The staff at Legacy Travel (Alyssa,Cathi,Lori)did a superb job in handling the Destination Weddings of my friend and her sisters wedding at Finest Playa Mujeres,Mexico.They were very thorough from beginning to end. Itinerary detailed everything! Transportation, hotel amenities, staff, well maintained grounds, security, and fine selection of cuisine did not disappoint. Actually got a follow up call from Legacy Travel staff to see if everything went well and enjoying our stay. Could not ask for a better experience!

Just recently returned from our trip to Greece and I must say what a magical trip Terrah put together for my wife and I. In this era of being able to be your own travel agent, I say on important trips leave it to the professionals! The hotels, excursions and recommendations were of the quality that it would be hard to find on your own or lucky if you did. Legacy also planned our trip to Italy in 2019. Call Terrah and have her plan your trip and youll forever be glad you did!

Our adventure with Legacy Travel began as far back as April as we got into the early stages of planning our big honeymoon to New Zealand which we only just returned from. Lesley worked with us from the very beginning and the process couldn’t have been easier as we gave a general outline of the things we wanted to see and do. Lesley corresponded with us regularly and within no time at all we had a full and thorough itinerary that covered all of our requests with some fun surprises we wouldn’t have thought to look for. Payment was very reasonable and with a lot of flexibility via increments at our own pace. Upon actually departing, we were able to check into our bookings for flights, tours, and hotels with no trouble at all. Not a single hiccup! This was our first time using a travel agency and we now see the appeal as the planning and coordination being removed from us took off so much stress! Lesley was consistently kind and thorough in working with us we couldn’t be more thankful for the entire experience. My wife and I now have memories that will last a life time thanks in no small part to the work Legacy Travel put into arranging it for us. This travel agent might be able to book simple flights but forget about asking them to assist with a longer trip including tours. The agent spent 2 weeks looking for flights to and from Europe before even thinking about if they would work with the ground itinerary. then, another two weeks of back and forth with the details. By the time she was close to figuring out the ground trip, many of the accommodations were no longer available and she offered some downgraded places. There was little transparency to what she was to planning and after 4 painful weeks of trying to get the tripplanned, I finally lost faith in her ability to get this done. Very disappointing. I would not use this travel agent.

I will never travel without a travel agent and Legacy has been our preferred agent for almost 10 years. Hannah is amazing! They have never steered us wrong and have saved us from multiple situations that might have been disastrous for our vacation without them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly they help give you peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip!

Im extremely disappointed with the service Legacy Travel provided. My sister and I were planning a trip to London and Amsterdam for April. With a trip this big and expensive, I felt that it would be smarter to go through a travel agent just in case something were to go wrong. There seemed to be a lot of good reviews for this agency and I cannot speak to the other ladies who work there but we have not had a good experience. I started out working with one travel agent, who was young and seemed a little inexperienced but was extremely nice and helpful. She helped me pick out flights and hotels and we briefly discussed travel insurance. At that time, she said that travel insurance did not include cancelling for COVID-19. However the day that we booked our trip, she called to let me know that there was travel insurance available that would guarantee a full refund minus the cost of the insurance as long as we cancel within 24 hours of the trip. She stated that this includes cancelling for ANY reason including COVID-19. We booked the trip, paid for it, and were hopefully optimistic about it.Obviously, due to the COVID-19 outbreak this trip did not happen. When I reached out to cancel the trip, I was informed that our travel agent was no longer with the agency. I relayed the information to Catherine regarding our insurance and was informed that we would get a partial refund and then it would be our responsibility to file a claim with the travel insurance company to get the remaining amount. During our email exchange, Catherine did not seem interested in helping and it was only after asking why the travel agency did not file the claim for us that I was given the information to file the claim and contact information for the insurance company. We did not receive a full refund from the insurance company either. When I called to ask about that, I was informed that there were penalties that prevented us from getting the full refund and that this should have been explained to us at the time of booking. This has been relayed to the agency via email but I have not received a response.Anyone looking into this travel agency should know to read the fine print before paying for any trips. Either the original travel agent did not know about the penalties or didnt relay the information to me. Legacy Travel has not taken responsibility for this. Either way, we are now out a lot of money for a trip we didnt get to take. Im very disappointed with the outcome and will not be back.

