Our cleanings and business relationship with Two Maids and a Mop - Plymouth started out well. The cleaners were prompt, efficient, friendly and cleaned our home from top to bottom with near perfection.Once we began weekly cleanings of our home, things slid downhill pretty quickly.The cleaning crew each week is always different, so it’s always been a challenge to acquaint them with the layout of our home, the cleaning expectations and matching up communication styles.Obviously since COVID there’s been growing pains with working from home while the cleaning crew is here. But the cleaning crew at Two Maids & a Mop often are slamming cabinet doors, slamming glass on our coffee table, slamming the oven door. If it’s not that, one cleaner took it upon herself to walk into my office, not saying two words to me, while my work computer screens were unlocked, confidential info fully visible.Last week and today’s cleaning were the deal breakers to end services. The cleaners knocked over stuff on our mantle and simply left it knocked over; they left coffee pot parts strewn about our counter, the same counter on which they wrote us a very nice thank-you note; I let one cleaner know that our bed sheets were in the dryer, but instead, the cleaner covered our bare mattress simply with a comforter and walked away — until I reminded her that the bed needed sheets and pillow cases.The cleaners today also left our bathroom scale just sitting on top of the toilet. Today’s cleaners were also short and non-responsive when asked basic questions related to the cleaning.We were also taken aback that adding vacuuming of our couch furniture and cushions was an extra $20 each week. While Jamie did agree to come down to $10 each week, I would think that simply vacuuming upholstery would be standard — especially since the cleaners bring their own vacuum.The cancellation policy is also a bit rough. You have two *business days* to cancel a scheduled cleaning; that means that if our cleaning fell on a Monday, we would need to know and cancel by Thursday of the week prior, in order to avoid any cancellation fees.Overall, yes, the cleanings started out good, but the honeymoon period ended quickly, and we decided to terminate any further cleanings with Two Maids & a Mop - Plymouth as of today.

The cleaners at Two Maids & a Mop did a fantastic job cleaning my home. They were friendly and professional. By the time they departed my house was sparkling.

Jamie came to my home to do an estimate. After she inspected my entire house, she said I needed to pay for a deep cleaning prior to regular services. That was over $500. OK so maybe a deep cleaning is a good thing. SO then she scheduled me a month out. Then proceeded to email and text me marketing over 10 times in 2 weeks. Texted me many times.And here is where I cancelled: she sent me two more messages asking for another meeting. Do you have availability in the next couple days for a phone discussion? I would like to go over a few of our policies and gather a few more details regarding your home. then another message I wanted to follow up about your May 19th cleaning. I will need to have a phone discussion to gather more information regarding your home and go over our policies. If you can give me a call by Monday at 3pm I would appreciate it, otherwise your appointment may be at risk of being removed from the schedule. Lets keep in mind, she already inspected my home and took up about 3 hours of my life I cant get back.Then told me I am at risk of losing my appointment.Jamie, you lost this $500.UPDATE: I disagree with the owners response. Our house looked great after the deep clean. The wood gleamed as did the other surfaces. Smelled fresh, not harshly chemical. The fridge and interior sunroom windows were worthwhile add-ons. Should have done this sooner!

I am so blown away by how deep of a clean they perform on our house. After having everyone home due to Covid our house was getting really bad so we hired a professional to get it back to order. They went above and beyond on our house. Everywhere I went I could notice had been touched. Weve never hired a professional cleaner before and I didnt know what to expect but I was not disappointed one bit. The communication leading up to the day was great, they were informative and kept me up to date on when our cleaning team would arrive. I cant say enough good things about them and cant wait for them to come back to do our maintenance cleans! We hired Two Maids for biweekly service just before we had our baby girl. We were so impressed with the quality of cleaning for the price that we decided to continue service for several months (7-8 months I believe). The staff was always very professional, accommodating, friendly. We had a few different people come out - all were great, but Jenny really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Two Maids for regular house cleanings. I also really appreciate the different tiers of service they offer, so you pay for the level (deep clean, versus basic, etc.) of cleaning that you need or want. Very affordable quality cleaning service!

We use the ever other week option, and although at first we had to clarify about how we wanted things cleaned, they worked with us and now we are very very pleased: most specifically we are very happy with Olivia who does impeccable work. Coming home after she has cleaned our home is a delight.

It is nice they send a reminder text days before which allows you to cancel, request certain services or time frames. They are always very thorough and with two crew members working, they job gets done quick!

This was the home of an elderly person that wasnt able to do any cleaning so they had their hands full. When they finished, everything was spotless, there was a bathroom fixture that was so stained we thought we would have to replace it. They did such a good job it looks like new! By far the best cleaning service I have ever used!

On January 10, Two Maids and a Mop came to clean my Mothers home. She is in her 90s and was very nervous about having a cleaning crew in her home. Much to our surprise, it was a wonderful experience! They were polite and friendly and also aware of her needs as she maneuvered through her home with her walker. Her home was left sparkling clean and smelling good. What I liked was the attention to detail and the little things, ie: the way the toilet paper was folded and the hand towels were hung and the way the ceramic in the bathroom sparkled. I tried to find something that was just OK with any aspect of the work done, and I couldnt, everything that was done was professional and efficient. I am very pleased and impressed with Two Maids.

