This is the place I always go for my oil change! They are always quick, professional and the lobby area is comfortable. FYI: If you have kids, they have a small indoor playgroundThe best part of this place is the pictures of the areas they check and tell you if you need something done. I love this! I would also like to note I have not “sold” something when it is not needed. Been visiting this location for about a year now.I suggest you give them a try!
Customer service was great.Went to change my alternator, but they checked most of the things and provided recommendations which is very helpful.Repair cost was very reasonable compared to any other nearby automates.Overall excellent service
I am not normally one to EVER write a bad review but my experience at this location was not the greatest. I took my car into the auto shop because my engine light had turned on as well as my tire light which had been on for weeks. I checked the pressure in my tires and they were fine so I assumed it was the pressure sensor that was broken. I also ran an at home diagnostic which showed that the oxygen intake sensor was broken which is why the engine light was on. I told all this to the auto shop before I turned my car in to have a proper diagnostic run on the car again just to make sure. This was around 11:30. At 3:30 I called to see what was going on with my car because I was told I would receive a call after dropping off my car but never did. No one answered the phone and I wasn’t able to leave a voicemail due to the mail box being full. I called again about 5 minutes later and Peter picked up the phone. He said they hadn’t had time to get to the car yet, but said the engine light and tire light were not on and accused me of “holding my tongue” and lying about my engine light being on. Why would I lie about that??? Two hours go by with no call, so I show up at the auto shop to get my car because they were about to close and no one had called me yet. Not impressed.
In todays America, where if a perfectly healthy person went to a doctor, the doctor would definitely find something wrong with you and order a bunch of tests, charge you an arm and leg, finding a honest auto repair shop is next to impossible.I took my car to Caliber auto thinking my starter was bad as it would not start. I even took a quote from Peter asking how much it would cost to have the starter changed. So I was prepared to pay them. But after looking at my car they honestly said there was nothing wrong with my car and did not charge me a cent. I was blown away by their honesty. They even showed me the positive starter, battery tests saying everything is good.They could have easily said ohh yeah as you said, your starter is bad and charged me $450 to fix my perfectly good starter but they did not.These guys are honest. Believe me.Finding a honest auto repair shop is like finding a diamond in the desert. They rarely exist.These are very honest people. If you are new customers go to them, if you are already a customer, stick with them.
The place is the absolute BEST!! Gabriel Arias took the time to walk me through the details of my car issues. What I think I appreciated the most was I didnt feel pressured to have all these extra things done which is typical of most car shops! The waiting area is also really nice and super clean. Will definitely be using them for all future car need!
Safety inspection necessary for renewal of registration. Caliber served me promptly and provided a detailed report on anything that needed attention. Im a happy customer and will return to Caliber.
I had a brake light and notification come on my 2019 BMW X3 that said to replace my front brake pads. Needless to say, I was not happy because I just purchased the vehicle a month ago and I knew it would be expensive. I brought it into Caliber Auto Care and after they completed a full digital vehicle inspection (which is absolutely free with every visit!), they figured out that I did not need new brake pads because they were fairly new, but suggested that I get a diagnostic scan completed to see if the light and notification could be removed. I appreciated Peters transparency and lack of pressure to sell me something I didnt need. Not to mention, their waiting area is absolutely beautiful and they had complimentary Starbucks coffee and water.
This was my second visit to Caliber. The first time I went was a great experience. This visit did not live up to the first. The level of customer service that I received was not acceptable. On my first visit the employee that communicated with me was very thorough in his explanations. I had an oil change on that first visit, and they explained that my brake fluid was a little low. But that I did not need to get it taken care of right then. So when I had a maintenance light come on I took it back knowing that it was a possibility that I would have to refill brake fluid. After sitting with my daughter in the lobby for 45 minutes I finally went to ask about my vehicle. I was told that the brake fluid was fine (contradictory from the first visit), and that they just need to put some air in the tire. Once they brought my car around, and I turned it on, the warning light was still on. I went in to tell the employee that the warning light was still on, and he tried to tell me it would go off on its own. I knew this was not true so I argued that point. He was reminded by another employee that on Highlanders you have to reset it. When he could not get it to go off he took it back, and found that it needed more air. They had only put 34 psi, when Highlanders require 36. This should have been done properly the first time, and the warning light should have been turned off. I don’t know that I will be going back here. I felt like I was not a priority.