We coordinated our destination wedding travels through legacy travel. What initially started off as a great experience quickly turned awful upon arriving at our destination. After our wedding date changed due to COVID-19 we were notified that we would receive a pretty large reimbursement that could be used for room upgrades, an alternate trip, or excursions while on our trip. We specifically stated that we did not want an upgraded room, as our original room was beautiful, and more importantly we would be traveling with many family and friends (many of whom reported a pushy, and all around not great experience with Legacy Travel as well) and would not be spending much time in our room. We instead opted to spend our money on excursions and use whatever was remaining to plan our next trip. This was communicated to our travel agent several times by both my husband and myself. We had several hiccups with transportation that was supposed to be booked by legacy, but somehow wasn’t. The resort blamed our travel agent and our travel agent blamed the resort. Who knows! As the bride, I was literally getting calls to my room 5 mins before walking down the aisle about travel arrangements that NEEDED to be arranged that moment or we wouldn’t be able to leave for our honeymoon the following day. The resort consistently said things weren’t communicated to them. My mother and maid of honor eventually stepped in and coordinated a correction with the resort and travel agent. All of this occurring MOMENTS before I walked down the aisle. My wedding coordinator even became upset on our behalf. I could’ve looked past all of this. But the following day, as my husband and I were at the honeymoon resort we were told we had no remaining money left for excursions. Confused we pulled up the confirmation email that stated we had well over $800 in credits. We got in touch with our travel agent who texted us and said she “made an executive decision” to upgrade our room. We spoke back and forth, clearly VERY upset. Our travel agent offered several excuses, and continued to argue with us. She offered no real apology or correction. All which is documented in text messages. My husband and I were outraged and completely felt scammed out of OUR money with absolutely no consent, or even notice. I have never in my life written a negative review for ANY company, but our wedding was over a month ago and my husband, family and I still can’t get over the entire experience. As a social worker at a non-profit I truly believe that most people have good intentions. We’ve gone over it time and time again and I believe that our travel agent acted in a sneaky way in order to get a higher commission. Again, highly upset. We will never again use Legacy Travel, and based on this experience I doubt we will ever use a travel agent again.

I highly reccomended Legacy Travel. Our agent Jessica was so helpful and friendly and efficient. She didnt spare any details right up to the packing list for our trip. Cathi the owner was also friendly and professional. When we returned from our trip we even had a hand written note from our agent, it was an overall very professional and efficient yet very personalized experience. I will definitely be using Legacy Travel going forward for all our vacations.

At first I thought I could plan out our family trip to Maui myself but after trying to sift through all the lodging, activity companies, and dining, I decided to give Legacy travel a try. As for our vacation, we could not have had a better time. The sites, sounds, smells, and the overall experiences are still fresh in our minds. From being picked up at the airport in Rome and driven to a world class hotel near the Vatican, and the small private tour group to the Vatican and Colosseum were outstanding, no lines, no hassles. First rate insight into the historical importance of the places we were seeing was special. Hannah helped us book a day trip to the Amalfi coast, our heads are still spinning, the aqua blue Mediterranean Sea was spectacular, and the homes on the coastline was a site to behold. From just strolling along the streets of Rome to sitting at an outside cafe drinking wine, the entire tripwas so special to us. If your planning a trip, you need to use Legacy Travel, and do yourself a favor, ask for Hannah!

Two of my closest girlfriends and myself needed help planning our trip to Europe, so we were referred to Legacy Travel by a friend. We thought Legacy Travel would be a travel agent and actually plan our trip. We had problem after problem once the planning was started. Cards charged multiple times without notice. Tours cancelled without notice, but this was only the beginning. Our hotel changed 1 week before leaving without notification.Once we arrived to Paris, there was no one to pick us up at the airport after purchasing a private transfer. Nothing was even scheduled. This was only one transportation example gone bad out of multiple others. We had no transfer when we left Amsterdam to fly home after Kathy the owner said there would be no issues!!! This made us literally RUN through the airport so that we wouldnt miss our flight. Katie our actual agent neglected to inform us of various details regarding Museum Pass pickups, when they could of been shipped to us prior to our trip to save time and money once we arrived.If you are looking for a travel agency that has an attention to detail, this is not the place! Still on our trip, various other problems happened and we called internationally back to Legacy to speak with the owner Kathy, but only to find out that she was emotional-less to our situation while on our stress free vacation.Lack of communication, lack of attention to detail, and follow through by Legacy travel caused us to lose valuable time during our trip. We also encountered situations that caused undue stress that could have been avoided.You ask how they handled our complaint??? THEY DID NOTHING! Not even with a simple apology. DO NOT USE THEM, once they are paid from their vendors, you are nothing.

