for years and has been in and out of recovery for a year next week. He has done many different programs and at Banyan they seem to really care about there clients and help them with life skills. He has settled and found an inner peace that wasnt there before. This company is money hungry ..they pressure you to go and tells you bad things are going to happen if you dont go..they know i have great insurance ..i thought i made the right call. I was wrong

Waste of money!!! Gave my family hope! They pretended to care, but after 2 weeks they discharged my son and said they were going to set up intensive outpatient for him back home and they didn’t! He was back on heroin a week after he got back, they just want to fill the beds! His therapist kept calling him by the wrong name during our conversations! Now my son received a bill from them for $7500.00 even though they said his insurance would cover everything! It’s all a scam!!

Ill never forget the array of different feelings and emotions I had going on upon my entry to Banyan. At first I felt strong feelings of guilt and shame considering this wasnt my first rodeo, and the immense realization set in that I was really back in treatment again. After that, I was angry and bitter and I treated everyone around me, especially the staff, with such disrespect. Their only reactions towards me? Compassion and motivation. They smothered me with love, motivation, and hope. Ive been to other treatment centers where they were just a walk in the park. Yeah, Im not going to lie... they were nice, but did they teach me anything? Nope. Being forced to go to groups every day and listen to other peoples problems when all I could think about was myself, and having to see the real truth in what I was dealing with -- with this serious disease that we were all going through was the absolute last thing I wanted to do. But you know what? Those things, along with all the other painful and unfair things that we are forced to do there; (cooking, cleaning, one on one therapy), are the main things that helped me to want to get better in the end. I didnt think I was going to make it through a single day there, but I left that program feeling not only happy and healthy. I also had an overwhelming sense of gratitude for every staff member there and for everything they had done for me..and just feeling grateful for being alive..something I hadnt felt in such a long time. Some people can try and say theyre only in it for the money, and unfortunately there are some other treatment centers out there like that, but I know personally and can say whole-heartedly that the owners and staff at Banyan truly do care about each and every one of their clients. I would recommend this treatment center to any fellow addict in need I happen to come across in the future, as well as to any family member or friend looking for a safe and trustworthy place to guide their loved one towards recovery.

Banyan is an awesome treatment center. Their detox, PHP, and IOP programs are the best Ive ever been to. The therapists, case managers, and tech staff were all very professional and supportive. I would highly recommend any seeking help with addiction or mental health issues to come to these facilities.

Banyan Treatment Center has helped me in so many different ways. The staff very supportive and really connects to the clients on a personal level. The behavioral health technicians are involved in assisting clients with their emotional needs, as well as being a positive example of healthy people in recovery. I recently had to send a loved one to this treatment center and while this process is hard for the Addict/Alcoholic, it is equally as hard for the loved ones of those afflicted with this disease. I can say that while my loved one was under the care of this facility, all of their needs were met and what is a physically and mentally draining and extremely painful process was made that much easier by the Staff who handled him with love and genuine concern for his well being. It was the first time in a long time I have been able to get a decent nights sleep. I would highly recommend this Treatment Center to anyone who is battling with addiction, you will be greatly cared for.

Easily the best treatment center I have ever been to, and I have been to quite a few. I will forever owe Banyan for saving my life. They taught me not only how to get clean, but most importantly they taught me how to stay clean. The therapists and the rest of the staff are some of the best Ive ever encountered and they genuinely care about you and your health. They were able to discover and point out things in myself that I was never able to recognize on my own. My therapist also worked with my family (with my permission) to help mend some relationships that I harmed and even took time to discuss ways in which they could start to heal some of the scars that I left behind. I can confidently say that Banyan did everything they possibly could to save my life and they were successful in their attempt. They never gave up on me, and as hopeless as I felt about myself, they were able to remove me from this state of mind and now (4 months later) I have never been so excited and happy about where my life is today.

Thank you to Banyan for believing in me. I have never been to a rehab(and there been to a few) that knew my name from my case managers to my therapist and the alumni team. The treatment team at Banyan are all phenomenal. They really care about there clients and arent all about the money like other treatment facilities. Their facilities are always immaculately clean. They are the best place to go to for aftercare success

Ive been to 10+ treatment centers and nothing even comes close to Banyan Treatment Center. The staff there is amazing and always willing to answer any questions you may have or just to talk and will always help you in whatever way they can. I can honestly say Banyan saved my life and for that I will always remain grateful.

My journey of recovery began at Banyon in Stuart. Words will never be enough for the gratitude I have for ALL the staff there. I will be forever grateful to Banyan Treatment Center in Pompano Beach for the much needed help they are giving my son and myself. For the last 2 weeks I have been in constant touch with Dave Goloski from Banyan and Tim Ryan, no matter what time of day it was I always got a quick response and no question I asked went unanswered. Dave did everything in his power to put me at ease and help get my son into the program for the help he so desperately needs. So with the help of Dave and Tim my son is heading to treatment today. Our family has been going through some disconcerting times lately. Our son has an addiction and we are trying to be supportive as he battles this addiction and his life problems. Not knowing what else to do we encouraged him in his decision to seek professional help and that led us to Banyan Treatment Center.Initially we did not know where to turn, Then I spoke with Lauren, in finance, she was such a tremendous help, she was so encouraging and kind, I would not have been able to understand and cope with the role that we play in helping our son to heal without her. David LeClair was his therapist, he was awesome, talked to us every step of the way, we truly felt like he cared about our sons recovery. Without them, and all of the techs at Banyan we would not be moving in the right direction and I am certain, neither would our son. Without the support of the staff at Banyan we would not have hope for a new life for our son.