My 2004 Honda Accord had multiple significant repair needs. Some of the issues involved very detailed and precise work typically only done at a Honda dealership. Peter and his team worked very hard to fix all of the issues. They even reached out to the manufacturer for guidance and parts needed. Ultimately, they fixed all the issues and gave me a 3 year or 36,000 mile guarantee on the repairs. My car now drives better than ever before. They exceeded all my expectations on a professional and trustworthy business that stand behind their work. I’m completely satisfied and highly recommend Caliber in Plano.

This place awesome! The staff is very polite and accommodating. Starbucks and cold bottle water is offered while you wait in a very comfortable atmosphere. Not your normal automotive shop. I was helped by John Summey and he was very Informative. They also take pictures of the parts before they remove them and pictures after completion. Love this place! Thanks guys and gals!

I usually don’t write negative reviews for businesses, however the technician service was awful, and I can say no better about the customer service.We started using Caliber when they were called ServiceFirst, and we had a great experience. But the name was not the only thing that has changed since then.There are two major issues we faced. First of all, Caliber messed with our car and did not fix the issues. Secondly, when we tried to work with Caliber, they were rude and disrespectful, calling me a liar and other rude names.The first incident, during the beginning of 2021, we started noticing hot air coming out of the interior air conditioning vents and we took it to Caliber to fix. After diagnosis, they said that it was just Texas hot weather. We had to wait for a cold day for the Caliber technician to agree that there was actually an issue. Caliber didn’t even get the right issue. The second time, which was just a couple months ago, after heavy rain our car started to beep at us. We took the car to Caliber, and they kept our car for two days. There was no communication with us about their progress with our car. We eventually had to call Caliber to ask about the problem, only to be replied with, “we don’t know”. After four days, Caliber finally said that the problem was a leaky windshield. We found another company who specializes in fixing windshields, but after fixing the windshield, the car was still beeping. Caliber Auto Care technicians were not able to find what was wrong. The third incidence was on last Saturday, before a road trip to Austin, Texas. We noticed a small puddle of fluid under our car, indicating that it was leaking. We immediately took our car to Caliber. After they claimed they fixed the leaking, we picked up our car, immediately noticing that there were warning lights on the dashboard and the car was making a loud strange noise. We tried to take it back again, but nobody was there. We had to go to Austin with a broken car. After we came back from Austin, we took it back once again, and explained the problems to the person at the front desk. The customer service person said they would check with the manager, and call me back in thirty minutes. After several hours, not hearing from Caliber, we made an attempt to call them back. This time, customer service told us that their engineer tested the car and found no issues before they gave it back to us Saturday. If we want them to fix the issue, there would be another $700 charge. How did it pass an engineer’s test when there were warning lights on the dashboard and loud noises when the car was running? When we disagreed with Caliber, they straight up called us liars at our face. We took our car to another shop who looked at our car and said that Caliber Auto Care did not fix the leak and actually broke our car further. Caliber Auto Care has, for sure, lost us as a long term customer.

Our family continue to use Caliber because they are a great shop with fantastic staff. Christian was able to help w/ an electrical issue with my car and get me in and out in under 10 minutes. They are fantastic.

Excellent customer service! I went in for a vehicle inspection, knowing my turn signal lights were malfunctioning. The technician replaced the bulbs without charging me an extra fee for labor. This same service would have cost me more than one hundred dollars at the dealership.

All of the folks who work at this place are awesome. Kristan, Gabe & Javier are really good and communicate very well. My daughters car had issues between alternator and battery and it took over a week to figure out the issue. These guys esp Kristan worked very well with us and took care of us. UPDATE: It has now been weeks since management replied that they would be reaching out. I have not heard from anyone. Their reply to my review appears to be as dishonest as their service.SCAM alert! I’ve been going to Service First for years and was treated so well. The name wasn’t the only thing to change about this place. Told them my car needed aligned when I dropped it off. Got a call 30 min later saying a part needed to be fixed before they could do the alignment. The part and labor was going to cost just over $1,000. My senses told me this was fake news. I took it to someone I trusted but who’s shop is just too far to go to for regular maintenance. I explained what I was told by what is now Caliber Auto Care. He inspected that part and said that they were so full it and we’re trying to take advantage of me. As a now a former customer of this place I encourage everyone to get a second opinion before approving expensive mechanical work.
Took my car to this service center to get my state inspection, and since I was going to be there anyway, I figured I would do my oil change there instead of using the dealership like I usually do. Big mistake! The next morning, I moved my car out of the garage only to find a huge puddle of liquid (oil?) coming from my engine. Now off to the dealership to see what they messed up...UPDATE - I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Their customer service was excellent - they corrected the problem on the car (it is luxury brand and has an unusual valve system that they werent aware of), cleaned the oil spill in my garage, and even sent Tiffs Treats as an apology. Bottom line, I wouldnt take that car there next time given the different system, but I wouldnt hesitate to take my other vehicles.

