We have purchased tires from Big O for a long time. Today I went to have a rotation done and had an appointment at 4:30 because we had somewhere to be at 5:00. I was told it would easily be done in 30 minutes when making the appointment. We got there at 4:15 and after not seeing our car taken back for the rotation at 4:50, I asked if it was going to be done in time. The owner basically scoffed and dismissed us saying it would take much longer than 30 minutes to do a tire rotation. There was a young man up front that knew we were waiting and he went out and got our car and did it himself and we left by 5:00. For the front attendant, he deserves a five star review but the owner who represents this establishment help me decide that I will start tire shopping before automatically purchasing with them. Extremely poor customer service on the owners part. Him sitting on the stool the whole time and on his cell phone was more of a priority.

I went to get new tires and they asked if I needed the old disposed. I told them yes but informed them I had a spare on and that the bad tire was in the back. They didnt give me my spare back and left the busted one. They also never called to let me know they were done. I finally went there 4 hours later to see if they were done, and the lady told me she had called me. I told her no; no call, no voicemail. She double checked she had the right number; she did. Then checked her call log and realized she didnt call me.It wouldnt have been such a big deal but they werent polite and didnt even apologize for either mess ups.

We blew two tires on our travel trailer on our way to Island Park and one was our spare. We were a little outside Pocatello so I started calling tire shops. I called Brians Tires first and the guy was very rude, would try to work us in, no promises and then was really short with me when he told me where I could park so I called Big O. They could not have been nicer. The tires didnt cost any more and their service was exceptional. Jacob, Orlando and Marc took excellent care of us and our vacation is back on track! Sure do appreciate the fine folks at Pocatello Big O.

I got 4 new tires, new windshield wipers and an oil change at my first visit, then went back for an alignment. Great service, great prices and the lady at the front is awesome. 10/10

I made an appointment to have 4 tires mounted and balanced. The tires were in the vehicle and I arrived early to check in. Over two and a half hours later my car still isnt finished and no one has said anything to me about what is taking so long. When leaving there was no explanation as to what took so long or any apology for it either.

Big-O was always a pleasure to do business with. Fast friendly service now that Im back in town I will be doing all my tire business with them.

After 3 trips to 2 different big o locations for getting tires balanced and it not working I finally just went to les schwab. Nice people at big os but not great work

Made an appointment for a flat repair. Came on time. Waited 40 minutes. Still no repair done, asked them about it. Said they had not even touched it, but that it was next and could be done in 10 minutes. Told them to forget it, i didnt set an appointment just so i could wait 40 minutes before they started on it. They should have told me when i came, that it would be about an hour. Very poor scheduling on their part. If they could do it in 10 minutes, then they should have done it in the 10 minutes immediately following my appointment time. I was from out of town traveling through too.

Need to pay more attention an more seasoned people who know what there doing instead of horse playing while they were supposed to be doing there job.

It took an hour and 45 min. to rotate tires and an engine oil change. I even had an appointment. Afterward, I am glad that I checked their work. I put the air cleaner box back on before I drove home. I will still be a Big O customer, just not at this location.

Ive been going exclusively to the Big O location in Idaho Falls for years now. I have always felt that they gave the best deals and were very transparent. Today we had the misfortune of blowing a tire away from home and needed a replacement near the Pocatello location. Not only did they squeeze us in same day, Marc helped us weigh all of our options, explained all possible concerns, and ended up sending us out the door for less than half of what was initially quoted. I cannot recommend this place enough. Big O is outstanding. They are honest and trustworthy even to a possible loss of sales profit. Thanks, guys.

