Great experience! Since we bought a used car, we have peace of mind knowing BMW mechanics did a multi-point inspection on the car to ensure it passed BMWs standards which was done prior to listing it for sale. It was a good, no haggle price and Adam did a great job taking care of us. Treated us so nicely by offering water, free tacos while we waited, got color pages for our children to color, filled the car with gas and had the car washed. He even went the extra mile when one component/accessory was missing from the car which we needed. He was able to get that component for us. The purchasing part was also very efficient and smooth and at the end their BWM genius walked us through some features of our new car. Would do business with East Bay BMW again in a heart beat!

When I went to East Bay BMW to look at an M5, I was lucky to have been assisted by the amazing salesperson, James Ylagan. The first time I visited the dealership, I wasn’t exactly ready to make a purchase, but James made me feel so comfortable – I took it for a test drive, and he was totally understanding of the fact that I hadn’t committed to the purchase yet. He didn’t pressure me – he just assured me that his job was to help me however he could. When I called him back 3 days later, he immediately remembered me and was just as professional and conscientious as ever. I told him I wanted to buy it and I went back in to the dealership. When I arrived, my car was freshly washed and staged in the front of the dealership with a placard with my name on it. It may sound funny, but it made me feel really special. He knew I had to move some money around to make the purchase and he was super proactive about helping me find financing and just all around making sure I had an excellent experience. There were some imperfections in the paint job that I pointed out and he immediately knew what to do – taking care of it immediately. All of this was done without pressure, letting me drive, if you will, with him promptly assisting me where he could – and even now, after I’ve made the purchase, he has been helping me with little things – making me feel like I matter and making me feel confident that moving forward, he will be there to make sure I’m taken care of. James Ylagan is an incredible salesperson – like, seriously – amazing, and if you ever want to buy a car and want a wonderful experience, I earnestly recommend him.
I showed up for my service appointment on time. I was helped right away, and everything went very smoothly. Service was concluded in the exact time fashion they said it would be. Everyone I dealt with was very personable and helpful. They did a fantastic job of washing my car after the service, which was not the case at other locations where I got it back and it was actually more dirty. Great experience! Great service! I am a little biased, but my family always owned a BMW, so driving other vehicles didn’t feel the same especially when driving front wheel drive vehicles. Having owned 2 BMW vehicles before, Victoria Alcaraz helped me in my decision and purchase in getting another BMW vehicle. She and her managers have made the purchase smooth. The service department is great as well when they were servicing my previous cars for recalls, maintenance and even major problems.
I have had numerous occasions when I have brought my car in for service here at East Bay BMW, and I have received my car back with incomplete or poorly done work. This has necessitated multiple return visits to fix problems they have caused or left unaddressed. Today was criminal, and I am warning you your car is in danger if you let them touch it.Today I picked up my car from getting the 4G telecom retrofit installed. They didnt code it correctly the first time and gave me my car back with no telecom services, so I was back for the 2nd time for this. When I left them my car yesterday, there was one dent, which was marked on the intake sheet. When they brought it out today, there was a second, much larger dent and scratch on the hood. It looks exactly like the kind of damage youd get from dropping a wrench or something on it.So now there are 2 dents, and there was 1 documented on the intake sheet. Service Manager Joshua Presinal saw this for himself, and still refuses to take responsibility for the damage. So the hood of my car is ruined and I am stuck with it.Before I left, I asked Mr. Presinal why was the 4G coding, which was so easily done in a day, not checked and verified to have installed correctly last week when they first installed it. His response amounted to what I already know about East Bay BMW. They have a skilled set of wonderful, dedicated customer service personnel (they are the reason my rating is keeping 2 stars instead of 1). But they cover up for an establishment which is sloppy, incompetent, and lacking in integrity.And to think, if they had just done their due diligence the first time, this never would have happened.

This was my first experience with east bay BMW. From the excellent call and emails with Joshua the service manager, down to Kier my service provider, it was a good experience. Rosa was good with setting me up on the loaner car and ensuring i was ready to go.Overall my car came in for warranty work but after a diagnosis from the team, it turned out nothing was actually broken or required work. I would come back here again, just make sure you schedule things in advance for a smooth experience. Car was a 2016 BMW M3.

I’m a return customer of East Bay BMW (EBB). I would highly recommend EBB because:1) They are a honest dealership and did not put any markup on top of BMW MSRP Price on new cars.2) Their sales did not play any games with us! They worked really hard to earn my business (my sales is Jesus Martinez).3) They are working efficiently. I went into the dealership at 2.00pm and told them that I must go to pickup my kid at 5.30pm and must leave the dealership by 5.00pm. They had achieved this goal!4) Their finance manger (Chris Lee) is really good man! He had quickly explained different protection packages to me but when I told him that I don’t need anything, he did not “hard sale” us any protection package. Instead, he gave us a basic protection package (covers for 1 wireless car key replacement, brake pad replacement, etc) for just $0.07 more on our monthly payment!

