Tremendous on all fronts; guests were consistently saying best band Ive ever heard. The musical range is impressive 5-6 of the band members can sing amazingly well so they have a nice rotation of voices depending on style of music. They are pricey (albeit not bad for a 10+ instrument ensemble) but its worth it!

If I could give Downtown Fever higher that 5 stars I would. This amazing band came to the Houston area for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding. The night was nothing short of phenomenal! The comment I kept getting from everyone is that they had never been to any event that as soon as the band started playing, every single table jumped up and ran to the dance floor, and it stayed that way the entire night. We could not be happier and could have kept dancing forever if time had allowed. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking yo create a memorable evening.

Went to a wedding a few months ago where Downtown Fever performed and can honestly say they are the best wedding band I’ve ever seen! Downtown Fever (11 pieces including 3 female singers & musicians who also sang as well as played) played at our daughters wedding this past weekend and on a scale of 10, we, and our guests, rate them at something like a 15. They were outstanding in every regard! They began with live dinner music which attracted people to the dance floor, and after dinner the party really began. We had told them the music we liked and didnt like (including songs and artists), and then Scott, the bandleader told us to trust him in his ability read the crowd as hell play to them, and that he did. The music was great, the dance floor was packed the whole night, with Scott (a person of numerous instrument(s) and singing talents) coming right onto the dance floor and was great as were the singers. There were times when this three horn musicians also came onto the dance floor and played, and it was enthusiastically received and well done. Downtown fever not only played great music under the direction of a very effective bandleader, but they also were truly entertaining. Our guest had a great time and raved about Downtown Fever. Scott played to the crowd and the band was a big contributor, if not the key contributor to a what we were told by guests was one of the best wedding party celebrations theyd ever attended - thank you Scott and Downtown Fever. I cant wait until our next party so we can do this again.

I have to say that downtown fever band does not disappoint. They are a very high energy Multi talented group of musicians . From the moment the first note is played until the last note is played at the end of the night all you want to do is get up and dance and sing along with the various hits that they sing everything from pop to R&B old-school funk you name it theyve got it !!! We are huge fans! We love their energy and their spirit. We have seen them in multiple venues and they never disappoint. We saw them at a 4th of July event and I asked if they would simply give a shout out to two Ukrainian boys we had visiting our family, they went above and beyond and came down into the audience and posed for pictures with the boys, danced with the boys and all in all gave a private concert experience. I cannot tell you how much we all appreciated that.

I saw this band at the pickle palooza in Mansfield. They are very high energy and very entertaining. They played all my favorite songs from the 60s 70s 80s, right through to Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. They will get you off your chair and dancing. Loved the vocals and the brass. Hello back in April of 2017 I was visiting Grand Prairie Texas with my girlfriend Laura we just happened to stop by that evening to have dinner at the Oasis nice resort and to our pleasant surprise we happened to catch a phenomenal band call the downtown fever band what a phenomenal sound they have the vocals are tight the Rhythm Section tight and the brass section just as tight its been a long time since Ive heard such a great band so much talent with the Downtown Fever Band now this is something that the band dont usually allowed but Scott was nice enough to allow me to sing a song to my girlfriend Laura an old school song by Al Green intitle Lets Stay Together thank you Scott for allowing me to do this was truly a magical evening for us thank you Downtown Fever Band you have now made me a loyal fan member thank you Scott

This is the FIRST review I have ever written...and it took time and effort to log in...so that should tell you how important this post was for me to give DFB FIVE STARS !!! They are simply first class, incredible and although they were almost twice as much as I had budgeted, they were 100% worth every single penny. I cut corners in order to stay in budget ... which was more work for me. they were hassle free...accommodating, and they truly know how to entertain guests from the ages of 94 - high school. Scott knows how to get guests on the dance floor and the band members entertain on a personal level as well. if I am ever in charge of another event I will only accept the position if DFB is available on that date. they truly are better than you can even imagine. hope this helps finalize your decision on which band to choose.
