The staff a courtesy has always been a pleasure to work with. The salesman are great, honest guys, and will work there butt off to make your car buying experience easy and not at all stressful. Very disappointed in Ford at Pocatello. We bought a 2016 Ford Explorer less than a year ago and everything had been going well. We drove it down to Utah in August and the steering gave out. Scared to drive it with two littles, I called and asked for advice and we were told, if you feel good driving it drive it, if you dont then dont drive it, but we cant help you until October (this was in August) and they left me hanging. Kept driving and just took back roads thinking we could make it. We ended up in Preston and it completely stopped working. It was after hours at this point so we had to get it towed and figure out someone to pick up our little family. The Preston Ford called us first thing the next day and told us it would at least be two weeks. We called and emailed the Pocatello Ford with no response. We have now been waiting almost 6 weeks for this to be fixed and we have no car while we are making our payments still. The part is back ordered. We are expecting our third child this week and have no car to bring her home in. We have seen no response from the Pocatello Ford and all we ask at this point is just a loaner until it is fixed. We have been very frustrated with no responses.
This is for the service center only. First if you are on the phone and the only advisor in the office. Least acknowledge a person coming in let them know you are on a call. Second, maybe it should be on the website service center page, in bold, that you are by appointment only. Not having to read down the page and its somewhat implied. Also change out the hours listed and put by appointment only. That way you are not wasting my time or the advisors cause clearly he has the speech down.
This was easily the most seamless and least stressful auto purchase Ive ever done. Nick Holly was great to work with from start to finish. I typically dread working with a dealership, but the entire team was awesome. No games or tricks. He talked up front numbers and worked to make sure we were comfortable with the final figures. I will definitely go to Courtesy and Nick when Im ready to purchase again.
The service department at courtesy for really saved my bacon! I was visiting some family in the area and my little Fiesta was struggling with the heat on the trip through Arizona and Nevada. I explained the situation to the guys in the service department and they got me in and fixed my car before I had to drive back to California, and even got me a free car wash at a local spot when they had some issues with their own wash bay. They were prompt, professional, and totally understanding of my unique situation.
Great experience with the service department! Super polit and professional even when busy and went above and beyond getting my vehicle fix. Usually Im not a fan of getting services done at a dealership but10/10 would recommend!
I came to shop for a Ford vehicle and no one even looked at me or gave me the time of day. It is infuriating that they dont want to help a customer out. Their loss

They had our vehicle well over 2 months and couldn’t even find the problem. They service is awful you have to call them, not them calling you. Let alone they didn’t even solve the problem costing us thousands.

