I went to go get my car washed and an interior clean. No signs were up about no interior cleaning and I didn’t find out after until after my car wash was already paid for. When paying for my car wash the computer said for any other services go in and speak to an attending. The attendant the front desk just told me sorry I thought the sign was up and made no effort to fix the issue. Why i was writing this review I saw a car driving to the bay and started to be detailed. I would truly hope that everybody thinks twice about going to this location as they have a horrible customer service!
Have had unlimited wash for both our vehicles for 4 years. The service has seriously declined over the last two years. They’ve upped the interior clean (vacuum and wipe down) from $10 to $15 while the quality of the work has declined. They run your mats through a cleaner and do a quick once over with the vacuum and wipe the dust off the dashboard. Today I got my interior cleaned and there was still dog hair everywhere. When I asked about it he said that the vacuum wouldn’t pick it up. Interesting because the seats hadn’t been moved and I was able to come home and remove most of the hair with one pass with my home vac. Canceling both unlimited washes and finding another car wash.
Ultimate wash made my 2011 truck look like it was just detailed.Free vacs too. Would like to see an outdoor free automatic mat cleaning machine for use in warmer weather and a free tire air fill station.
Best oil change and wash place in the area. Long time business that earns loyalty
They should have more stars. Always help me with anything I need and have free vacuums available most the day.
Great place, weve been going there for years. Great service, reasonable prices!
I received the BEST service Ive ever had at Crossroads Auto Spa. I just got my husbands FILTHY car washed, detailed and oil changed, for Fathers Day and they did FANTASTIC!!!I was greeted by the manager Shawn, who arranged my oil change and recommended the interior detailing (it was way beyond the regular interior cleaning they offer). Shawn was so professional and understanding that I had no clue what I was doing or asking for. He helped me pick the best package available for the services I wanted.I then saw Thomas at the cashier counter who was so helpful and accomodating. This was my second time in two weeks dealing with Thomas as I brought my car in a week earlier. Thomas was so sweet and helpful as well. Finally, I met the Superhero, Michael, who detailed the interior of the car (which was a disaster- reminder, my husbands car, not mine). Michael took a full hour making sure the inside was in top shape. He did a fantastic job as well!Let me end by saying I am the mother of three boys around the same age as these young men, and I was impressed with their professionalism, politeness and patience. Kudos to Crossroads for hiring employees like Shawn, Thomas and Michael!!! A customer for life!!Vicky H.
Great price and fantastic service.
Got a full detail. My car looks like new. Took a few hours longer than I was told so Good thing I didnt need my car. Only issue I had.
Ive been going to Crossroads for years. If theres a better car wash in the entire state, I havent found it. Every time I take one of my cars there, it looks amazing when theyre done. Even better, the folks who work there really go the extra mile to make my cars look great. Additionally, every person Ive ever spoken with that works there has been courteous, helpful, and super nice. Im a customer for life. Thanks Team Crossroads, youre the best of the best.
Im on the road a lot for work. It was snowy and cold and I was trying to change my wipers. I called because I couldnt figure it out and they installed them for free. I also got an oil change in under 15 minutes and they let me save my free car wash for a nicer day! So happy with Crossroads Auto Spa and their kind and helpful staff! Thank you!
I have known the owners of this car wash for years. I always thought they were professional and it was a good value. Last year I spent five months in Bethesda Maryland. I would spend $38 a car wash for pretty much the same type of car wash I pay $18 at Crossroads. I read the comment of somebody that posted that he saw Fox News on in the reception area And he refused to patronize this business any longer. Lol and thought that I am one of the many thousands of people from Illinois that are fleeing this bankrupt state from brainwashed people like him. I will continue to patronize this business for the great service they give to the community as I get ready to move out of this state!
Fast oil change
Always fast and courteous
I came in one day needing an oil change long over due they took me in quick and changed my oil but in reality they never actually changed my oil and now my car is in need of repairs bad. Thanks so much for making me spend more money
Very quick service. Decent price.
I have been using this car wash for 2 years. I have 3 cars that I have Pancho completely detail annually and that have their fast pass membership. Their attention to detail is top notch. The staff is always very helpful, and Anthony, one of the finish detailers is always happy and upbeat when he finishes off my cars. Best place in town!!!
I really like that they made sure the mirrors were taken care of, as well as the ease window. Their vacuums are top notch as well!