Alyssa was great! She stayed on top of our reservation and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great Disney Experience. She even followed up via email during the trip to ensure everything went well. I will never use anyone else to book my travel! Thanks so much Legacy! This was absolutely one of the best vacations in our life!Legacy made it very easy and scheduled airport, hotel package, and transportation to and from airport in Cancun. Hannah and Cathi are the best when it comes to arranging travel packages from start to finish. The resort was a first class 5 star hotel that took care of our every need and then some. Legacy even set up a travel service for us that had space at the resort and we utilized them daily for scheduling massage, travel, and outings. We even had to reschedule one of our excursions and they took care of this without any issues at all.

When I began to plan this trip for my family, which included my three young boys, someone suggested I call a travel agent. I honestly thought, does anyone use a travel agent anymore? So, I called Legacy Travel and it was the best decision I couldve made! First thing I noticed was that I called on Saturday afternoon thinking Id get a voicemail. Nope! Marty answered. A LIVE person!? He took my information and literally within 24 hours I had a nice list of suggestions in my inbox. No pressure at all. We went back and forth on hotels for a bit, but once we settled on one, the rest of this trip fell in to place. He was SPOT ON with his suggestions of where we should stay. The entire family had a fantastic, effortless, safe trip! That Mom didnt really have to plan!

Where do I even begin... This company is far from professional. None of the employees communicate with each other. My friends and I booked a trip to Cancun to celebrate a friends birthday. Before we booked the trip Audrey advised our party that only 3 people are able to be stay in the room at the resort which was a complete and UTTER LIE. We called the resort and they advised us we were misinformed and that 4 people could stay in the room. The ENTIRE process from that point on has been a hassle. I paid the deposit on the trip along with an extra 100 to secure the trip. Approximately 2 weeks ago a few of the ladies decided to forego attending the trip at that point we decided to book separately in an attempt to save money. I called Monday to inform them I would be canceling they said okay and that my roommates would need to call as well. They asked to very the last four of my card in order to process the 33 dollar cancellation fee which makes no sense to me where my deposit and other funds went. Audrey sends and emailing Tuesday stating that she still hadn’t heard from us regarding our cancellation. I was caught off guard because ALL just called the day before. Not to mention, on Monday and advised them she had a new card and provided Cathy with her card information. It’s now 2 days later and Audrey emails stating our cards were declined which is incorrect information. I called Audrey and told her there is no reason my card there is plenty of funds on in my account along with my other roommates. They have made everything so stressful which, it does not have to be this way. I asked Audrey to speak to the manager who has conveniently just stepped out the office. Don’t even bother with these company all they care about is money. Do yourself a favor book you’re vacations with another company.

Legacy Travel was amazing! We booked our first all inclusive to Mexico and had a great experience from beginning to end. We had a small issue with resort when we got our room so we contacted Audrey at legacy and she went above and beyond to help us out. Made our trip that much more enjoyable. We would definitely use them again for our next vacation.

If you purchase the trip insurance and have an emergency and need to cancel they will take 3 months to give you a refund and blame it on COVID. Good luck.

If you want to make sure you are in amazing resorts/hotels, experienced and reviewed by their high standards, the travel taken care of, Legacy Travel is the way to go. I have had Marty and Hannah both book my trips and both of them have been absolutely spot on with everything Ive asked for. I love the different quotes they give you for the time period you are planning your travel-gives you options. I also appreciate the quickness of getting back the information you asked for. I booked a trip for a group of 15 to Montego Bay through Legacy travel and they made it so easy for us. The agents were very helpful and always available. They even checked in on us while we were on vacation. I will be using this agency for future trips. I would highly recommend Legacy Travel!

