Our tenant decided to burn candles during an overnight, planned power outage resulting in extensive damage to the home. The tenant was very uncooperative (and that is putting it mildly) about the removal of the contents in order for cleanup and restoration to proceed. If it had not been for Darren Wests tenacity and caring character we would still be in a legal battle with the tenant. Thank you, Darren West, you went way beyond what was expected of you and we are forever grateful.

I called in the middle of the night with a water heater leakage problem. The technicians were responsive in getting on the problem quickly and efficiently to prevent more damge from happening. They were friendly, professional, and reasonable. Thank you guys!

I really want to like these guys, but my story needs to be told!Back on Sept 07 of last year one of our trees was blown over in that massive wind storm we had.Because we had used them several years ago (and was completely satisfied), we gave them the call - and they quickly responded to the power outage / electrical service damage the tree caused.My point of frustration with them is their absolute refusal to come back and complete the damage repairs to our workshop building.Since last September, I have called them and the assigned Project Manager Craig 19 times for a status or path forward - that is TOTALLY unprofessional!

Idaho Fire and Flood was wonderful to work for. We had a chimney fire that caused a lot more damage than I realized. I originally thought about doing the work myself but I am so glad that I decided to utilize these guys. They were extremely professional and kept me up to date throughout the process. They were always on time which is a big thing for me. My insurance company tried to deny some of the needed repairs and Idaho Fire and Flood went to bat for me and convinced them to do the right thing. The work they did was exceptional. They addressed all of my concerns and made sure I understood entire process. I highly recommend this company.

The kind, caring, and expert service that the team at Idaho Fire and Flood has performed following a major house fire in our elderly parents home has been remarkable. The work they did on content removal, packing, boxing, restoring, discarding, cleaning, deodorizing, ozone treating, and coordinating with us in an accommodating and professional manner throughout the entire process has been wonderful. We are also delighted with the structural cleaning and mitigation work that has been done and the design and restoration rebuild work that is in process. The professionals there are great to work with and go the extra mile. We are very grateful for the tremendous burden that they have eased for us in recovering from this tragedy. This company has far exceeded our expectations.

The lady I spoke with was very friendly and informative. She was able to answer all my questions and direct me to the right people. I never did use your services though. I needed some surveying done and you guys popped up. But like I said I was helped and sent in the right direction.

Joel did a great job on our damaged drywall replacement and also routing some speaker wires for us.

They did really good work helping us with leak we had in our basement. The only complaint I had was the communication between the teams and with me could have been better. Each team that came in didnt seem to know what the previous people had done. So it resulted in the work taking a little longer. Also, they didnt always keep me updated on when to expect the next set of workers. I usually had to call and request that information. Both of those things are not a huge deal. But thats the only reason I didnt give them five stars.

I also would give a negative star if I could. Upstairs Tenant flooded the apartment several times. They removed the kitchens in 2 units and then nothing. Left my down stairs renter without a kitchen. He had no stove and his fridge was in the living room for almost 6 months. I had to threaten to fire them to get it finished. They pulled my cast iron tub out of the bathroom along with the tile tub surround. Installed a plastic tub and the 3 piece tub surround (the kind you glue to the wall) they told the owner that I oked it. Ask another contractor about them. Many will no longer work for him. From my e xxv experience he subcontracts the restoration but does the mitigation in house.

We have worked with Idaho Fire & Flood on a few different occasions, and we are always so pleased with them and their employees. Our most recent event we had our bathroom torn out which left us with a small bathroom for the whole family. We had a death in the family and I called them on a Wednesday asking if there was any way we could have the other bathroom operational for a large amount of guests to arrive on Friday. They all worked to make that happen for us. While it would have been manageable, they went the extra mile for our family to make us comfortable and to accommodate our guests. Thank you!!

I had the chance to work with Idaho Fire & Flood through an insurance claim after a hail storm. They were quick to drive over an hour to my home and give me an estimate. Mistie worked with my insurance to get them everything I needed to get our siding fixed and made things very easy on me. I would work with them again without any hesitation!

Mason was very responsive to my phone calls.Mason’s team of professionals were able to answer our questions and get our flooring replaced and house painted in a timely manner. Craig Perkins is a foreman and was one of the contractors that framed my house. It was nice to have his expertise in getting my house restored again. We have had two major floods in our new home. Idaho Fire and Flood Restoration have been AWESOME. Eight days after we purchased our new home the upstairs water line broke and flooded the center of our home. Idaho Fire and Flood showed up with the hour and worked all day getting the water out. Then took care of all repairs to our home. Insurance was happy, we are very happy.Then this January, One year later, when the temperature fell to 19 degrees below zero, our main water line broke and flooded our entire basement. Idaho Fire and Flood was at our home and sucking the water out within the hour. Carson and his team have worked so hard to get our home back to the way it was and we love their work. ITELL EVERYONE WHO ASKS THAT IDAHO FIRE AND FLOOD RESTORATION IS THE COMPANY TO CALL IN AN EMERGENCY.I WILL GLADLY VOUCH FOR THEIR INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM.

We had a flooding issue and hired Idaho fire and flood. We were very impressed from start to finish. They did their job in a timely manner. Every time we were ready for the next step they were here the next day or two. Mason worked well with us doing some of our own work to offset deductible costs and paying for extra carpet that wasnt under insurance. They were all very easy to work with and we are so happy with the work they did. We would recommend Idaho fire and flood to anyone.