They were able to take me without an appointment after many other places turned me down, the price was half of what the other places were posting and they did a really good job. I had the full detailing done, interior, including shampoo, exterior and trunk. Happy with the results.
Best car wash in town!!!
Full interior detailing jobs are very thorough and well done. The cheaper cleaning packages are done in 5 minutes and a very haphazard fashion. If you promise to do a job in 20 minutes then take the 20 minutes, not 5.
I visited Crossroads for the first time a few weeks ago and will definitely be back. I love being able to bring my car in for an oil change and full service car wash, all in one stop. The price of the two services combined was far less than I would have spent getting these services from two different businesses. The staff was friendly and professional. I left with a clean car and have had no issues relating to the lube and filter service. Cant ask for much more than this.
Terrible experience! Went in as a new customer for an oil change. They accidentally drained my transmission fluid, but didnt tell me and didnt refill it, they just let me drive away.I took it to another shop because it wasnt driving right. Unfortunately I didnt realize it was related to the oil change (why would they touch the transmission fluid?). It was found to be 3.5 quarts low - not an amount that just disappears in two days. There was also transmission fluid around the pan bolt, a clear sign that it had been touched very recently. My car was running fine with no leaks before the oil change and running rough when I left. When I finally spoke to manager Shawn, I received the worst level of customer service I have received in a long time. The first thing he told me was there was no proof that they did this and there was nothing he could do for me. He did not ask me any questions or for any details, just straight to not his problem. I tried to explain what happened, as well as go over the current state of the car and he just argued against anything I brought up, excuses for everything, telling me there was no way they could have possibly done this, and being very combative, aggressive, and downright rude. I had to speak to him over the course of several days trying to sort things out, each time ended with him saying he had to talk to the owner and he would get back to me. Of course he never called me back and I would have to call him back every time. Once he actually told me he lost my number. He made it very clear that I was a nuisance to his day and at one point told me he has other things to do than deal with my problem. The solution he finally came up with was that I could move my car from the shop I had it at to a single location many miles away for their mechanic to examine the car and give their own opinion. This seemed quite shady to me (there should be more than one option for consumer protection) and I ended up getting it resolved elsewhere. At one point I asked him if he cared that a brand new customer was having such a terrible experience and he had no response. He made very clear that their business does not care about the customer or taking any accountability or action when thy screw up.Luckily I was able to get my car running somewhat smoothly.I would avoid this place at all costs.
I joined the monthly wash program and it is wonderful to always have a clean car. Professional operation and top notch attention to detail. Highly recommend to all my friends.
Made an appointment for an interior detail and when I showed up was told that they could not do the job. Very disappointing. Used there service before and was happy with it, just do not know what happened today.
I have been there a few times getting my oil changed. I have never had a problem with that. They are fast, courteous, and I am on my way in no time. The car wash part is problematic. I drive a car that they feel the need to put DUCT TAPE on my outside mirror housing to the PAINT of the car. The reason for this, I am told, is so that the soft cloth doesnt rip off my mirrors. I apparently have a make and model of a vehicle that has had this happen before. I have been though this very car wash dozens of times before they started this practice. I have had no issue but they still try to whip out the duct tape when they see me coming. I just wash my car at home now.Oil change is great. Car wash is bad.
Dont waste your money here. They change their plans charge you the same and dont tell you are receiving an inferior wash. Shady business practices. Will be spending my money somewhere else. The GM will not assist you with rectifying the situation.
It was so quick. With 2 small children running around that is everything to a mom!
I’m not sure how they can call themselves a car wash when after using the 18$ wash my car was filthy. Then when I let the “manager” (some young lady) know that I wasn’t happy with the results she asked to see my car. After looking at it she said “Well this isn’t dirt. It’s something in the paint.” While she rubbed it gingerly. I then spit on my finger and rubbed with a little force and what do you know? The “not dirt” was coming off. She then said “Well we’ll rewash it, but I don’t think it’s going to do anything.” Uh... ohkay... then what’s the point of having a car wash if it’s not going to actually clean the car? I’m VERY disappointed in this place.
The worst experience ever!! Terrible customer service.. They broke my mirror cap and they refuse to call me back n resolve the problem. I been up there 3 times! Also car mechanic told me they have a hard time getting them to pay them also! What a joke of a place!!!
The staff and All the stewards who work there are extremely pleasant and friendly!!