I planned a trip to the Caribbean and Erin made the whole process seamless. She was helpful and courteous. When Erin was not available other staff members were so eager to help. I love the fact that Erin followed up right before my trip to wish a safe and nice trip and when I returned home Erin had a welcome home card in the mail. I booked with this company 3 years ago and had a great experience with the agent I used. Unfortunately, this time around there were changes made my another person on my reservation and the agent (not the same as my last trip) did not care about how it would affect me. Ultimately, I had to cancel my trip which of course they were only concerned with making sure their cancellation fee was paid instead of finding an alternative that work best for me the client. If you speak with the manager she will not give you a corporate number. If you book with them make sure NO ONE will be making changes on the reservation because they do not care how it may affect your travels. Also booking a year in advance does not help with getting you the best rate. I was able to find the same trip at a lower cost even though I booked almost a year in advance with this agency.

My husband and I were planning an anniversary trip. After researching places, hotels, and flights I quickly became overwhelmed. We decided to use a travel agency and we were teamed up with Terrah - the Hawaii specialist. Within a couple of days, she had us booked for a trip that was within our budget and exactly what we were searching for. I was suddenly stress free and so excited!We just returned from our trip to Oahu and it was a trip we will forever cherish! Booked trip for my wife and I for our 12 year. After getting picked up and heading to the resort our driver got pulled over and searched. No big deal, a few. Hunted later we are in our way. The resort was wondering as always being we stayed there three other times. On the day to depart our driver was late. When he finally arrived he was in a large van with logos all over it. The problem was I paid for private transport both ways. This wasn’t what I paid for. So late and wrong vehicle. Driver gets out and loads our luggage. He is wiping his nose and coughing. We asked if he was sick and he admitted he was. The problem my wife has lupus and the meds she takes reduced her immune system. We fly home and within 8 hours my wife has a 103* fever. To the hospital we go. After two days in the hospital and a lot of meds she is back home but still coughing and resting. Very unprofessional and will never use this company again. My wife is sick now longer than we were on vacation. Thanks.

They made booking our trip so easy, and they beat the cost of all of the other travel agencies that I looked into. They were so helpful in every aspect of our travels - even creating a personalized packing list for our trip. I will definitely use them for all of our future trips!

We used Nicki S. and I would not recommend her to anyone. She was less than helpful and took days to respond to any type of inquiry. She quoted me multiple prices for the same trip and couldnt tell me what the difference was and never sent me a breakdown when asked. When booking my trip I was told that I had to upgrade our rooms in order to get them next to each other. I did. The week before our trip I wanted to confirm they were next to each other and was sent a text saying that my request had been resubmitted to the hotel. Request. After she straight up told me we had to upgrade to get them next to each other. When I called to inquire about whether or not the transportation company would have a car seat for my 2 yr old, she couldnt talk to me (I shouldnt have been surprised, this was the usual treatment) and tried to have a co worker convince me that the best thing to do was to check our car seat, stow it in our room at the resort. I asked for pricing on renting and it was only 15 bucks. Im confused as to how that was the best option for me. I believe, base on our previous interactions, that she just did not want to have to set it up. Even though she knew we had a little one when we booked seeing as to how they get ages and dates of birth for everyone going. Also, when we got to Cancun we had no ride to the hotel. We were not listed. Luckily, our children were so the transportation company added us on and took us with them. While we were at the resort, I received an email from her asking how it was going as did everyone who went with us. I responded and let her know about the issues I had with transportation. My friend (who had no issues) also responded to let her know it was going great. We sent these emails together within minutes of each other. She received a response from Nicki and I received nothing until after we had already arrived home. Which she knew because she booked our trip. She simply chose not to respond til it was too late. Very disappointed in the horrible experience. Will just do it all myself next time.

Legacy Travel staff members were helpful at every step of the way on our trip and provided friendly, personalized service. I highly recommend them and will use them for all trips going forward!

