The staff in the service department was friendly and courteous, and the service was definitely performed just fine. The problem that I had was organization and communication. My part was delivered to the dealership on 6/30 according to the parts department. I never did get a call from the service dept or parts dept to let me know to bring my Cherokee back in. I happened to stop in on other business on 9/24 and checked with parts...once it was brought to the service dept attention I was able to being it to the dealership the next day. And of course same day completion. Owner better consider investing in new computer system to link all debts together, so nothing falls thru the cracks again.

I took my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee to York for an oil change service on 9/10. The washer fluid low light was on when I left the car with them. When my vehicle was returned to me the low washer fluid light was still on despite being marked it had been filled on the work order.When the error was brought to the attention of the young woman who checked me out, she went to the service area. Someone returned from the service area and asked for the keys to my car. No explanation, no apology for the mistake, just can I have your keys. I declined and asked to speak with the service manager.I explained to the service manager about the washer fluid. I also explained to him I had concerns about my brakes as they have been squealing. The measurements on the work order indicated the brake pads were in good shape. I explained I had little confidence in the information on the work order based on the issue with the washer fluid. The service manager filled the washer fluid and used a tool to measure the brake pads there on the lot without lifting the car. His measurements were the same as the invoice for the front brake pads, but were 3mm less for both rear pads. The shops measurements were unreliable just as I had thought.The next week, I received a call asking if I had received my survey in email. I informed the young lady on the phone I had not but would like to complete a survey because my visit did not go well. She apologized and expressed that someone by the name of Katera could give me a call that day. I requested Katera call back on a specific day due to my work schedule. I did not receive a call from Katera. The morning following the day Katera was to call, I called Katera from my workplace and spoke with her. Katera stated she had her days mixed up and apologized for not calling. Because I was at work, we made arrangements for Katera to expect a call from me between 2p-3p. When I called to York shortly after 2p (approx 2:10p) I was informed Katera was at lunch and would call me back. Today is 10/6 and I have not heard from and do not expect to hear from Katera.This is not my first poor experience with this dealership; however, it is my last time taking my vehicle to them and expecting they will provide quality service, because they do not. My first clue should have been they dont even take the time to get up from their work stations to greet you when you pull into their garage.

I brought my Jeep in due to an issue with a stuck caliper. Mark recommended some other maintenance services due to the mileage. The repairs and service were completed timely and they let me know what to expect and when. They show they are interested in having me as a customer for life by being proactive and keeping my vehicle in top running shape! Im very happy and will return for regular maintenance!

Battery wont hold charge. There 4 days and reassured for the 5TH TIME Battery is fine. 4 days later Battery is so dead it will not even unlock the door.

I was lucky enough to have no wait, I was there about 30 min, everyone was nice, I brought my own oil, they forgot to put the extra back in my car, but when I called they were nice enough to stay over a few min past closing so I could pick it up.

Was ok with price but kinda HIGH. But when i picked up truck had the rims on truck had Grease on them and were not cleaned up. So for the price i paid for the work the rims should have been cleaned up of grease from the service.

Friendly service writer in service bay for oil change, another lady came in when done to say that back brakes and rotors need immediate attention yet never offered to book service to get work done or even ask if I would like to get this done there and get an appointment. I brought my vehicle there when it was Westgate never had a problem with getting recomended service needs addressed.

The staff are very friendly in the service department. Shame they cant seem to keep shop workers/mechanics - either they underpay or mistreat them. Service is slow and you can see the remaining staff are pretty frazzled - I trust management will do their job properly and fix whatever the staffing problem is quickly before they lose any more good people. I dont want to go to another dealership for warranty and service work, but spending 3 hours waiting for an Express oil change isnt how I want to spend my time on any given day.All that said, you can tell the remaining staff care - they were so apologetic for the delays, even though it wasnt through their own incompetence that the delays we occurring. Ill certainly be giving them another shot in a few months when it is time to return.