This is one of those businesses whose sole purpose for existing is to convince you that you need their business, but you dont. So its basically a scam. Theyre not experts at any one thing, most their employees have no experience doing whatever it is they are doing. Im convinced that the term smoke damage is mostly made up to get people to spend thousands of dollars for something thats in their head. Im sure this business is occasionally helpful for things like cleaning carpets or replacing roofs, but if youre needing someone to fix something thats really broken, call a better business that actually specializes in that one thing.

I SECOND everything that Meagan Harris said!! I had to call them to remove the lock box off my front door months after I told them I didnt want them back in my house. The mitigation was wonderful, would absolutely hire them again. The restoration.... NEVER AGAIN. I have four different paints on the walls, the paint trim work is terrible, the bullnose on my stairs continues to pop off, the laminate flooring wasnt measured correctly and it was filled with caulking to hide the gaps.... Not to mention the toilet wasnt fully installed! Need I go on. This went on for 12 months! If I could post pics, I would. Extremely frustrating

Used these folks to resolve an issue. They are excellent. The stress of having to deal with any sort of damage was completely removed and effortless. I would recommend reaching out to them without any reservation.

If there was a minus 20, that is what Id give them!!!! The job was to up water damage and mold in a bathroom.and adjacent laundry room wall. They cut our furnace wire, broke the water line which flooded the bathroom again and got water in the duct work and cross-over tube. They would kept pushing us off for other jobs, and brought us the wrong tub twice even though we gave them the bar code!! After 9 weeks and a gutted bathroom and laundry room, we fired them and have worked on it all ourselves. Today we just discovered that they put sheetrock over an exterior wall in the laundry room WITHOUT INSULATING IT! Now we have to take the sheetrock back off and insulate the wall.

If there were a negative star I would have used it. We had to go to court with them over damages that they caused. I hired them because I was friends with the owners. Not only did they lie and their employees steal I lost a couple friendships over this. BTW if you have to go to court with them their lawyer is very good at making you do so much work and cost you so much you will settle for anything that they determine is fair. I did a lot of the work they were paid for because they didnt have the skills and wouldnt show up on the job for weeks at a time. MAKE SURE YOU NAIL THEM DOWN ON A TIME FRAME 4-6 weeks became 5 months. Never been treated worse by any company in my life!! I dont usually write negative responses but this is left as a WARNING to anyone considering using them.

The best, more profession people to call on one of your worst days. Came to my house in the middle of the night to get my problems fixed as soon as possible. Courteous staff...I cant recommend high enough...if I could give them 6 stars I would.

They replaced our front wall and roof due to a leak that caused mold. It took longer than expected, because of insurance. They addressed all our concerns. We asked about side jobs (gutters and painting the entire room a different color instead of just the 1 wall, you know while they are right there) it took them a while to get back to us/ we had to ask 3 or 4 times and their prices were way higher than independent contractors. They also broke a few things and didn’t tell us or do anything about it. We found them later.

We had a great experience working with this company. After selling our house, it was discovered that we had mold in our basement. This company worked very hard to make sure we were able to close without any delays. They kept us informed every day of what they were doing and they kept to the schedule. This company will do it all, from boxing everything up to the finishing touches. They were very helpful during our very stressful time. We couldnt have asked for nicer people to work with.

They did an amazing job helping us out after we had a flood in the basement. Went above and beyond to make sure that the problem was taken care of, and they even worked with us to find a way keep the costs low!

I read the reviews, but thought ok well I will give them a try since our insurance agent recommended them. Mitigation was ok. Claims and repairs things started to go south. I never received paperwork on the claims from this company, I had to ask my adjuster for the submitted claims, the amount was super high. This raised red flags for us so then I began asking questions about the claim to their senior project manager Bret whom back peddled, blew us off, said we were missing paperwork lots of excuses. The weeks previous during mitigation Bret said they would pull a few tiles to check for the slight water damages (there wouldnt have been much), but when I came home found the entire tile floor gone I was confused, there wasnt enough water to justify the whole kitchen being torn out and if they would have communicated their removal of the entire floor, we would have stopped them. They would have found out we had a box of spare tiles available to replace the few they should have pulled, we just were in the dry out phase at that point.Yesterday 3-5-19 we fired them. After we fired them our insurance adjuster informed us they have had problems with the repairs portion lately, submitting high claims and and placing more than whats needed on the claim for more pay out for their company. Our agent didnt know this. Customer beware make sure you are looking out for yourself and your best interests. Dont let them milk you and your insurance company because you will foot the bill in the long run with higher premiums! When we called to fire them he said how professional they were and his bids were correct etc...actions speak louder than words. They are really nice, workers are great, but beware of the wolf in sheeps clothing. Glad we stopped ours from going further.

The mitigation guys were great, this review has nothing to do with them. If I ever needed mitigation again, I would use them. BUT the restoration is a complete disaster. It has taken 3 weeks to lay flooring in my kitchen and theyre still not done. The contractors have done a TERRIBLE job on everything. It looks awful and at this point Im so tired of pointing out all of the bs things they are trying to pass as acceptable, that I just want them OUT OF MY HOUSE. DO NOT USE!!!!

Discovered a hot water leak @ 4:00 AM. Called my insurance (USAA) who by 8:00 AM had me in touch with Mason @ Idaho Fire and Flood who said they would respond by 12:30 PM. Consequently I had to cancel them because I found that the leak repair was still under warranty from the pluming company (Cloverdale Plumbing) and they fixed the leak and are taking care of the water damage restoration. Mason and the Idaho Fire and Flood Team were responsive but ultimately I did not need them.