Customer service is amazing. Informative, attentive and detail oriented are a few words to describe the agency. We requested a updated room in the property we stayed at. However, the hotel did not accommodate. I emailed Legacy Travel and a day later we were notified that our room was being upgraded on Legacy Travels dime. legacy Travel wants to ensure you have an amazing vacation from start to finish. Ill be using Legacy Travel going forward for all my vacations. I would highly recommend Legacy Travel.

I have been using Terrah at Legacy Travel for over 10 years. Legacy has planned my honeymoon in St. Lucia, numerous trips to Mexico, Thailand, Spain, UK, and most recently, Bermuda. Everything always runs smoothly, and the accommodations chosen for us are always perfect!

Alyssa was my travel agent. She was nice and gave me options on hotel resort and flight prices for our family’s first ski trip.As the trip got closer, Alyssa sent me the ski vouchers for my family.I was informed that the vouchers included everything we would need for skiing, such as the ski equipment, ski lift passes, and ski lessons for 1 day.I noticed my voucher had my named misspelled & the voucher for our 8 year old had a completely different name listed.I emailed Alyssa with the corrections and she apologized, corrected the names, and sent me a revised copy of the ski vouchers with all the names spelled correctly.I trusted the issue had been resolved.I went to the designated ski rental location to redeem our vouchers and to get everyone fitted for our skis.The cashier & manger did not see any valid vouchers in my name.The manager determine that a lady with a similar name spelling as mine was the only name in the system.Coincidentally the lady who had a similar name as mine showed to have 5 ski passes (5 were also in my party). When the manager showed me the ski identification cards for that lady, I noticed the name on one of the passes matched the name on the original voucher that Alyssa sent me which had our 8 year olds name completely wrong.The voucher confusion took approximately 4 hours and I also had to pay $1024 out of pocket so that my family could go skiing!That was money I did not plan on spending. After the trip, I notified Alyssa of the ski package issue and she told me she did not know why the vouchers were invalid and she was under the impression that the packages I pre-paid for included all the ski stuff and that she was going to forward my email to the ski supplier to get answers.She finally got back with me & told me that she misunderstood the ski supplier and did not know the ski lift passes and ski lessons were not included in the package I pre-paid for and that Legacy Travel could only reimburse me for the ski lift passes, as a courtesy, which totaled $210.00.This huge mistake almost ruined the entire ski trip! Again, Alyssa is a nice person, but the travel agency dropped the ball on this one: I did not expect a travel agency that’s been around a while to make a mistake like this.

I was nervous about using a travel agent. Legacy was great! They booked an awesome ski trip for my family and included very detailed information about everything. They were awesome!

We called Legacy Travel to help plan our honeymoon in May 2014. We started our search online and were overwhelmed with all of the options, so we decided to call Legacy Travel to assist. My husband spoke with Marty and he was able to able to find the perfect destination for us based on what we were looking for. Everything from the resort reservation, transportation to and from the airport, candlelight dinners, activities, was all taken care of for us before our arrival. When we were deciding where to stay, Marty shared personal experiences about both hotels we were deciding between which helped us to feel comfortable about the destination. We will definitely be calling Legacy Travel again!

I am so disappointed in this company. My family wanted to go on a trip to Hawaii and when we were talking to the lady we told her from the beginning, our daughters were paying for their own tickets. So we needed affordable tickets and a break down to see if they could afford it. They said if we wanted this trip we needed to put down a deposit. So we did and it was $1200. I never got the breakdown I called multiple times for the lady who was helping us. At one point she was there and with no one(her co worker told me) and she still didnt answer my phone call. Well after threatening to call the manager we hear back from her and we still dont get a breakdown we just get a total. Then a few days later we finally get the breakdown and the tickets are not affordable I actually found better tickets on Expedia. We tried to get a refund on our deposit and they said it already went to the airlines. And this is two weeks after making our deposit. So long story short dont trust these people because they will not help you, they will only screw you over. You might as well plan your own vacation cause they arent going to get you a good deal, you could get a better deal yourself.

I had a wonderful experience with Legacy Travel from start to finish. Marty took care of me from the beginning. He answered all my questions and made suggestions along the way based on his person experience with Aruba. Our trip was perfect. Everything went just as planned. Im already planning my next trip through Marty and Legacy Travel.

