Service technician Rick for our recent kitchen faucet installation was competent, had a friendly attitude and made sure to explain each step of the process as the work progressed. He also asked for my concurrence/approval along the way. E.g., new angle stops were recommended to replace older outdated stops. When I mentioned that I had one of the newer type angle stops on a bathroom toilet that was not working, he replaced it. All changes were tested for leaks, none were found. Rick was first rate. I heartily recommend him.

We had a major leak under the sink from an old garbage disposal unit. Even though Valley was very busy they were able to quickly send Zach to solve the problem. Zach handled the job very very well, quick, knowledgeable, and we are up and running and extremely satisfied with Valley and their superb plumber Zach.

The plumber did a good job, came on time and seemed to be knowledgeable and courteous.

Karl did a great job installing gas auto shut-off valve for us. Kirk did a great job removing another abandoned gas pip for us. They are efficient and explained the details of the work. I definitely will continue using Valley Plumbing for our plumbing works.

Service call was set up to install an ice maker valve in the wall behind the new refrigerator which is to be delivered next week.Kirk came a we discussed the project. It became apparent that the job was to more complex than I expected. I was told the wall valve was a code requirement. Kirk checked with his office and reported that they were not aware of that code requirement.We inspected the ice maker existing line and tested the shut off valve at sink. It was in working order. We decided that adding a shut off valve behind the wall at the refrigerator location added no value functionally. The existing valve at the sink worked well it it nothing that can be seen from the kitchen. We decided not to install the valve.To fulfill the one hour minimum, Kirk then installed the under sink water filter cartridge and checked for leaks. That only took a short time so we only just started to fulfill the minimum one hour service call.I asked Kirk to check the bathtub switching valve between the tub and the shower. It seemed to be frozen. He tried to torque it with a wrench and applied Penetrant to see we could break it free. It did not work. We tapped it with a hammer but that also did not work. At that point Kirk said he did not know what to do next. He decided to photograph the valve and send it to the office to see if we could find a replacement. It is over 22 -+ years old so there is concern that we may not find a replacement. He said the office will get back to me on the results of their search.Joe Morgan.

Zack the you g plumber arrived “early” which was good. He did the flush on our tankless water heater in an hour and half without any issue. While waiting for the water to drain he came to the kitchen and did a beautiful job of sealing the sink and counter. I would recommend Valley Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

Recommending Valley Plumbing Home Center, Inc. to my parent warranty company SELECT HOME WARRANTY for water heater service, parts and repairs.Kirk (The professional) gentleman, from Valley Plumbing not only sounded confident upfront but also showed-up with all parts needed. Instead, of the stipulated two (02) hours needed to replace the control valve and the pilot assembly, he installed the parts in just over an hour. Also, used the reverse bower to suck the accumulated dust and some debris leaving the water heater closet in clean and tidy shape.Towards the end, Kirk showed me the basic couple of to do items as a home owner to take care off and administer these on a six-monthly basis. These included draining the sediment from the tank by turning the screw a quarter position and of course, connecting first a suitable length hose to the drain accumulated water & sediment well outside the closet.Recommending their services to Tri-valley (Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon) and surrounding area residents. The original maintenance company technician from AQUA-Fresh of Milpitas as scheduled by SELECT HOME WARRANTY left a bad taste in mouth as after spending about half-an hour trying to light the pilot back raised his hand in frustration and slammed an invoice for $60.00 dollars as service fees for showing up. We employed Valley Plumbing for a complete tear out and remodel of our master bath along with some other minor work in a second bath.We received excellent guidance from John as we were planning the project.Valley Plumbing started the job as planned, had all our materials ready, and finished ahead of schedule and slightly under their bid price.John, Manuel and Christian were great to work with and were very responsive to any questions or concerns.The finished job looks great. The craftsmanship was absolutely first rate ! Wed use them again in an instant.

I got more than I expected - excellent.I called Valley plumbing for a kitchen sink backup issue. Mark from Valley plumbing showed up on time. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Not only he fixed the issue within 20 minutes, but also he showed me some other issues with my faucet and fixed it. He cleaned everything up after the job. Since he had some time left in the one hr minimum, he asked me if there is any other issues. I showed some other minor problems with the bathroom faucet and the air gap hose, and he promptly fixed both these problems. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues.