I purchased new tires for my 2016 Dodge Ram and Caliber Auto Care was recommended for my front in alignment. I called ahead and set up an appointment with Kristian Luzon. Upon my arrival I was impressed by this new facility with respect to its design and cleanliness. It has the aura of a hospital . There was no waiting since I arrived upon schedule. Cassidy checked me in and my truck was immediately taken into a bay to have the work done. The waiting room is professionally designed with all the amenities needed by a business person or a mother with children. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable regarding any question that I had. When they told me my truck was being completed the differentiator that makes Caliber exceptional occurred. I was sent an email that contained pictures of all the work they performed on my truck. This even included the air filter. They validated their service so there was no question of their integrity as well as being fully competent in what needed to be checked to maintain the reliability and safety of my vehicle. Upon check out Kristian went over in detail what was performed on my truck and asked if I had any questions or concerns. This experience was most impressive. I found their prices to be a miniscule higher than other automotive shops. But for the piece of mind of obtaining superior verified service and a qualified professional staff to assist you, it is well worth the investment for your familys safety. I would like to thank Kristian Luzon and the staff of Caliber for a wonderful experience in performing work in my vehicle.

From the moment I pulled up to the moment my car was finishing up Miles was there to greet me and keep me updated with my car every step of the way and informed me of things going on with my car and took care of them. Highly recommend!!!! The gal checking me out was also very helpful and nice too. I will definitely come back 😁 Also, the interior waiting room and beverage area is impeccable and makes your wait a lot more comfortable compared to just dirty walls and plastic chairs at typical auto shops. Not to mention they have a kids play area which really helps for any parents getting their car serviced and have the kiddos with them 👍🏻
After arriving in Texas last year, we took our vehicles here for inspection. We also had an oil change on one of the vehicles. Professional, courteous staff. Clean facilities. Unlike other places, they didn’t try to get me to purchase “unnecessary repairs”. Highly recommended!
This is an incredible company, with aspiring corporate culture, and amazing people. I moved to TX from Hawaii last week after military service. I came in for state inspection for my out of state license plate. They got me in and out in 10 minutes, and got me for free! They said welcome to Texas. And they thanked me for my service. I will definitely recommend everyone to go there. Such a good company that is an aspiration for good is so rare to find! Love you guys!!!!
Super fast and professional work, really nice air conditioned lobby with free refreshments, but best of all is the customer service. This was one of the first places I came after moving back to TX from CA and the employees gave me that warm TX welcome I’d been longing for for years.
You can absolutely tell someone in the company studied up on customer service/experience to make it the best they can and it definitely shows.I had a 7am appointment for an oil change and it went flawless. They have a playground for the kids, they have a small dog park for the dogs. Their waiting room and cozy and even theres individual smaller side tables you can drag to your chair.All the employees were friendly and easy to talk to, they definitely value the person and not just the sale.They took photos and did a mini inspection of the vehicle, everything went as smooth as butter.This companys customer experience is a work of art and Ill gladly be returning for any car needs I have in the future.
This automotive servicing place is very good. They have around 8 parallel bay to work at the same time. They do most of the automotive jobs and few critical job at this place. They do not perform any body work though. The reception area is very good and cozy. They are let friendly. I did not see any one with their pet while I was there waiting for my car to be serviced.
This place is awesome!! I needed a state inspection and found them online. Their website is extremely helpful and easy to book appointments. As soon as I arrived, the technician checked me in a took my vehicle. I had absolutely no wait time. Their waiting area is beautiful and clean. They even have a kids play area! The service was fast and the technician went a step above by parking my car near the door since it was raining outside. I’m so happy I found this place. I will make sure to tell my friends and family about my experience.

