I made an appointment but waited a bit to be served. The oil change took about an hour which sounded like a long time to wait. It very well could be they dont have enough workers. Nothing was mentioned why it took so long. They did a good job. People were friendly and helpful. So perhaps give them a chance.

I went in to get a nail in my tire plugged and after they inspected it, deemed the tire unrepairable. Fine, it happens. They asked if I wanted the flat tire filled with air and put back on or have the spare put on. I told them the spare would be fine. Cost was not discussed during any of this, and maybe that is on me, but I was then handed a bill for $38. I normally pay $20 for this service so it seemed high especially considering the tire wasnt able to be fixed. Ill stick with my usual shop from now on.

Jim is able to solve problems that no one else is able to solve. I always have a better experience with the owner of the business doing the work for me. It’s more personal and there’s a lot more attention to detail. It’s like having my own private mechanic. I stay away from corporate businesses.

I was looking for an honest mechanic close by after the owner left and someone else managed the shop. The previous owner never tried to upsell me anything and was totally honest. I came upon a Groupon when I needed by oil change and thought Id try this place. WAS I SURPRISED!! The owner was very nice and totally honest and didnt try to upcharge me at all. Which I used to get all the time, especially as a woman going there alone because my fiance was out of town! I totally recommend this place!

I got a Groupon for synthetic oil change in the mail. So I took my Nissan pickup truck to this place. The oil change took 2& ahalf hours. The owner Jim was rude.Then he showed me fresh oil leaking from both valve covers and said that they were going to fix it. I said no.& I just got the motor steam cleaned and had my own honest mechanic check it out. Everything is fine. He lied.his mechanic was also very rude. ..This place is like a bait and switch. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE....

These guys took my car in and did their magic on it insurance tried to total my car due to a couple of parts broken from a accident and 1 week later these guys had my car up and running again like nothing never happened I highly highly recommend this shop to everyone!!!!

I had a nail in my wife’s car tire. I went to a tire place and recommended the same thing. Banner was slightly lower. They also treated my nicer and delivered better than promised. They not only got me the exact tire i needed and changed it for me, they also checked all the other tires and inflated them to correct pressures for me. I was expecting to do that myself afterwards at a gas station. I have had tires changed many times before but never had anyone do more than asked for before. It was a nice change. Recommend them .

Called asked about oil change for $20 they said bring it over changed it to $50 when I got there. You knew my car and you knew my oil needed over the phone, update your customers before they get there and save everyones time.

I have been bringing my car to Jim at Banner Tire going on six years. My Dad recommended him after going to Banner himself. My cars not all that but its important to run well so I can take care of my 91yo Dad. I came in today because everyone said I needed a new transmission (and also the light came on). I figured here goes another grand or 2. Well it was the transmission and Jim had it about 2hours just doing a refresher on some transmission stuff and I left paying way less for the refreshment, (obviously I am not a car person, so these terms show you that). In real terms today Jim could havegotten me for that grand or two and I would have left Banner Tire happy my car was fixed. Its Jims down to earth explanations and honesty that will always have me coming back to him with any future problems with my car. THANKS JIM AT BANNER TIRES!! YOURE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!

I have never felt so disrespected when dealing with a mechanic. I needed an simple oil change and was running late, I was driving out of my way to see them because I was told they would be kind and helpful. I was shocked to have been treated with in a short dismissive manner. Not only were the 2 men who answered my phone call inflexible with me and extremely rude. When I called to express how disrespected I felt I was treated the man proceeded to talk over me and put me on hold while I was talking when somebody returned to the line that man hung up on me. As a woman it is especially stressful finding a place to get cat work done where you feel comfortable, and this place most definitely is not it. This is not the way a customer should be treated ever. Do not take your vehicle to be worked on here unless you want to feel like your business is not appreciated and you want to be treated as if you dont matter.

Best service in South Florida. My sons and I wouldnt trust our cars. Toyota Coral Springs tried to get me to pay over$2000 to repair air conditioner that was found to be a wire loose cost $50.

Really nice people. I came in to replace my valve covered gasket and get new tires. While doing the job they noticed something that needed crucial fixing. They stayed after hours to make sure I got what I needed fixed. They even saved all of the deteriorating pieces to show me I wasnt getting ripped off. Very nice people, reasonable prices.

I came in to get a get an oil leak fixed and it was done with no problem. They even showed me where the leak was coming from and what to look for if my car starts leaking again. It was a big job and there was a long wait time but with the friendly environment the time flew by like it was nothing. I would definitely recommend this shop for big and small jobs. Best auto service in South Florida. Toyato dealer quoted over $ 2000 to repair air condition when he found a wire loose for $50 using same diagnostic system dealer used that showed loose wire. Dealer refunded me the $125 charged for diagnosis they used.2nd time got 2nd visit normal checkup excellent service

This was the second time I was here. The first time they said I needed a air filter that was only 7 months old. The second time I went in for a tire rotation and they said my brakes were bad and wont last a couple of weeks I told him no thanks. That was about 2 weeks ago. Today I bought new rotors and pads when I took my wheels off I had 50% left on all my pads. Before you say yes to breaks ask to go back and Physically look at your break pads. This will be the last time I use Banner Tire.

First i made my apt for 10. My boyfriend went there and they told him it was for 9. No it wasnt. I would never schedule before 10 and i said it many times. They made us bring it back the next day. Then i had a groupon that included scanning of the system and tire rotation. They refuse to do either, saying it wasnt part of the package it was extra even though it clearly stated it was. Then they would not take credit over the phone for the extra quarts of oil it would take. Because i was at work and my boyfriend was doing this for me. They made him leave again to drive all the way to my work for more money then made him wait over 3 hours. Worse experience ever, will never go back, do not recommend, poor customer service, save your money and your time and go somewhere else !

These guys are rip-offs. I took my car there years ago when my car overheated. He said the head gaskets could possibly be blown but I went ahead and did $800 repair to fix the problem that he thought it was. Gave me my car back and as I was driving down 95 to go back home my car overheated once again. They told the car back to the shop and he wanted to charge me $1,600 to fix the head gasket. I did not have the money as I was a young man at the time and money was tight. When I got home I found out after looking over my engine that he had unplugged the fan and never plugged it back in which caused my car to overheat and he would not face up to the responsibility of this. I will never ever recommend anyone or take my car this place ever. Stay away
