Pest Control of Broward is an excellent company with a stellar reputation. They took care of my house when no other pest control company would help us, and I am very grateful to them for all their hard work. Communication was great from start to finish as they called the day before leading up the visit and then sent me updates after it happened too! Honest people that do what they say - I highly recommend this place if youre in need or want preventative measures around your home!

Ive had termite issues at my front door for the last two years, Ship Shape has been here three times and whatever they have done has not worked. On top of that, just like many others that have left reviews, I can attest for their lack of professionalism. Ship Shape will not show up on the day you schedule them, they will not call you to let you know, they will not show up on time when you reschedule. Take your business elsewhere.

They get the job done, but they do not show up on time or on the date you have scheduled. I took off work on Friday and waited all day. I had to call them to see if they were coming or not. They did not even reach out to let me know they were not coming. Then they planned to come on Saturday morning. I had to call them twice on Saturday to see if they were coming. I did not receive any updates from them. They finally showed up, after being pestered into coming. When I renewed my annual contract, they were supposed to call and schedule an inspection. I waited for 3 months, and then had to call them myself. They have now merged with Pest Depot, so good luck getting an on-time appointment until they invest in more employees.

I have had 2 great experiences with Ship Shape in the past 6 months. Im a Realtor, one of the properties I manage needed a tent before new tenants moved in and they were right there to get the job done. The second experience was with a seller and ship shape kept the original estimate and were able to schedule when we needed it done for the closing.

Been having awful problems with termites etc...in this house that I am renting, the owner has a contract with Ship Shape pest control Ive had the company come out a few times; but the last time was this Young guy Steve and the other gentelman who was working with Him and the did an awesome job very thorough and they showed me the problem and how they find these tiny holes in the wood etc....Sarah in the office is very nice as well.I will recommend Ship Shape pest control to anyone hoping that you will have the same positive experience as I did.

I called Ship Shape very upset about a (just one) palmetto bug and wanted someone to come asap. A lovely woman, I believe her name was Dawn sensed the anxiety in my voice and scheduled a service call for me the same day. Don’t EVER expect them to show up on time or on the date you put in for service. They will just waste your time. Over a year later and I still have the same termites in the same areas of my home. We hired this company. They are not trust worthy. If they make a mistake they will not handle the problem or attempt to solve it professionally. There is a reason there are multiple bad reviews. I should have listen to them. It is no wonder that they are NOT on the BBB site. Some of these post 5 star posts are fake from people that work there.

Hi all after having tenting done from several companies in the past, I wish I would have used Ship Shape Pest Control from the beginning. One of the most important factors would be communication and true efficiency. Its difficult enough having a termite problem, but this company communicated from the beginning starting from the field representative and the the ladies in the office. Its a pleasure to have everyone on the same page and the termite problem is almost forgotten when you speak to one of the ladies from the office and they tell you exactly whats going on, when its going to happen, and just being 100% honest with you about scheduling, contact personal, and retrieving receipts, invoices, and a certificate all over the phone. Ship Shape is very thorough and courteous. They have taken care of my termite bond for years. I needed a WDO report to sell my home, my realtor had to run over to open the house, and Eugene waited and made sure I got it that day. Very good company.

The previous reviews were all correct. The techs have missed numerous appointments without calling. The owner is rude. I was placed on hold without prompting, and when the owner picked up, he said I was told to pick up the phone, I was about to do something else and your slowing me down. He then basically called me a liar, as HE lied and said that the techs attempted to come to my gated community house and I was not there. When I told him that is not possible as the guard gate did not call me, he called me a liar again and told me I see why no one can talk to you. I could not believe he spoke to me like that. Appearantly I was not the first. This on top of the fact that my pest issue has not improved at all, after I was promised it would be resolved in less than 2 months. I am so upset I gave my money to this company. Stay away.

His is the worst company Ive ever hired. Very unprofessional, they dont show up on time EVER...or they just dont show up at all. They may cost a little less, but their service reflects their price. I must say they did a great job at my place and we no longer have a bug issue. I think they are good at what they do it seems when people have a problem they are not happy in the first place and by the time they call some one it is usually because they were unable to solve the problem by themselves and I understand because south Fl has a lot of bugs rats bedbugs spiders termites and a whole lot more.I was please with the guy they sent out and the way he handled our issues.I will call them again.

I was hesitant to try a new company because I had some bad experiences with another local company last year, but I decided to give ShipShape a try when the fleas and ticks (and other bugs) got to be too much....my wife,kids and our 2 dogs and cats made it clear that something needed to be doneOur experience with ShipShape has been great - nice people, they are reasonably priced and best of all - results! THIS IS THE WORST company I ever dealt with. The owner is absolutely unprofessional and rude. They did a crappy job here today and have been putting me off for the last three days. No Shows with a phone call etc...I called today to complain again and the Owner yelled at me and was very rude!!! They are unreliable, deliver BAD work and have horrible work ethics!!! STAY AWAY from this company. Even one of the employees said that he got phone calls about complains every day and that the owner is terribly unprofessional. We been with them for two years and they are supposed to come out every other month. Unless I call them and remind them they dont do it. Waste of money and time!

