I found this store from Google. The rating of this shop is really high - 4.9. After I experienced their service, I realized that they deserve that high rating. In my opinion, there are 3 main reasons. 1) Their price is super reasonable and fair, they never scam customers. 2) They customer service is excellent because they communicate to the customers professionally and effectively. Besides, they complete the work on time! 3) The reception desk of the shop is neat and clean. On the day I went to the shop, I saw that there were a lot of Pleasanton local customers who always choose their shop as their first mechanic shop. Most of their customers drive Acura and Lexus. I can tell the customers trust PRECISION AUTO REPAIR.

Kevin and his staff are wonderful to work with! I have been using them on our cars for years. My daughter took her car in and they gave her an estimate. At checkout, Kevin gave her a coupon she had not seen, and reduced her bill! He didn’t have to do that but it shows the quality of person Kevin in and the quality of this establishment. I hands down would refer them to anyone interested in their services.

This is my second time taking my Acura here. First time was Brakes and oil change. This was a general Service. I like the professionalism of the front office people as well as their sense of humor. Everything is neat and clean and my car was ready in a couple hours. I will be back!

Precision Auto has been amazing overall as a service center. Prices are fair and they are really good at diagnosing issues that the dealers could not fix. Flexible scheduling and they offer shuttle service or car service (reasonable fee to use car). Stop wasting your money at the dealers and give these folks a try!

We have dealt with Precision Auto for over a decade. They are always friendly, professional and up front. The 1or 2 times there was a problem they notified us and promptly fixed the problem. As good of an experience getting car repairs as you can have.

My experience wasnt that good. My car needed a starter replacement as the car was not starting instantly. I had to leave my car with them for 2 days. The starter motor replaced by them is making unwanted noise and shaking the car. I have requested them to fix the issue.

I absolutely love precision auto care! They are the best! They explain everything to you so you understand! They don’t try to rip you off! I one time went to the dealership and they told me I needed something done that was really expensive. I came here and they told me nothing was wrong and even brought me in the shop and showed me. Customer service is amazing! Also peanut is the cutest dog ever! I will always come here first! 😊

Have not use the service for a while, few days ago service engine light came on on My 2010 Toyota Prius brought it to Precision Auto to see Kevin (mr. good looking with the suits) knowing this company for more than 30 years I must said the quality and the service are just as professional as 30 years ago. This shop wants to make an honest profit by doing work that is beneficial to their customers. I highly appreciate this and therefore highly recommend them!I was ready to pay for a recent diagnosis that the shop gave, because they told me in advance what it would cost. But, because it wasnt really a fixable problem, they were kind enough to not charge me anything. I didnt ask for that, they offered. This shows character on their part and is the honorable way to do customer service!

Professional and friendly customer service.They transferred all the maintenance records over from the previous owner of my vehicle who had meticulously maintained the Acura MDX and had all service done at Precision.They also let me use one of their vehicles for the afternoon since mine wasn’t ready at the time specified due to unforeseen circumstances.I thought that was so nice and went above and beyond what they had to do.I will definitely continue servicing my SUV with Precision.

Omg I had a good experience i got 3 estimates to fix my abs breaks on a Prius. One for 4234 another one for 4785 and these guys for 440 because all they had to do was reconnect a wire. Guess who I picked :)

Precision Auto Repair fixed a major issue (blown head gasket due to a coolant leak due to failed radiator hose) very professionally, and also charged significantly less than the Subaru dealership despite a more thorough overhaul of the engine. Ken was very helpful in evaluating my vehicle and helping me make the right decision on how much to invest in it given its age. He made multiple calls to explain the diagnosis at each stage of investigation and determine the right next step.

I work as a technician at this shop. When I first started I thought I was a pretty good tech upon starting I soon came to realise that I was a hack in comparison to the professionalism of the shop. I definitely had to step it up a lot to meet their quality of work. We do 98% of work in house that is how we save our customer their money. I just LOVE ..visiting “my guys” at Precision Auto. Kevin wasn’t in his usual tie and suit vest..it was too hot yesterday.They make the time fly by with a beautiful waiting room. Had Precision service my Civic and Acura. In an out within an hour on each day. Now is a great time to visit Precision because of our restrictions. Theyre very conscious of the Virus, where they are careful with not much contact, and even wipes you car FOB with a antiseptic wipe.

I love this place. I think it’s so hard to find an honest car repair place and this one is definitely honest. They don’t beat around the bush, everything is done in a timely manner and a fair price. Also the little waiting area has toy cars which kept my 3 year old boy entertained for an hour each time we are there. I highly recommend this place!

Had to have my car towed to Precision Auto Repair. After some analysis, it was determined that it was a bad starter. The starter was previously replaced and was still under warranty. Very happy with the service I received from Precision Auto Repair. When I walked in to check in my car they greeted me by name (phone conversation) even though it was my first time bringing my car in. Ken did a great job of notifying me at every step. He also called me to let me know what time they closed. I will definitely return for some other work that needs to be completed.

OMG, I cant believe I didnt go here when I first bought my replacement car. These guys were so nice and patient with me and my dust bucket. I was having major issues with my car from a previous mobile mechanic and that mechanic didnt do a good job at my tune up so when I took it into Precision Auto, they gave it to me straight about what was wrong with the car, the cause of it and how to fix it. They genuinely cared about me being able to drive or not and told me whether it was safe or not. I truly appreciate them taking the time to help me out and Ill be back for them to check up on the next replacement car I end up getting. Not taking any more chances. Going straight to Precision!!

Their customer service is incredible! My car threw a rod and punched a hole in the engine in the middle of a trip. I am not from this area and had my car towed to Precision. Kevin assisted me when I got there and was incredibly nice, sensitive to my situation, and ready to help with anything I needed. Precision was quick and accurate and diagnosing the problem, and clear about explaining costs and timeline. Even though I chose to sell the car rather than have it repaired, I was still treated like a VIP customer.

Many examples of a great auto repair shop, but the one that I always tell my friends was a testament to their honesty. I had a fairly old Accura, and I mentioned the stiff ride, which it always had, to Kevin during one of the car’s oil change. After inspection of the shocks and suspension there was no evidence of leaking from the shocks. They said they do not need to be replaced, even though they had over 100,000 miles on them. Thank you Precision. They last till the end. We have been going there since 1991..
