I had the misfortune of being in a highway accident today. But there’s always a silver lining. Adam #135 and Mark #131 with Emerald went above and beyond. Upon arrival they came over to each car (4 car accident) to make sure everyone was ok. They took great care in loading the cars on their tow trucks. They heard I didn’t have someone to pick me up and then swiftly offered to drive me to a safe location where I could contact a ride share driver. They even offered me a cold water! They assisted in getting boxes out of the car and refused to leave me until the driver arrived. I can’t say enough about the kindness extended by these two gentlemen. I would highly recommend Emerald towing. Thank you so much Adam and Mark!

I dealt with Jim, which is very professional, very kind and understanding. Overall, outstanding customer service! THE BEST!!! My client had a bad car accident and was in the hospital for quite some time. His truck was towed to this yard incurring a high bill due to so many days in the hospital. The hours of operation are incorrect on Google. Make sure you do your due diligence and call the towing company yourself do not trust what your insurance company tells you are the hours of operation or what’s listed on Google

I think when you are in an accident and taken from the scene by ambulance that it is reprehensible to take your car to an impound lot especially when it is totalled and then charge you $330 for less than 8 hours of storage. $120 for labor for less than an hour? Really!?! This place is a racket! Just sayin. Want honesty, you got honesty! Pure theft in my book! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I had a concussion and had to come deal with this or face over $1000 if I didnt deal with it today! Wow! Just wow!!!!

Adam-135 came to my rescue and helped me out of a dangerous situation on the road in traffic. Also his calm and inviting demeanor was so refreshing after what could have been a near death situation and he was willing to travel the distance to deliver my car to a much further dealership after the closest one would not take it (Pompano to Pembroke Pines). He even stopped and waited for me to grab a quick bite as I had not eaten all day.I could say much more about my great experience... but over all ADAM-135 YOU ROCK!!!

My car had a flat tire and I called emerald towing. They picked up right away and were able to get to my car within an hour. The driver was pleasant and took me to my local tire shop. Id definitely use them again!

Everyone was efficient and clear in their communication. The driver was very patient as I attempted to retrieve what I could from my car which was totaled. It would have been helpful to know that much of the lot was flooded. I was fortunate that my car was in a partially clear area.

My wife was involved in a car accident and the other driver was cited. When Florida Highway Patrol showed up the notified us they called the Emerald towing to come pick up the car. After emerald towing picks up the car and takes it to their YARD which is 7.5 mles away, I am advised of a $329.32 TOW BILL to pick up the vehicle. HOW the heck is a tow $329.32 bill to tow a vehicle that was drive able to a TOW YARD. The Jennings family or who ever runs this place is corrupt as is their agreement to pick up vehicles called in by the Police Department This is completely corrupt and to not be allowed for my towing company to pick up the vehicle which was on the side of the road is wrong. for EMERALD towing to charge $329.00 to two the vehicle is completely OVER PRICED. The vehicle was not drive able and the breakdown given125.00 to HOOK the vehicle66.00 to clean up - there was no clean up25.00 Labor50.00 for Mileage (tow yard) 7 miles away$50.00 recovery ??? What is this$329.32 totalCOMPLETE and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE on the other end. Seems like when you run a monopoly you can talk to people however you want.

I cant remember gentlemans name that was working today (5/11/2020) but he was genuinely the nicest person we could meet after having a nasty accident the day before. He did everything he could to help calm my girlfriend and reassure her that things happen and ease her stress. I really wish I could remember his name to give him the credit directly as he helped make a stressful time very easy and very straightforward. He deserves all the praise that can be given. Friend has a vehicle in there, only time to get it is on the weekend and the shady tow companys business office is closed. What a crock. Just a ploy to drain more money out of people. And if you notice scrolling through reviews, that crooks dont respond to bad reviews, only to the ones they have friends and family fake. Should be forced out of business.

I was charged $363 dollars after I had gotten into an accident and they were called to tow my car. My car hadnt even been in the yard overnight, five hours AT MOST. That is a ridiculous charge, and I never ever want to deal with this company again. If I ever have to have my car towed again for any reason, I will go out of my way to avoid these scam artists.

