We were staying in Pleasanton and the bf chose this place for dinner. The service was great. The food amazing. I had the double cut pork chops. Huge portion! Was really good. Bf had seafood risotto which was also really good.

It was a nice ambience, was my first time visiting this restaurant. Aside from being very busy it was overall a good experience.

We finally found another good Italian restaurant in the area! The red bell pepper sauce is very tasty, the burrata bread wit OO was rich and tasty. Loved their tiramisu too. Quick service and nice outdoor seating. Lot of vegetarian options.

My wife and I had dinner here a couple nights back and had a fantastic time. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. My favorite part was the service provided by Oscar which was just perfect. There was another gentlemen whose name I didnt catch that was helping Oscar that was great as well. We couldnt of asked for a better night out. Thank you and well be back again soon!

Food is always on point. Still prices pretty reasonable. Nice, friendly, quick and attentive service. I always walk away feeling good I came back. Give it try, you wont be disappointed.

We used Pastas for a private dining reception after a service, and they were very accommodating and efficient for when our group was larger than anticipated. The food was excellent, and their private dining menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from. The total experience was within our budget and everyone was satisfied. I would not hesitate to use Pastas again for a similar experience or for any other meal in the future. Thank you for taking away the stress of feeding so many people. Absolutely 5 stars.

This restaurant has fantastic service and yummy meals. One of the best place around here. The drinks and food served quickly and the prices were affordable. Highly recommended.

We got the Cajun Chicken Penne Pasta, Margherita Pizza and the Avocado Bruschetta. You can taste the freshness in ALL of their ingredients. The pasta was fresh! The pizza dough & sauce was delicious! The Bruschetta hit the spot. Its been a couple days since weve visited and Im already wanting to go back for some pasta & pizza.

Nice little brunch spot if you are in the neighborhood. Bottomless mimosas...what more needs to be said? The only challenge is the parking. Be prepared to circle the block a few times. There is a lot behind the restaurant but it fills up quickly.

Pastas is our favorite local restaurant. The bar is cozy and we are beyond happy that indoor dining has reopened and we can again sit in our favorite bar. Love to sit facing the window on Main St. and watch passersby. Joses Ribs are a delicious appetizer. The best warm bread, too.

I had the Penne alla Vodka. Very good! The salmon was perfectly cooked. The big ole prawns were perfectly cooked. The sauce wasnt overly spicey but a little bit more than Id hoped for. But still it was very good. Our waitress was super good and very helpful. I enjoyed the experience.

Good, but not great. Although I was served the wrong order, it was clear the pasta was fresh made. One of the orders came with fish and it was juicy and tender. Some dishes were a little bit lacking in the flavor and to be truthful, I think they had the wrong take on the Rigatoni Napoletano.

From the onset of our outdoor dining experience at Pasta’s we were treated wonderfully. The impeccable service started as we entered the restaurant and were quickly attended to by the host. We were given a very quick two minute wait and then seated. The server was incredibly nice even tho we only had water and just main courses. The burrata raviolis were incredibly delicious and I will definitely be coming back. My buddy enjoyed his short rib raviolis as well and we were both impressed with the quality of service, atmosphere and kindness of both the host and server. 10/10

Absolutely delicious food! They had heaters outside so I was comfortable in just a T-shirt despite it being 50 degrees out.

Food here is quite good. A tad expensive but a great meal none the less.

The food was very good, I order bolognese papardele with ragu but, I think they have wrong concept about ragu, and was excesive sauce and a little bit papardeles, my husband order Chicken parmigiana, the staff was ok, but slow.

Eggplant parmagan was great and worthy of any dinner table in Parma.

“No takeout orders tonight” I was told. Therefore, during the peak of covid they are choosing not to serve those of us who would like to stay safe at home but still support our local businesses. Those priorities do not align with me as a customer.

Pricey (around $20 per person for lunch not including tax and tip) but not out of line for this area. Excellent food, very good wait staff. Excellent bread, excellent calamari appetizer, excellent crab salad. Everything youd expect from a top quality restaurant. My friend had a grilled seafood mix that looked even better ( shrimp, clam, scallops), Ill have to try it next time.

Took a large group and they did a great job taking care of us. The food was flavorful and delicious.The only thing that could have made for a easier evening was asking for separate checks.That said it was a great evening.

They serve big portions and for reasonable rates. very welcoming staff. Kudos.

Service was good and atmosphere pleasant… I should have got the hint w/ the name and ordered pasta! Be careful w/ the Filet Mignon… ordered medium rare, came medium, dry, no juice at all… felt like I was chewing on dry Cheerios! And since when in CA is a $20 glass of wine a splash in the bottom of the glass… too bad!

Spectacularly awful. Took my parents here from Los Gatos for a night out in Pleasanton. Pop was at Parks air base back in the 50s, and they’re now in their late 80s and still together. Maitre d’ stuck us in a corner table and promply forgot us. No water, no bread, no place settings, no menus. 20 minutes later, we got the menus. 20 minutes after that, still nothing, even as later-arriving tables with younger folk got full attention. For the first time in ages, we actually found ourselves forced to leave a restaurant for terrible service, and we got up and left. Out on the sidewalk, the maitre d’ actually came running out, asking if we had paid our bill. Told him I wouldn’t return even if he put a gun to my head. Instead, we walked down the street to Nonni’s. Much better treatment, and some nice old-fashioned respectfulness for my parents.

Very cozy and romantic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Pleasanton downtown. Friendly staff and quick service. I had the best pasta here. It gets crowded during weekends during spring and summer months.

Food was great, a lot of great options on the menu. I would definitely go back to try more, service was great the waiters were really nice and understanding. Definitely worth your time.

Great place to hang out at the little bar at the front. Friendly staff and lovely conversation with friends, old and new alike. Good food from the kitchen too. Pastas is a nice little gem in downtown Pleasanton.

Not a bad place in downtown Pleasanton. I had the pizza with prosciutto and arugula. Its a nice place to dine and enjoy good weather atmosphere.

Everything we ordered tasted amazing! Even the herbs in the olive oil vinegar are amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Cajun Prawn Linguine was awesome. Wife and shared. Enough for the both of us. I liked the SANGRIA, my not so much. It had an interesting finish. Would definitely come again.

I have visited this place twice. The best bruchetta and caprese. The vegetarian choices were limited but amazing. The chef and staff were kind enough to offer options. The good was just amazing. I would reckon this is one of the best Italian restaurants here.

I visit this area once or twice a year. I have always been pleased with the excellent food and service at Pastas! Until last night. (11 months after my first review) The server seemed inexperienced, the Salmon was overcooked and there was an unexpected up charge for asking that the pasta side be changed to vegetables.

Really good food and service. Went in there without a reservation with a group of 10. They sat us next to each other 6 and a 4 seater next to it. Not anymore expensive than most restaurants in Pleasanton.

Some of the best italian food. Get their dark chocolate creme brulee omg! Their cheesecake is thick.

Great food in a cozy atmosphere. Main Street feels like a small town adding to the ambiance.

The food was outstanding but the service was not. Our female waitress was not friendly and treated us as if we were not there. The other server was just about as bad but she at least smiled. We were there on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy.

I don’t see why this place has such great reviews, there are much better Italian restaurants in town. Try Baci which has amazing pasta dishes. We had the chicken picatta and Rogatoni napoletano, both simple dishes but unfortunately, they were very bland and chicken was over cooked in both meals. The wine was nice at least. I would not recommend...