Legacy Travel is fantastic. I have had such a wonderful experience with them, as have my friends. My husband and I were wanting to plan a terrific destination wedding for our family and friends to attend --- Hannah Cote, our amazing travel agent, was terrific - she coordinated the air fare, the transportation to the resort, all of the resort information, the excursions, and most importantly, the wedding and ensured that all 26 of us had a great time! I cannot think of a single complaint that we had! She has also set up vacation for our friends, and they have had an amazing time each place they went. Hannah and Legacy Travel is the way to go. We will definitely be using them for all of our travel needs !

I have used Legacy Travel for three trips - Italy, Costa Rica & Paris. In all thee instances I chose Legacy because I was overwhelmed by all the details, I didnt have the time to properly put the trips together, I wanted someone who had been there and I wanted a great price. Legacy delivered! They were patient with my thousand questions, moved at my speed (sometimes fast; sometimes slow), were abundantly knowledgeable and saved me a LOT of money!

My experience with Legacy Travel in Carrollton TX was very good. Marty and the rest of the team there was very responsive and answered all my questions. They kept me abreast of what I needed to do to ensure an enjoyable trip. The place they recommended based on my needs was perfect! Secret St James was a fabulous resort and I would go back in a heart beat!

Leigh-Ann and Cathi at Legacy Travel are hands down the most professional and knowledgeable team of travel agents that you can get these days. Went to Cancun on a one week trip with EIGHT total people in our party and everything was smooth as butter. From the time you book until you return from your trip getting settled, they work to make sure everything is up to your standards. Stayed at the Iberostar Grand through Leigh-Anns recommendation and it was by far the most superior hotel I have stayed at in Mexico (been to Mexico on vacation about nine times) and is truly 5-stars. They tell you what to expect before your trip, during, and arrival back into the States. They also set up your transportation to and from the airport and hotel and truly make the experience all-inclusive. Saved us quite a bit of money too. I did my research and know that she got us the best possible deal for what we were looking for. I highly recommend Legacy Travel!!

For my daughters graduation from UNT I wanted to send her to a great place yet safe. Jackie was amazing at putting her trip together. They stayed at Royalton Blue Waters an all inclusive in Jamaica. She had a wonderful time with a swim up pool to her room, wonderful food and sight seeing at a affordable price! I highly recommend Legacy Travel!

Absolutely love this agency!!! They went above and beyond. I was able to seamlessly book a trip to Mexico for my sisters wedding. As a first time travel agent user, I was a bit nervous and had a million questions, but Lesley took care of everything for me and made sure there were no unanswered questions. She helped me through the entire process, booking, planning, transportation, and more. She followed up with me on the days leading up to my departure, reached out to me while I was in Mexico to make sure everything went smoothly, and touched base with me when I returned home. Although I live in Oklahoma, I will continue to use this agency for all my travel needs as they have superseded all my expectations.

I have used Legacy Travel 6 times in the past 8 years, this July we booked with Legacy for a trip to Cozumel our favorite place. We told them that beach was very important. We usually stay at Allegro but we were told that Isobar would be nicer. Beach was nice but rocky and you could not get into the water from the beach which we expressed our concern to the travel agent when we saw pictures, and Leslie assured us that is was not rocky. Besides the beach to the ocean was so rocky you could not get into the ocean the resort did not have air conditioning until 3 am in the rooms, stealing was an issue for some of the guest. The hotel itself was nice but I would never go back! When I called and talked with Cathy (Owner) she stated that the representative of Isobar was there and there were issues. For a 4000.00 trip Cathy offered us 100.00 off our next trip. Slap in the face after all the business we have done with them and referrals. I am writing this post so that no one else goes through what we did and then to find out the travel agency I thought would take care of us did not.

Legacy Travel booked our trip for us to Royalton Riviera Cancun. Lori made sure all of our questions were answered and details were covered. The owner Cathi provided additional personal details. Royalton was 5 Star service, accommodations, food and more. Legacy Travel was a recommended resource to us and were passing on the recommendation. Definitely trust the trip details to them.
