Exceptional customer service! I was traveling with my family, cross country, for our oldest daughter’s wedding and some family vacation when we had the check engine light come on in our RV.We called Utah Diesel service to see if there was any chance they could work us in. Cameron came out and checked the codes as soon as we came into town so we knew what we were dealing with. Ultimately, we needed a new turbo, actuator, and map sensor.That was a lot of work for someone to take on, unplanned, when we were in a time crunch with wedding events. They chased down the parts, overnighted delivery, and stayed late on a Friday night to complete the repairs and enabled us to get to our wedding events. I realize they didn’t have to do all this. But they did do all that, and my family and a new bride/groom are very thankful. I’d recommend Utah Diesel Center in a heartbeat!

We have found our forever mechanic. Ammon went above and beyond. We were struggling figuring out our trucks problems, he took time out of his day to help us out. Dont read the 5 star reviews. They are probably mostly bogus and they are for sure using a reviewer program. The 1 star reviews are real people.These people lie and are very dishonest. They cut the wire on my abs light and said it was all fixed. WOW! I have proof with them saying removed wheels and checked sensor. Replaced... all lies... I removed wheels and sensors were bad.

Do NOT take your trucks here!!!! My truck was towed to a different mechanic shop straight from Utah diesel because work was not done or not done correct that I had paid for. They were dishonest about several things and they had my truck for six months. And it still had the same if not worse issue as when I took it in. I feel like they totally robbed me. $5554 later and still issues.. I wouldn’t ever take my truck there again.

I called Utah diesel center this morning with problems on my 6.5L turbo.after calling 15 other shops that wouldn’t work with me, They had a 3 week waiting list and got me in the shop today knowing my situation. I flew out here from Michigan to buy a truck that started having issues within the first 150 miles. Ammon schmidt not only got me taken care of before the end of the day for my safe travels home but came down on the price to ensure I would be able to afford the rest of the trip home. The service ladies at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone in a pinch who needs someone they can trust to get it right the first time to call them immediately!

Our truck broke down in Spanish Fork UT on I-15 S as it was exiting 257A. I had called about 10 other road service companies but they were unavailable or unreasonable. After an hour of calling, I was finally able to get assistance from Utah Diesel Center. Brandie Raymer was who initially took the call and she had a positive attitude with a great personality.Kevin arrived in about an hour and resolved our fuel line issue promptly and efficiently. Kevin was a true professional with great communication. Thanks to Kevin we will now make our on-time delivery in El Paso TX. Extremely Disgusted with how I was treated I would never recommend this shop

Did the job of changing the oil but they were dishonest about the price!I called asking what an oil change for my F550 motorhome and explained to them that it was it 6.7 motor, the guy that I spoke on the phone with quoted 150.00 which seemed cheap plus he told me that they usually would grease the fittings on it.Let me tell you that my motorhome has total 2000 miles on it, it has been on one camping trip since we bought it.When I dropped it off, the girl that helped me asked if I wanted them to check the fluid levels and I said sure, since it was there I would say why not, and assuming it was part of the oil change.When I came back to pick it up they charged me 267.00, when I explained what I was quoted the gal just said, well somebody is going to be in trouble, Im going to have to talk to him. The guy that I had spoken to did not come out and explained nor apologized for the mistake.Looked at the bill, and they charged me:170.00 for oil change35.00 for looking at the greese fittings22.00 to top the fluidsRemind you, the machine is brand new!!!Worst scammers ever!!! Would never go back nor would I recommend anybody going back to this place!!!Gained and lost a costumer within 3 days!!!Didnt ask for anything, but I would have hoped that since I was quoted one price they would have at least worked with me but there was no chance that girl was going to do anything about it!!!

You installed new turbo... cost $6400 after you had texted me it will cost $3400 I had to pay 300 just for diagnose, I paid extra for exhaust cleaning and after you were done my check engine light was still on.

Incredible customer service!! I called in because I saw so many great reviews. I spoke with Rosalie (she does a great job!) and she had me talk with Cameron. I had an electrical issue in my Peterbilt truck. Cameron said they were swamped but if I dropped by theyd look at it. When I got there they not only looked at it, but Kevin fixed it in 15 minutes. Wow! Kevin did a great job and there wasnt a charge! This company is the real deal. I would recommend them to anyone who has a diesel.

Took our motor home to them for wiring repairs. Got it done in three days, when camping world said it would be 2 to 3 weeks just for parts. The parts charge here was about $20. Camping world wanted around 500, and didnt even bother to call us back. I will never go anywhere but UTAH DIESEL CENTER AGAIN. THEY ARE THE BEST.

They installed a blue def heater for my mercedes sprinter van. The part arrived much later than they expected but they were still able to get it taken care of same day, even stayed late for me to pick the vehicle up. Their service was better than the dealership as was cost. I plan to use them for service instead of the dealership next time.