Timely, very professional. I like that I could pay for the repairs online. My advisor sent me text and keep me updated. I also got a video of my inspection. After the job was done, I was able to pick it up with just my phone, since I paid the invoice online. The advisor did a great job explaining the procedure. Experience was amazing.

I had my pre-inspection done here, got the appointment the day before and now they also let me schedule my turn-in at my convenience. Very please with how their service department operates.

I just took delivery of my custom built BMW on May 15. My first time ever building a car custom car and Adam at East Bay BMW was awesome!!! He helped me through the entire process, he was extremely patience, answered all my questions (and stupid ones) and kept me updated during the entire process. The process took over 3 months but it was definitely worth the wait and experience. I highly recommend anyone to East Bay BMW. This review is for the service department. I dropped off my X5 because the engine light came on. I was greeted and led to the waiting room. The lobby was nice with water bottles available. While waiting I noticed there were some staff members opening up my trunk and looking around. Then the guy just manually pushed my tailgate closed without using the automatic tailgate button. I hope that didn’t damage it.Then a service advisor named Kier came out and said sorry because they were comparing the trunk sizes. In my head, I was thinking, you work in a car dealership, there are plenty of cars here that you can use to compare trunk sizes.Anyway, I went home and got a phone call the next day saying that they found the problem but they didn’t have the part to fix it. They offered to give me a loaner that day or get my car back until the part came in later in the week.I opted to get my car back. It’s already been more than a week now and I haven’t received a phone call about the part coming in.The good news is that my engine light had gone off. Maybe it was a fluke or maybe I’ll blow up in my car soon. Who knows?

East Bay BMW provides excellent service. At the start a representative sits down with you and reviews the cars history. The mechanics go over the car checking the various systems, even those that you did not bring the car in for. At times this reveals issues needing work that had not been apparent. Of course, this increases the work that East Bay does, but it can also save you a lot of hassle later.When I picked up my car this time, it was a very hot day. The service manager had parked it in the shade with the air conditioning running, so it was nice and cool. Much appreciated

Our Sales person Colby was great, no complaints about him.Now on the finance side totally different. Purchased a Mini Cooper back in June. At the time I noticed the registration tags were missing I asked Phil about it and if I would get a temporary plate while waiting for the current tags. I was told I wouldn’t get one. 2 months has gone by and I have yet to get my tags. I get pulled over because of it. Officer said I should have been issued a temporary plate. I call the dealership and was told to call DMV to find out where my tags are at. So I did. They told me that payment has been received but the dealership hasn’t sent over the rest of the paperwork and the dealership should have issued a temporary plate as it is a state law now.I call the both the Colby and Phil leave messages 2 days later Phil calls and says that we forgot to sign some paperwork and have to come back in. I tell him I will be in on Saturday to sign the paperwork and I would like to get a temporary plate so I don’t get pulled over again. When I get there, Phil had me sign the paperwork and when I ask about the temporary plates, he argues with me saying there is nothing that they can do. I ask the question if I didn’t call and ask would they even reach out, it’s been 2 months for them to find their mistake and he pushes the blame off the Josie their DMV specialist with a bunch of excuses.From the lack of help provide by them and giving me attitude for their mistake, not ONCE did they every apologize about the mistake or show any kind of empathy.
Ive always trusted the guys at East Bay BMW Maintenance, they are the best at what they do. The video feature is just amazing, you get to see the condition your vehicle is in before it gets work on.

