What a great AC company! Had thermostat issue on a Saturday evening (no AC in the summer). The company had someone at my door in 15 minutes. Replaced thermostat in 20 minutes. AC working again. These folks are great. Very professional, know the business, always fair, always honest.

Mr. Steve came out @9pm due to my system blowing warm air and found that my coils and fans were shot and worked out a more than fair price on a unit answered all my questions honestly and less than 24 hours later he was back at my home putting in a new unit that was adequate for my square footage as the unit that came with the home when I bought it was not adequately sized while doing the job he discovered that my supply ducts where are the wrong size as well quoted me on that job and it is scheduled already as well you should know that you are able to call him anytime day or night and he will come out without hesitation no matter the issue He even offered to come back with portable AC units to get me through the night until my unit can be replaced without me having to ask him to do that he is the only guy I will be using from this point forward

Our AC stopped blowing cold today. After trying to fix ourselves we realized we needed help. I called about 830 pm on a Monday and he arrived in 15 minutes ! Affordable service fee for the hour and the response time. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a quick AC fix!

Steve was very kind and was able to fit me into his schedule the same day. I had a drainage issue 2 days later and he came back out in minutes to help me get everything resolved. Definitely recommend!

Great Customer Service and Response!! Called late on a Saturday Night after A/C broke down, Steve showed up 20min later and had it back up in running in about an hour and a half! Couldnt recommend this company more! They are absolutely amazing! Thanks Air Cool!

Called for emergency AC repair after hours. Steve came out and repaired the AC quickly! He came from Plant City to Lakeland--and fast. We thought we were going to have to stay at a hotel because it was going to be a timely repair but it literally took him 20 minutes to fix. Would definitely recommend for FAST and professional service.EDIT TO ADD: He sat and waited for me to write my review before telling me my price which was VERY expensive.FINAL EDIT:The Air Cool A/C Technician from Plant City, Steve, showed up after normal business hours to repair a water leak at the Air Handler. He fixed the water leak, but gave no indication of the cost involved. After the repair, he asked if I would give him a good review on Google. He waited while the review was done. When he was satisfied that a stellar review was posted, he let me know that the cost was $557 for 25 minutes of work. He did not give me an estimate of cost, and never advised me of his after-hour rates. He also did not write paid on the invoice after charging my credit card. The next day, the property manager was notified who then said they wouldnt cover the cost. They called Steve to see why the cost was so high and he lied to them and said he was there 2 hours! They said they then looked him up on the BBB and saw complaints against him. I called Steve to see if he would lower the bill because it was, after all, excessive. He said, if you adjust my review I will take the cost down to $350. I no longer feel this company can be trusted. The fact that he waited to give me the invoice until he got a good review from me is an underhanded business practice. Most customers needing a/c repairs will check his reviews and call for service, not realizing that he is tricking them into giving good reviews, then charging excessive costs. To people thinking of using this man for after-hours work, I do not recommend him. He price gouges. If you so choose to go with him-just be prepared to pay a lot of money.

Installed replacement AC system (inside and outside units, UV lights in air handler. Very quick response and very professional installation. Very happy with the services provided and the new system works great - replaced a system originally installed 15+ years ago when the house was new. Would recommend Air Cool to anyone!

Steve McCord has been our a:c guy for 30years. He has always been very efficient and Honest over the years. Our a/c went out the day before Christmas and we did have to wait for the part and has had to come back for a couple other parts. He keep me up to date on the parts and when he would be back to repair the unit.Also he is on time which is great. If you need and a/c unit give Steve a call he is very dependable and fair.

A/C went in the middle of the day 90 plus degrees and I called for service. Steve showed up diagnosed and repaired the issue within hours of my call. He was very knowledgeable and professional, took care of my issue and got me back cooling. I will always use this company for any A/C issues.

After charging over $1200 looks and feels like you guys didnt do anything.It worked for two days and its doing exactly the same thing it was doing before.Ive called another company and had to spend extra money to get the job done properly.We are very unhappy with the job done.

Air Cool AC is the worst company around. They went to my mother-in-law’s home back in November and supposedly changed out the coil and repaired their AC. Yesterday, another AC company came out to give us a second opinion because the repairs that Air Cool supposedly completed was broken again... not even 3 months later.The second AC company verified with the manufacturer (Trane) that the coil was never changed out. They also explained that Air Cool simply put a bunch of band aids on the existing AC and broke the pan. The manufacturer said the parts all have serial numbers and the one that is in the unit is the original part.Air Cool told my mother-in-law that she had to pay them cash for their services back in November. She paid them $1200 for a bunch of tape, broken parts, and for a Freon refill. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Luckily, the unit is under manufacturer warranty and it is being repaired by an ACTUAL professional!

I have been using Air Cool and working with Steve McCord for 16 years. They dont just fix your problem but explain it every step along the way so that you really have an understanding of what is being done.They have replaced my a/c unit, ductwork, made repairs and have done yearly maintenance.Throughout the years, a lot of trust has been built as well as friendships made. Ill never use anyone else but Steve and Air Cool.

My son and I came home Halloween night and our AC was out and the temperature inside the house was 80. It was after 10:30pm when I called, and Steve answered and said he would come out that night. He arrived quickly, and was very professional and kind. He had my AC running within 20 minutes of arriving. I will definitely use again in the future.

Ac went out in the middle of the night on one of the first nights home with our new born. Very quick response time, got the ac working in a short amount of time. Price was quite high for the part that was replaced... but we appreciate it done in a timely manner.

My A/C went out on a Saturday night and I called Steve first thing Sunday morning and he was able to come out and take a look at it by 10am that morning. He found out what had caused the problem within 10 minutes of being there and did some more tests before attempting a repair to save me from buying parts I didnt need. I ended up needing a brand new unit which was not currently in stock, but he kept on his supplier and kept me informed and we were back up and running by Tuesday. Very professional and keeps you informed so you know what to expect.
