This is NOT the Unemployment office! This is the Employment office/job service. Completely different!!!!!!

I have been calling for one and a half months now. I have uploaded all documentation before even being asked so that it was readily available. I have never spoken with a person. I have made 86 calls to the original unemployment number. They then changed their number, which is actually being outsourced to a different state. I called the new number over 100 times, finally got a girl, clearly outsourced. Was told to call back tomorrow during business hours because I need a claims specialist to speak to and the claims specialist are not taking phone calls today so they could focus on claims. Then tells me my claim is held up because of a claim I made in 2016, I never made an unemployment claim in 2016. I tried to explain this but it was talking to a wall. So I finally get someone, incompetent, outsourced, and get told theres no one I could talk to. You wait on hold for an hour then it automatically hangs up on you and tells you to call back during business hours. You basically sit and do that over and over and over. Forget chat, chat consistently says that its not business hours. Sadly this experience reflects how everything is in Idaho. Ive never lived in such a backwards, unprofessional, uneducated State. I hope I dont have to live here much longer.

They never make it fast or easy...Like we are not already leading the whole developed world in access to paid vacations or affordable healthcare benefits or job security/workers rights...Oh ...well...it is what it is...

150+ phone calls. Zero returned. Multiple chat attempts. Zero return. The people need you. What are you doing.

They were very helpful. It is by appointment, 45 minutes, but if you need more time they are more than willing. Thanks.

So after 3 calls all of which hold time was 30 mins plus i called again to complain because it seems that either their phone service is shotty, unlikely, or their CSRs are intentionally hanging up on people. I didnt get upset until the last time in which I explained the previous calls and asked to be transfered to a supervisor to report the issue. He placed me on hold, after about two mins the line just hung up....and again that was after a 40 min hold. You guys act as if youre doing us a favor or something and youre not. And Im sure this isnt the first time, I just happen to be more vocal. You have a pandemic going on out here. Now is not the time for you guys to be playing games when peoples lives are at stake. And please i dont need some apology posted here about who to contact. How about you guys step it tf up!

I always call in the mornings and I am never on hold longer then 10 minutes. Every person I have talked to has always been super help full. They are very Professional and if they dont have an answer they send me to someone who does.

Only one person there to help you. Theyre rude and not helpful at all. It doesnt matter what the issue is, its always the applicants fault.

Have a real person on the line when trying to call. Just getting the run around. Very nerve racking.

I have been trying to call for weeks and they say to call back during Business hours but isn’t 12:07 PM a business hour? On the website it says 8am to 5pm

Been trying for the last three days to contact someone, on hold 5-6 hours and getting kicked off after each hour only to try back, kicked off chat 5-6 timesI can’t understand how with all this going on they don’t have more staff to answer calls or chatsIt’s like they don’t want people to file

They are the worst! Will always take the employers side, even when the employer is in the wrong. This department is useless and a waste of the budget.

Every one is super nice and help full, but I find it un professional that the secretary was using a work phone for a personal phone call for well over an hour and had people wait for her to be done talking for a moment to answer questions.