We had an amazing experience here! Antwon was the best!! He worked with us and was very patient with our kids that we brought (because we didn’t expect to walk away with a car.) Antwon has the calmest voice and made sure we got exactly what we wanted in a “mom-car”. He made the whole experience super smooth and I don’t have an complaints! I have had to give thought to what I would say here. After all, I could have written an entire article on why I think Antwon is the best car dealer I have ever dealt with and 60 + years of life. First off I asked him if he was honest. He was taken aback a bit, but replied that he like to think that he was. Also, after many car dealerships I cruised through, it was the only one besides one other, who came out to see if he could help us. He spent a couple of hours with this on both Thursday and Friday of last week. I was amazed how easily it was to talk to him, like an old friend. He listened attentively to our needs, our wants, and our conditions. He drove us to another car dealer to see if there was something he could find us there. In the end he matched us perfectly, with all that we were looking for. The amazing thing is he found us a vehicle for a lower price then what we had told him was our limit. How many car dealers do that without trying to talk you up to a bigger price. I think Im going to invite Antwon to a barbecue or something. I purchased a new 2017 F250 about 4 years ago and every time I need to get an appointment for regular service at Courtesy Ford Lincoln its like pulling teeth. The service department never answers my call when Im connected by the initial phone greeter and when I leave a message they never call back. Thank goodness its only once a year. I also have a VW which I need to take to IF for service which can be quite a pain to drive to Idaho Falls but their service department is so much easier to deal with.
So my stepdaughter Crystal Simmons made a post on this site that ford did not like and the owner of courtesy ford and said that they had talked to me and this has been resolved and that was a true statement by the owner so how they resolve this was to tell me i owe them 3100 dollar and to get my truck of there property so thats what we did i payed them there money and that had my truck towed to a shop in idaho falls they completely took the motor apart and wow there was so much metal in the bottom of the pan and in the oil pick up tub it was surprising it even had oil pressure and every part they install has to be replace again plus it has a massive oil leak on the part they replaced so guess what i will be writing reviews every week from now on and every week i will be adding a new picture of what they did this could of been taken care of months ago but i guess they are better than there customers so we will go about this a different why more to this post i guess this is acceptable after i asked for the pan to be removed and the pickup tub checked and pan cleaned so now we will add more this is the oil pump cover that was installed by the way it was brand new and the only run time on this part was at courtesy ford in there garage or lot notice all the wear on the part so the next picture is the front noise of my 6.0 diesel block it was taken to the machine shop and they said there was so much damage to the block that even if they rebuilt it they could not warranty it so they said the best thing to do is throw it in the trash and buy a new block
We have come back to Courtesy Ford again and again because of the great customer service and great prices. Our last buying experience was in August 2020, and a bit tricky not knowing exactly what vehicle we wanted, but just a list of features we were wanting, it was hard to narrow down at first. We bought my 2015 Lincoln MKC from Loren Villano about 3 years ago! The buying process was a great experience! We live 3 1/2 hours away, we called in the morning and we had a fantastic car by that evening! Any time I’m back in Pocatello for a visit Loren gets my car in for service and alignment checks and makes sure my Lincoln is in tip top shape.One thing that stands out over the last three years was a time I had to take my car in where I live. Some spark plugs needed to be changed before I could drive it to Pocatello. They were changed and a couple days later I headed to Poky for a visit. The entire way my car was acting up. I called Loren and he told me to bring it in as soon as I arrived in town. I took it in and explained what was happening. Loren had a rental car ready for me and kept my car so they could fix it. The next day he explained that the spark plugs were done wrong, so they replaced all of them free of charge AND had us reimbursed from the company where they were originally changed! I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our end! THAT is true customer care!Loren Villano is simply the best and we will definitely be back for our car buying and servicing needs!

