She was given the agreed final decree which covered most of the components but when the final decree came into her hands, she was surprised beyond words. Nothing that was agreed upon was reflecting in the final decree. Now her husband is more abusive. He still continues to live with her. Her life is more miserable than before. He charged her premium fee. All in vain. Her husband is sitting at home and mocking at her. Please do your homework of all the pros and cons before going to this attorney, This attorney lacks integrity & humanity. He doesnt respond to her emails or calls. She is left hopeless and helpless. (Sorry this is long. After years of being chicken about reviewing I felt the need to really explain)It’s been a while since I’ve stepped in Pelley Law Office’s doors. Back then I was ashamed of what I was going through. When it was over and sarah asked me to write a recommendation for the office and I balked. I didn’t want my name out there. I thought I would be judged.Over these past couple years I realize how right she and Mr. Pelley were about everything, including how many amazing people file bankruptcy. I can’t tell you how many people I know who have told me that they’ve also filed bankruptcy. I just thought there’d be a stigma, I’d be alone, and I was wrong.When I came in to the office I had already taken a second lien on my house and gone through half my 401(k) trying to pay creditors, and I was in the exact same place financially as i was before. I almost didn’t go through with the initial interview, but I thought I’d at least sit down with someone to tell them that I wasn’t going to go through with it. The young woman I spoke to just started talking to me like a friend and I guess it broke me down.Then she gave me some calm and pretty basic information, but it resonated with me. She said something likely happened to me that was completely out of my control that led me here, because bankruptcy isn’t on anyone’s bucket list. I had had an abusive husband, a divorce, and subsequent job loss because he kept harassing me at work. He didn’t pay child support, or his half of the debt per the divorce. I had also had some very serious medical problems, both physical and mental and had recently my lost my mother.I cried in her office. Ugly cry. Like bad. She hugged me and told me to please let go of those financial worries. She told me it was her job to worry about those now. I don’t know why I believed her but I did.She would respond to emails even late at night. She asked permission to come to my hearing. When she was out the other staff were just as sweet.Mr. Pelley led me through the hearing so easily I couldn’t believe it was over so fast. He was amazing too. Everything was so easy once I was brave enough to make the decision.If she is still there, or sees this, I would want to say thank you from me and my kids, and I’m sorry I was took scared to write earlier. Life has been so much better these last few years. I have really found my feet again, and my strength, thanks to God mostly, but also Pelley Law Office, and of course Sarah.

This guy Quinton Pelley - accepted my aunt’s money for a case in Collin County and 2 Cases in Dallas County and then didn’t represent me on any cases in Dallas because they were already disposed of so basically charged my family $7500 for 1 state jail felony and didn’t refund the 5000 for overcharging me- then the best deal he could get me was 1 year in prison for a theft of less than 100 and blamed my record for why he couldn’t get a better deal - THEN intimidated me into signing the year and called me a thief and an addict in the court room. Complete trash - a court appointed could do better. Oh also, wore sketcher tennis shoes in court room and also has a speech impediment or over buildup of saliva that makes him sound like he’s literally drunk and he can’t articulate well at all. Not a good look - if you want to go to prison hire this guy.

I have not hired Mr. Pelley yet, but I had an overall wonderful experience. I set up a meeting to discuss a custody case. Mr. Pelley requested to do more research on my case. The very next day his paralegal called me and recommended I wait before I file any changes to my custody agreement. I appreciated his wisdom and honesty because he could have just had me sign a contract, pay his retainer and in turn not end up with much recourse considering the cost. As I said I did not hire him, but really appreciated his integrity.

I have had a case since about july of 2018 and they took my retainer. I have been calling to get an update on my case and each and every time they tell me they will call me back and have yet to get a call back. I have called a good 10 times throughout within that year. Its sad that I chose this branch for my case because of the high reviews and Im the one leaving a one star one. All I need is an update on my case thats a year old. Shouldnt be that hard.

My experience with the Pelley Law Office was great. My wife and I had to file bankruptcy after several unforeseen circumstances caused us not to be able to meet our financial obligations. Our combine incomes being higher than normal made this process even more challenging which caused other firms to reject our case. As a last resort we were searching online and came across the Pelley Law Office. From our very first meeting we found the team to be extremely knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Would be hard for me to explain how different I felt walking out of Pelley Law office after my initial consultation with Sarah, and how I felt walking in. It was like a weight had been lifted. Hired Chip Pelley to represent me on a contested divorce. Most or none of the promises from our first meeting were met. I was not only deeply disappointed with the representation -- but with his staff for double booking appointments, and failing to return calls at least two times. Im still reaping the failure of his representation to this day. The bottom line-- there was no representation. The other attorney called the shots. Period. Im not sure if he just didnt care, or if his concern was more on big money cases. Mine was about a broken family with children with special needs, and in my opinion he simply didnt care to fight. At the end of my representation, he sent me an email stating half truths told by the opposing attorney and made me feel as if I had not disclosed information, but didnt bother to clarify with me during mediation; he just let the other party run the show. Pelley Law was a pleasure to work with. Im not a fan of complicated legal issues and/or paperwork nor do I know anyone who particularly enjoys these topics however Pelley Law made these things as smooth as possible and explained them in ways that were easy to understand what was going on. They always kept us up to date on the process things were going through and were quick to respond to calls and emails when I had more specific questions but didnt/couldnt make it into their office in person to discuss. Most times emails were responded back to within 30mins to an hour but never exceeded 24 hours to get a response back. This was impressive to me. Overall great experience and would use them again; in fact..we already are.

My wife and I were going through hard times. Enough to where we considered divorce. She reached out to this group of thieves to make sure she was protected if in fact we did divorce. After no action was taken and we reconciled she went in to request no action be taken and relieve them of service and requested any unused retainer be refunded which would have been damn near all the $5360. They have denied returning anything and denied helping her with any further cases stating that that money was for a divorce case only. We are looking into suing this firm of criminals and highly recommend using another law office.

Walked in, no one at reception desk, ok no problem, ring bell a blonde woman walks from the back FROWNING AT ME LIKE WHY R U HERE...I tell her I have a 1:00PM appt time, no introduction, just hands me an interview sheet to complete and walks away. OK then, as I am completing the form. Quinton Pelley walks out and takes the interview sheet from me and we head to his office. I have some paperwork that I pass over to him to review...HE IMMEDIATELY begins to tell me that I need to take what the DA has stated because, he doesnt want to take my money because he charges $5k for his services and I surely can not afford him because thats how he built his business on fees like that. What he fell to realize was I had the money in full for my legal services regardless of the cost. In addition, what he said I should do was not why I came to see him but he never asked me any thing about my case just looked at paperwork and told me that he could not help me. He was being interviewed is what he didnt realize. No harm, no foul because I definitely dont want him representing me with his condescending tone. After contracting Quinton Pelley for my criminal case he routinely showed up tardy to court dates, one time showing up after the judge closed the court room for the day. The few times we spoke about the case specifics he was negligent about the details and misspoke about the individuals involved, order of events, general details and circumstances of the case.
