I have been to several different dental offices over the years and have had an immense amount of work done. The staff here is BY FAR the best. Donna, my hygienist, is AMAZING! I was nervous, in pain and extremely anxious of all the work needing to be done, she put me at ease right away and always let me know what was going on so I never felt in the dark. She was very knowledgeable and kind, to which Im very grateful for!

Phenomenal doctors, Dr. Alb is not just a dentist but also an MD and does complex dental cases. Dr. Laspe was amazing and Dr Atme does really great work. I get to go in this Thursday. Im one of those people who love a really good and thorough dental cleaning. Ive referred my family and my 2 best friends to them. They also give a $25 referral credit for every patient you refer on your account and on the new patient account. Thats pretty awesome, but whats really great is they have a dental savings plan for people who dont have insurance. My good friend I referred just signed up and it gives you a 20% discount too.

I was experiencing some substantial tooth pain on Monday and walked into their clinic on 36th Avenue in Plymouth the next day at the lunch hour. The well trained and professional staff took me in as a New Patient immediately which is unheard of in the dental profession. I was so thankful! I met Dr. Alb, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable; exactly what I needed. My condition was diagnosed and I was set up for corrective dental work for that upcoming Friday. I had a lot of work that needed to be done and Dr. Alb and assistant performed a complicated but painless experience. I highly recommend Dr. Alb and his awesome staff at Gentle Dentistry of Plymouth! Ive been going to the Plymouth location since I moved to the Twin Cities 4 years ago. Rachel at the desk is always so friendly and helpful with estimates, insurance, etc. Jessica is an awesome hygienist, very professional and thorough but also friendly and accomodating! Everything is very reasonably priced, and yes, gentle. Also the white for life program is awesome!

The people who work here are wonderful! Theyre kind, competent and great at accommodating schedules.

I had a great experience at Gentle Dentistry in Plymouth. They were very knowledgeable and friendly! I loved my hygienist but didn’t catch her name! They had a thoughtful way about them, yet very professional. I was given a blood pressure test, they did a cancer screen, and X-rays. I walked out of there thinking what an amazing job they did!

Dr. Sim is absolutely the best dentist our family has ever had. He knows dentistry extremely well, listens to our needs and provides options. The staff is great, including the assistants and hygienist. The inside is nice with modern equipment. I actually look forward to seeing this kind, professional dentist and staff!

Just recently switched from one dental clinic to Gentle Dentistry and it was the best decision I have made. The folks at GD really care about me and my overall oral health. I’m in the process of getting a crown put in and so far the process has been super smooth and pain free. I look forward to many more years of visits with Gentle Dentistry!!

Had a chipped tooth and I was in and out of there in no time. EVERYONE was friendly, helpful, and professional. Very clean office, yes its older but they still take care of the necessary hygiene and cleaning. The dentist and assistants are great. Been going to Gentle Dentistry for 6 years now at another location and Im switching to this location.

They are giving very wrong estimates. I unnecessarily brought my wife for service based on the estimate.I just went to their place to do scaling and root planning. I want to do lesser service based on my FSA account. They told me the bridge service and services for my wife also can be covered with in the FSA amount I have.So unnecessary I brought entire family to this dentistry. Now I’m charged 5 times more than I owe.They are trying to sell most of the services by giving the customers wrong information.Now if I call they are saying you need to pay all.I have copies of all their estimates, don’t know where to complain ☹️

I wish I had never used them. They screwed up my teeth.Just got off the phone with my insurance. This office lied to my face. They never called my insurance to confirm that what they where doing was covered. They just told me it was covered to stiff me out of money.Dont go here.

I have had wonderful experiences with this location and the New Hope location. Rachel is awesome and the hygienists are always so thorough. I was even able to schedule an emergency appointment when I chipped a tooth. They squeezed me in the same day or a day later.

Love Gentle Dentistry! They always have such cheerful receptionists and my cleanings are always done with precision and care. I would highly recommend any of their offices, but I have been to the one in Spring Park and the one in Wayzata- both offices are exceptional.