Probably the most incompetent people to deal with. The lady I dealt with didnt understand simple spoken English, or she was just an idiot. There were major problems with the scheduling all the way to the billing. I wouldnt recommend the headaches and stress dealing with these morons.

Beware of this scam company...his is the worst company Ive ever hired The first time I contacted your office was because I have a big problem with Roaches inside my house. You recommended to tent the house and leave the tent for 2 days, that way the gas will eliminate all the Roaches and the eggs of Roaches. I agree and paid for the service. One day prior to tenting of the house, one of your secretaries from Ship Shape Pets Control contacted me to advise me that they will not be able to leave the tent for 2 days as agree because they needed the tent for other houses. And they will spray 3 to five times more gas in order to get rid of the problem. I agree, and the tent installs next-day… how does one verify that extra gas was used?I returned to my house three days later and the same day I encounter numerous roaches on the kitchen counter. For the next 3 to 5 days, I keep seeing Roches all over. I contacted Ship Shape Pets Control, and the owner sent personnel to fumigate inside the house. I went out of the state for five days and prior to leaving the owner of Ship Shape Pets Control suggested that I place my toaster, coffee maker and other appliances in the refrigerator. And upon my return, I encounter many Roaches (several different breads) on my kitchen counter, and inside the kitchen draws. I collected them and have these roaches in a plastic container.Today I contacted Ship Shape Pets Control to inquire how to resolve my infestation problem. The owner of Ship Shape Pets Control (Larry) said that we had German Roaches and in order to rid the property of German Roches that would cost an additional $400.00. Larry also said that I should have placed the appliances in the freezer not the refrigerator. Larry…whether the appliances are in the refrigerator or freezer, the appliances were sealed and not in the kitchen area.I was told by Larry that he did what he was paid for. I am not a Roach Specialist, and I have no knowledge of the different breads of Roaches. I said to Larry, “1) you did not leave the tenting up per our agreement (attached contract), 2) you’re the specialists, and because I am the potential client you should have told us that the treatment you suggested would not rid the home of all roaches.My house is infected with Roaches. I paid for a service that I am not satisfied with, and instead of providing the service Larry promised, Larry wants to charge us a second time for services he should have performed the first time.If I do not receive a satisfactory solution from Ship Shape Pets Control,

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. Spoke to Lisa pertaining amy property which I newly purchase last year. Wanted to know it was tented and and she was very ready as if is my house I should no if it was tented. Told her I could hardly hear her, her comment was Im an a landline she did not hear what I have to say she just hang the phone up. I will never again used this company.

No shows, late shows, always an excuse and never reliable service from our experiences with them. We ended up going with a larger national company to cover our properties, as ship shape never came thru with their commitments.

They had to come to the house twice, once for a quote and another time to do the job, which was inconvenient since I knew what I wanted already, just a quick spray around the perimeter for roaches and ants because I live on the intercostal. They told me tho that I should have some roach bait gel applied to the backs of the outlets though as well. Which only seemed to attract more bugs than normal. Both guys were kinda shady, and the one that did the work was dressed in jeans and a black Harley t shirt with sleeves cutoff, showing lots of tattoos. Also he was not professional whatsoever and just talked badly about the owner the whole time he was creepin around my house. Id never use them again.

I would NEVER recommend this company EVER! Let me begin by saying I was a Ship Shape Customer for many years prior to this incident. I called Ship Shape (after hours) due to a fly infestation in my kitchen (during a dinner party!). Needless to say my message Im sure sounded like a crazy woman. First thing in the morning, i received a call back from Tim who told me I likely had a roof rat problem and he would come by right away to check it out. He arrived as promised with a helper. As I greeted him at the front door, he started sniffing and said oh yes I smell it very strong here This was before he ever stepped foot into my house!. The helper he had with him, said he didnt smell anything (nor did I). He proceeded to tell me he smelled it in the house as well, at which point his helper then confirmed that he was able to smell it once in the house. Tim then sent the other gentleman up to the attic to investigate,while he sat and told me stories of roof rats. Of course his helper came down from the attic claiming to have found Rat Droppings. He then went up in my secondary attic and came down with the same determination. Immediately Tim sat and began calculating and telling me my options which began at $4,000 and when pushed for another option he came to a $1,500 option and of course when pushed further told me of a $400 option which would leave me open to re-infestation and likely airborne deteriorating rats in my attic. Of course, I set an appointment to have the work done as I have used Ship Shape for many years and trusted them. After he left, I just wasnt comfortable with Tim, or paying over $1500 without a second opinion. I called another company who came over and explained that the droppings Ship Shape had seen were actually lizard droppings. He proceeded to explain what and how I would know for sure if I had a roof rat problem. He also told me he was surprised to hear about roof rats at this time of year, since it is not the season. He assumed the flies, based on where they congregated, and that they had subsided by this time were due to a dead curly tailed lizard (which I have a lot of in my yard) in the soffit outside the kitchen window. I chose to trust the second opinion and did nothing. I haven t seen a fly and I havent smelled anything! I believe Tim and Ship Shape were trying to take advantage of a distraught woman!

