These guys are awesome. Hit a piece of debris on the highway overnight. Called them in the morning and they got me right in for an inspection. Then they patched up a hole from the debris in the exhaust for me and just charged me for the inspection. Took 30 minutes. Good people. Highly recommend

I experienced an issue with a repair two days later when sadly I was 12 hours away. I called Precision Tune and explained the situation. Jeff shared what he thought was going on and consistently checked in on me even calling the next day to see how things were going. When I got back to town he checked things over and made it right. Best mechanic Ive ever been to. Ive taken all of my cars there for at least 8 years now and have been more than happy with their work every time. They never try to sell my something I dont need or push me to do anything even if it is needed.

The staff was all courteous and and straightforward: no skeezy upsetting tactics or fleecing in sight. I had a walk-in oil change (weekday mid-day,) which was quick and competitively priced.

In the past, Id taken my GMC Denali to the dealer for repairs. I wish Id known about Precision Tune (PT) sooner. The staff at the Plymouth location are true professionals; from the friendly lady at the front counter to the technician who worked on my vehicle. Chelsea runs the front desk and is very friendly and knowledgeable. These guys do good work at a fair and reasonable price, and they don’t make you wait forever. I go here for all my car needs.

I dont know many people who love their mechanic. You go in and dish out money but I am so lucky to have found such an HONEST place. They explain things very. Every time I go in they go above and beyond. The only issue is because they are so good you might have to wait a few days.

I bought the windshield wipers for my car from WALSER NISSAN WAYZATA.I even purchased my car in 2016 a brand new, ever since then going there for everything else.Well, my cars 3 year old now and I needed new windshield wipers.When I called NISSAN, they told me 3 wipers cost almost $60 theyll install for no charge.I went to NISSAN all 3 wipers, but they told me $30 for rear windshield wiper installation!So I came to PRECISION TUNE for installation, they took my car to their garage changed rear wiper, and best of all, FREE OF CHARGE!Thank you PRECIOUS TONE AUTO CARE!! 😊

I called to get a oil change. They said its first come first serve. Thats fine. I asked how long the wait was and they said about a half hour. I had a hour and a half to kill. I got there within minutes. The front desk lady seemed to dislike me. Oh well dont care. Only because everyone else she seemed very content with. Thats fine. Everyone judges. I kept looking outside only to see my car sitting there getting covered with snow. Nobody gave me updates, which majority places do for me. Finally, after one hour I got up, got my keys back and left with no oil change. Also this place is so dirty! This is all what I experience, but I hope others have better experiences.

They took care of my wife’s flat tire just before closing (on Christmas Eve). Couldn’t believe how helpful and friendly they were will definitely come back next time we need service. Highly recommend!!

This is what I expect from a vehicle repair shop. 1) Basic courtesy of prompt greeting, using my name when confirming the vehicle appointment, and thanking me for visiting. 2) A phone call about 30min before my vehicle would be ready to help me plan same-day pick up again as I was concerned about their weekday only hours. 3) Paperwork that is straight forward about suggested repairs and base cost included with the receipt of all work that was just completed. 4) No pressure about minor repairs such as the air filters are dirty stunt. In fact, review of tire rotation was suggested as unnecissary and saved me an expense. 5) The next suggested visit sticker in the window! I seriously care about these because Im not a car enthusiast who has memorized the users manual on when basic maintainence is due.

I dont always have someone else fix my truck, but when I do, its Precision Tune in Plymouth. They did exactly the work I wanted to have done and I never felt jerked around or overcharged. They have honest mechanics like Jeff who just gives you a good vibe and Chelsea at the front desk who really knows what shes doing. Precision Tune in Plymouth is a solid garage, run by hard working humans. They will get my business again.

I waited 6 months to write a review. Usually I go to my car dealer for any issues. 6 months back, I went to Precision Tune Auto care to replace my cars left sided low beam bulb. The wait was 1 hour, and it cost me >90 dollars to get that replaced. Customer service was mediocre and waiting lounge was pathetic. Yesterday I went to my car dealer (Morries Subaru) to have my right low beam bulb replaced. Wait time was 20 minutes. They replaced the bulb for 55 dollars (including service and tax). Their lounge was spacious and comfortable, with free snacks to munch on too. I will not head to Precision auto unless it is the only place open for business!

