Took my scooter in for a service in to Kens and was told depending on what was going on itd be between $200-300. They stated it would take 2-3 weeks as it was during the busy season which is understandable, I had no big expectations on time frame. After 4 weeks I called to check in and the lady said it was next. Me being patient waited... And waited... Called again 2 weeks later the lady said the scooter is in bad shape, if it needs a new battery are you good to replace that? I said yes. Another 2 weeks go by they finally make the first call to me and say the scooter is ready to pick up. 8 weeks total. When I get there to pick it up they charge me $394 which I wouldnt be so upset about if they had called me even once to discuss the extra work needed done. But thats not all... As Im going to start it and take it away the worker said it actually needs a new starter and it would be another $30 because it may or may not burn out your starter system when you drive it and that it just started happening today probably because of the rain storm the other day. I usually keep my scooter in the garage so apparently its just a risk to take them anywhere as they sit open to the elements not covered. Needless to say I wont be recommending them to anyone. Im sure others have had better experiences but Im underwhelmed.
Took a four wheeler in to be rebuilt. Ken was very friendly went through the machine with me after it was completed. I couldnt be any more satisfied. Highly recommended 👌
Great customer service and they did great work on my 4 wheeler
Great price. Good service.
By far some of best customer service I have had on Pocatello. If you are looking for a quality mower thid should be your first stop.
Great service even after making your purchase they continue to provide good service and repairs.
Buyer beware! Please avoid this place if you want to avoid bad service, over pricing and horrible customer service. Where to start with Kens?We first took our Craftsman ride a mower for a complete tune up before the spring season. Kens had it for months before it was completed. We then picked it up thinking it was complete and paid the (expensive) bill. When we went to use it, Kens had failed to actually put a belt on the drive. I then had to return to Kens, which is about 40 miles from my home. They said that they had noticed the existing belt was the wrong size but just left it without replacing it with a proper belt. Youd think a complete yearly check up would come with a new belt, no. They didnt even mention that the mower was being returned without a belt.Secondly, I should have learned from my first bad experience. We took our rototiller to have the engine checked and they told us the motor seized so we decided not to have it replaced. We then received a call from Kens saying to come pick it up. When I did go to pick it up, they said they had thrown the 700.00 tiller in the trash because I wasnt prompt enough. A phone call telling me they were going to toss the tiller? NO! Just, sorry, we through it out. The motor was dead but the rest of the tiller was like new. Please avoid this place if you want to avoid bad service, over pricing and a blatant disregard for the customer.
Bought a new mower from Ken and I couldnt be happier to purchase from them. Ken and Shirley went above and beyond anything I expected and were very helpful through the whole buying process. Ken and Dakota are very knowledgeable of the products they sell and went over every inch of my new machine with me before loading it up and bringing it home. I highly recommend buying from them and will be back for future purchases for my business!
Ken has always gotten my equipment done on time. Once the equipment is done I havent had any issues on the work.
They repair almost any small engine issue. Ken is very knowledgeable and tells you the issue before repairing.
So sad that nothing is being done about the trees laying on homes. It has been left up to the community to figure it out. Its been devastating both financially and emotionally.
Took my lawnmower in, Dakota knew what was wrong as soon as I dropped it off. They were busy but it was worth the wait. They called me to keep me updated and it was ready when they said it would be and running great. I would take anything I need repaired to them without hesitation. Im always happy with the very best!
Wow! They fixed my craftsman riding mower/snowblower that I thought was destroyed. Heck, the thing caught on fire, literally. They fixed the problem and restored the engine back to new. A new machine would have been over $4000, and I was out the door for hardly anything. They then spent several minutes going over everything they did(they went through the whole motor!), and then went out and showed me. I could not be happier with my experience. I think it is really awesome we have someone like Ken and Dakota in town to help with small engine issues. They are incredible knowledgeable and sincerely helpful. My machine has never ran so well!
We purchased a Big Dog lawn mower from Kens Rec World today. I was SUPER impress with the level of expertise and knowledge the staff had. I love to be taught about a product, no sold on the product. Ken was a great teacher and provided me the knowledge to make an educated, informed decision. Thanks so MUCH, and I look forward to continued business.
Very helpful got equipment in right away, and had a quick return.
I was recd to Kens by a friend.. good call! I took in my older K-Pro mower as it started surging and then wouldnt run. At Kens, we agreed on a mower service, carb cleaning and a 10-day wait period.Got the call before the 10-days, price was slightly higher (new blade- mine was shot) and just fired it up at home.. shes running like a champ and belies her age.Only Jesus gets a 5 rating from me- so a 4+ is what I rate Kens Rec World.
Great place to take your snowmachines to get repairs done. The first time we brought them in we had no problems, except someone didnt tighten the spark plugs. The machine wasnt working properly after that. We took it back and they fixed it free of charge had us ready to ride again the next day. I would definitely recommend these guys they did an awesome job.
If I could give zero stars I would. They don’t stand behind their work. We took our mower to be serviced there and weren’t able to even mow our lawn because it didn’t work and had to take it in again. They said they would fix it for free but I showed up and they charged me for another part that I had already paid and replaced in the service along with extra labor and freight for a small mower belt. Not only were they dishonest in stating they did work they didn’t but was offensive and rude when I was upset about the extra charges that I had not authorized. I will never recommend this place or go back.
The best at small engines great guy
Took a bike in, in July said it would be 3 weeks out got it back in November. Rode it had problems took it back in November got it back in February was winter didn’t ride it. Than took it out April 9th quarter mile down the rode it blew up. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone wanting a positive outcome.
Friendly service quality work
Helped me troubleshoot my trailer lights a d didnt charge for the 15 minutes it took either!
Very helpful, explained every repair and priced fairly.

I had taken my 4-wheeler there to be repaired and they said they were 2 weeks out and I said that was fine, 5 weeks later they still hadnt touched it. I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!!!
