I constantly receive mail that was addressed to my neighbors. In the past, I would re-deliver it myself. No longer. It’s not just one piece of mail; yesterday my box was full of mail for neighbors. A couple of months ago, I was waiting for a very important document that I never received. I’m sure it was delivered to the wrong address. I’ve tried to call and no one ever answers the phone. If this kind of service we receive for our tax dollars, it’s a waste of money. I doubt anyone will read this and reply.Thank you
Delivered my package to the wrong address. They will not answer the phone. USPS has the worst customer service!
They are always screwing up my mail. The postman sent Our Stimulus check to completely different building in my complex ( Polynesian Gardens). So sad postman keep putting other people mail in my mailbox also despite there is a note that have our names taped in the mailbox so it’s easy for them to check what mail they’re putting in.
I went yesterday to send a package and I really appreciate how nice and efficient was the lady taking care of me What i saw every time was those people at post office realize u know what to do and how .She was different She helped me since the beginning till the end I know this place is always busy but a great employee can make a huge difference.Than u
Line was not a problem, moved fast, clerks are professional and polite. Even apologized for the wait time.Problem is when a clerk from the back asks a customer to watch the door and tell upcoming customers that it is closed. The last person in line is the final transaction at the window for the day.So I did try to get her attention to tell her that a guy came in after but went into lobby and then came out and planned to use the outer lobby self service machine. She was distracted and trying to move the line so was not able to pay attention to me because in addition to that I wanted to whisper that he took a roll of tape and a ready post envelope from inside. He became beligerant with me and wondered why what he was doing was my concern. I simply replied what I was asked to do and that it was not a big deal. He continued his rant to which I replied to take it easy and chill. The clerk approached him to explain and apparently he was not polite to her either. Meanwhile he gets away with stealing merchandise and being a very angry, unnecessarily outspoken young man. What a world. An employee should tell customers when it is closed, not other customers. That simple little interaction with the wrong person which clearly it was could have escalated to something much worse and alot uglier. Not a pleasant experience at all. Actually a bit frightening in this day and age.
HORRIFICWait times. Very understaffed.Slow service
I’m really surprised by the amount of negative reviews. I LOVE this post office. I have been to so many, and I purposely drive out of my way to get this one. Yes, the lines are long, but it moves relatively fast. I don’t use any other location but this one because of the excellent customer service.
Not sure of why there are so many negative reviews. Ive had nothing but positive experiences at this location, and I am there plenty. Im usually helped by Dana, who is friendly and knowledgeable. Parking can be challenging at times, but I have no problem with the staff or my mail carrier. Lauderhill was the complete opposite.
I love this post office. The lines might be long but it moves fast compared to other usps locations!
Staff is very helpful & knowledgeable. The line is always long and parking is horrible on busy days . They need to be more strict with in forcing social distancing and mask wearing due to Covid. Today while waiting I saw 2 people come into the building to check mailboxes and they weren’t wearing a mask; an employee saw them and she didn’t say anything.
Line is long but its moving fast. Staffs were nice.
This location is has a very lazy staff, there is always a line out the door mail is never delivered on time, The manager Elizabeth is useless and has no clue on how to run/manage a business.
4 out of 5 because my last experience was actually pleasant. Robin helped me and she was very friendly (which is unusual for this location). They do have an automated mailing machine (which is usually broken), but was working as of Nov 1, 2016. Unfortunately they closed down a post office closer to me off of 595 and Hiatus. Be warned during the day, this place can be packed and a simple task and take 40 minutes. My advice, enable the traffic feature in your map to see if its worth your time coming here.
Worst postal service in the entire world!
This rating is being provided by an American that has used USPS from a child. This Plantation location is the BEST office I’ve experienced in my entire life. The staff is fast and efficient without the attitude. If you have to wait in line it is what it is. I suggest you open an account online and have your packages ship ready to avoid waiting. It literally takes a few minutes and saves hours opposed to waiting in line.🇺🇸
A lady helped me learn something new, thank you!
Been calling this PO for DAYS! NO ONE EVER answers no matter when you call. I hope they ALL lose their jobs. This is a hell of a way to run a public service with ZERO professional management. They deserve all the negative jokes about them..
