I had a pair of good quality knee-high leather boots Id bought a few years back that Ive maintained in tip-top condition, BUT they had plastic zippers, and over time one finally broke. Turns out finding a cobbler who will replace zippers isnt so easy. They stayed in their box for at least a year because I couldnt find anyone willing to do zippers. Well, I called Village Landing and Frederico said that he could take a look, so I brought them in and he said yes, he could do it. Having been recently unemployed because of the pandemic, the cost was not exactly easy to swallow--but I mean, replacing zippers is no mean feat. I even decided that, despite the cost, it would be worth it if he could put on metal zips (not the plastic that will eventually warp and break again), and had him do BOTH boots because it would only be a matter of time before the other would go too. I figured for a good quality pair of boots it was worth the investment--especially since the style was not something Id find again for cheap. It *is* a CASH ONLY establishment--I feel like I maybe shouldve led with that because its important to know and I dont think the google listing makes that clear (though other reviewers have, I see now, mentioned it). He was very professional and courteous. When I picked them up the metal zippers worked like a charm and looked really nice with the boot style too. Hed given them a good polish and had them back fairly promptly given the extent of the work! I wore them all last fall and into the non-snow months of the winter and theyre great! I expect to have these boots for many years to come--heck, other than getting the heels done eventually/over time, they might just outlast me! LOL. I can recommend Village Landing and Fredericos work and would go there again for my shoe repair needs in future!!

I had a pair of Birkenstock sandals needing repair. The sole was worn down and desperately needed to be replaced. I brought them in on a Thursday and I got a call on Tuesday they were ready. The sandals look wonderful…like new! I would not hesitate to take other shoes, boots and sandals there for repair!

So very nice; did great work on my Docs and a bag I needed fixed. My shoes look like new and same with my bag. Cash only but ATM in the store. Brought my son in to pick up item and he was very sweet to my 3 year old.

Frederico is a true craftsman. I brought my very worn, very loved boots to him and I cannot believe how incredible they look. I have had these boots for about ten years and they look brand new! He re-soled them, replaced missing hardware, and somehow made the worn, chapped leather look like new. Not to mention, he works quickly and has impeccable customer service. I also love that I can both support local business and reduce waste by repairing my shoes instead of replacing them!

Had a great experience with Village Landing Show Repair. He was able to repair my shoes quickly, and went out of his way to make sure they were all set before I left on a trip over the holidays. Ill be bringing all of my shoes to him in the future!

The owner is a real craftsman. I am so impressed with the work he did restoring my Birkenstock shoes! The soles were so worn down the leather on the heels were starting to scuff off. Now they are better than new because they look brand new but are broken in to my feet on the inside. Very happy and will get many more years of wearing 😊

Brought a pair of Thursday Boots in to be resoled. Frederico was great. Went through the different options he had for soles and heels and explained the process in brief. He told me the boots would be ready in about a week and 2 days been later he called letting me know they were all set. Boots were in like new condition (minus of course the normal wear on the leather), hed even gave them an awesome shine. Thanks Village Landing Shoe!

I wish I took a before picture of my Frye boots that were just repaired at this shop! They came out perfect! I thought I just needed the heels replaced, but hadnt realized that there was a hole in the sole that had also developed. I brought them into the shop yesterday and was initially told to pick them up Saturday. I received a phone call less than two hours later telling me my boots were ready! They look as good as new! Frederico made my old dress shoes better than new after a sole came loose. He increased the surface area for glue as well as stitched them back on. We’re fortunate to have this small business in town!

So happy I found this shop! Frederico tackled a very difficult project for me... he repaired a zipper on a piece of hard luggage that broke after just one use. He essentially had to take the lining out to do it and it came out great. Thought I was going to have to scrap it. Also fixed a sentimental leather bracelet found after several years of rust on the clasp. Needless to say he can tackle more than just shoes. Very happy with the service I received!

I took my boots and shoes they were very bad other shoe repair wont touch them they told me throw them away I found Frederic at the village landing did amazing job at reasonable price I was shocked when I got them like New unbelievable job well done I recommend him100% he is my cobbler for ever thanks Cindy for your recommend him to me

I will never return to this shop, wanted my husbands cowboy boots fixed(new soles) and he did not do the job correctly then when my husband brought the boots back he refused to fix them or give a refund then argued with my husband about the price that was already paid for ! Worst customer service i have ever experienced!!!!
