It is unfortunate that after visiting Raleys for over 30 years, their quality, and selection is faltering, and the management could not care less.. so sad. hopefully, someday, they can return to their former glory...

I havent been here in years! I dont know when they did it, but the remodel is beautiful!We came in late for snacks, to stay awake for the rest of the drive. I had no knowledge of the remodel they did. As soon as we walked in, I just said, Wow! This is nothing like I remember!They did a great job!It was late when we came in, despite that, the cashiers were still very friendly!To be honest, the only reason we decided to stop by, was because In-N-Out had 22 cars in line....However, it turned out to be a great experience!Glad we stopped!Thanks guys keep up the good work!

Raleys they have gone out of their way to make their place very very nice these stores Ive been going through a remodel and boy did they go over the top. I give them a five-star because its just feels good and safe from the store. Excellent place to shop prices a little spendy but why not clean looks great good product

Raleys has electric vehicle chargers and a nice sandwich shop. Perfect mid-trip stop between the East Bay and Tahoe.

Great selection of produce for hard to find or exotic items, very clean store.

I like the quality of Raleys produce, the quality of all their products is great. Its a bit too pricy for my budget. So I dont shop there regularly.

Raleys is an asset to the community. I met many great people here. They have been most helpful when I was down and out. Always kind and understanding.

Visiting on a camping trip, swung in to Raleys for some supplies. One thing you notice, how clean the store is, its amazingly clean. Deli, and bakery are stocked with tasty treats, produce section is nice too. Definitely a cut above Safeway

I and friends will never shop at Safeway again. The poison you put out in front of store for rats is dangerous to birds and farro cats and other animals. Disgusting.

We like to buy lunch there besides groceries.

I know it’s a grocery store. We purchased Chinese food at their deli/food court. The food was horrible. We had chow neon pork and chicken. Chow Mein had a burnt flavor and the meat was not good.

Thought it might save me $ to use a raleys card found out I had to call the 800 # for one. Whats up with that? Every other store gives you one on the spot to use. I guess Raleys wanted my address For some reason. No other store wanted my address. Only phone # maybe email . no other store wanted address but raleys

Very nice store. Produce department has an excellent variety of items. They stock both Angelo Pietro Salad Dressings and Yamasa soy sauce in the Asian section.

Friendly environment great service with the workers. Most store around town treat people like by threatening them and treating them like theves I get it theres a lot of shop lifting here but u can blame the drugged up bums there a byproduct of our ever increasing lack in maintaining hour public school parks and keeping the law unforcement not being like a dictator ran county witch it is sum what its. But with that saidits getting much better due to the towns leadership having Made significant changes in the behavior in like the das and PD and others but this is starting to become a much better environment now I seen first hand . Its still dangerous out here cuz thered a lot of people starving.. and have no potential opportunities for housing bye to the lack of work and property for sale or rent and if they are there way to expensive or have outrageous guide line or rule for you to obay. Great clean store. I usually go for the Peet’s coffee, which is consistently great. The woman who works the coffee bar in the morning knows what she is doing. Quality every time!

The selection was good, but of course because of Covid shopping, there were some things they did not have today ☹️ But they did as appear to be taking Covid for real, by keeping the carts cleaned and a guy walking around cleaning handles and surfaces. Most shoppers were respecting the mask policy.

Raleys isa great place to shop. Besides having a great selection, they have put in place safety measures for protection against Covid.

Its been a while since I have been to this Raleys. Seemed more like a dead zone than a grocery store. I used to really like this grocery store. Maybe it was the time of day I was there.

Excellent service at a fair price

They have the Covid-19 protocol in place. Best out of all the markets. The customer service is awesome and its not long lines for to long.

The first Raleys ever built! I Can remember coming here as a kid, some 50 years ago, was a department and grocery store at that time, still is a great store! Come and see for yourself! I recommend it!

The real mccoy right here!!! Was store number 1.... Probably still is store number one 😃 Wish they would hold on to the way they used to be with a bit more furocity. Lots of disappointed gossip via bus passes, M.O.R.E. shopping trips being more difficult, and trying to keep up with the Digital Age when business boomed by the community needs being most important, low income to high end shoppers....

Now I have been into countless raleys before and this raleys will be one I wont forget. For some reason the store feels bigger then others and the aisles are spaced apart for a comfortable passing between customers. Everything was very accessible and clean. Staff was particularly nice during the time I went and it provided a very comfortable environment. Only 1 thing I would recommend is a remodel on the bathrooms. They are a little run down and the toilets are old school, but that is just knit picking at this point.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this raleys was well-stocked with alternative dietary foods such as gluten-free and organic options. Unfortunately most of the employees were not wearing masks inside and though they had a sign out front that says you had to wear masks to go in, they were chatting with and inviting in people they knew who wouldnt wear masks. That was a bit disconcerting and we didnt really feel safe with whats going on in the climate right now with Covid.

Raleys, great service, excellent produce and meats, broad inventory. This store is store #1 which traces its existence back to the first Raleys in downtown Placerville back in the 1930s.

This Raleys is a moderate sized store, with a good chance they have what youre looking for, unless its an obscure ingredient. The major complaint of this recently remodeled store is the horrible layout that was chosen to use; a major example - dairy ingredients are scattered throughout the store. If they rearranged the store to place related things together, theyd have much happier customers.

Raleys in Placerville has gone downhill. To go food is blah, pretty flavorless. Limited selection of fruits and vegetables. Top it off with seriously declining customer service. I rarely go anymore.

Bought steaks for 4th of July BBQ for my daughters family. Outrageous price...but holy COW...it was sooo good. Usually get the cheap stuff at WinCo but theres no comparison. Was such a treat.

I love this Raleys. The people are always friendly, its always clean, and they always have what we need in stock. I love that many of them know who I am.

Wow! The remodel they did on this store is amazing! This is an incredible store! Its well laid out and organized, looks very up scale, things are displayed in a very visually appealing way. Not only that, but the products look like quality. The deli/bakery looks and smells wonderful. They have lots of ready to eat food there that are made in store. They all looked delicious. I almost skipped my groceries for dinner and just got some food that they had prepared there. I was so impressed upon visiting this store the other day that I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. 5 stars without a doubt. 👍👍Cant wait to make This my new regular grocery stop.