06/29/2020 - I just witnessed the mail lady delivering my mail and blatantly ignore the outgoing stamped letter. We have been having delivery issues for quite a while; on our entire street. Started last year, so COVID can’t be to blame. If you call the 1-800 number for customer service, the automated system only has two options: 1) haven’t received mail in 1-2 days, and 2) haven’t received mail for 3 or more days. No way of speaking to a representative or leaving a message for other issues that need to be addressed. At one point we had almost the entire street going up to the post office to file a complaint due to missed delivery; nothing. Twice I got a call from the supervisor who left a message to call him, but when I did, it just rings and rings. It’s no wonder more and more people are moving toward electronic communication and bill paying.I hate to say it, but how much money would taxpayers save if this service disappeared?
They really nice and helpful i really dont know why so many people gave one star? Every single time i go they are outstanding.
The staff is pretty helpful & friendly, which is rare for the port office. They work pretty quickly as well. I usually in & out at this location regardless of what time I go in.
This branch is absolutely the worst. If I had the opportunity to opt out of USPS, for any sort of deliveries, I would. I wish Amazon would abandon them totally. Anytime I have a supposed weekend delivery, there are issues. Reasons given: wrong address, no access to front door, and a litany of other excuses. It might be time for their privatization.
Mail carriers dont scan packages and arent wearing masks. Management says its ok as long as their alone they dont have to wear a mask. Its still required to wear a mask in public spaces within Broward county.
I came here for a change of address and P.O. Box. I honestly thought it was going to be a horrible experience so I was ready for a fight. But then I met I wonderful, intelligent, and very sweet postal clerk. I believe her name is Vivian, don’t hold me to that name. Just remember it started with a “V.” Nevertheless, she was very helpful, she explained what I needed to proceed and she told me when I get it together to come back directly to her and not to wait on line, which was very long. That was enough to write this positive review. And I don’t write reviews. So it was a great experience and I would recommend this station to friends. Keep up the good work.
To start I think it is ridiculous that I have to pay $3.99 for tape. The young man by the name of Everette was VERY! Disrespectful. I kindly asked him if there was a black sharpie/marker I could borrow to make some adjustments to my package. His response was No what would I be doing with that. I was a bit startled by his response, but I kept it cute. He did not inform me of where my tracking number was on my receipt either. I then asked him what his name was, and his reply was look at my badge the manner in which he spoke was very rude, disrespectful and depressing. I strongly believe it would be best if he received additional training. The young lady at the other counter was so friendly and polite.
The staff at USPS in Plantation are extremely helpful and hospitable during my weekly visits. I highly recommend shipping your packages here.
I take between 200 and 300 hundred packages to this post office, but the manager doesnt want me to keep bringing business to this location. Usually in other locations, they send me through back door, where they receive bulk mail, but in this location, I knock and ring the bell, but they dont open the door, even though there is always somebody standing behind it. The manager is rude, she has told me several times, that they already have too much work.
I do not understand how there is no accountability at all with the couriers. For years my birthday and holiday cards went missing no matter how many reports I filed, and now rather then deliver my mail and packages they are returning them to sender because my address no longer exists? I recieved a package from the same company for the same items on April 11th (delivered to my door) and regular mail on April 13th (delivered in my mail box) yet now April 17th I was notified through my dashboard thats connected with my address and everything that There is no such address, package is returned to sender. The USPS dashboard and package both have the correct address, so where did the courier go that they cant find it...seeing as my neighbors got mail. The package was not very heavy so I cant imagine they didnt want to lift it....
I am very unsatisfied with my experience with this postal service. I ordered a package through Amazon, and Amazon stated that it shall be shipped by USPS at 8:00PM on Saturday. Today is Saturday and I still havent received my package and it is 9:15PM. I then check my Amazon account and they claim that I requested to hold my package at the postal office. That is absolutely not true! Now I must wait until next Monday. Which is too late for me to receive this VERY important package. All in all, beware of their tricky schemes. They try to make it seem like you werent home to receive your package when in fact I was waiting near my door for it! I AM VERY UNSATISFIED!!! Honestly, is this what they consider good service? :-(
I love this location everyone is very polite and friendly especially VIRGINIA. She is amazing always willing to help and answer all the questions you may have with the best attitude .. ALWAYS!! THANK YOU ..