Scheduled for Termite inspection from 12 pm to 2pm they never showed up. We rescheduled again today for 10 am to 12pm and again no one showed up. I guess no wonder they have such bad rating.

This company is the WORST! Have had RATS in my house since OCTOBER! They constantly miss appointments and even when they come they have NO IDEA what they are doing! I dont know where to start. They dont show up on time, sometimes they just dont show up. They dont honor their commitments and they have been unprofessional since day 1. We are officially done with this company, both for our personal home as well as over 200 properties that our company manages.

Not only is the service crapy, but the customer service skills, from the owner Larry down, leaves a lot to be desired; ALWAYS late, rude, and have the NERVE to send me a bill, even after their Bi-Monthly service stop didnt eradicate the ants! This place is such a sham!!! My house had the termite tent placed for 2 days - less than a year later, I have a major termite infestation (I had technician come from a better known pest control company)....meaning, they didnt do a good job the first time around. I even saw the termites throwing out pieces of wood from a door frame (I have a video on my phone to prove it) and called for them to check it out (it was within the one year guarantee) and the employee said that was old termite residue. Really?!? I was adamant and insisted but they did not treat it. Mind you, I had to call them like 3 different days to reschedule the follow up appointment since the employee missed the first appointment without even calling to advise he wouldnt be showing up. When I called I felt very degraded as a customer, as if Im doing them a favor - please! Some rude girl put me on hold for 10 minutes and to my suprise hung up afterwards. Obviously I called again and complained (which is why Im assuming the first appointment was missed - clearly on purpose). This company is a joke! Do not waste your time, or you will be very dissapointed and upset that you have wasted your money. Im going report them to the BBB. They dont even deserve 1 star for the rating!!!!!!!!!

My home that I bought was tented by Ship Shape 2 years ago. Apparently the seller did not pay his renewal the month we took possession. I called and wanted them to reinstate the policy they set up an appointment and NEVER showed or called back. When I contacted them they were ETREMELY rude I could not believe the woman on the phone got me into a shouting match. Turns out the termites are back. I know they did not want to take me back under warranty because they never did the job correctly in the first place. STAY AWAY

I have never been so disappointed with a company as I have with Ship Shape Pest Control. First of all, Ship Shape was the subcontractor used by the home inspector that I chose to inspect a house I was trying to buy. I do not feel that they performed a professional or thorough inspection of my house. According to the termite report, there was only termite damage found on the north and south facia. Borate dusting was suggested for these limited areas. Unfortunately, when we had the walk-through one day before closing we found a pile of black termite droppings in the master bedroom. On the day after closing we found a pile of recent beige colored droppings in the second bedroom in the corner of the room that did not require the moving of any furniture. We were upset to say the least. So we called another pest control company to give an estimate on treatment. The of the other pest control companys supervisor noticed LIVE termites in the master bedroom and took some away LIVE in a plastic bag. He informed us that borate treatment was not the proper treatment in our case but that tenting was the only option. Needless to say, that option is much more expensive than borate dusting. His price for tenting is $860. Had I known all of this prior to closing, I would have asked the seller to pay $860 for tenting instead of $270 for borate dusting. That is a difference of $590.Now I am out $590.Please note that the termite report states that the Notice of Inspection had been affixed to the WATER HEATER. That is impossible, as the water heater was inaccessible behind a sheet rocked wall at the time of the inspection which is backed up by the home inspection report, thus proving that the termite report is flawed from the start. I will never use these people again.

They really know what they are doing, very good service, prompt. The tech took his time and I am pleased to say my ant problem was solved.

****Buyer Beware****Company failed to show when scheduled. I called owner and he lied and said crew was on their way they were stuck in traffic on the interstate. I was on the interstate at the same time and their was no traffic. He never showed and never called.Many other companies to do business with that will treat people like a customer.

They tented my house, but the termites came back. They refused to re-tent after taking me for more money to renew for another year.

Driver almost side swiped me on poweline because he used the right turn lane to overtake traffic. Then he pulled up next to me at the light and flipped me off and stared me down.

This service was friendly and even though I had to reschedule, they were GREAT for getting rid of my pests and bugs! Nobody wants bugs in their house, least of all me and my family. Thank you Ship Shape! My home is Ship Shape!