East Bay BMW is the best hands down! I first called on a Saturday and I want to say I spoke with a Bob(?). I feel horrible because I can’t remember his name but he was great. I had a ton of random questions about purchasing a vehicle through them out of state. He was patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. After all my questions were answered he told me if I like that specific car I didn’t need to purchase out of state. They recently had the same car on the lot. I told him I would get back to him if I could get my husband to go. My husband and I went to 2 other BMW dealerships the weekend before and he wasn’t happy with the service. I spoke to my husband that night and he wasn’t excited about it. Valentine’s Day morning my husband said if I wanted to go out to East Bay BMW, he would take me. They have a huge selection to choose from off the lot! When we arrived, we didn’t have an appointment. Everyone seemed busy but one of the guys from inside greeted us at the door and said he will find someone to help us. He introduced us to Adam. Adam was on it from the start! He asked me all the right questions to understand what I was looking for. He pulled out the car I was interested in and another car I really liked so we could compare. He answered all of our questions and gave us great service. My husband and I went back and forth discussing pros/cons on the vehicles and Adam patiently waited. He didn’t make us feel pressured or rushed. My husband doesn’t warm up to people easily but he really enjoyed Adam. Adam made our car purchasing experience a great one! HUGE SHOT-OUT TO ADAM AND BOB! THANK YOU BOTH! It has been about a month and I LOVE MY NEW x5! And to add - In my previous experience after leaving the lot we never heard from or spoke to the dealership again. Adam and Bob both have taken the time to call, checking on the car and if I needed anything additional from the dealership. 1st class service and loving it! East Bay BMW was really good trying to find me the BMW I wanted. After some research of their inventory, they determined that I should custom order my BMW. Jonathan Josephs was helpful and walked me through the whole process. It took 8 weeks to get my BMW from the factory to the dealership, but it was worth the wait. Ill come back to East Bay BMW for next BMW.
I recently purchased my new car, a 2018 BMW X5 from East Bay BMW.( 4/3/21). It was a super easy and carefree experience. I called ahead and spoke with Michael Sutton about the car I had been looking at. I asked him to make sure it was still on the lot and was in excellent condition before I drove almost 3 hours to get it. He did that and promptly got back to me. He said it was in perfect condition- and he was correct!We arrived and he showed us the car and was ready with the keys and paperwork so I could take it for a test drive. I was sold instantly, and he quickly got the ball rolling on paperwork, and got me in line for the finance department. We didnt arrive until later in the evening, and we were there past closing but they were happy to stay and help us out. They got my new car detailed and ready to go while we waited to finish financing.We have one silly issue - there were no bottled waters LOL. We were thirsty, and the vending machines were empty at BMW so we walked over to the Mini deal to get some. As I said,super silly, but after 3 hours we were parched :P But Michael made sure we got water :p Thanks East Bay BMW!
Sales person helped me get a test drive a white M340i certified and he was helpful and everything was fast and straight forward about the financing deal and didnt get a great APR what bmw is offering right now (like 0.9% on new cars) but i got a pretty competitive deal. All in all, I want to thank east bay bmw to help me replace my old car in no time .Thankyou
I want to give my highest rated when I took my 2019 Z4 for oil change and check up on Saturday. My service Advisor was most informative. The service area and lounge was very clean and sanitize. They even text me a video of my car as it was getting inspected and oil changed. East Bay BMW is the only place that does that. They wash my car after .I just waited about 1.5 hours. A satisfied customer..

I brought my 2008 BMW 750Li to diagnose for an engine light indication. After paying $900 for various diagnostics tests and a brand new battery, the car was returned with the engine light indication still active. At the end of the tests no one checked if the engine light was still on.Disappointed after spending $900. Not sure if battery replacement was really needed.
I was impressed by their handling g of an emergency appt. They diagnosed the pro lem quickly and the video review by the technician was very helpful. My only regret is that my extended warranty has expired so the repairs are costly.
I had a part ordered under CPO warranty in November 2020. It’s July and I’ve called and left messages for three different service writers and no one has called me back. Of course now my car is out of warranty.I shouldn’t have to drive 45 minutes just to find out when this part can be installed. Utterly ridiculous.

Although I know the marks are small, when you are spending so much on a car you want things to be perfect! Waited a month for an led strip to come in from Germany, so that’s understandable. I leave my car for the day and for the part to get replaced and get called to pick it up the same day. I’m halfway home and my girlfriend points out that there’s no light coming from the strip that was replaced and she’s pretty upset. Pretty annoying but nothing to get mad about. Just hoping that something wasn’t plugged in and that it’s fixed the next time I come in. Ezekiel has been super helpful and responsive. I understand that it’s not his fault, but I would think that whoever worked on my car would have checked that it was working before giving it back to me. Still my go to BMW location aside from this minor inconvenience.Update: 2 days later, the issue has been fixed and it’s confirmed that it was an issue with a faulty light strip. Wasn’t the service man’s fault. Ezekiel’s been super understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this location.
Everyone within the establishment was friendly, respectful and operated in a timely fashion. After one service was completed I was requested to return on 3/12/21 at 0900 hours for a different service that was needed. After having a short night of sleep due to work, I arrived at my appointment as requested, to learn that the parts needed for this service were on back order. Wasted my time, gas, and money to attend an appointment which I shouldn’t have been at in the first place. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars.

Ok, so as a 1st time BMW buyer I was nervous. However Mario, Charles and Steve from the finance office were amazing! I felt no pressure and felt 100% at ease. Yes I was a bit in shock at 1st with the final sticker price with all the options and extended warranty, but Steve explained it to us and made us feel comfortable! I cant say I will buy my next BMW soon, but I will return here for my purchase when that day comes.2021 BMW 430i in a beautiful green? Cant go wrong. Thanks guys**Update 5/30/2021**: After cleaning my awesome 430I I noticed a few things. 1st no spare tire? Ok no big deal just kind of odd. I also noticed I do not have an owners manual in my car? I checked the trunk, seats and glove box as well as the center console. Do cars not come with these any longer?
Very easy process. Staff was very friendly and did the work I asked for quickly. My advisor Kier, walked me through all the repairs that were done and recommendations that were advised and what was necessary now versus what we could wait on. Great waiting area and was able to work in peace and not be crowded with others who were waiting for their cars too.Great experience.

