Fast, quick and sufficient service. John I think is the manager was very nice and polite. They got my car in and out. He honored all coupons and answered all questions I had. Ill definitely go back for service again. I got a oil change and wheel alignment.

I wouldnt even put one star for them. I went in for my car to get radiator and coolant hoses replaced and flushed. My car was over heating. Paid 1,100 or so and they missed a hose broke down with coolant everywhere. The coolant reservoir has old sludge looking substance. So I know and have proof they did not do what I paid for. I called in a straight panic. I was broken down with my daughter in the car. The guy was very smug and treated it very lightly. Even told me he had good mechanics. As if I was dishonest. I snapped. He said he was offended. I felt offended that this establishment robbed me. I am waiting to hear what their resolution is on the topic. It took awhile for me to not be so upset now I am thinking they owe me some of that money back because a mechanic did a sloppy job and not even all of what I paid for.

I had a starter go out while I was in town here and went to replace it myself. I was having some issues w the electrical connectors and after a while I had enough of it. I dropped it off to be finished. What really got me is, it should have been maybe a 30-45 min job on a car lift. They charged me for 1.5 hours of work when they supposedly said it would have been billed for 2 hrs. On average I would have expected to be charged $50-60. Instead the bill came up to be $166! For a frickin starter install that was already halfway done?? They got it in just fine though and it starts up just as it should. But especially since I was 1 State away at a 2.5 hour drive home and then back again later, I think I was way over charged. But as far as I can tell, service was fine.

I was told I couldn’t return a set of wiper blades that are brand new because “they’re like brakes they can’t be returned”They are unused I asked them which blades would fit my truck and they told me the wrong ones. They can’t even be mounted on to the wiper arm. So I can’t return them and I paid $60? Just a reminder why I stay away from pep boys.

I was pleasantly surprised. I got my tires changed today and some car noises checked out. I had a great experience. Prices were reasonable. The staff was courteous and didnt jerk me around. I didnt have to wait long. I cant believe I passed this place up so many times. I definitely recommend this place for car service and I hope you have a similar experience.

Good work at fair prices, only fixes what needs fixed and will inform properly if another shop has made mistakes in diagnosis.

This place used to be amazing, even after Pep Boys took over. But with new management and a new crew, it has went way down hill. Prices have went up and integrity has gone down.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles here for the past 9-10 years. The guys that run that shop always do great, honest work, at a very fair price. I was nervous upon hearing they were bought by Pep Boys, but I can happily say that other than some much needed shop updates, it’s as if nothing changed. I will continue bringing all of my family’s vehicles here as long as I’m able.

My brother and I managed the Plainfield Tire Center for 32 years. All the same employees are still there. They continue to repair and service all the vehicles for my family. A total of 5 cars and trucks. My brother also continues to have his work done at this store.

The staff seems honest. They completed work in a timely manner and were straight forward when speaking about what work needs doing.

I have been by there 3 times now. Each time only 1 or 2 cars in the bays, mechanics standing around drinking coffee and they cant do a oil change without a appointment. I can understand a appointment for major work but not being able to do a 15 minute oil change when 3 mechanics are standing around is unacceptable. Poor service.I am done trying to give them our business.

Robbie is an excellent guy and helps a lot with anything u have questions with! The service is superb and the membership is very rewarding! They always fix the issue and swiftly return my car without a thing missing besides the problem I came in with!

Manager told me he would have to call around to find the part I needed and then schedule time to put the part on .... so he suggested I just go to a dealership and have it done. Very poor customer service.... guess he didn’t want/need my business.

Instead, Im going to offer a few tips to both business owners and potential consumers.First, a few tips to business owners:1) In todays world, PLEASE keep in mind how easy it is for your customers to immediately go on-line and post a review of your business.2) The way you treat ONE customer can go a long, long way...3) If a removed part is BEYOND REPAIR, then you should really save the part to help illustrate to your customer why the part was replaced!4) Is a $7 part worth losing thousands of dollars in repeat business in the future?And, a few tips for consumers:1) ALWAYS ask, What is the total cost going to be?2) ALWAYS ask, What exactly needs to be replaced?3) ALWAYS ask, Can I please see the part that you removed? (I swear there is a law that says they must do this...or, maybe not in Indiana.)I hope these handy tips are found to be useful by all!

Had some work done here a month ago and was very happy. Went back this week and the guy that helped me before was busy outside. The bald man named Rob in the office got up and came out to help us with his arms crossed and stood way far away from the counter when my husband had a picture he wanted to show him. He told my husband he had no idea what was wrong with the car. We took the picture to the next mechanic who told us exactly what was wrong with it and around how much it would cost to fix it. There was no reason for Robs rudeness and now will take our car to R&M Automotive, INC. They are very fair and great people.

This place is Pep Boys now. New owners. However same great people. They do a great job!

I bought new tires here a few weeks ago. Service was decent and prices were competitive. This location had a small waiting room (just a wall with a couple chairs, really). Overall a good experience.

I took my car in for a simple nail in the tire patch up. They completed it by a plug incorrectly, which cost me having to completely replace the tire 1 month later. I would highly recommend to never use this company. I got my tire replaced by Discount Tires which were extremely professional, broke everything down for repair and price.

We stopped in for a minor problem and they fixed it properly very nice and courteous people.