This is the worst place for towing. They tore off the plastic bumper of the car and never said a word. Crooks

8/7/20 I was on the Florida turnpike had my front windshield broken by road debris. The highway patrol called Emerald towing before I could call roadside assistance. The Emerald driver told me while I was on the phone with roadside assistance that the Highway patrolman would not wait for my tow company. Thinking that he was honestly telling me the truth, I let them t o w it to the dealership I had bought the jeep from 1 month earlier a 25 mile trip. They charged me $417.00. Not only did I get screwed by the road debris and almost lose my life. Emerald had to take advantage too. Not a nice business. Dont Use Them if at All possibleChris Miami Florida

Got my vehicle towed bad experience.Okay in all fairness its never a fun day when you get towed. I edited my review from 1to 4 stars for a few reasons. . I was under a lot of stress the day I got towed. My one star review was partially a result of my stress and not the service I received at the towing company.. It wasnt their fault I got towed,. Is what it was their fault I had to wait about 30 minutes to get belongings from my truck. However today they referred me to another company to tow my truck out of there.The woman I spoke to in the office was kind and when I got there I had no problems.

While in the Turnpike’s Pompano Service Area and pumping gas, my crafty little dog managed to activate the door locks, leaving me outside with nothing more than a credit card. It was pretty unnerving and it took me a good minute to collect my thoughts. Looking around I noticed a large tow truck approaching a nearby lot and flagged it down. I explained my predicament to the driver and minutes later he had the door open and I was reunited with my smiling dog (whod also somehow managed to turn the music up loud!) I’m grateful that an Emerald Transportation truck was in the right place at the right time, specifically to Adam, whose good attitude and assistance had us swiftly on our way.

Other than a very bad car accident, Emerald Towing Company and staff are pleasant to deal with. Courtesy and Professionalism. Alex was very helpful, down to earth and respectful. Definitely an A+ Business.

Havent seen the bill yet but they are very friendly from tow truck drivers, office and yard crew. They helped me recover my new Ram 2500 after it slid on algae down boat ramp at Pioneer Park, dont ever go to that launch site they dont maintain them at all. Vehicle is totaled but they saved my trailer, jet ski and was able to recover some stuff from inside.

Very nice group. Our car was towed here after a medical incident. They do charge a daily fee so make sure to get it picked up as soon as possible.

My car was towed by this company over the weekend from the front of my building. When we called Monday for the charges we were informed of the price, working for a towing company myself I knew it didnt sound right. The driver who towed our vehicle tacked on a fee claiming to pull it out of a ditch, the front of our complex where the car was parked is flat. So, we didnt understand why we had that fee, that was until we picked up our car. The front bumper was nearly ripped off and the radiator cracked! Also our car no longer locks into park and our key is stuck in the ignition. Our car was 100% fine when we parked it in the grass of our complex. We were parked there in the first place because there are signs posted, throughout the buildings on all the doors, that there was going to be roofing work done. When they do roofing work we are directed by HOA to park out front. After paying $400 to get our wrongfully towed car out we now have to pay another $700 to fix the radiator. We will be taking legal actions in this matter if the towing company doesnt pay for all the damages they have done to our car. Still waiting on them to call us back about the matter and its now been two days. The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude. However, the man who answered and helped us when we came in was very well mannered and kind.

Police called them sunday march 1st, 2020 after 3 am to have my car towed being that i had no knowledge of my license being suspended, i understood procedures, so no biggie, however when i called emerald to ask about the how they come up with the total of 309.00 for my car that was there for one day, they could not explain the break down, i have no problem paying but if i dont know what im paying for i have a issue with that. I told the young lady on the phone that i spoke with someone else who stated your storage fees are 28 per day, so i wanted to know what is the mileage fee [per mile of the tow which was 3.7 miles, she could not answer that question, it helps to be honest with customers and to be very knowledgeable of pricing per mile. 309 for one day with the 3.7 miles of tow, imagine 2 days, 3 days, itll probably cost thousands for by the third day smh. So i get here, they damaged my back bumper and ransacked my entire car. I filed a complaint. But im not stopping there im taking it further to small claims court. I believe the driver who picked up my car did it before he brought it to the tow yard being he know there are cameras every where. Also they stole my bank card and air pods that i kept in my glove department that night to avoid lost. They had on the paper work that i was arrested. I was never arrested smh.