ZERO STARS! Took my vehicle in to get an alignment, they had me waiting there for 40 mins with an appointment. They came back and said I needed to replace both upper control arms and both lower ball joints ($1072) before they could do an alignment. Took my car to my regular shop (they dont do alignments) and he said all of that looks good. No issues with my vehicle. Do not go here, they will take advantage of you!!! Always get a 2nd opinion so crooks like Big O cant weasel money out of your pocket.UPDATE-I did reach out on the contact form that was sent in the owners reply to my review. I filled out that form 11/25/2020 and still havent received a response as of 09/22/2021

Got a flat while driving cross country with our RV. Jake took care of us and he was awesome. Knowledgeable and super personable. He didn’t mind our two super curious boys looking on while he worked, and he chatted with them which made their day. It’s been a week and they’re still talking about “the nice guy who changed the tires.”

I called and made an appointment to just have my car looked at to see why its making a weird noise going over bumps, and Ive been waiting for a VERY long time just to have them look at my car. I wouldnt recommend coming here, I never will again.

Do not take your vehicle here EVER. I took my vehicle in for a flat repair and Someone in that shop took off 16 of my VW caps and would not take responsibility for any of it. You need a special tool to take those off. I have only been to work and home and that shop. My car has been under camera surveillance at all times. I know for a fact all my VW caps were on my vehicle when I pulled in there and missing when I picked up my car. The woman blamed me of lieing and wanting free stuff. I do not expect anything for free snd have worked very hard for what little I have. I was very sick on saterday when I picked up my vehicle as I have cancer and did not notice until I got home and of course they were closed by 9 minutes of me calling to ask where my VW caps were At and of course by Monday they were no where to be found. I am very disappointed in how I was treated and how the situation was handled. You drop your car off and should never ever have to worry about anything missing off your vehicle. If I had known I had to take photographs when I dropped it off I would have done so. Funny I have camera footage leaving my driveway with all my caps on my car right before I dropped it off there. It is sad you can not even trust a tire place to do the right thing. I will pay for my own stuff that got stolen in their care but it is not right. People work hard for what they have. Just beware dropping your vehicle off there. And check your tires before you leave from there to ensure this injustice does not happen to you as well. I do hope whomever ended up with all 16 VW caps enjoy them. I thought that’s what cameras were in place for when things like this happen. Why even have them when you wouldn’t even see what really happened. Let’s ask a theif if they took them, right like they will say yes.

Horrible customer service! Wanted to give them our business by buying tires, brakes, and getting an alignment. The guy who answered the phone seemed too busy to help us. Pretty sure he is the owner. He said he would call us back to set up an appointment and never did. We ended up going elsewhere! Also tried to get an oil change another time and they said they didnt have anyone to do it that day after waiting 15 minutes to be helped or acknowledged. Gave them slack the first time. This second time was the deal breaker. I hope they enjoy losing out on that much money.

My car broke down off the side of the road and all of the guys here were MORE than helpful. Marc and Kaleb helped us out and they couldn’t have been better. They had a great staff that were very knowledgeable and so super nice. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Big O here in Pocatello is awesome! The staff are legendary. They made sure I was taken care of and well informed even with a full house.

Driving for a mini vacation from UT to MT with my mom in law and two young boys and I blew a tire. I was so stressed and completely disappointed with USAA roadside service who took 90 mins to respond only to ruin a lug nut and unable to assist because he couldnt get the lug nuts off. Called 2 other tire places who didnt offer any real help as it was almost closing time. Finally called Big O and I should have right when I blew the tire because they would have saved me all the stress and tears.20 minutes before closing, Lynn the owner, and Jake came to me to see if they can remove the tire. In 15 minutes, Jake had it off and installing the donut spare. I followed them to the shop where they fixed my tire after closing time. To say Im grateful is an understatement. Truly kind and amazing people from, Lynn to Jake, to the cashier. Incredible couple-owned company with amazing and compassionate employees! Thank you Lynn and Jake.

Although the staff was friendly, they made a mistake when putting my tires on which caused extensive damage to my vehicle. They replaced the tire that was ruined but nothing more and wouldnt return my calls. Definitely wont go back.

They’ve always been so good to me! I bought a set of tires about 3 years ago & have gone to them for every alignment, rotation, tire repair, wheel repair, balance, & more! They’re willing to teach & give me sincere advice. Their prices are affordable & they do a great job every time! Honestly love these guys. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would!