I do not recommend courtesy Ford service department. I recently took my 2018 Ford F-350 SD in for an oil change. I had it booked a week prior to the appt. My appointment was 12/4/20. In discussion before taking it in I had spoken to a gentleman in the service department about getting a hazy backup camera replaced (under warranty/recall) . He had said yes it was a normal problem for many at this point but they are on back order and trickling in but they would take care of it. I also had asked about warranty-ing a leaky pano roof, and he said they would look into it. At this point I was satisfied . Someone was working with me, listening and taking info.So I take my truck in for the oil change the night before to leave with them on 12/4/20. I left it there for the 8:00 appt. hadn’t heard from them by 2:00pm on an update or status. I call and verify it’s there and that’s when I had started working with a Price Hamilton. They had apparently booked it under someone else, the previous owner and called him to let him know it was done. Frustrating but not the end of the world. So I go to pick it up and they give me the run down that it has an upper oil pan leak (which is a known issue and from what I’ve found from Facebook groups and online forums) a lot of people get this repair fixed under warranty. Some brand new trucks start the leak at 1500 miles. So I had asked about that and they were no help with that issue. I then ask about also the front end and at this point Price had said it would for sure be covered “it’s so new of a truck it’s covered.” Didn’t verify miles prior to that even though they just had it for oil change. So we book another appointment for the next Friday 12/11/20 for the front end to get looked at and fix what needed fixed (steering stabilizers/dampeners).Again, I hadn’t heard all day and dropped it off the night prior for our 10:00am appointment. So I call around 3:30 for an update and get finally get a hold of Price, after no response from email. He beats around the bush and verify it was the outdated front end parts and that now they wouldn’t cover it because of miles. So at this point the service dept is not sticking to their word of saying it was covered. So I was out a truck a day for a pointless diagnostic that was supposed to be a warrantied repair.He then also puts his foot in his mouth and says it was in their a few months prior for all recalls . So I bring it to his attention that the front end should have then been replaced either then or now. As obviously it was missed . Comes up with some excuse as to why they couldn’t, yet again.In the previous email I asked him to check into the camera and figure out who I’d spoken to before . Because that was another issue where they would not honor their word. I also asked to look into the warranty on the oil pan leak and again they got out of that.Price was a friendly customer service representative, however the overall experience was not good. I cannot believe a service dept would weasel out of their words on 2-3 topics in which they guaranteed a warrantable repair.•front end•leaky pano roof•hazy backup camera•upper oil pan leak/weep
How this place sells and maintains Ford vehicles is truly baffling. Let me start with my most recent experience.1. Scheduled a service more than a week out using the online website for a oil change, tire-rotation and recall repairs (4 of them for a $70k plus vehicle).2. Arrived on-time.3. Received a call short time later that some additional warranty work was needed. Pitman arm and tie-rod end. Gave okay to repair.4. Had to call several times to find out if repairs were made and when I could pick the vehicle up.5. When I went to the service desk they looked confused and incompetent. Asked why the additional repairs were needed and received a lame excuse the tech thought a part was loose. Either way they were covered by warranty. Asked about the oil change and tire rotation. Neither was done! Received a call short time later which I did not answer. Service department said since there was only 2,000 miles on the vehicle since last oil change they didnt do the maintenance. Absolutely mind boggling. A customer asks for a service and you decide not to perform the maintenance. I guess the next time you go out to eat the waitress or waiter says you cannot have what you ordered because you had that a week ago. Courtesy Ford will never see my vehicle again. Matter of fact Ill get all my service done in Montana or another state.

Call and schedule a service appointment to check the brake booster and door latch. They schedule me an appointment and tell me they are BOTH covered on recalls. Ok cool. Show up at 9 for an appointment and drop the car off. They call me at 330 and say oh by the way it is not covered anymore and it will be almost $1400.00 to fix them. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Very poor customer service by speaking and then not honoring what they say. Next call Ford Corporate.I do realize there are limits to some things. However in this case I called about the brake and was told it was covered! Then I was told by service that I had a second recall and they would order the part and get it all done at once if the part came in. No mention of mileage limits. I made the appointment and spent 320 miles brining the vehicle here only to be told 7 hours later nothing was covered after being told it was. I am sorry but YOU are responsible for that information.
Got a new Expedition in 2017 from here even though I lived in Montana. Today I went into parts to get another FAB and there were 3 parts guys helping another customer. Stood there for 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment from any of them even though they could clearly see me. I walked out and won’t be back. I had planned to discuss getting another Expedition from them but not now. A service business should understand the basic service expectations.

With the recent purchase of my first car at Pocatello Nissan Kia I was very pleased of the the quality and reliability they specified on what I was purchasing. 3 weeks later the Transfer case went out along with both rear boots, I wasnt pleased at all after I hear that only some parts were covered with the extended warrenty I got through them. So when I was digging around to find the funds a member of my family pointed me towards an old family friend that works there at Courtesy Ford John Lee. John Lee sat me aside and helped me decied what my needs were in a car so that I could make it through college and go see my Mother in Texas as well as my Dad in Montana. Within 2 Hours he helped me get out of the Nissan I purchased earlier and get in a Great Ford Escape with the monthly payment that works amazing with my budget. So if you are in a tight situation that involves a mode of transportation. I highly Recomend John Lee here at Courtesy Ford.
On the sales side, I have had nothing but positive experiences. I have purchased 3 different vehicles over the last few years from them. John Lee is amazing to work with. He is patient, straight forward and very knowledgeable. We recently bought a used vehicle that had a broken electronic locking mechanism that we did not notice until we had the vehicle for a few days. He helped us get it taken care of through their service department at no cost to us.
I cant program a key on my own. Took it to them. Parts guys were nice. Service guys were okay. Ended up going to Scotts lock and key who did it for significantly cheaper.