Ran my truck through this wash (basic wash at that not expecting the hot suds), but came out with a good amount of salt and dirt. Their dryers barely removed any water. I usually go to the wash u across 59 by meijers and it does a good job. Talked to a manager who said oh well. I ended my convo there and would not recommend this place. Take the we support our troops advertisement down you guys support nothing.
When I moved to Plainfield 6+ years ago, I thought Crossroads was a great place for a car wash. They did a nice job, good attention to detail and the staff was friendly. Ever since then, the service and friendliness has deteriorated more and more year over year. Ive had to ask for additional wipe downs upon inspection and no one seemed to care about my business. Meanwhile, dozens of other car washes are popping up all over. I think this morning was my last visit. The descriptions on their new automated pay machines are confusing, they didnt have enough staff to clean the inside of the car and the young man with the buzz cut at the entrance of the wash always has a scowl on his face and seems annoyed to even be there. The only reason I still went to Crossroads is because they clean the inside - that was their only competitive advantage. But Im happy to clean the inside myself before I return to Crossroads again. I wish they had kept up with the customer service and friendliness that others are offering in the area because I like to keep my money going to Plainfield businesses.
Fast service
Love this place.
I went in to get my car clean asked for a complete clean whip down vacuum shampooI wanted the whole package they recommended a $50 package I agreed to it they told me it would take 40 minsIt end up taking over 2 hours they didn’t whip nothing down the windows were still dirty and there was a spot not vacuum when I showed this to the manger and he started off by saying I didn’t ask for that service then changed his answer to the car was to dirty and didn’t get clean from that service and needed a deeper clean which is a lie the Gm Rich or rick didn’t help at all did not want to fix the problem I will never go back there again I wish I could up load pictures of the car after the wash to back up my statement becarfuly of spending your money at this rude car wash
Good service
Average car wash with no accountability. My interior window was damaged-I brought it back and showed the manager. He said hed review the cameras and follow up with me by next business day. 3 weeks later still no contact. With so many carwashes around youd think theyd value their customers a little more.Never going back.
Great customer service, great prices, and I’m always in and out.
Nice oil change and car wash. Usually pretty quick in and out.
These guys are awesome and the quality of the wash is the best in town. They have comparable prices and great results.
Prices has increased (which is the reason I canceled my membership) but I can honestly say you get what you pay for. I feel their service is better than some of the others in the area
Good place to go and have your car washed inside and out. Not too expensive
Poor service every time we come the don’t wipe down the cars properly still comes out filthy and on top of it all they always say the interior is off but there is plenty of lazy people standing around not doing a thing. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Very poor customer service!!! I have taken three cars here and have received nothing but rude and untimely service from the young ladies that work at Crossroads. I think that I was impressed by the quality of the car wash but consider taking your car to Vicks on i55 off boughton for the unlimited
Worst car wash place ever. I literally live down the street from this place and have 3 vehicles and still have to drive into naperville or South Plainfield to have my cars washed. They dont do hand washes yet they will wax your car. Makes no sense. They also act like they are doing you a favor when you try and do business with them.I quit going to them yrs ago and I wish they would get their act together so I do not have to drive so far to have my cars washed.
Great service all the way around!
Every time I walk into the waiting room they’ve got Fox News on the TV. Every damn time. The owner or manager must turn it on every morning. This was my go to place for the last 15 years. Don’t appreciate their BS propaganda or their disrespect for their customers.Done with them.
The Service center is great, but the Spa area is okay. The employees dont completely clean the car, i still found dust on my dash and a trash on my floor.
Overpriced oil changes. Also doesnt even do things right. They put my air filter back in wrong making it so my glove box wouldnt close right.Update: Changed to 1 star. I went here again because other places were closed on labor day. They tried to charge me a $10 upcharge for special oil. They are sleezy as hell and Ill never return. I just told them stop because Im not going to pay $45 for a oil change I can get anywhere else for half that price.
They do great work, the guys working there are always polite, they do full out details, and they also service your vehicle! One stop shop!
