*Granite Peaks response to my review*Michael we do not show you ever purchasing a car at Granite Peaks Motor Co?*My response*The purchase is under Megan Christensens name. How many months-long conversations are you having with customers about a vehicle you sold with painted over warning lights and the wrong engine installed that you dont recognize the situation?*Short review*They sold us a vehicle with a dashboard warning light painted over and the WRONG ENGINE INSTALLED. We were never able to register the vehicle because it wont pass emissions. They have done absolutely nothing to help.*My initial review*We bought a 2011 Honda Accord from Granite Peaks. The first time we had the oil changed our mechanic discovered that the airbag warning light had been painted over with black paint. The airbag light had been on, but we did not know because of the paint. The vehicle was in need of an airbag replacement due to recall and we had this done.The first time we tried to register the vehicle (one year after purchase) we were unable to get it registered because it didnt pass emissions. After much back and forth with Granite Peaks and visits to their mechanic, they were unable to help in any way. Trying to figure out the problem ourselves we discovered that the vehicle had the engine swapped out. This information was not disclosed to us when purchasing the vehicle and the engine that was put into our vehicle had substantially more miles on it than the vehicle we purchased. In addition, the engine did not even match the vehicle. It appears that the engine is from a PZEV Honda Accord and our Honda Accord is not the PZEV version which is what is causing the vehicle to fail emissions.So at this point we have spent an incredible amount of time, effort and money trying to figure out the problem. We are unable to register the vehicle because it wont pass emissions. It is useless to us and we will probably end up selling it for a large loss after barely using the car at all. This has put a huge financial burden on our family and has been a horrible experience. Granite Peaks did absolutely nothing to make the situation right. I cannot warn enough against doing business with them.

I bought my mini van from them in 2019, and had an absolutely wonderful, pain-free experience. (This, after another dealership had me literally in tears two days before!) It was a very relaxed environment. They let me browse without any pressure, answered all my questions, and negotiated fairly with me when I decided to buy. I also had some parts that were on order (new mats, etc.), then picked up the license plate later, so I went back a few times. There were super nice each time, remembered me, asked me how my van was working, etc. Almost a year later, and my van is still working perfectly!

They detailed my Dodge Charger and did an unbelievable job!!! I would highly recommend them for there detailing!!! Great job!! Thanks

Fantastic experience with Rick and team. We researched a lot of different minivans and checked out a lot of dealerships. Rick was transparent, honest, and very responsive to our needs and questions. We were able to settle on a great vehicle (2017 Chrysler Pacifica) and a good price for it. He made sure we understood the full process and I didnt feel like I was ever being pitched or given the runaround, which really made me all the more impressed with the dealership. We had them install an after-market DVD player, and the thing looks like it came original with the car. Highly recommend this dealership based on my interaction with them.

Yesterday I bought a 2006 chevy trailblazer from this dealership. Right when we walked in the door the staff was very pleasant and helpful! But the real great part was later on when we were talking numbers. We had agreed upon a price, but then the manager had changed the price to lower than the agreed upon price without telling the salesman. The salesman came back in and gave it to me for the lower price! That is just honest good business!

Bought a vehicle from these guys a little over a year ago, and love the car. $3,600 later I find out they used EBAY PARTS on repairs for low cost on their side, but ended up destroying my savings account. I had to replace the blown turbo, as well as fix the thrown off timing from the eBay timing chain and components. Please be sure to have their cars thoroughly inspected before purchasing.Pros: the customer service is great, the guys are nice, and they replaced the part that caused a check engine light during new my test drive at no cost that I am aware of.

I have bought multiple cars from here. I have referred multiple people here. Always a fair price. They take care of you here. This will always be the first place I look when I’m in need of a new car. There was a time when the website was not up to date. But it has gotten much better.

I came into granite peaks looking for a safe, affordable, quality vehicle, for my family. I was able to get a vehicle that was a lot nicer that what I originally thought I could afford. I didnt feel pressured and felt I was given an honest generous deal on my vehicle. Ive had no problems with my SUV, weve drove it across the country, and had no problems. Ive been driving my SUV for 5 months and Im has happy with it as I was the first the day I bought. If your looking for an honest price, a no pressure environment, and an amazing vehicle shop here!

I bought a black, Jeep Renegade from Granite and the customer service was so good! The car had a few exterior things that were wrong and they made sure that they were fixed. They are a honest company and I would recommend them highly!

If your looking for an honest place to buy a used car, Granite Peaks is the place I would recommend. The part I like the best about their cars, THEY ARE CLEAN!!! Not just run a vacuum through it, they actually clean the vehicle inside and out, top to bottom. Feels like a brand new car. The Audi I bought has been great with no issues, and they gave me a great price on my trade in. Mike was great to work with. There may be a cheaper car out there, but the quality and condition doesnt match what Granite Peaks sells. The only honest used car dealer Ive found, and Ive bought a lot of cars.

This is a fantastic dealership. Mike was fantastic. Honestly, I cant stand salesmen, and he was completely honest, never pushy and answered any questions I had. My car was for a fantastic deal and I have no complaints at all about my experience here. Definitely recommended.