Ive never had a problem here. This is a franchise location and the owner is hard working and always there trying to give good service and prices. He has always tried to help me get the best price and I have had tires, bearings, alignments and many other services done here and I am always satisfied with the prices and the work is done well.

Pretty awful customer service. The man at the counter, Marc, was nice enough. However, I waited in line longer than it ever took me in Provo to get my tires rotated. When I finally was served, Marc took two phone calls in the middle of our conversation and continued to help another customer who was off to the side with something.I expressed concern that I had already waited so long, and then he wanted to schedule an appointment...for a routine tire rotation...that has not taken me more than 15 minutes at the most in the past.Ill describe my experience at the State Street Location of Big-O in Provo Utah:I would drive up to the parking lot. Someone immediately came outside; I did not even have to turn my car off. They would take my car back and have it finished by the time I could barely get some popcorn (which I did not see inside this location) and sit down. Then they brought car back around and switched me out driving. I never had to interact with someone at the front desk. On average I waited 10-15 minutes from the time I drove up to the time I drove away. This was consistent with each one of the regular rotations I had; 13 in 5 years.When I told Marc about this, he said Well, if you want it done that quickly then youll have to go back to Provo.So, I will go back to Provo. I didnt schedule an appointment and I never will. My in-laws live in Saint George and I pass through frequently enough that I will never step foot near the Pocatello Big-O again--and I will gladly encourage my friends here to find another place to go.So much for brand consistency. I guess I didnt know how good I had it in Provo.

I called for an estimate for 4 motorhome tires (what is easily over $800.00 with installation). Whoever answered the phone told me he was too busy at the time and he will give me a call back. Obviously I never received a call back so I took my business somewhere else. Maybe more staffing is the solution?

Good service but the afternoon was busy and had a 2 hour wait.

Plugged the nail hole in my tire when other places said it was unfixable and that they could only sell me four new tires. Very reasonable price. Will go back when I actually need tires

I had an issue with my trailer wheel that just had the bearings packed at another store in another state. Marc got me in on Memorial weekend and fixed it within minutes with a half day full of scheduled work. Thank you for a great experience and warranting the work from another store!

Marc got me a great deal on four tires and the lady that works the counter printed me off a copy of my receipt for the $50 rebate and all I had to do was mail it. Great customer service.

Had a terrible experience at Big O tires last week. Had an appointment and two hours in was told they could not do what was planned. Meanwhile people came and went. Wrote a letter to the manager, no response to even say sorry. Wish I didnt have my warranty with them now.

They fixed my tire

Went in for an oil change and they were so busy, I told them I would just make an appointment for the following Friday. The employee took my info and what I wanted done and had me write my name on a sticky note.Friday, i show up for my appointment (1030), the employee couldnt find my name in the book. I reminded him that i wrote my name on a sticky note and he finally found it on another page of the appointment book. Then he asked what I wanted done (I hate repeating myself and watched him type all this in a week before), oil change, check my tire pressure sensor, rotate tires and fix my tail light.3 hours later ( I had the insight to have my husband follow me and take me home) I call, my tires were rotated but the oil has not been changed because the oil change guy had a cold and got behind.5 and a half hours later I called, my tail light was too involved to fix and if they had more time it could have been done (5.5 hours is not enoughtime?!?!), someone was checking my tire pressure sensors and was almost done. I almost turned into a Karen, but I had some restraint and did not ask for the manager. I did chew the employee out, telling him i was late picking up my son from school and my daughter had to pick him up. Unacceptable customer service. I also reminded him why I made the appointment in the first place.Went to pick up my car, paid for the service and went home. Looked in my owners manual and fixed my light in 10 minutes. Will not be going back.

I bought big O tire so that I would have the warranty… I made an appointment to get a flat tire fixed and when I got there they told me it would be a two hour wait even with my appointment! If you have any kind of time schedule I would not go to this location!

Good customer service but it always take forever. 30 mins is actually 2 hours.

