Wonderful learning center! The teachers and administrators are very caring and well trained professionals.

Do not waste your money, they are all about money, zero care for students. Unprofessional, ineffective and impatient. This is the worst decision I’ve ever made for my child.

My son was behind a grade level when he started here. And now he is at grade level and working to be above grade level. All of the staff is very professional and very friendly. Absolutely would recommend this place for tutoring.

Sometimes the people you try to help the most are the ones who cause you pain, and often people review from an outside perspective not from one of personal experience. I am the owner of this Huntington Learning Center in Plantation and the review below is written by the boyfriend of an employee who had been trained and promoted. Thousands of dollars were spent to train an employee that admitted due to HER OWN personal circumstances could not handle the job and STEPPED DOWN. This employee was not fired, and was given all of the opportunity to go back to doing what she loves to do.... teach... and then remove her from the administrative tasks that had proven to be overwhelming to her. I am sad this was written this way. Maybe the boyfriend is not aware of the true circumstances but hopefully there will be an honest exchange between them and this employee will continue to help students grow and be successful. I have held no ill will to this employee, had no issue with allowing her to stay part of this family that she has said she still wants to be a part of. She is currently still here, so it may not be so bad after all. I have been extremely fair and hope that this was an emotional reaction to something the boyfriend does not understand. I do hope that he will reach out to me if there is still an issue, and even possibly retract his comments if he feels differently after the month has passed and she is working here 5 days per week every morning. Anyone that would like to come in, meet me, meet my staff, interview students, parents and teachers are truly welcome. I recommended this place to my wife and this resulted in a terrible experience.A lot of time and money and they prepared our daughter OR THE WRONG TEST!!!!!We want an explanation and they dont even respond the messages.USELESS TUTORING

I searched around for cheaper prices and came upon Huntington for the location and the promotion at the time.I was really upset about the unorganization. There was no sign-in sheet, I would sit for a long while before being seen and was mistaken for another child.Then when my child took her placement test, I never received a call back. I had to call into the 1800 number to remind for a call back on consultation. Then finally when i came in for the reading of the test results, I was told that I would receive a call back to remind of pricing and scheduling, months later, I still have not received a call back.After seeing the overall reviews, I am shocked that my experience has been so nonexistant.I had wondered if my child DID attend, if I would had to remind them about her scheduling or gotten mixed up with another child just as the beginning turned out.I most likely will not return to this place.

This center has helped my son so much, we have nothing but appreciation for all their help. In 50 hours of tutoring he has bump up 3 reading levels. We still have a a long way to go.

I dont have a Student that attends this tutoring center. I am a concerned spouse of an employee that works here. This center is highly disorganized, treats their teachers like dogs, (the way they speak to them and order them around) and there always understaffed and overbooked. This place is trying to suck every dollars they can out of the business. Yes there are caring teachers here, but the ownership of the company cares nothing about their employees or the students that attend. Their only concern is profit. NOT THE STUDENTS AND CERTAINLY NOT THE TEACHERS THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! I feel so bad for the verbally abused and down right humiliated teachers that have to work here part time, in addition to their full time jobs because a teachers salary alone cant up hold a life. I suggest to anyone that reads this to reconsider The Huntington learning center of Plantation. Adding additional students here will only increase the amount of stress these teachers are under. Boycott this center. Save the Teachers!!!!! TEACHERS STAND UP UNITE AND PUT AN END TO ALL THIS HARM

For the most part, I like the service from the teachers that my child is receiving, but the head of the center, Kilee Machado, is a NIGHTMARE. She’s very snappy, rude, and inconsiderate, even to the children. While my child is improving, I almost considered leaving the center just because of her, and relocating elsewhere. I don’t know if it’s a racial thing, or if she’s just like that as a person to everyone. But either way, she needs to change because if not, I’ll take my money elsewhere. If you want to give your child test prep with Huntington, don’t go to the Plantation or Pines center if you want a pleasant experience. She doesn’t need to be working with children, because she is truly a nightmare and doesn’t seem to care for the teachers that work there either. Please take my word for this!