There is no wonder why the Postal Service looses a fortune every year, I tried calling the local phone # for this branch(33324) at least 20 times in the last 4 days. It rings Continuously and then there’s no answer and you are disconnected. It forced me to drive to their branch wait 30 minutes in line just to have one simple question answered!!! Our government employees efficiency at work! What a joke!
Such an amazing experience was greeted by a gentleman and later on helped by such a customer service oriented lady I came to pick up my package which the sender had forgotten to place apt # she took the time to go to the back and look this is the type of workers we need for USPS postal service they make you want to come back and leave with a smile on your face!!! I previously went to the postal office on 441 and broward and service was a 2 out of 10. But this location left me astonished and I just needed to let you all know what an amazing job they are doing 😍😍
Received email notice my package was delivered but it was not. When I called the automated the automated voice said the wait time was between one hour and forty minutes to two hours. I was unable to do a survey until after the representative answered so I did not wait but hung up. I have the phone number for the local post office but no one ever answers..it just rings and rings..I wish companies would never ship via USPS..terrible service
I usually have a good experience here but today they had one clerk working and the person he was helping took 10 minutes. A second person came after taking at least 5 minutes to get her stuff. The first person left leaving us with one person again. Two people left the line because it was taking so long. There are many older people here and standing for 30 minutes is very painful, myself included. I finished after 35 minutes.....
They dont answer the phone, they make you pick up packages addressed to your residence for no reason. They are a historical artifact that no longer has any use in our era. Just plain horrible.
Today I was anxiously awaiting a package that did in fact arrive. However, the carrier placed it in the larger collection box #1 in which the key doesnt work. So I am unable to get my package. This has happened before and they are aware of it, and not just from me but from my neighbors as well. The last time this happened to me was Christmas, so why has it not been corrected 6 months later? IDIOTS.
Deliver my mail how stupid are you2 vanishing packages in the same week
Service all depends on the time of day and year. On a good day, its a quick easy stop and youll receive pleasant service. Around lunchtime and on holidays, always a line. Some staff are great- greeting customers and offering smiles, keeping things moving. Other staff dont much care about level of service or smiles OR how long the line wait is. Self service area is almost always your best bet.
I’ve never been to a postal office where customer service was just excellent. Virginia took care of my international shipping and she was just the nicest person, super patient, kind, smiling all the time, ever nice and kind to her coworkers. Very very nice experience, keep it up Virginia!
No way to talk to a human being when they screw your delivery up. Apparently they cant deliver to a business if it requires them to knock on the door or ring the doorbell. You can wait on hold for 2 hours to talk to someone and then they either go home and leave you on hold or just hang up on you. Worst customer experience every. single. time.
THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. No one is held accountable for anything. Dear Postal Employees: Looking over my head and ignoring me does not make me go away. My package said delivered and by Janet at 1:43pm & “handed to agent at counter.” The response I get- “They can write anything on there...we don’t know if it’s here or not.”
I waited for 30 minutes this morning to pick up certified mail. One attendant at the desk with a line.....Someone from the back looked out to apologize for the wait but no one bothered to assist. Unbelievable!!!
This place is the definition of chaos. Do not come in here and stand in line thinking the cashiers can help you unless your in the right line. On top of that, dont expect to know which line does what or what hours which lines only do specific processing. Picking up a package? It MIGHT be the far left counter. It is always busy in here and the cashiers lack courtesy. Ive come in here 3 or 4 times and hate every time that I do. Same result each time. Im either standing at the end to pick up only to be told they are not doing that at the moment and have to get in the back of the line after waiting 15 minutes or waiting 15 minutes in line to find out they cannot leave the counter.
Waited all day for my package I was tracking and nothing ever came. 11pm at night I get a text that my package could be picked up at the local office as requested by the customer. Well what customer was that because I wanted it delivered to my home like it said on the package. Get to the post office before they open so I can get in and out with no problems. I was wrong waited 2 hours just to be told the mail carrier tried to deliver it yesterday but nobody was home. The lies.. I have cameras all around my home and she delivered all my other mail. So why not this package. She needs to be removed from this route because this isn’t the first time people around here have had trouble with our mail. She even leaves the mailboxes open so anyone can just walk up and take your mail. I better have my passport in the mail today or I’ll be contacting the police department.