Buyer beware. The female manager of the store needs replaced. They sold me one set of tires and ended up putting on a set of cheaper tires. Seemed like a bait and switch, they blamed it on the installers not double checking and inventory being off. When I told her that I wanted the tires I paid for she said that I would be charged $16 per tire for shipping them into the store. That doesnt make any sense to me, because I had purchased them and she told me they were in stock. She then said I couldnt drive around with the current tires on my car because they would then be considered used and they would have to sell them at a discount (I had already driven home and back to the store on the wrong tires). She told me they have to put my old tires back on (which were worn bald and not safe to be re-installed). The owner eventually came out and offered a $50 discount for the mishap. I will not buy tires from them ever again. I will tell anyone I know, not to go to Big O. Terrible customer service and quite shady.

I made my appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 8 AM because I told them I had a final at noon. I asked if they would have it done by 11 at the latest and they ensured me it would be ready. I get a call around 9:30 saying they are just starting my oil change, no big deal could still be done on time, but that I needed new brakes and rotors. They said they were TERRIBLE and needed to be done now. They asked me if I wanted to have them do them and the price. (I knew my brakes weren’t bad so I said no) My car wasn’t done until 12:30. I also had my husband and dad check my brakes and they were perfectly fine. They were trying to take advantage of me because I’m a young girl and they don’t think I know any better. Shame on you all for trying to take advantage of me, not honoring the time you said, and having bad customer service. Will not be returning.

I really appreciate Big O Tires. My tire light went in in my van recently so I stopped by for them to check it. Thankfully, the tires were just a little low. It seems the cold we had recently can cause air to leak out from your tires! Who knew?! Im thankful for how curtious the people are who work there & they checked my tires, filled them up a little & I was on my way!

Marc and his employees did a great job on my new tires and wheels. Had some problems with the sensors but they worked it out. Thanks everyone for doing a great job.

I used to be a very loyal Big O customer and refused to take my vehicles anywhere else but I’m at my breaking point and I am calling it quits. I went in with an appointment and was treated like I had just walked in without one, this isn’t the first time this has happened, it’s one of several it’s just that this one has made me realize that there are better and more friendly places out there that could use my business instead. I was put to the back of the line with everyone else, most of which walked in after I did and had no appointment to begin with. Big O has gone downhill within this past year and I have seriously had enough of the ignorant way their loyal customers are treated. I’m going elsewhere from now on and will never recommend these flaky nonprofessional people to anyone ever again.

I got a flat while visiting Lava Hot Springs and due to the unique size of my tire, no shop had one in stock. Big O was able to order mine the next day and for a much lower price than the other stores. Luckily I was out of there pretty quick and on the road home instead of being stranded in Idaho. Thanks!

Prices are fair, but we showed up at 5:40 (20 mins before close) and a worker ran out and turned off the open sign and locked up. If there wasn’t time, a quick sorry would have worked and we would have completely understood. Locking the door early and in our faces is pretty unprofessional.

I got some of the best service with Big O the other week..I came in late with tires that needed mounted at closing time. The staff was swamped and still got my tires mounted and balanced for me. My sister was looking to buy 4 new tires for her Ford F-150 to get ready for Winter and she got quotes from 2 other locations, so we stopped at Big O Tires to get another quote and she said she would beat the price for the other 2 locations, and BOY DID SHE(my sister) GET AN AWESOME DEAL!!The lady was so sooo nice. I definitely would recommend getting other bids and then buy from Big O Tires. They will beat anyone elses price!💝😄

Took a pickup to get aligned after replacing all the ball joints and steering components. Told us that it needed new ball joints. Great place to shop if you like to be taken advantage of.

I called 3 weeks ago to get quotes, I needed 4 brand new tires, I actually had a cheaper quote from another store, but I was very impressed with the friendly customer service, so today I was finally able to call and make an appointment to get the work done. When the counter person stated that no they did not need to order the tires, they did have them in stock, and could do the work today, I was super impressed! THEN when I told her I couldnt get the car over to them until after 12 on my lunch the person OFFERED to to have someone come and get the car. They quickly came and got my vehicle, and when I stopped by at lunch it wasnt quite done, so they offered to bring it back to me at my work. I TRULY appreciate good customer service, and I definitely will be back!!!