Best carwash around Plainfield
My… How things have changed. I have been going to crossroads auto spa for 13 years. I have four or five vehicles that I take there for oil changes, carwashes and detailing on a regular basis. I even have one of my vehicles on the monthly watch program. Up until a month ago, the product and customer service has always been excellent. And there are several car washes nearby and the only thing that kept me coming back (because the prices are just a bit higher) is the customer service.Well… That has now changed. on my recent oil change visit on September 28, things went as they usually do open till the time when a new employee (as I said… I’m there quite often and know most of the people) came to tell me that my car needed a new cabin air filter… this is not unusual because many times they give you Cursi reminders that maintenance items need to be taken care of. However, it was not what he was telling me it was how loudly he was telling me… He was literally almost yelling in a small room that was very quiet. Yelling for no reason, especially early in the morning, is never received well. I’m not sure why he was yelling… Perhaps he is hard of hearing or just doesn’t realize how loud he’s talking. Let’s call him “Mr. loud talker“ after he went back into the service bay, I asked the young lady working the desk (she’s been there a long time), “why is he yelling?“ She shrugged her shoulders and sort of rolled her eyes and said, “I have no idea…“ Her body language read that she too was extremely annoyed and I was not the only one who commented about this…Fast forward to yesterday… as I did not use my free wash that comes with an oil change when I visited there on the 28th, I returned yesterday to get my car washed and get the interior of my car cleaned. I pulled up to the automated kiosk, took my oil change receipt with everything that was stapled to it from my glove box, and proceeded to try to pay at the automated kiosk. Since the kiosk only excepts barcodes, I didn’t see a barcode on the paperwork that I had put in my glove box after my oriole change on September 28. I press the option to have an attendant come and help me when the first attend an approach my car and asked me what the matter was, I said that I don’t have a barcode from when I was here late in September. He said, “OK… Let me get a manager“This is where “Mr. loud talker” reemerged. I learned quickly that he was not just a service bay employee but, apparently, a manager…I explained to him that I was here getting my oil changed on September 28 and was trying to redeem my free wash that came with that oil change. He said, “you should have a barcode that’s attached to that paperwork”. I quickly agreed with him and said, “yes, I definitely should. However, I do not have one”. Rather than offering any amount of willingness to help me with my problem (remember… I’m a paying customer that has been coming to that facility for 13 years) he chose to argue with me and keep telling me “you should have a barcode with that paperwork“ again, I agreed that I definitely should have had a barcode but perhaps, since the automated kiosk system was new, the person at the desk forgot to attach the barcode. A more appropriate response from him would have been, “oh! Let me try to help solve your problem… May I take your paperwork inside and see if the barcode associated with your oil change has been used or perhaps we forgot to put it on there“.Instead of any amount of helpful exchange, he again chose to keep insisting that I was wrong and I may have lost the code or have already use the code… At this point, not wanting to argue any longer, I said I feel as though I should probably speak to the owner. At which point, to my complete dismay, he said “well… That will be a very short conversation“ i’m really not sure what he meant by that… But was certainly not helpful. At that point, I asked him to give me his name and he refused. That is when I backed my car out of the automated kiosk lane and left the facility vowing never to return.Absolutely shameful customer service
Extremely good customer service especially from kylemo197. Highly recommend the fast track for when you need to wash the rig after a good hooning sesh ya feel? Gang gang
I have been living in Plainfield for over 5 years and every couple of months I go in to get an oil change on both of my cars. Havent noticed any problems until my last time there. These guys do an air filter check to ensure that the air filter is clean aka trying to sell you an air filter. When I took my Acura in, the tech stripped and broke ALL 4 of my Acura air filter bolts. Its a $20 repair, so who cares, right. Well they never told me that they broke them. I just noticed this when I was under the hood today meaning my car could have gone to hell and beyond if my air filter cap moved even a little. If you have a high quality car, stay away as these techs dont know what they are doing.
Good value car wash.
Will never go back to this wash again, chip the paint on my new car in 2 places!!! Im so done with this place, My windows were always dirty with a lot of smudge on them worst than when I took it there. Water is always dripping and door jams are never cleaned! I still have 3 car washes left on a card I bought when I had my old car. I guess those will go to waste if I cant sell them!
The exterior wash is OK.. the interior wash is inconsistent. Depends on who you get vacuuming the inside I guess. They will not remove carseats when vacuuming back seat so make sure to remove before arriving or getting out of your car. Decent prices on a la carte selections..kids spilled something on the seat and was able to pay a decent price for spot treatment shampooing. Unlike other places charging for the entire interior shampoo when you may not need it.Agree with other reviewers. Counter girls dont give good customer service. I was there for a good 30 mins and observed bad customer service and alot of gossip among the 2.
Always the best place to go
Great job cleaning my car
Best car wash and oil change in town