Great experience! Mike was extremely helpful, willing to fix some small things that most dealers wouldnt worry about, and did his best to answer all of our questions. I appreciated the honesty and smoothness of the process. He even filled up the tank of gas before we left with the car. I would highly recommend.

We originally looked at cars through the website. There were several cars in our price range. We found the cars to be clean and in excellent condition. First, my wife and I want to thank Phil for not buying that car. We have been looking for something just like this very clean, low mileage, and reasonably priced Subaru for almost a year; and gladly paid their reasonable retail price and customary, industry fees. Granite Peaks just got that car in, which is in high demand in this area this time of year, a few days ago. I dont blame the owner for sticking to his fair, retail price. I have bought nothing but used cars for 50 years; and, have learned this: It is very hard to pay too much for a clean, well cared for, low mileage car with a lot of years let in it - like this 1999 Outback.Second, Mike, at Granite Peaks, was pleasant, straight forward, honest, and professional. My inspection found the car to be as advertised and described to me by Mike over the phone. Even though I drove 82 mile one-way, it was well worth my time. Additionally, I noticed that the inventory on the lot was all in good condition; which tells me that their buyer knows what he is doing. I recommend checking out this dealership, and their salesman..., I mean, salesperson, Mike.

Mike Carter was a good salesman. He wasnt pushy and gave us a fair price. 4 weeks after we bought the car the back hatch shocks went out. Mike gave me his dealer price and he installed the new ones for free. We also noticed a small leak and Mike had it also fixed. You cant beat that service for a used car. I would highly recommend Granite Peaks Motor Company.

This place is always my go to when looking for a new vehicle. I have bought multiple vehicles from them with no problems at all. There honest and more than fair in their price. The cars are clean and I take pride in what they sell! Honest, fair priced and easy to work with what more could you ask out of used car dealership?

As far as a used dealership I was very impressed. I feel I got a great car and a fair price. Mike was nice to work with and didnt put any pressure on me. I almost bought from them five years ago so this time I decided to check back with them and Im glad I did. Id check back with mike and granite peaks again if I needed a car in the future.

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Accord from Rick and I absolutely love it! Days after I purchased the vehicle it would not start so I called Rick and he took it right back no questions asked! It turns out the car had a bad starter. Once it was fixed I picked up my car and I was on my way. It was great to go in start to finish and not feel any sort of pressure at all and Rick was helpful through the entire process with a smile on his face. I would recommend Granite Peaks to anyone looking for a good car and a great experience!12/27/18 - UPDATED - I took my car in for a flat tire repair and I was asked when I purchased my car. I said it was a few months ago. I was asked to come take a look at my tires and to my surprise all four tires needed to be replaced. I am fine with repairing my vehicles and replacing worn tires, but to have to replace tires that should not have been on the vehicle being sold is different! Shame on my for not taking this car into a mechanic before purchasing it. Just know that these guys have cars on the lot with old, dried out tires. Not to mention the alignment was off as well. Long story short, I left the tire place with a big bill that could have been avoided had these guys decided to have new or semi-new tires on vehicles they are selling. Again, it is my fault for not checking with a mechanic prior to purchasing, but its sad that we have to do that so often these days. I will not purchase another vehicle from these guys and I will be sure to do my due diligence the next time around. I will also mention what I was told after these guys replaced the starter, You had better give us a really good review for replacing the starter and having your car towed! I would think that like any salesman, you would back your product you are selling. I shouldnt have to pay for repairs that should have been taken care of prior to placing the car on the lot.

My wife and I are moving out of state for graduate school. Neither of our cars were likely to make the drive without endless problems, so we decided to get something a bit newer. I am so happy I decided to come to Granite Peaks. Mike has been great from the first time I met him. He has been nothing but straightforward and transparent with all of the details about the RAV4 that we purchased and we couldnt be happier with the car. He is a very pleasant man and I have appreciated his help and getting to know him. When I finally return from school and am in need of another car the first thing I will do is call up Mike and see what Granite Peaks has to offer. Thanks Mike!

Granite Peaks Motors is an honest dealership, they worked with me and helped me get into a car that i wanted. Mike Carter the Salesman was easy to work with and didnt jerk me around. Very nice people. Every car i looked at was clean and for a fair price. I will definetley come back here when I purchase cars for the future.

Mike was honest and upfront with us, but thats all the good I have to say. They were stubborn with their sticker price and wouldnt budge even $100. Our sales rep came off feeling like he had no control and kept calling his manager (who was not there) to see if he could make our counter offer happen. Nothing. We decided maybe it would be worth it just to pay the price, but the doc fee alone was THREE HUNDRED dollars, which he refused to even wave. The combined fees on the car (priced at $5400) was about $950 (total price was ~$6350). Overall they seem stingy and unwilling to accomodate. Never going there again.

5 stars is not enough for Mike. I drove 5.5 hours to purchase a vehicle, and i will do it again when its time for a new purchase. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, even if your from out of state.

Bought a Tahoe from them and just went to trade it in and learned that they had sold us a vehicle that had been wrecked. Asked them if it had been wrecked and they told us it had a clean report. Very disappointed and wouldnt refer them to anyone.
