I was way, way over due for a dental visit! I drive past Ostrem Dental daily and finally got up the courage to call! Brandi was very reassuring that the staff would help ease my anxieties and nervousness. She was right! Erica was my hygienist and was AWESOME!!!She was patient and talked me through each step.They were not shaming at all at the length of time it had been and the work that would need to be done. They were reassuring that some damage was reversible. I think I have found a place I feel comfortable!!!!!! Thanks Dr. Ostrem, Erica and Brandi!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ostrem since he started his practice in Brooklyn Park. I have moved with them when they relocated to their new, state of the art Plymouth offices. I cant say enough good things about the friendly, caring and highly skilled staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I recently moved from CT to MN and was a bit apprehensive in having to change all my healthcare providers. Fortunately I found the folks at Ostrem Dental. My first visit for my cleaning was actually a real pleasure. The Hygienist, Erica, spent the first several minutes just getting to know me, she really made me feel comfortable being there. Being the first appointment, she performed a few extra procedures to get a solid baseline of my dental health. Dr. Ostrem was just as friendly when he can in for the final Dr. checkup. Unfortunately I did have a couple of cavities that needed to be filled. I had no trouble setting up an appointment with Dr. Ostrem. No one likes getting a filling, but Dr. Ostrem and his assistant, Kristen, made sure I was comfortable during every step of the process. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Ostrem told me about what he was about to do so I knew what to expect. For an added bonus, he only asked questions when he took the tools away from your mouth, I didnt have grunt and mumble to his questions :) Thank You Ostrem Dental for a great first couple of visits.

I went here this month (Nov 2020) because I wanted to support an office that was local. It was a GREAT choice!! I got in pretty fast, everywhere there was welcoming and helpful. Brandi the Office Manager was so kind; My hygienist Erica put up with how much I talk (HA) and was informative about my teeth. She let me know that there was a adult fluoride paste she could use on my teeth- she noted BEFORE we did it that insurance most likely would not cover it and it would cost $45. I believe my teeth are so important so I put the money into them to prevent cavities. She didnt pressure me at all; she gave ME the right to deicide. Thank you to the Ostrem Team -- I will be back!

My family has been going there for several years and have always received the best care. They always know our name where we do not feel like just a number. I had an appointment that just happened to be when they opened their new office. They included me in their opening celebration. Who else would do that. I already have my next appointment scheduled.

I first found Ostrem dental when I needed a crown post-root canal, and my usual dentist wasnt practicing. Dr Ostrem was very kind and explained the process thoroughly, assuaging my dental anxieties, and made sure I didnt feel any pain during the procedure. I returned later for a cleaning and the friendly staff kept my 3year old entertained during the appointment and let her help; she will be more comfortable visiting the dentist herself after this.Having paid out-of-pocket for the crown, Id say pricing is mid to high from the quotes I received, but the gentle service is worth it.The office in Plymouth is new, right behind the Holiday. Easy to access off 169.

My parents took us to Dr. Krafts office ever since we were kids, and we kept going when Dr. Ostrem inherited the business. Ive been using this dentist for probably close to 20 years now, being 28 myself. The new office location has a great updated look, and there are a few reserved parking spots for dental patients. They do not have online scheduling but I was able to make an appointment via email which was very convenient for me. The staff as always, have been kind and welcoming, and Ive never been afraid to go to the dentist because they are all great at their jobs. If youre searching for a new dentist, you cant go wrong here.

I highly recommend this locally-owned business, they truly become family. In most cases you can even have your crown on the same day, thats right they have the fancy machine!

(2019-06-08)Ostrem Dental has been my provider for as long as I can remember, and theyve continued to provide an excellent quality of care and support. Theyve helped me get back on track with good brushing habits and have made a tangible impact on my gum health. Next on the priority list is getting better routines with flossing, and theyve been supportive in providing achievable suggestions.Huge shout out to Shana, my hygienist, for pushing me to improve!The new location in Plymouth is awesome, by the way!(2019-12-09 visit)Teeth are looking great, and gums are healthier than theyve been in a long while! Shana my hygienist provides helpful suggestions and is an absolute pleasure to work with. She does a great job identifying risks and providing an accurate and honest assessment. Dr. Ostrem continues to provide quality care as well, and you can tell that he is confident in his team. The new location feels like a modern update compared to the previous office; with new tools and environmental decoration, I think the investment in a makeover was well worth it.

The team at Ostrem Dental is amazing. They are always welcoming and never recommend things that are not needed. They are great with working with kids and all my kids love going to the dentist. Would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a kind and respectful dentist, hygienist, and dental staff.

I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist ( not good experiences as a kid ) and Dr. O and his team always take very good care of me. My first few visits my hygienist talked me through everything before she even had me open my mouth. The team is knowledgeable and kind. Now I almost look forward to going to see them, it’s a great change from how I used to feel.

Ostrem Dentals team is an amazing group! My sons cleaning and check-up was on-time, quick, and they explained everything they were doing in detail to make the appointment easier on him. He even received a personalized thank you in the mail from Dr. Ostrem saying, Hope to see you at the rink this winter. Shows you that they go above and beyond!

Dr. Ostrem is very gentle and skilled. The staff, including the hygienist, the dental assistant, and the office manager are all very friendly and kind. I hadn’t been to a dentist for a couple years, and had some major work that needed to be done ASAP and I was in a lot of pain. They were very accommodating to get me in quickly and get me on the road to recovery, and saving the problem tooth.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. O for years. He & his staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and always take the time to answer any questions. Id highly recommend them to anyone!

Great dental office with wonderful staff from my dentist to the hygienist to the front desk staff. It truly feels like a family atmosphere when I get my 6 month checkups. Makes for a nice experience despite a naturally uncomfortable situation.

We drive quite a bit out of our way to get to Ostrem Dental (about 40 minutes) but its well worth it. Dr. Ostrem is the best, and the staff treat us like old friends. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
