Great service every time out!!

Campfields is amazing. I have taken my vehicles there for about 3 years now. The last time was because my Honda Accord starter went bad. I called Dave late on a Thursday, and by Friday afternoon I had my car back, with a new starter installed. No kidding. Dont take your vehicles anywhere else. If you want quality and timely service at a competitive price, this is the place.

I have used Campfield for a number of years now for all of my familys repairs. Great people with fair prices. Ive always favored the smaller family owned shops and Campfield is exactly that. Highly reccomend to anyone

Its just him and his son Tyler and they always have lots of business so they may not be able to get you in that same day but theyll let you know that up front. Weve been customers of Daves for almost 15 years. Since our first son got his first car in 2001. Four kids later, we still see Dave when we need any repairs.He is honest and his prices are always fair. I recommend him all the time.

Always honest and trustworthy. Have taken many cars over the years. Makes you feel comfortable about dealing with things on a car that your not an expert on. Reminds me of a small town mechanic in how they do business.

Honest mechanic, great personality, and down to earth

We scheduled a time to take in our work van for a bid, and they waited 2 days to look at it. I already had a lower bid, but I didnt realize at the time that the other bid from Raymonds had additional work included that Campfields did not, so I gave them the green light to get started. A week or so later, they call and say they would need another $200 to $400 to finish because of something they didnt anticipate. They were far enough into the job that they couldnt go back, so they basically had our van hostage. Not really much you can do at that point unless you are willing to go to court over there matter. I priced some other services as well and found them to be a higher than some other places in the area. A little disappointing considering they were highly recommend by a couple of people I know.

The maintenance light was on in my 08 Camry, and I know nothing about cars, so I called Campfields to schedule an appointment to get it looked over. When I called, the man informed me that it just needed an oil change, which I was planning to do myself anyway. He offered free advice on when to change my oil and how to reset the maintenance light. Havent had to repair my car yet, but when I do, Ill call Campfields first.

Campfields is close and since Ive never had any luck with mechanics I checked reviews online and decided I would give them a try if I needed any work. Had been having trouble with my Jeep not wanting to start. I had battery tested last oil change and it was good so when the Jeep failed to start I had it towed to Campfields on a Monday. They were able to get to it in a timely fashion and gave me what I thought was a reasonable price to replace the starter. On Tuesday I got pulled over for speeding and to make matters worse after I got a ticket I found myself stranded on the side of the road because the Jeep wouldnt start. Luckily I carry a jumper box. Upon further inspection I discovered that the positive battery terminal was left so loose it could be removed by hand. This the day after somebody replaced my starter. Of course now I have to wonder if the starter really needed to be replaced at all. Sloppy work and lack of attention to detail means I wont go back to Campfields and Im here writing this review about it. So if you have them work on your vehicle I suggest you bring along your tool box!

Weve taken our cars to Campfields when its something my husband doesnt have time/know how to do. Dave is always prompt and honest and have never had any issues with the work hes done. Hes even snuck us in when I had to stop by to have him tighten a caliper on my suburban and had several kids with me. We drive up from Martinsville to Plainfield just to have him work on our cars--highly recommend Campfields!
