Wow where do I start? get hung up on for asking for fraud dept. called again. spoke to someone that passed it to supervisorHannah. Get a call back (voicemail) it will actually text out the voicemail. At first she is Hannah. gives me a ticket #. the end of voicemail she becomes Annie. You call the Plano TX headquarters number and you get India. Also Hannah claims to call 3 times. She called once. Countless times i get trans. You ask a question and you get some random answer. NEVER again will i buy this product. Whats my reason on calling them. trying to see if they would put in things to look for as far as scams go in with their insert you get when you buy their product. If you look, most of the 5 stars are from people saying great place to work. What a joke.
This company is taking money from my account and I dont have an account with them. They took $129.83 twice without my consent. After the first time I had my bank issue me a new card and they managed to charge my new card. When I called the girl I spoke to had no idea what she was doing. I am very unhappy with this. Now they wont refund me MY money!!!!!

Mcafee itself is malware as far as I am concerned. It installs itself covertly with other software downloads, and then bombards you with ads. I have had this happen at least a few different times. They have no respect for peoples time in having to uninstall something they never wanted to begin with. Mcafee, please stop doing this.
Have been using McAfee AT&T version, for several years. For the past two years, my laptop has been very slow, and several Microsoft Office products, were having issues. All security scans through McAfee, showed no issues. Decided to do a search through Google, and tried a free trial with Malwarebytes, the program found 130 issues, the issues were quarantined, and laptop is running great. Before, going to Google, I searched for a contact email on the McAfee product site, and was unable to locate any contact information. I do not recommend McAfee.
It says its the 7th best place to work.. but it is the best Ive worked at hands down.
I have tried 5 different numbers to call McAfee to get information on my internet security and asked to speak to a person in the United States they would not transfer me!!! I called the US numbers listed and they are not in service! I want to support the United States not countries outside of the United States! With this been said I am now using AVG internet service!
I bought a new laptop that came with a trial version of Mcafee. It expired after 30 days and I clicked on the link to purchase it. It gave me a $60.00 discount off for the first year (charging me only $29.99 - the regular price was $89.99) and I was getting ready to purchase this until I saw that it auto-renewed. There was no way to turn off the auto renewal. I clicked out of this link and went to the Mcafee website and the price was much higher without the discount I had received from the expired trial page, but there was no way to opt out of the auto renewal on this page either. So Ill go with the competition.

Intel-McAfee anti-virus program not recommended. After 2 yrs of this program, this account will be closed. I nor any other consumer would appreciate an anti-virus company that raises their 1 yr software usage by 50% (from $60 to slightly over $90) for that same anti-virus protection. And no explanation is provided for such a blatant increase. Moreover, contacting McAfee on this increase is difficult. Foreign call centers are used for all customer service and tech support; no US representatives are available for discussing issues and problems. Moreover, there are lower priced anti-virus offered by McAfee but they do not provide opportunity for existing customers to select a different, less expensive program nor take advantage of lower pricing. The way McAfee operates it is like a bait and switch. Lower $60 at time software was initially purchased but jack up the price significantly higher upon my 2nd expiration date. Even attempting to select the lower price McAfee software is overpaying because at that time there was a sale for that $60 1 yr renewal that could be had for about $39.00 on sale by McAfee and they do not make their existing customers aware of it. So it is goodbye to another big corporation that is greedy and does not keep the interests of their customers in mind. They farm out our call center American jobs to foreigners...because it is all about their bottom line and not about providing excellent customer service to US customers. Period.

I have been a customer of McAfee for a number of years. Although the Web Advisor worked periodically, I continued to purchase the Anti-virus/Malware software annually. ImFor the $ two years (with this year being the worst), I have repeatedly called the company for Tech Support and no one can repair the problem caused by the Total Protection Software (although the company is aware that the updates to the software is causing problems with computer operations).My computer keeps crashing and preventing me from accessing the internet. The Tech Rep from the company states that the solution to fix the problem is temporary until they are able to figure out how to resolve it.I have 3 computers with the TP program.In order for the computers to work properly, the program has to be removed from the computers, leaving it vulnerable to other attacks.This is not right!!!!!

McAfee deleted my home office account after I asked a question of them and asked for partial refund. I was not able to retrieve my file after rep from anti virus at McAfee deleted and claims she deleted my bank account information too. When I called Corporate they said they are in Philippines, treated me like I was dishonest, and annoying them. I never got partial refund. I paid $54 for 6 months and continued to be threatened to get charged after my computer crashed. Reps refused to take my word for it! I felt they were inappropriate for arguing with me. The women who answered my calls at corporate wanted to fight!