Lost the key to lug nuts. Which wasnt a huge deal because accidents happened but I was extremely upset with how they acted after they lost it. They made no effort to fix their mistake or even help to replace it. just kind of said we cant unlock them so theres nothing we can do about it.

This place is great. I went in to have my headlight replaced, which they did in a short time. I also had a squeaky door, and they fixed it for me. I didnt have to ask, they just did it. They also fixed my cigarette lighter at no extra charge. They are always nice and on time. Thanks for awesome service!

A different Big O Tires made a mistake on my install, and even though they aren’t owned by the same person, this Big O made it right. Good people.

Travelling through and got a flat on the freeway. Put the donut on and called several shops. Most did not care this was an emergency. (3 hour wait, next day, really expensive) They got us in quickly, and did a great job.

I went for an oil change, waited for over an hour, I was not TOLD it was ready, but I watched my keys be returned to the desk, when it was done, no one bothered to tell me anything about what HAD been done, as I have experienced elsewhere in the past. I was NOT given a receipt for payment as the lady at the desk said she had to go to another computer to make one, and acted as if it was too much trouble, told me Its in our system, if you need it. They did not remove the sticker from my previous oil change, just added theirs to my window. The sticker DID NOT reflect the type of oil used, nor the due date / mileage for the next service date. I will not patronize this business nor recommend it.

I never post these kind of things but I had one of the worst experiences. I came in with a metal on metal sound coming from my brakes, which I told them. They told me it would be 30-50 minutes. I said that was not an issue. Two hours later nobody has said anything to me. I walk up to the desk and ask what is going on. The man clearly had known what was going on for a quite a while as he had told me he had already ran a quote yet he hadn’t bothered to let me know. He then leaves mid conversation, without telling me why, to get another employee for something else. He then still is not following up with me as I stand right in front of him. He continues to hand paperwork to the office woman behind us. He then takes a phone call. Finally, he gives me the quote for replacing rear brakes. Today I went to a different Big O, because i was so frustrated with the service. In thirty minutes, they let me know that my calipers were essentially hanging on by a thread and that if this Big O had looked at my brakes, they would have known that. I think I was just told what I wanted to hear so they could get me out of there. The service was terrible, and I don’t think they even looked at my car. I will not be going back.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a tire store. I was there for a total of 4 hours, and my tires were not actually handled until the last forty five minutes. I did not receive any information about what they were doing, and the whole experience felt prolonged.The person who sized my tires sized them incorrectly, and I was not actually told about it until the last hour. I was surprised with a price increase, and a lack of customer care.Easily one of the worst auto shops I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

EXCELLENT customer service. Isabel works so hard and I for one can tell that it has paid off. I got an alignment, tire rod, and both front brakes and rotors done on my car. I was a little skeptical about the alignment, however the team gave me a print out afterwards that showed just how bad my car needed it. Dont brush off their recommendations. I will be returning soon! (But not too soon thanks to Big O!)

The folks here were able to set me up with the tires I needed to get home. It was around Christmas time and they put the new tires on within a few hours and gave me a better price than I could find anywhere else. The tires have been working great and I havent had any more problems on the ice or snow.

But I was there to get my tires rebalanced and rotated on both my cars when I left both cars had the low tire light come on Within 15 miles one reset without a problem and the light went away but in the other car the light wont reset wont go off no matter how many times I try to reset it been told that they must have damaged my tire pressure monitoring system by another location Im very angry I feel like Im being mistreated as a customer in a way to get more business..... Im 500 miles away from home and I cant know if I really have a tire problem or not because the light wont reset or go off and I shouldnt have to pay to fix that face you guys should have to pay to fix that