I had Two Maids and a Mop come to my home for a deep clean Jan. 11th. When I got home from work late that after, I was pleasantly surprised how fresh and clean my entire house was. They paid great attention to everything. Everything sparkled😊 I have quite a few wooden blinds and they were free of dust for the first time in a long time. I recently lost my cleaning lady of several years due to illness. I did some research and hired Two Maids & A Mop to do a deep clean of my home prior to scheduling them on an every other week basis.They sent a team of 3 young women. I showed them around and explained a couple of things that I am particular about, like lifting the edge of an area rug to vacuum under the edge where dirt collects.When I arrived home 3 hours later, they were finished and gone. I had expressly said use only my Bona floor cleaner on the hardwood floors. Instead, they did something that has left the wood floors very slippery with a film of something that makes our rubber-soled shoes squeak when we walk on them.They did not dust the tops of picture frames or the louvers on the closet doors. They dusted a glass-topped lamp table, but did not wash off the cup ring that was on the table. They spray cleaned the kitchen counters including wiping right over some stuck on food. So the counters looked shiny, but if you ran your hand over them, you could feel the stuck on bits.They vacuumed around things, even a decorative pillow that was half under a dresser where it had fallen, and when I picked it up to put it on the bed, there was dust and dog hair still on the floor.They seemed to vacuum well where there were no obstacles, and they cleaned the dogs nose & breath prints off the lower part of the windows very nicely. The bathrooms were done well. I guess it depends on which team member does which room because I could see differences in the levels of cleanliness.Overall, I would say stay away unless you can be home while the cleaning is going on. I waited two days to call the company because I was trying to cut them some slack since they were new to me and the house. But as I find more things around the house that were not done properly, I decided to call although I am not expecting a return call.

I did not get what I paid for. Attempts to reach out to the office have failed. I requested a deep clean and i most certainly did not get that. Im not sure how you deep clean a home with 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining room and 2 living rooms in just 2 hours. I asked them before they left to do some additional dusting they had clearly missed. They said they did it but it wasnt done. Its just frustrating.

Hired Two Maids to do a move out cleaning for our apartment. We were not there but our apartment manager said they did a good job.

My wife travels to China 2-3 times a year for a month at a time. I decided to surprise her and have the whole house cleaned professionally so she could get home and relax vs. working around the home cleaning.I reached out to Two Maids & A MOP to get the job done and boy was that a mistake. We scheduled service for a 3 hour cleaning - which i was assured would be perfect. They could only come in the afternoon so I was able to be there while they were working. When I arrived home I walked through my home and was very disappointed. My floors were moped alright - there were streaks with a haze everywhere on my 1st floor accept for the carpeted TV sitting room. Vacuuming was great accept they never when down to our finished basement (because the door was locked and I guess they couldnt figure out how to turn a lock) and they forgot to clean my laminate floors. They wiped down most surfaces but didnt move anything to clean underneath. There were a number of locations that were still very dusty too. The showers were not cleaned and the counter tops were all hazy and streaky too.I called Two Maids & A Mop and had to leave a voice mail. I didnt get a call back till 2 pm the next day. When I spoke to the women, she asked what was wrong - and I explained. She said that doesnt sound like to girls who came to my home. She said she will talk to them and that she is sorry I didnt feel my home was properly cleaned. I asked what she was going to do about it, and she said there was nothing she could do. After I told her i would definitely write a poor review - she said she would contact the owner and to be patient waiting for a call back.She new my wife was coming home the next day and took no action to make this write. Mean time, I have to take a 1/2 day off work to clean up their mess, and clean my own home.This company does not know how to spell customer service. They dont act quickly to fix mistakes, and they dont seem to care if their clients are satisfied. I think they wouldnt mind not if you went somewhere else to have a professional service clean your home.Stay Away from this company - they are worthless!

I hired “Two maids and a mop” to clean my sons townhouse once a month. I specifically asked that they dust all surfaces, including baseboards and window sills, along with basic bathroom cleaning, floor mopping and carpet vacuuming. I was recently visiting my son when the maids came to clean. It was a crew of 2 young ladies. To my surprise, they managed to clean a 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome in less then 35 minutes! They did not vacuum the steps, wipe down the table, dust the dining room table and chairs, or the television console. I watched one young lady swiffer under the dining room table without pulling out the chairs, just bumping the mop against them! I was so horrified, that I called the company immediately to complain, didn’t get an answer, but I left a message, and asked for someone to call me back. I have not gotten a return call. Don’t waste your money using this company!

I used to have a freelance cleaning lady, but once she retired, I switched to Two Maids & A Mop. They are faster and better than my old cleaning lady, they even make the beds! Highly recommend!

Kassidy, Zoe, & Ayesha did a great job! We had a move out cleaning done on our townhouse last week. With a new baby and frankly, just too much stuff in such a little space, the dusting and deep cleaning was really put on the back burner for my family. Definitely worth every penny!