I really like this place. They have honest mechanics that will speak to you clearly about what you need to fix and what you can hold off on - nice if youre on a budget! Ive had stuff fixed at other places and then had to take it to them later... where they fixed it the right way.

These guys are very honest and do not over charge you. I do some of my own work and I usually know what is wrong. They work with you and you can bring your own parts and save a little money so they dont have to procure parts. They have done a great job of keeping my old 2000 caravan rolling.

After breaking down on the trip back from Thanksgiving, AAA took me to seemingly the only open auto body shop which quickly called me back for a new motor ~$5k repair. Having some previous work done with Precision Tune and potentially a warranty situation on some parts, I towed the car 20 miles to Plymouth. The crew at Precision Tune was able to correctly diagnose a completely different issue which lead to a new repair at a fraction of the price I would have paid elsewhere. The owner, Jeff, personally gave his attention to my car and situation and visually walked me through the problematic parts. I will bring my auto maintenance business here going forward.

Great service, and much more reasonably priced than the dealer. I will say they messed up a radiator flush, leaving air bubbles in the lines-which caused my thermostat to tell me the engine was over-heating, when it was not.That said, they made it right. With my car back in the shop they corrected the mistake, free of charge, and tested the car to make sure all air bubbles were out. Overall 4.5/5. Without the mistake this would have been 5/5.

I would not take my car anywhere else in Plymouth, I have recently purchased a new car and have not needed any services for a while. But on came the day my teenage son started to drive. He had his first ice driving mishap and almost took a wheel completed off the car. Not to get too much into that story, but I had the tow truck drop it off at Precision Tune that night. The next day I was called and told that they couldnt tell me how much damage he had caused until they got it up on the lift to take a look. To make a long story longer, he did do a lot of damage. Andrew worked very well with me and I believe we received wonderful service and got back on the road quickly for a fair price. I have been a customer for many years and this will continue for many more.

Most shops in Minnesota try to take you for a ride finding all kinds of things wrong in your car. It is difficult to find a place like Precision Tune in Plymouth where you find honesty about your case. The employees work on a salary basis, not on commision as most other shops operate. I have no problem recommending this place.

I have a New Honda Accord Coupe that wouldnt start and had symptoms of an alternator problem. I was in Plymouth at a gas station near Precision Auto but have always been hesitant to take my car anywhere other than the dealership with all of the electronics these days but since they were close and had a recommended tow company I went there. Jeff had the problem diagnosed in 15 minutes and replaced my battery which had a short. Low cost and quick exit on a problem I wouldnt have been able to diagnose myself. I appreciate the honesty, speedy service and low cost. Thansks Jeff!

My mother has been bringing her car to some dealerships around the metro, asking for a check of engine, valvetrain, pcm, etc. Knowing the solutions would be neither simple nor cheap, Ive been very disappointed by those dealerships giving a very inconsistent diagnosis. Their demeanor was enough to raise question of differential treatment due to gender, perceived profit based on car value, etc.That said, my mom brought her car to Precision Tune one morning, based on recommendations, and the experience for her confirms those recommendations. Jeff and his staff worked very fast and must have been incredibly efficient, as they called back early that afternoon with results both thorough and trustworthy. Not only from her perspective, but mine as well. The cost was very fair, and Ive now gotten the strong reasons to recommend this shop, its staff, their capabilities, and can attest to their work integrity.Thank you for doing great work for both this car/customer, and also helping erase the unfortunate societal stigma of the automotive technician!

I have nothing but good to say about the staff, but the owner however is a joke. I had a wheel bearing go out on my truck, so I came to the Napa next door. First I asked precision tune if they could do it, and they said they would have to have my truck all day, and I’m trying to make it back to Missouri. So I asked the manager at Napa if I could work in his parking lot and he said yes, so I start fixing it myself in the parking lot. I went inside precision to ask for a torque spec and Jeff starts threatening to call the cops on me, even though Napa gave me permission to work in their parking lot. I offered them my business and then he’s mad when I start doing it on my own. He doesn’t care about customers, all he cares about is his wallet.