I bought an oil change package just before the pandemic that included 3 oil changes. Since my car sat idle for 6 months I requested an extension on the expiration date of the 3rd oil change. I was told they couldnt do it/it was against company policy, and out of their hands. Not sure how every other business is making accommodations after the pandemic, but they cant- especially since it is a service that I already paid for, and would cost them next to nothing to perform. How is that a good way to do business/keeping the customer happy?

Service was affordable and good. However, it took a long time and even longer because my car was pulled out, but somehow my keys and paperwork was thrown in a drawer and I had to finally go ask if it was complete. I had not left the waiting room so I know they did not call my name.

I made my service reservation a week in advance. My vehicle was not serviced. The vehicle was at the dealership for 2 days and never diagnosed. I live 2 hours round trip away. It was a huge inconvenience and expense. I should have been told prior to leaving the vehicle if they were not able to honor the appointment.

York Chrysler is a great dealership with friendly ppl and fast service. All other dealers turned me away saying no appointment no service. Went here and they always get you in with there Express Oil change lane. It didnt matter that I took a Lexus to a Dodge dealer! 🤣

I brought my vehicle back to this dealership after they found an issue last time with the transmission but could not prove to the warranty company that the service was needed. I continued to have issues with our van that I thought they could go deeper into since they had already done work on the vehicle. That wasnt the case. I gave them several symptoms of the same transmission issue, but they only chose to focus on one and said that it wasnt doing it. On top of that, they couldnt diagnose the issue and simply said that it needed a new transmission. Of course the warranty company rejected that because York couldnt justify such an expense based on the one issue they couldnt find while ignoring all the rest of the issues. Not only that, but they are very difficult to reach and slow to get back to you. I had more details from the warranty company than I did from York. They just seemed to be uninterested in finding out my problem and wanted to get rid of me so they could get to the next in line. This is my second bad experience in a row with Yorks service and the last time I will go there.

Scheduling my warranty work and oil change on their website was quick and easy, and the service team was helpful and not pushy on recommending other things my vehicle might need soon. The woman at the payment counter was so nice and helpful, too. It seems like their entire staff really cares about their customers, and giving us the best experience. I took my car in for warranty work and an oil change. I purchased the warranty with my used vehicle at this dealership but the process took forever to have work completed. It took 3 days to simply get an answer on work being covered under warranty. At no point during the week+ I waited did the dealership reach out to explain what was going on. It took 8 calendar days to complete the work. Overall, the work was completed satisfactory but the process was terrible. I still gave it 4 stars due to the quality of work and warranty coverage, but the communication must be better.

Diagnosed an issue and checked to make sure battery was not affected. This issue was caused by installation of aftermarket parts. I should have been charges (even though is under warranty). Shop recognized me as very good customer and did not charge. I will definitely return!

I had a recall on my Jeep. It was basically a computer update which took a couple of hours. they have a very facility but I really didnt want to hang around for that length of time. They provided a ride home then picked me up when service was completed. Great experience!

I have a 3 month old Grand Cherokee, something got in my tire. I drive alot daily for my job, so a fast repair was important to me. They got me right in, fixed and out the door in an hour with no appointment! Price extremely reasonable as well. Much appreciated!!

My daughter bought a used Nissan from this dealer, and started having problems with it after we had got it home. I contacted Jeff, the salesman, and he made arrangements for a tow truck to pick it up and even had a rental for her while it was being fixed. This place is a class act, from the folks in the sales dept to the people in the service garage (mainly Becky and Bryce). They fixed it at no charge to us, and we truly appreciate it. This is the place to go to buy a vehicle, where customer satisfaction still exists. Go check them out, I know I will for my next vehicle.

My 2020 Dodge Ram had a knocking noise coming from the front sub-frame. The problem was apparently some loose nuts/bolts the factory did not quite get tight enough. The service department went through and tighten all suspension parts which took care of the problem.

I asked for an oil change (diesel) and 5 tire rotation. Was told oil change takes two hours. Left it afternoon of Monday returned 2 hours after they opened on Tuesday. Was told it wasn’t even in the shop yet. Asked again in another hournand wasn’t in the shop yet. I complained and it was done in about another hour and half. Also, only got a 4 tire rotation. Service was not great.