We just bought 4 new tires for my husbands truck and paid them off so we needed tires for our tahoe. So we bought 4 new tires for 900 but they wouldnt align them because they said our 20012 Tahoe had bad parts underneath and wanted another 600 to fix that. My husband took our vehicle to get a second opinion and none of those parts were bad. Very disappointed with this location. Trying to screw us out of more money, didnt work and u will never get business from me/family/or friends ever again

Tire part is fine.A bit slow,but not too bad overall they get the job done.They also show superior(compared with few other tire places in Pocatello)attention to details.Prices and rebates are very reasonable .Now if you are unable to pay cash up front you better finance your purchase elsewhere(hence only 3 stars).The financial institution they chose to associate with is more than horrible in terms of customer service .If you have a slightest issue(card promissed to arrive via mail in 7-10 days takes longer than month and a half etc.),the customer service is outsourced to 3rd world countries where some illiterate reps fail to answer simpliest of the questions.Not sure why would anyone want to discuss their financial information with people who are not even residing in the same country,therefore can not be subjects to any local laws in case there is a litigation ?

I always go to big o for little things, like lugnuts, getting tires mounted, checking air pressure, etc because theres usually someone there who will knock it out real quick for me, no appointments, and i can hang out til its done. Cooper always goes the extra mile, for example, today i went in for a single lug nut, and he went ahead and torqued all my lug nuts just to make sure i wont lose any more of em. Service is a little slow, but i always get more than i ask for and never have an appointment, so its a worthwhile trade off. Will continue being a customer of Big O

I was traveling from Utah to rigby, Idaho and I was pulling a car hauler trailer with a truck on it and on the way home a trailer tire lost it’s tread so I limped into Pocatello and stopped at Big O. They greeted me promptly found me a tire and got me all taken care of and back on the road in less than 20 minutes. Amazing service I would recommend to everyone!

I have never experienced such bad customer service before, while trying to drop off my vehicle he took 2 phone calls and even told them on phone I do have time to talk while Im standing in front of him, they said it would be 2 hours to change tires and and do an alignment it took 5 hours. They put the wrong size tire on and not on with lettering out as requested. Then when picking up my vehicle he tells me my battery is really bad and if I dont have them replace it I better carry jumper cables, odd I thought no issues previously so I let it go until I went to leave and my battery was completely dead had to be jump started, coincidence Idont think so. Will NEVER buy from BigO tires in Pocatello Idaho again.

I showed up with an appointment to get my alignment done 2 and a half hours later they tell me my truck is done, but they told me they werent able to do it cuz my tie rod was broken so they made me sit there for 2 and a half hours to tell they couldnt do my alignment! Wont be go back there any more.

Always able to take care of my car needs

Ive had several bad experiences with them and my mom. Her being disabled I take care of her car and stuff for her. My last straw hit when I found out they put her snow tires on WRONG! By that I mean we cant even fill the tires up with air because its wrong. How do people who work on tires daily put a set of tires on wrong????? Im baffled.

Only tire shop I will go to in town. They always take care of me and are honest with the work they do

I typically love them! It took 3 tries to get my tire fixed properly.

I actually loved them,I mean there was that huge contrast between how they treated me and how I was treated by 1 other tire place.I was also very pleased with free alignment check and their attention to details 33psi was the required tire pressure and that was exactly what they adjusted tires to.At first I was pretty hesitant since we live far away and making almost 60 mile round trip just to change tires seemed unreasonable,but after that other place failed 4th time in a row it was my only remaining option of getting the tires I want on the day I have time to do it.I got almost $100 total offered in rebates both from Big O and from manufacturer, also Big O offers very decent financing option where if you pay off your balance within 6 months it is interest free.The area of improvement is just the speed of service 1hr 40 minutes, was promissed 1 hr then 20 mins turned into 40 still faster than commtire in Pocatello.Also would be great if they learned what warm transfer is and to take notes if I told 1 rep my tire size I do not want to look it up again etc.But overall very decent and friendly service Fernando did an awesome job as everyone else at this location.Would be nice to see electrical outlets in a waiting area to charge the phone.