Everytime I have come here I have been in and out with nice employees. My favorite post office
The best and fastest service in Plantation!. Employees are very polite and always ready to help.
Dropped off my package in the drop box early Friday morning it is now Monday and the package was never scanned and I paid for 2 day delivery which is now late. I have an open case against them. They do not answer their phones and seem to have no cares in the world for doing their job. Worst Post Office I have EVER been too.
Very professional and kind staff
The best customer service I have ever received. Employees are fast and accurate. The ladie that assisted me she helped me with my package. Went above and beyond to get my package ready to sent to my family. I love this office. No complains.
This place is a terrible post office. I wish nobody having to go there. For package pick ups it is never clear which line to wait in usually they make you wait in the wrong line, when you get to the counter they send you to the next waiting lane. Sometimes there is a pick up line, sometime you got wait in the overall line. I recommended them to setup a sign, but nothing happened.I had packages shipped to my PO box and tracking info says delivered to the post office but the shipment sometimes does not make it to the PO box and gets lost inside the Post Office or arrives weeks or month later at PO Box.My recommendation if possible avoid this place.
Service has been horrible. They said the package delivery was attempted but when we went to post office to pick up package, they had no record of it. So, I called 800#, they showed the package there and I requested rede livery. That was 4 days ago. Still not delivered and no updated tracking information. I dont know where my package is. Unbelievably bad service. Im so frustrated and disappointed.
Nice people but severe understaffed. Only one clerk after a long weekend. Poor manage office.
I cant believe Im giving the Post Office a 5 star review but the last three times I have been here have been pleasant and not what is normally expected upon arrival. However, last time I was there I still had skepticism about going in and waiting in line because I had 30 packages to individually ship out due to the site being down. My attendant at the counter was Lisa and she was a SAINT. I cant express how calm, collected and sweet she was. We talked the whole time and I actually left HAPPY and not frustrated. So for whoever reads this, I will be sending a letter directly to your HQ but LISA is amazing!! She was working on July 2 in the AM if you have more than one Lisa :)
Plantation Post office employees are hard working, friendly, and the same people i have dealt with for 15 yrs. For those that had a bad experience, that was probably a one time affair. I am very appreciative of this operation that has fair rates and consistent delivery performance, Thank you very much!
They cant figure out how to redeliver a package. I have requested them to redeliver it 3 times now and they wont do it. I have better things to do than go to the office and wait in line for half an hour while you check in the back. This place needs a major staffing change.
I had an unusual issue with some packages that I mailed today at this location and the employee was exceptionally helpful. Very happy with the service!
Tried over and over again to call the branch. NEVER an answer. The phone always hangs up on me. Called the national number, and they verified that they cannot get anyone to answer either. Referred me the the Postmaster in Miami. Finally on a Sunday morning the postmaster called me from Plantation. We supposedly resolved my problem (CA129303652)I was happy. Guess what? no resolution. Its like she never passed on the info to her own employees. Back to no answer, then call national, then reopen the case #, now waiting for a call back. Just dialed the number 9 times and got hung up on EVERY time. Our postal delivery person stopped by to tell us that we have a pile of mail at the post office, but she is not going to deliver it. This is weeks after the postmaster okayed everything. Also after calls about another postal worker who would not deliver the mail, and told all my tenants that they were not going to get any mail. Horrible. Still calling.
Ive been trying to call all day and the phone just rings and rings...when tracking my package it was said that the delivery was attempted but that was a lie. I dont understand why no one can answer the phone in any case..they should prefer to speak with me over the phone and not deal with me in person because Im going to go in person and show them how to do their job
As post office Has people that dont care as a taxpayer I think we should change that to get a better Postal Service if you dont like your job you should find a job that you like not let the public suffer because youre unhappy with your job Im sure theres a lot of people that would love that Job every time I call the post office the phone rings and it rains and it rains and then finally someone hangs out and I proceed to call back again and the same thing happens why bother having having a phone when you dont answer it . I really cant understand why my address is on a package and it gets delivered to another address at Mays the Postal Service really doesnt care or they hire stupid people I am so disappointed in the Postal Service #FindANewJobPostalWorkers
My personal opinion is this is the fastest post office ive been too, maybe ive just been lucky over 5 times idk..they always have had 3 clerks and they know what theyre doing so service is always nice. line disappears fast if there is one. maybe its offensive to people who dont know how to send stuff? Always glad to mail stuff out thru this branch.