While driving to an appt today I drove past Service First and thought.. they look like a good place to go and get my car inspection done. I’m new to TX and need to register my car this month. I stopped by after my appointment and was immediately greeted by Alex Mendez. He was super friendly and eager to help in anyway. The service was very quick and the establishment was very clean and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes. There was an issue with my break light or something and he told me they covered it for me. They inspected my car and fixed my light with no charge!!! No ones ever done that. He told me what other services they offer as well. I will definitely be back as they charge way better prices for oil changes from what he quoted. I really appreciated the friendly service. And I’d recommend this place to everyone hands down!!! Thank you Alex!!! You’ve made a big impact on my day and made this process super easy. The staff is very friendly and professional. However, I was disappointed the last time I went in. The mechanics told me my brake pads in the front were completely worn down and it was metal on metal and I would need the rotors replaced, as well. Their cost was much higher than the Honda dealership in McKinney so I brought my car to the dealer instead. The technician told me I actually had about one more oil change of use on the front brake pads and that the rotors did not even have to be replaced. I saved myself $270 by taking it straight to Honda of McKinney instead. I’d recommend shopping around.
I have taken my late model vehicles here often and I must say they are outstanding! Winston and the other team members do a great job and provide personalized service. They can do many things beyond the basics of inspections, oil changes and maintenance. They can trouble shoot problems with their skilled mechanics. The waiting room is extremely comfortable, K-cup coffee, water, WiFi, TVs, great music and lots of space. They have plexiglass at the counter and the facilities were extremely clean. I highly recommend them!
Extremely impressed with the transparency and clear cut pricing that they offer! I normally feel like I have to play detective and interrogator with auto repair shops to not get ripped off and had my spider-sense tingling when they started off with telling me there would be a $120 diagnostic fee since that usually just means that they read any error codes that the car may have thrown (something Autozone does for free), but I was blown away by the report that they sent me. It included pictures of what they found on my vehicle with clear cut pricing of parts/labor/total cost! And everyone I spoke to about my vehicle was extremely knowledgable about my vehicle - not just my make & model, but my actual vehicle! If I had to offer any suggestion to improve it would be minor stuff: communicate a little more frequently and stop answering the phone with that weird Its a great day.... greeting :) But this is really a shop that I think you can trust! Not an easy thing to find anymore. Nice work!

I went here for an inspection on my car in addition to a few other minor maintenance things. Firstly this establishment is spotlessly clean. With the thoughtfully placed hand sanitizer and plastic shield at the front desk, I trusted right away that they follow Covid sanitation standards. Aside from the neat appearance, each of the 3 employees that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. They got started on my car almost right away and had no problem patiently explaining my services. They even texted me pictures of the filters they swapped out.Needless 2 say I was impressed from beginning to end and will definitely return for breaks, oil change and whatever else my car needs in the future.

The staff at Service First Automotive are extremely nice and helpful. I came for a state inspection. The service rep came out in seconds, escorted me into the plush waiting area and offered me a free beverage. They have Starbucks coffee! The service was very fast. Ill return here the next time I need any work on my car. 💖
Great service but i was disappointed in the pricing of the part I needed. I was charged ~$240, the dealer only charges $192 and OEM parts via numerious on-line options < $150..that seems like a pretty big mark up. Also, I foget to metnion my military service for a discount....
I was SO IMPRESSED with Service First! Everything about my visit was stellar -which is not usually the case when dealing when I have to spend money on my car. I was in & out before my lunch break ended, the inspection and report were very detailed, the price was lower than expected, and the staff went out of their way to provide a very positive experience. In addition-the place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. They have earned a permanent customer and I highly recommend this location.
Quick and honest
I have never enjoyed a visit to an auto service place until going to Service First. I went for a state inspection. When I pulled up, I was instantly greeted by one of the engineers. He escorted me inside to get all of my information. When you go inside, there are entertainment options: computers, a big-screen tv, comfortable love seats, and a children’s play center (equipped with a large slide). John greeted us and offered us a cold beverage. He efficiently completed all of the paperwork on his tablet. We waited 30 minutes. During the wait, a staff member asked if it was okay for my 20-month-old to have a toy. When I needed to change my baby, the restroom was so clean and well-scented. It is clear that the employees take pride in the appearance and experiences of the customers. Lastly, on the way to the car, John and the receptionist offered to allow us to return for my baby to simply play in the play area (without having to have my car serviced). The receptionist said, “you’re family now, and that’s what we do for family.” John walked us to my car and handed us two ice-cold water bottles for the road. I will definitely return for my next oil change!