Most Professional and concerning team I have ever seen. The Utah diesel center has gone above and beyond to help myself and family. We were traveling thru from California to Arkansas when my truck broke down in there area. They were already over loaded with work but when we were in need they didnt hesitate to help us out and get us back on the road. The whole team took concern in my vehicle problem and the bad situation I and my family was in. There prices were more then reasonable. And they all worked quickly to get us back on the road. At the end I tried to tip Cameron $100 dollars and he would not even take it. Every one I met in Utah was great, but Cory and Cameron at the Utah diesel center and the rest of the team has proven to me and my family that there is good honest caring people still out there. I called around several places for the work I needed done. Gillette Diesel Service was about 50% more expensive, and although there were several shops that were less money by a couple of hundred dollars than Utah Diesel Center, I chose them out of convenience to my location.The work was finished in a timely manner, the installation of my parts was clean and professional, and they followed my requested instructions perfectly. The cost was to the dollar of what they had quoted me, and they were very friendly to work with.This was my first time dealing with Utah Diesel Center and Im happy with my experience. I will be back for my other services when the time comes.

Heres the deal, I love my 2002 Ford Excursion with a fully updated 7.3 Diesel. Although I love the truck Im not a mechanic. I have been to several diesel mechanics up and down the valley and paid thousands of dollars for them to work on my truck. Historically I have had to go back several times to get an issue resolved paying dearly every time. A year ago I found Utah Diesel Center. To say they are an answer to prayer would be an understatement. They love my truck as much as I do. They have loved diesel trucks for several generations now from father to sons and it shows. My truck has never run better and I have never felt as confident as I do when I drop my truck off. Thank you Ammon and Cameron for loving my truck as much as I do. It makes all the difference.

Still looking for a good diesel shop... When I show up a previous customer had just arrived because his dump truck overheated before it got to the freeway. This is not a good first impression, but they took care of him as far as I could tell. After I take my 2007 Dodge 2500 in for a high pressure fuel line leak and AC diagnostic I drive about a mile and THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!!! I am overheated on the side of the road. They put my radiator hose on and didnt clamp it. Ridiculous. I take a picture, clamp on the hose and put some anti-freeze in . They reimbursed the anti-freeze and looked over everything.Two weeks later here I am writing this as my truck is on the side of the road again. My fan belt has come off. I call them up to see what they say. They said they never touched it and it wouldnt be covered.They really shouldve offered to look at it for free, but it is probably best I never go back there again. Yes, it is possible that it just happened, however it is quite fishy and they shouldve offered a free diagnosis if they wanted my business after screwing up the first time.Overall: nice, fair prices, incompetent.Sad because I am sure its just a few bad apples in a good shop.

Worst company to work with ever! I took my truck in to have them check on my anti-freeze leak, told me it would be a few hours. They kept my truck for over 24 hours and never called me to let me know anything! I stopped by and called several times. Each time they lied to me or just brushed me off. I explained several times that I needed my truck, they never cared and just kept telling me to wait. Then they ended up fixing the problem WITH OUT CHECKING WITH ME FIRST!!!! I had to pay money for them keeping my truck for over 24 hours and making me miss work, and they never called me. Dont ever use this company! Worst service I have ever received! Worst communication skills ever! I would never wish my enemy to waste their time going to this place!

I wanted better performance with my 2006 Dodge Ram Diesel when pulling my 5th wheel. I ended up getting an awesome Edge Chip and cool air intake system. That made a huge difference and my Truck runs awesome! I would recommend Utah Diesel Center to anyone. They know what they are doing!

UDC is most certainly the go-to place for diesel trucks! They diagnose the issue and fix the problem the first time. They dont throw parts at it until the issue goes away like some other repair shops do. The staff genuinely cares about you and your vehicle. As a new resident to Utah, I now have a mechanic I trust and will stick with for a long while.

Ammon helped me out with a difficult job. He was knowlegable and got it done fast. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The girls in the office are great too.

I had an engine rebuild done, and the overall cost came in at about 50% more than what was quoted. They also did some hydraulic work for me, and this doesnt seem to be their strong point. I had to have the hydraulics redone at a different shop. I also had a seal failure soon after the rebuild which caused an issue with one of the valves. I approached them about warrantying their work since it had only be a matter of months. They refused, and I took it to another shop. Im sure they do good work on some items, but I think you take your chances if you choose this shop.

Traveling, vacation worst possible time to have truck problems...fortunately for us the guys at Utah Diesel Center not only worked us in, got the problem fixed; but also saved us money. Not that empresed boys. 1st time charges were about $100 over but we worked that out. 2nd time I was told to bring it in and leave it for the day. They never got around to look at it or call me to let me know they didnt. I had to call to find out. That truck is my bread and butter, didnt much care for the blow off.

I took my truck to Utah Diesel Center to have a tuner and exhaust put on. I have used them on my dump truck in the past and was always treated right. This time was no exception. Ammon quoted me a price but it ended up being cheaper. I had an issue with a check engine light after I picked up my truck. Ammon was more than willing to address the problem right away. It ended up being some dirty sensors that he didnt work on originally. He took care of the problem and didnt charge me extra for something that I feel I should have paid for. This company rips off hard working Americans! 3 bad diagnostics in a period of 2 weeks they had my vehicle ripped apart. It was very hard to communicate with the owner AMMONS, I never new what was going on brava use I could not get a phone call back after several ignored phone calls from myself!basically they scammed me out of 1500 dollars them to tell me I need a new motor, at the astronomical price of only 10,000 more dollars from me!?!?!? What planet do they think I live on. They were thinking because they had my truck torn apart they would screw me out of another 10 grand ! NO.... I had to pay for there fraud repairs that were not done then I paid to have my ripped apart truck towed from there shop to an honest establishment that knows how to repair a diesel truck!
