II called on short notice to have my alternator repaired. The shop was booked but they said they would work me in the next day if I dropped off that night. Called me about 2pm that day and repair was complete. This shop really knows Ford trucks for sure. Great service. Wish they were in Arizona where I live.

If you own a Ford and live in the foothills this is the place to go. Russ will not be the cheapest shop but the work will be done correctly and on time, for the price quoted. Katie runs the front office and is very knowledgeable. Not just fluff answering the phone. The rest of the staff have gone out of here way to be helpful.

Best mechanic and service Ive ever experienced. Russ is very knowledgeable especially with the diesel trucks. I have read a couple of negative comments and want to say I was a masonry contractor for 35 plus years and its impossible to please everyone. Russ at Fords Only is the ONLY person we trust with our cars! Our entire family drives Fords (5 vehicles). He always does a top-notch job and is very accommodating. Recently, he went above and beyond for me. The day my family was supposed to leave on a vacation my radiator sprung a massive leak. We were waiting at the shop before he even opened and when he got there he took one look at the truck and listened to our timing problem with vacation and said no problem. He dropped everything he was doing to fix this for us as soon as possible and less than 3 hours later we were on our way to our vacation destination! We could NOT have done this without his help! We are truly grateful for the service Russ and his crew provide. If you have any issues with your Ford vehicles DEFINITELY take them to Fords Only!

If you have a Ford car or truck this is the place in El Dorado and Sacramento County to bring your vehicle. They put a new fuel pump in our truck and it could have been a variety of things wrong. They fixed it beautifully after diagnosing the actual problem. We are lucky to have Fords Only close to home!

Wanted to fight me in the parking lot over a 17 dollar discrepancy.

Called and was put on hold for 17 minutes until they actually picked up and hung up. Called again and was told I would get a call back from their tech. Never received a call back. If you cant trust their word over the phone how can you trust their work.

Fords Only is hands down the best mechanics shop I’ve taken a vehicle to. Russ is great! They were very reasonable and made sure I knew what was going on throughout the process each time I’ve taken a vehicle there. I would recommend them to any Ford owner.

Russ, the owner of Fords only will scam you every chance he gets. Very unprofessional and will give you every excuse under the rug. I would not recommend his shop to anyone. Dont know how he is even still business.

My Fusion sounded like the front end was coming apart whenever I went over even small bumps and I spent a lot of money elsewhere with no improvement.At Fords Only, Russ worked carefully through the problem step by step, explaining what he was doing as he went along. I’m sure it was difficult and frustrating for him but the noise is gone now and considering all the work he put in, gone at a very reasonable price.Over the years I’ve been to many different mechanics in Placerville and mostly happy with all of them, but Fords Only is just way better.