In this work setting there is no incentive to excel. There is also employees that will not react well when they are out performed. This creates an environment that seeks the lowest level of service tolerated by management. This is how a government protected agency operates. It is infuriating to go there and see people walking around like drugged zombies. I guess it is better than people sitting home and collecting money for not working. It breeds a mentality that, doing your best as a goal of self fulfillment, is futile. That leads some employees to a depressed state.
Staff is nice, very busy. They do their best in a challenging place. The wait depends on the time of day you are there. Extended hours help.
I completely hate usps. There customer service is horrible! Horrible! They were suppose to deliver a package they said that they did but they never did then I go to the post office in person and try to pick it up because that’s the option I choose. They tell me they have no idea where it is. That the driver could of tossed it somewhere in the truck so it could still be on the truck. But that driver has a day off today so they can’t find out. The women that helped me out i don’t know if it was a manger or what because she was dress in more causal clothes not uniform. She was very rude. I will never use them again!!!
Ive never seen employees move so slow as at this location. Also the kiosk is always broken.
It sucks. Some employees are good and helpful, some miserable. The office is horribly organized. This is not available and that does not work. Endless, slow moving lines at all times. Absolutely NO WAY to get anyone to pick up the phone at any time. The only reason I am giving two stars is that some employees are really good, but there is only so much they can do in this horrible place.
The Supervisor Terry at this USPS store is incredible. He took the time to scour the whole back room to find a small package for my brothers wedding. He really saved the day!
Good Post Office. Friendly and helpful staff. A little understaffed at certain hours.
I wish I could give negative stars. Awful customer service. I called everyday for a week and someone would just pick up the phone and hang up. I had to take a day off of work to go in person to ask a question and they told me to wait outside for the mailman and ask them. What? !! So awful. Havent been able to get my mail for a month.
Very informative about procedures when picking up mail. fast enough service.
Went there twice to find a package that wasnt just left at my door for no apparent reason when I wasnt home (Supervisors said it themselves why the driver did not drop it off). I got no phone calls or anything about my package nor a slip saying the package wasnt delivered.
They are always hijacking my parcels for no reason. I order products online and one male driver refuses to leave my packages. I dont have the time to pick them up, especially when no signature is required. I call to have it redelivered, fill out the form, leave it on the door, and the idiot still didnt deliver it. There has been no thefts in my area. Ups and FedEx leaves my packages! Please keep him off my route
All the workers are friendly and the attention is very, very good. 🙌👏👍
Missing mails and packages! Tracking said it was delivered into my secured mailbox. I never got a parcel. Crappie service, bad postman! My mails were delivered to my neighbors many times in the past. I am getting my neighbors mails as well!
I went on vacation and, as always I do, online I put a hold for mail for that period of time. After returning, when I went to my mail box, it was empty, despite I asked online to bring my mail on that date. I went to the office to pick it up, and they said that they didnt have it, but the mailman probably had it. When I contacted the mailman, and showed him the written proof of my hold, he said that the office didnt tell him about the hold and, therefore, he returned all my mail to the senders. I was out almost a month, and all the mail I couldnt get caused me big problems. Its unbelievable that they return the mail without verifying first if there is a hold. It seems that this office doesnt understand the importance of the mail.
The only star this applies to is the man working in the front. He was attentive and kind. HOWEVER the woman on the far end that he had referred me to was unhelpful and rude, continuously cutting me off with the same redundant “ma’am” every time I tried to ask a question. Already bad enough trying to get a hold of USPS by phone, coming to this place was almost equally disappointing (just because the man I had spoke to at first had enough common courtesy to excuse his coworker).
