Ive been training here for almost 2 years. Ive had martial arts experience elsewhere and I have to say this is the most welcoming and enjoyable place to train! Our instructor, Sam, is very knowledgeable and patient. Whether youre looking for an after-school program for your kids or looking to train yourself, this is the place to be!

I come to open mat on Fridays. Everyone is very nice. Highly recommend!

If youre looking to get into MMA or improve your skills (which you can always do) then I recommend this gym. The people here are knowledgeable, and likeable and overall it was a good experience. My first day was not a training session, but open mat, and I had a blast. Im not sure how the other days are but I assume they will be great as well. Coming from someone who has loved fighting for years Id really recommend this gym.

My son loves the grappling free style at the end of each class. Kids classes are Monday-thursday 5:45pm-6:30pm

I came here and did a trial. Really enjoyed it. The teacher is a great guy, and will spend time with you individually if you want it. Few of the people that attended the class were also very nice. Will be signing up soon hopefully if my schedule permits me.

Great place to train. Sam is a very humble guy to train under and his knowledge of bjj is second to none. Me and my daughter both train at cross guard and we both love it. I would encourage anyone to come down and check this place out!

This place is awesome. Good humble people willing to work with people from out of town, and make them feel like family. Absolutely loved it. Recommend them 100 %.Hard to find a legit black belt willing to share all his knowledge take advantage people! I have to drive 2 and a half hrs from home just to find a legit Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt to train with. 5 stars. COME CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. Their kids program is legit too!

Best BJJ school in Plant City and the Head Coach and Owner Samuel Kimmel does an amazing job with the kids AND the adults. Happy to call this new gym home for now!

I’ve been training at Carlson Gracie PC for about 3 months now and love it. Only regret is not starting years ago. Everyone I’ve worked with has been awesome and I’ve learned something from each training partner.

Ive never made so much physical and mental progress in such a short amount of time.I am humbled daily and its somethings I think everyone could use in their life.Even more impressive, I never feel like a little fish in a ocean of sharks. It was pretty cool watching them guys wrestle and Sam teaching them how to do more moves. Sam is a awesome instructor.

Amazing gym

I was visiting from out of town and looking for a place to train. I found Professor Samuel Kimmels gym a very welcoming place. He was very hospitable and his students were friendly. The location was good and easy to find. The gym was clean and well kept. I could tell that Professor Samuel took much pride in his school, his students, and his jiu jitsu. Had a BLAST, Professor! It was a pleasure to come and visit, and I hope to come back very soon.