Banyan has been very helpful in m recovery from mental health issues and eating disorders. The techs are all wonderful and super nice. They talk to you when youre feeling down or even when you just want to talk to someone. They are very efficient on giving out meds on time and making phone calls. The case management is wonderful and very much efficient. The techs get you to and from the center safely and on time. Very good at their jobs. Such a great experience. The staff at the boca raton location are wonderful too. The cooks do great with their food and when people have food allergies they are on top of what it is and what they can make for said client to have. Such a wonderful experience here at banyan. Banyan changed my life and I truly believe in everything they have to offer. Ive been in and out of treatment since the age of 16 and my last stop was Banyan. My sober date is July 24th, 2013. I will forever be grateful for all their staff that showed me its possible to stay sober and by the grace of God I can teach others the same.

My son was sent to Pompano Beach to Banyan from Little Rock, Arkansas. They said all the right things and had awesome reviews so I certainly expected a lot from them. He went through several phases and facilities as part of their step-out program. There was very, very little communication with me. I scheduled a family counseling session with them so I could learn what to do and not to do when he left. Keep in mind now that I am 1,158 miles away and as you would expect any mother to be, worried sick about my son. So I pay $975 for my flights, and another $8-900 for a hotel for the weekend. Within an hour of my arrival for my SCHEDULED family counseling, he calls and says he is being transferred out to a half-way house and there would be no counseling session. No instructions, recommendations, nothing. He had been on LDN while in treatment to negate the effects of any drugs which would, of course, deter him from relapsing. There was no prescription to take with him to be filled, nor a referral to a physician in the area. We finally found a dr for him to refill the medication last week with no assistance from Banyan. It was my understanding that he would be in their “system” for 6-9 months and slowly be reintegrated into society. That did not happen. They moved him around 2 or 3 times but he was out within 2 months. All we really did here was add to my worry by moving him so far away from me that I have no idea if he is okay or not. No idea if they helped or not. He looked great the weekend I spent with him but that was straight out of treatment. I pray something they did sticks with him but I certainly can’t recommend them with my experience!

My daughter had a relapse and had to go to detox at Clearbrook in PA. In every conversation I had with staff or counselors or anyone I was treated with such kindness and respect and care for my daughter and for me. I have dealt with many rehab places for my daughter and many times I was treated with rudeness or they seemed to rush me off the phone or be impatient. Thank you Banyan for being kind especially knowing that the loved ones are facing difficult emotional states.

I had a great experience at Banyan. Im truly grateful to have been able to receive treatment here. Ive been to treatment 46 times but Banyan was the best and will be the last thanks to the staff.

Being my first treatment center I could not have asked for a better experience. From the facility/housing to the techs and staff here it was overall an amazing experience. Banyan is a great place is to the start of a new and amazing life

The therapy in mature track was barely adequate for the price I was paying. Not much one on one therapy and my guess why relapse percentage is so high. The mature track therapist (Dave) needs to retire. He is condescending and judgemental. The housing was appalling! The apts were nasty. We were expected to clean our apts, but appropriate cleaning supplies were not provided. The neighborhood where we were housed was terrible, a drug dealer lived across the street and all the Banyan staff pretended like they didnt know what was going on. I was lied to multiple times by Banyan admissions and the Stuart, Fl staff regarding services that were provided at Pomano facility. We r suppose to be open and honest in recovery, BUT its okay for Banyan to lie to us?

This place is the spot to come if you really want to recover. Helpful staff and roberta is a great case manager definetly a 5 star program would highly recomend it.

I don’t really know where to begin with Banyan. This place will have forever changed my life. They wil forever be a family that I will cherish. From homeless, hopeless, and close to death from my addiction, Banyan gave me the fresh start I needed. They have an excellent facility in Pompano Beach Florida. Not a day went by where I wanted to leave. They gave me the foundation that I needed and the start I needed to get where I am today. I am forever grateful to the people, staff, and tools they gave me to begin the changes I needed to live a sober life. There is not one bad thing I have to say about this place. I whole heartedly love everything and everyone I got to experience it with. Thank you Banyan Treatment Center.

Ive been to alot of facilities and can say this is one of the better ones. Alot of staff are ex addicts or alcoholics and they can relate to what someone in early recovery goes thru. I see these negative reviews and as former client have a hard time believing some of these claims. I pray for those people. That being said, the alumni program is amazing. Dave, Irina and Justin do wonders for keeping us plugged in with one another.