Our buying experience was amazing here with Kayla. But as many dealerships, they’ll treat you right....right up till you pull off the lot and then they can care less. (At other dealerships in Pocatello) But it shows real character and integrity after the fact. So our 2020 lost power steering on a family trip through Utah. The dealership in Utah wasn’t very friendly and put us on the back burner when it came to getting our car fixed so we can make it back home to be able to go back to work. I reached out to Kayla even on a Saturday on her day off and she basically said don’t worry about it, we got you. Come Monday and that was no lie!!! Kayla strategized how we would get home, walked us through how the warranty would work and they even put a call into the dealership in Utah and BAM!!! My wife’s phone notified her they were working on it 30 min later rather than putting us off!! Courtesy Ford Kayla could have just ignored everything and made us figure it out, but she didn’t! That says a lot about this company!! Everyone is gonna have bad situations at any dealership, shops, etc “they ordered the wrong part” “they made me wait to long” are all mistakes anyone can make. But when we were stressed out, not enjoying our trip, she made it all go away with the “we got you” attitude and she really did!!! Everyone is always courteous and respectful. Upon entering, I was immediately helped and my car attended to. My concerns were addressed with a positive solution. I dont mind waiting for my car to be serviced because I know I wont be forgotten, the waiting area is relatively quiet and inviting. I love that Courtesy Ford is my local Ford dealership. I have purchased several new cars from here over the years, they are Always my first choice!

Let me just tell you about our salesman Kenny! This man went above and beyond what he needed to do and he never once tried to BS us or push us into something we didnt want. One month ago we bought a 2019 Ford Fusion and on Monday the plow truck took out our new can and totalled it. Living in Grace there isnt much options for rentals and I didnt know what to do. I called Kenny and he said come on down we will get you into something to drive while the claim gets worked on. In the mean time he suggested we start looking at our next car but he remembered originally we were looking for an SUV and gave us a couple of options to test drive. We decided we definitely wanted another fusion and he pulled up what they had and ordered us the one we wanted and had it delivered. He never was pushy and went beyond what you would expect. He had a new car, loan and everything set up for us so all we had to do is go in and sign. We were devastated our nee car was ruined and he made it better and helped us pick up the pieces and get us on the road again! Kenny is THE BEST!

Their service department is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I took my Escape in for some recall upgrades and I had another issue as I was leaving. Even though they were minutes away from closing up for the weekend, they pulled my vehicle into the garage and addressed the matter, without making me feel like I was putting them out in any way.

I have bought three vehicles from Ford so far, and will return again. Their salespeople are the best and their finance manager is on-the-ball. I got a warranty on my vehicle and it has already come in handy. The service department goes out of their way to make things easy for their customers. 5 Stars for sure.

I went looking for a new F150 and was pleasantly surprised at the honesty and how open they were when sharing what the price would be. The extra warranty was 1/3 the cost of one I purchased three years ago from another dealer. It is nice to find a dealer that is not out to gouge me for all they can get.

Accidentally filled my diesel truck with gasoline. Never started it. Had it towed to these guys and when we got there they said that it would be a couple of hours and should be good to go. After a couple of hours of waiting they came and said that it was in the engine and that it would be possibly a couple of weeks and $8-9K to repair because they had to replace the whole fuel system. I left in a rental car and called 3 different diesel shops in the area and ALL of them told me the same thing, Dont let them touch it! You dont have to do all of that, all you have to do is get the gas out of the tank, change the fuel filter and fill it back up with diesel. I told them that I wanted a second opinion and towed my truck home. I had a different mechanic make the repairs I mentioned earlier and it has been running great since. $9k fix avoided!! Ended up costing me about 3hrs and $200. I have never felt like I was getting taken advantage of so much in all my life!! When I went to check out with them to get my truck, they told me that they had put diesel in it... I think that they were going to do what we did and then call me in a couple of weeks and tell me it is done and then charge me $9k.... Very Disappointed!!!!!