Automotively challenged women: GO HERE!... I already felt great about this place because of the great reviews. They quote oil change price options over the phone. If theres a wait, they greet you in the parking lot and let you know about how long. You can sit in your car for the whole oil change!... I said I wanted the lowest priced option. Miles, a very nice and handsome young man, explained why he recommends the middle price option, with absolutely no hard sell nor fear-based (no your-car-will-die-if-you-dont-pay-us-more type stuff) b.s. He practiced excellent business by doing something extra to encourage my return; it worked: I am a customer for LIFE!!!
Very clean and wonderful customer service! I came just to get my oil plug loosened because a different shop tightened it too much. They offered to do the full oil change to make up for the other shop. They were making no money off me and still offered to help further. Thats above and beyond customer service and I will not forget it! Thank you Reid!
Great 1st impression Mar 2019. Got coupon in mail for discounted service so I took advantage of $5 off annual car inspection. Promptly greeted at door and services needed entered onto tablet. Waited only 30 min or less (Mon PM) before job done. Waiting area is very nice. Brought car to front door ready to go. Mgr said they provide veterans discounts. UPDATE Smart mgr to notice and comment on this review to increase his business. Keep doing what you are doing and I will be back in June for another vehicle inspection. UPDATE Jun 2019 Added 5 star to review after 2d visit again for annual car inspection with coupon. It took even less time than with the other car in Mar 2019. Barely had time to sign onto free WiFi connection before the car was ready on a Wed PM.

I have brought two cars to this shop in the past 6 months since moving to Plano. I have been impressed by their level of service each time. Today I brought my car in for a check engine light that had come on. I was expecting a hefty bill. Instead after Service First test drove and the light going out by itself, they had the integrity to tell me they couldnt diagnosis a problem. They charged me nothing. Its nice to find an autorepair that does the right thing.
Cannot recommend this place enough - first time, scheduled appt online, they took me early - oil was changed in 20-30 minutes, and at a discount too. Friendly and honest - everyone was wonderful. I brought my 2011 Lexus ES350 for Wheel alignment and Service Advisor Peter was very courteous and took care of me very professionally and Avery helped me quick with quick check out.I had installed brand new tires from Discout Tire and right after that i immediately took my vehicle for alignment at Service First since my previous tires were wearing out front ones and vehicle was pulling slightly and after the alignment i can feel day and light difference.I highly recommend!
My battery died unexpectedly; they came to give a jump so I could drive over for a replacement. They gave a great quote for replacing it. Nice honest people; clean place. I definitely recommend this place if you need work on your car.
Amazing is one word to explain this place. Excellent service, excellent customer service, very clean facility, friendly staff. I cannot brag enough! I will be bringing my truck here for oil and filter changes.

My fiancé took her car to get serviced at the Plano location. Every single person that works here is professional. My fiancé said that she had the best experience servicing her car here.Nice, brand new facility with various amenities inside of the waiting area. They even provide a kids area in case your little ones happen to tag along.I remember the first time we came here for an A/C service, they waived all the fees so it was free since they could not find out what was going on. When was the last time you had a free service at a mechanic shop?Make sure you bring your business here because you will be treated well and pricing will be very fair.

Excellent and fast service! I made an appointment online and brought my car in for a State Inspection. Service First took my car on time, and had completed the inspection in under 30 minutes, as promised.
Their waiting room is fancy with a kids play structure and iPads with games. The main customer service guy was really nice and friendly, but most of the desk staff looked at me like they were annoyed that I interrupted their chatting time... even though I was the only customer there.The best thing about this place is that is new, so not very busy. If you need work done in the middle of the day, I highly recommend them because it will be fast. I plan to go back to get my tires rotated because, even though its not free like it would be at Discount Tire down the street, their efficiency and nice waiting room are worth $20.
Great service! Everyone is super nice and helpful. They performed a state inspection for both cars and an oil change for one all under a hour! Best part is the play area for the kiddos! Second best part is that coffee machine :) They didnt try to upsell anything. And the sweet girl at the front desk was so so nice to my three year old. Such a great experience. I highly recommend!!

Great place with awesome people. I asked them to help me find a leak which they did. Also, they showed me where my trailer wiring was not done correctly which could have shorted out my brake lights. Very thorough and competent team. Spend 3 minutes there and you will see what I mean.
They helped me even though it was past closing time. Everyone is super friendly. And they have a playground for kids!!! Ill be coming back. Felt the neighborhood vibe for sure. Loved the experience.