Avoid mailing through this branch of usps. The line is always extremely congested and the associates dont know what an indoor voice is . One associate in particular spoke so loud that every customer in the room could over hear the dilemma he was having. Privacy is very important in this line of work and that is completely over stepping boundaries.
I had a family drawing done as a Christmas gift. Clearly marked PLEASE DO NOT NEED THIS IS HOW IT WAS DELIVERED AT LEFT AT MY DOOR... CARRIER DIDNT EVEN KNOCK LEFT IT ON THE FLOOR
How does a United States Post office simply just not answer their phone for 2 straight days. I must have called 30 times for a package they re-directed with no notice to me, and still no answer.
First time at a post office where it was not crowded and the staff was helpful in helping to fold the priority boxes and deliver the package.
Best USPS office in Plantation.
***** Do Not Use******You people suck so hard how do you deliver a package that is on the other side of town? You guys dont even check the addresses otherwise you would have know you werent near 69th ave. This branch is why people hate the USPS so much I will never send another package through this one again. Oh and to the postmaster you suck so hard i hope they terminate you
Quick, polite, helpful. I wasnt sure the best way to send it and Nate was most helpful.
Always smiling and willing to help ! Of course there are always lines like any post office but never unfriendly service and surely show care and concern for how your package is packaged up to be delivered safely ! Thank you !
This post office does get busy. I can see how frustrating it would be if phones are not answered but to be degrading, judgemental and insulting in your comments ! Is that the type of attitude you take with you when you go there ! Do you take the time to say hello, how has your day been going? I appreciate what you do etc. Do you consider if someone is dealing with a sick relative or illness themself etc. For many who complained, try having a 33313 zip in Plantation, one minute from this post office and having to go to Oaklands main office for pick ups. In 2017 it would be nice and encouraging to think of others more and start counting our blessings. This does not however mean to accept poor service but to handle it humanely,i speak for myself also,we are all stressedat times. All the best to all, including service workers in the New year.
Helpful staff. Small, friendly P.O.
Every time I visit, I wonder why they don’t have tape and waste everyone’s time
4:15 pm 21 people in line one active person working the counterThey continue to deliver mail to the wrong address.I have written the postmaster generalThey just don care.Dont know why they have a telephone - they NEVER answer it- even when you are returning a call they placed to you.
The worst post office in the area. Very disorganized, slow and inconsiderate. Counter people are rude, and unwilling to help. Waited in main line for 45 min. Just To pick up a package. Was re-detected to a package pick up line just to wait another 30 min., then told to go back to main line ! Counter lady threaten the line up of people with a police after several individuals expressed their concern about lack of help. If given a choice, would ever step a foot in this place, but since this is the closest post office to my house, I have to deal with it.
Staff is rude and not helpful in resolving my issue. I am not satisfied with service.
They are awful. Worst service imaginable. Delivered package once, and because I was out and needed signature, they left a notice May 25. I signed it and taped it to my mail box. Post person took it and NEVER REDELIVERED PACKAGE NOR ANOTHER NOTICE.. plus, lazy sods wont answer phone. Post person keeps sending my mail to 74 avenue and I live on 74 terrace!!
Horrible service, got priority express guaranteed overnight mail several times and several times it ends up being scanned for 2-day delivery. Employees talk on their personal phones instead of helping customers in line. I DO NOT recommend this place what so ever.
Why have a phone but never answer it???? Literally was told to call you by the National call center and you guys haven’t answered all day, it’s ok though I’ll be there tomorrow and don’t worry I already put in complaint about the management!
Packages never get delivered. Tracking always says that a notice has been left but I havent found one yet. This has happened many times in the past I assumed that it was because of the packages being large but its even happening with small packages. This post office must have some of the laziest people working for it. It just doesnt make sense. 5 months later nothing has changed. How do so many incompetent people end up working for the usps. 🍕💩. Once again small package not delivered. Tracking says notice left and I can’t find it as usual. From what I hear this is the way the usps operates across the country now. The usps is a total disgrace.
Dropped a package last week and they managed to lose it. I called 20 times they dont answer or answer and hangup on me. Very bad service.
Impolite, cold personnel. They make you feel as if you are not paying for the service. Its a pain having to go there. Package has been sitiing there for 2 days and has not yet been delivered...It cant get any worse...