I had similar experiences with Valley Plumbing as some of these other customers. I found a leak under my driveway through a separate leak detection company. I had not read the reviews here until it was too late. I emailed it to Valley Plumbing for an estimate to repair. They said they couldnt give me a price but that it would be an hourly rate of $134.50/hr and that I could stop them at any time. Wow really? They never gave a written estimate of any kind. I had a friend drive by throughout the day without their knowledge. I learned that they padded the bill by approx. 2 hours! They also never disclosed they would only give me a 30 day warranty. They want $937 and $900 of it is labor. These folks are king rip off artists. I will have to file a complaint with the board and take them to court as they are threatening me now. The owner agreed to drop bill to $800 yesterday and now his wife? is hostile and saying she wont lower the price? Be safe and call someone else for your job.

Called to request estimate-- they dont do estimates. I explained how a work estimate is a staple in my industry and I was perplexed by the assertion that no estimates were provided in the plumbing industry. They assured me that until the work was begun, no estimate could be provided and that I could stop the work at any time (riiight, like once they pull apart the plumbing Im going to stop them from putting it back together.)Mind you, I get why a dispatcher wouldnt be able to provide an estimate over the phone-- but when I know that the leak that needs to be fixed is in a raised foundation crawl space and easily accessible-- being told that an estimate cannot be provided until the work begins. (There are a couple of other things I want to do, its not just a single item... which is why I wanted an estimate for all the work.) Sketchy.I was not even offered a 1 hour service call to provide estimate option-- just work takes as long as it takes, heres our hours, they have to pull everything apart before they can begin to estimate...(Reviews are generally poor on Yahoo as well.) No thanks.NOTE: There is no n/a option for Quality or Service-- as I did not actually work with them, those ratings are perhaps invalid... but I certainly cannot rate them good or better based on my limited experience.

This goes back a few years but worth noting. They were involved in a home inspection and claimed that my sewer pipe to the street was blocked and it would cost 2000 + dollars to add a section to the sewer pipe called a clear out, or something to that effect. The next day I had another plumber come by and he said there was no problem. Watch out this firm has dubious ethics.

This is a Can Do operation. They dont focus at roadblocks, they focus on solutions. Andrew was an incredible help. We will use The Plumbery from now on.

Looking for a plumbing supply store for a home repair project Im working on this morning and ran across the bad reviews of this place and have to put my 2 cents in about my experience with them. This happened about 5 years ago at the downtown store but I remember things like this. I was working with a handyman (unlicensed) and needed a part for my shower and went into their store. When I described what I was looking for one of the 2 guys that was there asked if I was doing the work or if I had a hired a plumber. When I told them I was working with a local handyman he immediately chastised and belittled for not hiring a licensed plumber. The BS kept coming and I turned around and walked out. Zero stars from me.

One of the worst plumber experience I had ever in my life!We called them to replace a kitchen faucet and install an insta-hot water heater and dispenser. They took more than two hours at more than $100 per hour to just change the kitchen faucet. Then, even before making sure that we had all the right parts, they took out our current drinking water dispenser and the soap dispenser, and then the guy said they cannot install the hot/cold water dispenser because it has copper pipe in it which is not suggested for a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system.All right - so far, except for the exorbitant price to change a kitchen faucet, we can live with the fact that the installer could have checked for the pipe before dismantling our current water filtration faucet system!After dismantling the filtered-water faucet the installer said he will check their company store and by next day he will either bring another hot/cold water dispenser that will work, or let us know if they dont have any.Next day we never heard back from him. Then the next day I called, and asked for an update. The guy said he is still looking into it. Then three days later I again called their office, and they said they will have that installer call me back. No call. Then again after about a week later I called their office and asked for an update. They took my message and said someone will reach out to me. Three days have passed by, and no call from them.So here I am, with my kitchen sink left in a under-repair state, 10 days into it, and no call from these guys! We have been buying bottled water hoping this guy will show up with right parts to fix what he left in unfinished state. But so far no word from him! This is one of the worst customer service experience I had in my life.Hope others can benefit from it and take their business elsewhere.

HIGHLY OVERPRICED!!!. We had a clogged kitchen sink. The plumber came on a Saturday morning. He worked for a mere 20 minutes and charged us $200.00 FOR SERVICE ONLY (no parts). We felt completely ripped.

Although they fixed the leak in our yard, the bill was shocking! we were not given a proper estimate. They just fleece you. Completely unreasonable prices.

I wish I could give them a zero Star. Worst service ever. Here is my story I call in to check on some parts and the guy name Stark told they have it in stock I drove 30 mins from Oakland to get this part and when I get here he told me my tech just pull that part and I dont have it. What a big BS I drove from Oakland to Pleasanton for nothing. Bad Bad Bad service will not recommend this place to anyone or come back in future.
