And on the day of service, the team arrived early and diligently completed the job faster than I had anticipated. J & L did a great job in removing a locust tree that had fallen from Hurricane Henri. They also ground the the stump and leveled out the area so it looks like the tree was not even there. They also did a nice job in cleaning up after they were done. They had very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend them.

I had used J&L a couple of years ago to trim 5 or 6 trees on our property. They did an outstanding job. When we realized two of our trees were ailing and needed to come down I immediately called them. They gave me a general time when they would come (about 3 weeks later) and when I spoke to them the week before, they gave me the date. At about 10 AM 4 people showed up with all the modern equipment to take down the trees, grind the stumps and do it with no issues to my other landscaping. I hired J&L to take down 9 trees on my property. The gentlemen who came to the jobsite were great, these guys have definitely mastered tree removal, they almost made it look easy. By the end of the day they had all of the trees down, they grinded down the stumps and cleaned up the property as if they were never there. We hired J&L Budget Tree Service for tree removal and trimming/pruning, and we were very happy with their professionalism, fees and service. They were reasonably priced compared to some other tree services that had outrageously high prices. Usually I don’t leave reviews but I have to because These guys did an amazing job…from start to finish. They removed a cherry oak tree all the way down to the stump and prune two other trees. My backyard looks more open and roomy. All the neighbors are also impressed with the quality of work. They also did an amazing job cleaning up and disposing of whatever leaves and tiny branches. After completing my second job with this company, I wanted to share my experience. The first was branch removals and the second was a large tree removal (which the huge trunk they were able to grind down and its gone) and pruning for a large maple. Both times meeting with Jose, I could immediately tell he cared about his customers and his company mission. He was honest and even on work I asked him about, he would tell me what was really needed and what he recommended we not do. Not many businesses would do that. The job his team did both times were great and done with care and were also very reasonably priced. Its important to note that after the second job, I had a follow-up and when I reached out, they immediately reviewed and took care of, no questions asked. I say this because when I hire a contractor, its important for me that I know they will still be there for me, the customer. I am extremely pleased with the work that Nelson and his team did on my property. They arrived on time, they walked the property with us, they put out mats to protect the yard, they were very careful not to damage anything around the tree they were removing which was a very tall and large triple tree and they took it down piece by piece very carefully, logs were cut into pieces for us, the stump was ground below the surface, they cleaned up everything, they worked very efficiently, they worked very well as a team, everyone had his role and performed it to the highest level and they were very thorough. Over the years I’ve had other tree service companies take down trees but J&L is the first one I would recommend to others and I will definitely use J&L Budget Tree Service again. This is actually second time, j & L was called in to cut some trees. They did a fantastic job, cutting carefully as not to let branches fall close to house and made sure the lawn was clear of any debris when they finished their tasks.

Very happy with there service, I have a big tree in the corner of my yard and I have a small yard with a big pool and nobody wanted to touch it except them, and he was very confident so I decided to go with them, they came in with a crane and 4 hours later that tree was gone. We just had 2 trees removed and lots of trimming of dead branches. We have many old and big trees. The crew was very thorough and took extra care not to cause damage. They put down metal sheets when driving on grass to prevent ruts. Cleaned up everything very completely including making sure no sawdust on neighbors driveways. I would recommend them highly.

Simply the best. My wife and I moved to a new house last year and planned to get some work done to our backyard. Half of our backyard was like a wooded lot. So we had a lot of trees. We initially planned for 12 mature trees with ground clearing and stump grinding. Right from the onset we knew Orlando and his team were great at what they did. He came out, assess the property, took pictures, sent me a formal quote and talked me through the process. We ended up adjusting the size of our project to 9 trees and Orlando even came back out to reassess! I cant say enough about the work they did. Deeply disappointed with the overall experience - would have thought they’d have paid closer attention to us but clearly they don’t care. Our first attempt to reach the company, the phone line was down, second time we called too late in the day apparently and were quickly raced off the phone. They worked as a team to remove this gigantic tree limb from my roof and trimmed all of the broken branches. Nelson the team leader was excellent, professional and friendly. We moved to a property that had multiple trees that were hazardous. With two small children, we actually grew concerned with the amount of large limbs that dropped during NJ storms. We received estimates for removal and pruning that simply were hard to understand or were too high for our budget. Jose from J&L came to our property and with his expertise and laser pointer patiently gave us a tutorial on what should be removed due to hazards; what growth was dead or dying; and what we could expect in a 5-15 year window. He was not a salesman and was very straightforward. Their price was very fair. The 3 man crew that performed the job was brilliant. Jose had said that they would leave our property cleaner than before the removals and pruning. I thought he was exaggerating, but it was true. The yard, the street, were meticulously cleaned before they departed. I have recommended J&L to friends already, (and they are also thrilled), and will continue to do so. They cut many of the trees surrounding the house, trimmed the hedges, and did a great job grinding down tree stumps. They ground up the stumps completely! Most tree guys will only grind up the stump surface but they go well below grade to remove the stump completely. I will use them again. I recently purchased a house, and with all of the expenses adding up, I called budget tree service because I wanted a good deal on tree removal.Understanding that when you shop for a deal, you most times have to forfeit service or quality... I was BLOWN AWAY by what Budget Tree Service did for our property!We received a quote that was very fair, we were able to have service provided quickly, as opposed to most companies standard wait times. I was able to speak to the same person every time I called for any questions, and they came out for a same-day quote.The day of service was flawless. I had tree lights screwed into the trees that I didn’t take down, and the foreman of the job said he would take care of it no problem. The lights were screwed into so many places, yet they were carefully wrapped up so neatly when I checked on them. These guys had a job at the neighbors across the street, cut down 7 trees & chipped them up. So we got them to cut down a very diseased tree for us at a very good price & chipped it up & left a pile for us. Very good work, wonderful equipment, cleaned up very neat, would definitely recommend them!!