Updated : Reducing my review to 1 star.1 year after my multiple tooth fillings at this place and my bite has still not come back to normal. They do a pretty job with dental fillingsold review==========I have some mixed experience about this office* Office staff (Rachel) is awesome - she is very good in appointments, insurance matters and very good at what she does* There is some hygiene issues in the office - after each visit I started having sore throat, never had it happened with any dental office.* Dr Alegoankar & the assistant were good - I mean they did a good job in multiple fillings and all my friends go to her and heard good feedback.But somehow for me, my wisdom tooth filling ended up being pretty bad, would wake up with pain at 3 in the morning and took me multiple weeks to become normal.I am still having issues with my bite and the infection/pain did not go away until I had to go on antibiotics which was again prescribed by a different doctor.

Have a billing issue and cant seem to get any response. I have called several times, no call back. I have left messages and also e-mailed about my situation. The issue is I dont think that I should have to pay the balance of $374.35 for 2 fillings that they filled with white instead of what my insurance would pay for. They are billing me for the difference. I was told that I had leaky fillings on two teeth that were NOT bothering me at all. I agreed to getting the fillings replaced. I knew that my insurance would pay 100% on fillings so I agreed. I wouldnt have agreed to have them replaced had I known they were going to be sneaky and do this to me! This isnt the first billing issue that I have had with them. I was told that my insurance would not pay for my cleaning one time, which I went ahead and paid for out of my pocket - the full amount too - not what my insurance allows. Then I get an EOB from my insurance saying that they did pay for the cleaning. I called to get a refund and it took 3 months to get my money refunded back to my credit card. Wow!! I was really mad about that as well. I have had a few issues now with my teeth being very sensitive since I had all the cleanings that they said that I needed. I have always been very good about taking care of my teeth; cleanings every 6 months and all that but the first time that I went there, they acted like my teeth were in terrible shape. (I had moved to the area from a different state.) I wish that I had NEVER darkened the door of that office. I now am going to another office and now I am so leery of dentist office procedures and practices that I ask about every single thing that they say - which I should have done in this office for sure. Just dont go there. You will regret it in the long run. And in response to the reply that I got ------- I do know what my insurance will pay for. That is why I was upset with the white fillings. I knew that my insurance would not pay for them. If you would be upfront with people and tell them what you are GOING to do instead of just not explaining - then I would have not had an issue - except that your services are really expensive anyway. In the end, I still had to pay 1/2 of what the balance of those were after my insurance paid what they would pay. So, there!

After years of care from other dentists, it was wonderful to find a dentist and staff that actually cared and performed so professionally!! I highly recommend this wonderful office!

I am satisfied with this location and more so since Ive since transferred previously going to the Edina location which I didnt feel was all that clean and this place is pleasing and easy to find once youve been there a few times.

If I can give this practice negative stars I will. The doctor(blonde lady) that worked on my teeth, a couple yrs ago, and filled my amalgams did a horrible job, the filling broke and fell. I should sue them for malpractice and for all the other wrongs they did and of risks that they did not inform me of.

Yuk. This place is dingy and dreary, small and musty. The front office staff are not pleasant. The dental assistant was rude. They billed me for a credit that was due to me. Try calling their billing dept, your on hold for three min and it transfers you to vm. even calling during off hours, it always says there is one caller ahead of me.

This has to be the worst dentist office I have ever been to. I am in the process of contacting any and every state department in regards to them and their uncleanliness, their terrible customer service, there horrible dentistry practices. Every cavity I had filled had to be redone. (One I never had problems with til I got it filled) I now get food stuck in EVERYTIME I eat. Another one, after getting a cavity filled I was left with a hole in my tooth. Others just have a little lip that needs smoothing but I have already had them smooth them before, this shouldnt need a second time. The last straw was waiting 54 moniutes, numb for anyone to come and help me. This is too long of a time to wait for a dentist to start working on you.
