Its a guy and he son. They both know whats going on under your hood. The old guy stayed late and fixed on my truck and it passed no problem. Price is fair. They way better than the smog shop in the hardware store puking lot. That guy was rude.. guy is good..

I was delighted with the service I received on my smog check and was happy with the price. It was done quickly, professionally and courteously. My engines computer wouldnt allow for a test when I first brought it in, but was given helpful advice on how to drive it so that it re-set. I took their recommendation and it was able to be tested when I brough it back. And I was only charged for the initial visit. Ill be using these folks again.

This is my new go to smog check shop! Pleasant Hill Star Smog was fast, reasonably priced and most importantly, honest. It is also clean and efficient.The process is straightforward and they accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, even checks. I went on an early lunch from work expecting it to take a while, boy was I wrong! I swear it seemed like 5 minutes! You really cant ask for more, but just in case, the owner Eric is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient (especially when explaining car stuff to non-car people!). I was the last customer, so there wasnt any wait but based on how quick it was for me I wouldnt expect too long of a wait if there were others in front of you to get smogged. I’ll recommend this place to my friends and family. After all, I was served promptly even though I showed up near their closing time. Thank you once again for your excellent service.

Technician Ali, as always did the necessary smog test for my car, in a polite manner. It has been doing the smog process of all my cars for 4 years. He is a very good technician and polite always to customers. Always explains the process in detail before starting the smog test. He has a smiling face and friendly behavior all the time. Thank you once again for doing the smog check of my car.
