We have had the best experience at Mathnasium. The tutors are very knowledgeable and always very pleasant to work with. If your child could use a little extra help in Math, this is the place to go.

Mathnasium of Plano played a great role in my daughters performance in school. She is now a freshman in high school and she is really looking forward to her Math Class. With the great foundation she has with Mathnasium, she was able to help out her classmates in explaining their lessons. She even jokingly say that she sounds like a Mathnasium instructor. It boosts her confidence and she feels very accomplished not just because she does very well in her Math class but also able to help her classmates.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helped improve my childs grades in school. The experience also helped boost my childs confidence in Math classes.

Mathnasium has benefited my boys tremendously. Great coaching, great teachers and an amazing environment. Even during these times of Covid, they were able to create a very successful online environment with great interaction between the tutor and the student. This location is great because of the caring owner, Dan, and knowledgeable staff. My daughter has never liked math and struggled with Algebra 1. It wasnt until she REALLY struggled with Algebra 2 that we brought her in for extra help. What a big difference Mathnasium has made! She went from a C in the first semester of Algebra 2 to a low A in the second semester. Now into her first semester of Pre-Calculus, shes actually maxing the class with an average 97% - 99%. People are very nice and explain things very well! and the lessons are tailored to your knowledge and learning speed!!

Excellent after hours Math classes which actually works! Owners are very dedicated and friendly. Recommend to every parent. My son had been coming to this office for a couple of years now and I can see a good performance in his school grades. They are doing a great job and very flexible with payment plans and schedule. With Covid came in, they introduced Online classes and it’s very helpful

My daughter was struggling with algebra and tutoring at school was not helping. we were at the end of our rope and a friend suggested mathnasium. We enrolled and within the first week her grade went from a 60 to mid 80s. She finished out the school year with an 88. It warmed my heart for my daughter to say Mom, I finally understand math.

I took my daughter for tutoring for a few months last year. The tutoring was good but I found a cheaper equally good option.

We love Mathnasium! Its fantastic to see the way they encourage kids & have games & activities to make something that some kids feel is hard seem fun & easy. Just showing them that they cant do it & building their confidence in something that will truely make a difference in their futures.

Just the boost we needed to move our son from a so-so math student to a very good math student. Also to move him from someone who suffered through math to someone who likes it, understands it, and had a sense of accomplishment. Dan customizes the tutoring based on input from the student, input from the teacher, which Dan asks for, what has been studied but not a mastered before the school moved on, whats ahead at school, and what will be covered by next weeks test. Great work, Dan.

My son really enjoyed going to Mathnasium this summer. During the 2 months that he was enrolled at mathnasium, his deductive reasoning improved quite a lot. We plan to continue using Mathnasium.

Mathnasium has been such a great help for my son !I am very happy with the staff, and their way of teaching and making students confident. MR Dan Parker the owner, has been been very kind to us, and we are very greatful for his support and encouragement !

We liked the personal approach of the tutors and the personal care being taken by Mr. Dan to examine and understand the capabilities and strengths of every child. Services are professional in nature and the time being spent by the tutors or Mr. Dan with the parents to overcome the difficulties of the childs understanding is commendable.

The Staff at the Plano Mathnasium is incredible. My sons knowledge of math is soaring and so is self-esteem.

We were desperate when we came to Mathnasium in April 2019. My high school senior was failing Pre-calculus with test scores in the 30’s, and there were college scholarships at stake. In 5 weeks, he has gone from failing to passing with a B! Mathnasium literally saved his GPA, and we just found out yesterday that he will still graduate with Honors! We are so grateful to Mathnasium!

It’s hard to imagine a better approach for kids who need to fill in the gaps, reinforce learning, or move ahead of their school curriculum.

This is a great program for any student who needs help with math.Our son was enrolled in Dan Parkers Mathnaseum Plano last year (8th grade) and, after a summer break, he is re-enrolled again this year. This program has made all of the difference in his math learning, his grades, and his attitude.In middle school he was falling behind in math because of the teaching methods used in public schools (which have wonderful teachers but limited resources). If he did not get a topic quickly, the class moved on to the next topic, and his opportunity to learn that topic was almost gone. The schools offered math tutoring and homework help, and that is great. Usually, but not always, that tutoring and homework help allowed him to catch up. If not, he had problems because each math topic builds on the prior topics.Mathnaseum provided consistent tutoring and problem solving in the very areas where he is weak and provides reinforcement for the topics he is covering in math classes. If he does not understand a topic, Mathnaseum will cover that topic as long as it takes for him to achieve competency in it. Mathnaseum does stop teaching a topic and move on if he does not get it.Now my son wants to be an engineer, he is attending Academy High School (the PISD STEM STEAM high school) and he is doing fine in math. He is keeping up and doing well in math courses that are more advanced than I ever had in high school, and he likes math. He still needs lots of practice, out-of-class tutoring, and explanations, but he is getting those every day at Mathnaseum.

I recommend this place, both my boys went there and made progress afterwards.

Dan has been a pleasure to work with, very attentive and quick to respond, etc. My son was in advanced high school math and he learned a lot and gained confidence with mathnasium. Dan was great about telling me when to bring my son so that he could be sure to have an upper-math person available. The first year my son wasnt too keen on attending, but by the second year my son asked to go and went to mathnasium several times a week in grades 9 - 12. The people that helped him were knowledgeable and also attentive, especially Matt and Becky...occasionally she called for Anthony after he had left for the evening because she thought of something that might be helpful for him. These people care and really want to help the students. Also this location was willing to customize his lessons to help him work on his HW in addition to working on mathnasium worksheets.
