Id wait on him, Hes an excellent doctor that truly listens. Best phych doctor Ive seen in my entire life and Im a nurse thats worked with phych docs.
I loved Dr. Azhar, but I was dropped as a patient WITHOUT being told of a NEW policy that if you dont see him for 5-6 months he drops you. May I add DURING A PANDEMIC! No working with us, no offering another option NOTHING. This first lady I talked to in the office on Feb 22 around 2:30 was rude. Today around 11:20 on 2/23 the lady explained it a little better. Dr. Azhar cut his hours at the last minute and decided to drop patients he hasnt seen. Honestly, looking at these reviews as well as my personal experiences with BHES, why the HECK are they still allowing this Dr. to work there! Im so upset about this. No concern for the mental well being of their patients. Complete BS. Miss Linn is amazing as a therapist but I cant do business with this place again. My family as well. Find a better place.
If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!! Haven’t been able to get in for an appointment (on their end bc of covid)Now in need of a refill, so call to schedule and I’m told that they can no longer see us bc we haven’t been in in 5 months (BECAUSE OF THEM)What a joke. How unprofessional. Don’t schedule, don’t give them any business.
Tried to schedule an appointment for a child during a pandemic. The office refused because it had been 5 months since last appointment, which means that hes no longer a patient. No refills offered, no referrals offered, just a flat out we wont see him anymore. As a mental health professional, this is blatant patient abandonment, which is not just unethical but also illegal.
My son was a patient of Dr. Azhar’s for three years for treatment of ADHD. When my son called for a consultation appointment with him and one of the owners called back and said they would not see my son anymore. We paid our bills, we were respectful patients and there was literally NO REASON for refusing to see him other than my son is trying to get medical clearance for Aviation(which is NOT a reason to refuse giving an appointment to a patient). We requested the appointment within the one year of his previous appointment and were adamantly refused for NO REASON. We even went into the office to explain our needs for the appointment! I wasn’t even aware a Dr could end a patient relationship for no valid reason. DISGUSTED with the professionalism of this office and their LACK of dedication to their patients.Find somewhere else! They are not out to help patients here!!
Extremely caring staff and knowledgeable professionals. My teen is being treated for bipolar disorder and accompanying depression, seeing both a therapist and a psychiatrist. We have never had any issues with cancelled or late appointments, billing, medications, or poor services.
I have been a patient for over ten years and I am very happy with the services I have received. Throughout the years, my whole family has received their services. We have used counseling, psychiatrist and even ACT review/ preparation for our children who did very well in the ACT!Dr. Brucker is a knowledgeable, and caring professional who has helped me remain stable. My other doctor is Dr. Fazal Ahmed, am amazing brilliant and very human psychiatrist who is VERY assertive in his diagnosis. He has treated my son since he was 9 years old. Today, my son has been successful and his professional intervention has played an important role in his success.I have total confidence in these professionals who are part of the family of BHES. With that said and with my experience and the successful experience of my family, I can only rate them with a five Stars. In addition, their staff is VERY friendly, professional and attentive to the patients needs. This has been my consistent experience for the last 10 + years as a patient, with BHES in Plainfield, IL.
Dr. Azhar consistently runs at least 40 minutes late for appointments. The last time, he was 60 min behind and no one from the front office bothered to call and let me know. Today were at 30 min and counting. He is helpful, however, once you get in!
I guess everyone can have a different experience at the same place, but I have never had an issue with BHES. The front office ladies are fantastically awesome and sweet.I see Dr. Azhar about once a month. I find him to be very understanding and knowledgeable. He can sometimes run a little behind 15-20 minutes is the most that I have seen (personally). As for billing, I sometimes run a bill between visits and they just request the payment before I see the doctor. I dont think that is unreasonable. It sounds maybe some other folks have had a different experience, but I love the people here and the doctor.
I have not had any negative experiences here. Everyone in the office is extremely kind and helpful. I see Dr. Murphy, and shes been wonderful.
When I first started going here, I loved it. But after three different psychiatrist, because they randomly kept leaving, and two different therapists it started getting frustrating. I stopped seeing my second therapist as she just kept telling me to download phone apps and wasnt really helping. They also canceled appointments a lot, and trying to reschedule was always a pain, because they would fill up, so it would get pushed out. For billing...this was really annoying. Even after telling them when I came in for my appointment I would pay my balance, they sent my bill to collections the day I came in. I rarely got the bills in the mail, I usually didnt know my balance until I showed up. Then on top of it all they decided to close the location I can get to, so now I have to find someone new altogether. What started off as what seemed to be a promising place, ended up feeling like a wasted time and did little to help my mental state with the added stress of the above.Even after a phone call with them about the amount the sent to collections, they agreed to drop some charges due to the canceling and changes of so many appointments. They apparently lied to me over the phone as they have still not dropped the charges they told me they would.
They dont care about their patients. Small outstanding bill with PPO insurance who was laid off a few months back and is on medication. Wont work out an arrangement. I hope I dont have get sick from lack of medication.
Lack of communication! Don’t care about their patients!
Very professionals, have known them for years!
