Awfullll service!!!! I had to callthem more than 5 times to get a quote and took them 2 days to send an email without a call back, explaining the process or anything! Just an horrible service specially from Christopher Mercado ! This place is a joke and a waste of time!

I have been in the insurance world for a good portion of my life and so far have never worked with a staff as professional as Furman. The Furman team is constantly doing what they can to create an ease of business for their clients.

When my health insurance plan renewed this year I received a brochure advising to call my agent Frank H Furman Inc. if I would like to choose a different plan. I decided to call them to review some options for plans with additional coverage rather than call the company directly thinking I would get better service through my local agent. When I first called the office, I gave the girl my name and number for her to look me up in the system, the call disconnected and they did not call me back. About a week later I called again and a girl there told me that she would give my info to one of her associates to call me back. He called me back and I explained what I needed. He sounded like he had no interest in assisting me, his tone of voice implied that I was being a burden. He said he would TRY to find my file and would call me back. I knew after we hung up that I would never hear back from him, and I didnt. I ended up calling the company directly for different plan options and was assisted with only one call. Needless to say, I am finding another servicing agent for future assistance.

I have a medium size business and Carlos has been a real help to our company with liability insurance. We were so impressed that we also moved our health insurance with them.

We were trying to get Home Owners Insurance for a new home being purchased.After the initial call we were referred to Nicole. Nicole was e-mailed the details of the coverage provided as well as copies of documentation from the recent Home Owners Inspection including wind mitigation and such.After the initial contact we didnt hear anything back for over 72 hours. When we called back we were told that Nicole was off but the operator would find someone else.No introduction by the receptionist or the new agent. Overall just found the agency unprofessional and unresponsive.That said, they do represent Florida Family which is still the Home Owners Insurance provider that we ended up getting through another agency so if youre local to Pompano Beach and you are just casually looking without any kind of time constraints then the Furman agency might be useful for you.

Have been with this insurance company for 7 years. This year they raised my rates $500 and have not answered my request for condo insurance for over 3 weeks. Very unmotivated staff.