My Service Advisor did an excellent job of scheduling diagnostic tests, explaining results and providing me with courtesy transportation. Repairs were made on time and resolved the problem. Everything was well documented.

Arrogant salespeople. While I was talking with one, he was constantly looking behind my back where new, older aged customers came in (pobably with more money). The guy simply walked away towards them. He just left me standing there.

East Bay BMW was incredible! My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Our Sales Representative, Adam DeGough, was amazingly down-to-earth, very personable and patient with us as we purchased (and traded our vehicle) for our dream car. Mr DeGough worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable with the contract and everything before we signed anything. We couldnt have had a better experience. Thoroughly happy!
To clarify: This review is for the BMWs Warranty services and not the dealership itself.We own a BMW i3 which we purchased (used) less than two years ago and we also purchased extra warranty to go with it from BMW in San Jose. We haven’t really had to use the warranty and we were happy with the car until recently. We were actually waiting for the BMW electric car instead of buying a Tesla.But last month a dead pixels on the navigation screen showed up which covered about 1in circle (out of the 6.5in navigation screen). We were thinking.. hey this is what we paid for so that we don’t have to worry about.We dropped off the car for repair and 2 days later we were told that they won’t cover the navigation screen unless it was completely “dead”. The fact that 1in of it is not visible isn’t considered a damaged in BMW terms. Maybe that is a special kind of luxury which you only get with BMW.Honestly, it’s not worth my time argue with them. But we’re done with BMW. I hope that Tesla takes cares of its customers better.
Fred (Moreno) in the East Bay BMW Parts Department provided me with excellent service from start to finish. On the phone he spoke courteously, listened to my requests, reviewed his inventory for my product, ordered one of the products from another store when he didnt have it in stock, and called me when my order was ready. When I came to pick my products up, Fred remembered my name, finished the transaction quickly, and then installed my mats and cargo protector, unwrapping them and placing them with care in my new BMW. As he removed the existing rug mats, I asked him if the new protector mats should not go on top of the original rug mats. He answered that by stacking the mats, slipping could occur, which might cause the mat to press dangerously on the pedals. I greatly appreciated his advice, since I would have stacked the mats if I had installed them myself. Fred was professional and knowledgeable, and now I know Ill have a reliable person I can depend on at East Bay BMW.

The level of professionalism Jonathan James provides is rare to find. I told JJ that I was looking for my first luxury car; he showed me “my dream car” but he also understood my income limitations. He was not disappointed when I asked to see a “less expensive car” instead he brought two.. it’s hard to find a car salesman that does not push his needs instead he makes sure the client leaves happy. I will definitely buy another BMW from JJ.
Highly recommend this place. Also houses Acura and Lexus along with BMW, if youre looking for options. Jesus Martinez was my advisor for purchase and working with him until closing was excellent. Takes great care of minor details. Works the best deals and honest about issues if any with used cars.
I had service appointment to change tires on my x3. Everything was okay except two things:- took 2.5 hours for just 2 front wheels- we calculated the price online when book the service and when we arrived manager had different estimate ($150 more than online), but he corrected his estimates after taking a look at our online calculationsAside from it everything was really good.
I like their service especially Michael Sutto. He is very very nice.

I could give 0 star if I can. Horrible to work with the finance manager. Told me I can cancel the service contract within 60 days when I first purchased my car last December. But he went complete ghost on me, after I send email to cancel the $3,500 contract. Never picks up the phone, reply my email like once a week. Now more than 60 days past, that service contract is still on my BMW financial balance account.Emailed the management team, still 0 response. Horrible!!!!
Was searching for a new BMW after having my amazing 1 series for 7 years. Found a great 330i at East Bay BMW and went to go look at it. My brother got his 335i from there a few years back and loves it. Sasan came outside and saw us looking at the cars and was very friendly and helpful. Not the usual car salesmen BS you find at most places. Took the car for a test drive and loved it. Went back the next day and purchased it. Again Sasan was very helpful throughout the whole process and found me a great deal. Buying a car can be stressful and can take hours but this process was surprisingly simple, stress free, and quick. Gabriel helped me with the financial part and made everything very clear for me. Sasan called me a few days after my purchase to check in which I really appreciated. Nice to know they care and not just happy to sell a car and move on. All in all I had a great experience with East Bay BMW and the staff that helped me were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Hope to get the same experience in another 5 years or so when I get another!