Adam really took care of me when I broke down on the turnpike today. He went out of his way to take care of me of get me where I had to go without charging me an arm and a leg. Emerald Towing recently towed me from an accident scene as well as the other 2 cars involved. Both drivers that showed up were friendly and worked efficiently to get all the cars loaded. My visit to the yard to collect items from my car was hassle free. The man in the front office and the man that took me to my car were very helpful and courteous. I would use them again if needed.

Not even worth 1 star. Called to get a price to tow a car 22 miles and was told it would be $275! These guys must be driving gold-plated, cashmere lined tow trucks!!! Got it done better and cheaper ($125 + $25 tip) by a more reputable company. Dont waste your time with these guys.

Got into an accident the other day a gentleman by the name of Alex was extremely helpful gave me a ride home at no charge what so ever. The professionalism of this company is Beyond explanation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is needing towing service.

This company is HORRIBLE. Showed up randomly at the scene of a bad accident I was in and loaded my car onto their truck without my permission. When I told the driver wait, how much is this going to cost?! he told me Dont worry, its covered under your insurance. I said I dont have towing on my insurance! and he said Youre fine, itll be free, dont worry.A day later, I go to pick up my car, and they say I owe them $165 for the tow. I am a young woman, and was intimidated by them, so I had my Dad call. They then told him, after he complained, that I actually owed $250 not $160 - a processing fee, aka a you complained so you pay more fee. When I showed up to pick up my car, they ended up charging me $280.They stole my car and held it for ransom, basically. They would not even allow me to access the vehicle to remove my personal belongings (including electronics, which would be ruined if left in the heat) unless I paid their exorbitant fee.TL;DR - if you see an Emerald Towing truck headed your way at an accident do NOT let them load up your car. Theyll take it without your permission and hold it hostage for an insane amount of money.

Alex was so kind to me and my children; we were stranded after an accident and he gave us a ride home- (which was nearly 20 miles away)! He wouldn’t except a tip or anything. When you have just been in an accident all you want is someone to care of you and your car. The compassion that the driver showed me made a bad situation seem comfortable. Had a really good experience with Emerald. The removed my orange Lexus RC F from a accident on Friday. On Saturday morning I went to get personal belongings from the car. The office staff was very professional and nice. The gentleman that took me and my son to get my belongings out of the wreck was also professional and helpful. I will never use another tow company! This is already starting off bad. How do you not have someone available in the office on a Sunday? You tow 24 hours a day. Your office should be staffed 7 days a week. My car was stolen from West Palm Beach and I came there on the Tri Rail only to be told the office opens at 8 am Monday. Are you serious? I will be writing a letter to the commissioners about this. I hear you on the hours, there is NO WAY I SHOULD BE CHARGED STORAGE FEES FOR THE TIMES I CANNOT GET TO MY CAR BECAUSE OF A CLOSED OFFICE. Other than that you guys were cool. Still if Broward County has entered into a contract with you, you should have that office staffed 7 days a week for at least 6 hours. Forget the regulations... I paid another 56 that I should not have because yall were closed.

Ohmigod, sweetest old man ever, Sandy! Got into an accident this morning and the police called the company, I expected the driver to be rude and abrasive as with my past experience with towing company employees but Sandy was the most helpful, kind hearted employee! He offered me information and advice and let me ride with him as he took my car home.My mother-in-law gave him such a hard time about the price she paid to get my vehicle released and I was put in a difficult position of defending him or ganging up, because even though she helped me to pay right away, I know he does not set the price. When I apologized to him for her complaining he responded completely understanding, calm gentle and thoughtful. Sandy’s behavior was a refuge during my crisis.4 stars only because the price was absolutely outrageous but I do believe that part of this is due to city laws so I’m not too mad. 🙂

I see other reviews mentioning compassion and understanding on behalf of the employees at this business. Good luck getting anything even close to that if youre under 25. As soon as I walked in there, the demeanor of everyone in the room changed to that of disgust and hatred, I would assume because they thought I was there because I wrecked my car street racing or something equally distasteful (because young male = reckless driver).Just know, emerald towing, I did not choose to have my car destroyed by another vehicle, and I definitely did not choose to have you bloodsucking insects come to take my car. I absolutely abhorred every second I had to do business with you and will never willingly make the mistake of calling you when I need my cars towed.
