I never thought I would be so impressed by a dump. The service here is just great. They’re efficient, organized, friendly, and the prices in my experience are very fair. My dad and I have probably brought this place up in conversation more often than anyone would care to hear. I think he bought a dump trailer just so he could haul more stuff here.

Ordered 2 yards of brown mulch in MB hog bag. The bag was easy to unload and was perfect to touch up landscaping around the house. Mulch had great color and no debris or plastic. Service was friendly and professional. Highly Recommend.

Quick service and friendly staff.I ordered a dumpster for a landscaping project, and I paid the same as a junk removal company was asking for 1/20th of the job. The staff also answered questions over multiple phone calls and was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them again.

We have rented dumpsters three times from Michaels. We would not use anyone else. Drivers are professional and polite. Deliveries and pickups were on time. No reason to try anyone else.

I stopped here to drop something off. Very busy well organized scrap yard. I grew up in scrap this place was humming with activity. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. Too bad I live 300 miles from them they would be my scrap yard of choices.

Outstanding! Extremely fast service (same day in some cases) with reasonable, fair pricing and theyre all digital, so its super easy. Friendly folks too.

Our company was spending $1500-2000 month using them for hauling. On top of the payments we were paying each time we used them, we noticed they were taking thousands of dollars per month out of my bank account. They have a controlled chaos system where they charge twice for the same service. This way they make out with an extra $500 instead of the $2050 they charged extra. They told us we have to pay before they send the dumpsters. But their billing department charges our bank account an additional charge the first Saturday of each month to make it look legal to our banks security. Good thing I keep a close eye on my banks finances. Like I mentioned, their policy for Live Load Dumpster Hauling is they demand payment upfront, this company was paid upfront for services, there was no reason for them to continue to withdrawal money, credit money, etc. They were paid before the trucks showed up. They went to the homeowners house trying to strong arm money from the homeowner, threatening to sue the homeowner. This company is crooked, they are unprofessional, and they use controlled chaos to rip people off. Each employee has a different story and different price for services. Seems as if someone within the company is stealing funds and changing the books. Pay cash and dont give them your debit or credit card numbers is my recommendation. Everything they stated below is a LIE. None of that occurred. They have us mixed up with another company or they are just lying. We never asked them for their help to begin another job. They owed us $475 from the first $1000 they took out of our account and we only owed them $500 and some change. We proceeded to pay them as usual for each dumpster UPFRONT. We never paid them after the jobs were done. We always had the funds to cover our expenses. They are plainly lying.

They were very reasonably priced and both people I spoke with were very polite and helpful. Had my dumpster dropped of promptly and placed it exactly where we needed it in a very tight alley in shadyside and when I called to have it picked up they put a rush on it and had it removed in less than an hour. Stellar service in my opinion. This is the 2nd time Ive used their services and will continue my patronage with this company.

Recently had a massive home cleanout project and rented two large dumpsters fromMichael Brothers. Could not be happier with the service from start to finish. Super friendly staff, lightning fast delivery and pickup. My driveway is slanted - most other companies I researched were not willing to place in the driveway for that reason. MB had zero issues getting a 30 yarder in and out. They are also the only hauling company I could find willing to take tires. Thank you so much for making a headache of a job so much easier on us. Will recommend to everyone.

Dont go within an hour of closing especially on Saturday unless you are willing to be pushed & accept unfair pricing. Im an electrical contractor and had a large load truck and trailer of steel and aluminum wire. (Over 4 ton). I was on the scale at 12:15. We were told over the phone that we needed to be on the scale by 12:30, as they close at 1:00. We unloaded all the steel from the trailer and truck. While we were unloading the aluminum wire inside, the scale operator kept counting down the time. I got upset at this point when the employees were more interested in the time instead of getting containers or handling my scrap. There were at least 8 employees standing around not doing anything to help with the unloading. After a painful unloading process, we were finally checked out at 1:06. The most unfair part of the process was after all that, the scale operator entered dirty tin for the steel we brought in. I suspect this was their way of punishing me for losing my temper. All the steel was clean. a lot of it was steel plates, solid steel bars, very large electrical boxes, and very few tin light fixtures stripped clean. (Look at it logically. How did we have over 5000 lbs of dirty tin inside a 10 x 6 trailer. It was clean steel and very little tin). I WAS A REPEAT CUSTOMER.

Very friendly workers. Convenient drive up service. They took a 55 gallon bag of cardboard for free! I would recommend and will use them in my future recycling endeavors.

I just used Michael brothers for the first time recently and they treated me like we had done business for years. The boxes were delivered and picked up quickly. Their prices are good and service was great. I will recommend and definitely use again.

Seriously, no matter what house project you currently have in process, itll create some type of waste...Michael Brothers is there for the rescue! We called them about needing a dumpster for a backyard/deck reno and they were reasonably priced, super friendly and responsive (which is hard to come by now-a-days). We didnt end up having enough dump to warrant a dumpster so they said to bring it all down and well take care of it (at a reasonable price)! I cant say enough good things about our experience with them 😊

Every time I get stuck behind one of these trucks my car always gets blown out with exhaust fumes and causes my throat to burn. I respect and appreciate local businesses doing well but I also dont like inhaling clouds of exhaust. I cant think of any other company around here where every truck I see stinks up the air that badly. Not sure how they get through emission inspections

I have used Micheal Brothers in two remodels I have done. They are easy to deal with, relatively fast pickup. I have used their Hogges bags extensively and the bag and the pickup is great. I have also used their full dumpsters and generally they get swapped out on the same day. I thought i was going to get an overcharge for tonnage on one of them because we put a LOT of the plaster/drywall that is soooo heavy. They said it was a little over but not a problem. Never had any problems getting pickups or drop off. Cant ask for better. oh the prices are competitive. I have no affiliation with MB except as a satisfied customer.

They are the best and know how to treat customers. I have gone to their place to recycle and dump and they are always helpful and courteous. I have had dumpsters delivered and they are again helpful and courteous. Its the way to run a business!!

Dumpster service is speedy (used 6 times), however they always fail to properly communicate prior to coming out or picking up. Their prices are at least $100 more for each size dumpster than ABC EZ dumpsters. For example ABCs 30 yard is $500 tax and all included, these guys are $590, and they take four days instead of one to pick up.

They start loading their trucks earlier and earlier every day. Today they started a little after 6am. I can hear them inside my daughters room with the white noise on. There has to be rules against this.Update:3/25/19. Banging metal around and running machines at 6:00am.I also want to add a rebuttal to your response. The railroad and “other companies” don’t cause issue. You are the only one who starts smashing metal and running machines at 530am.

Rip off tell you one price on the phone to get you in the door and different price once your there same day! Got more money for the same scrap at more then one other scrap yard save yourself the trip!

We used this company for a clean -out of my parents home in order to prepare it for sale. The office staff were EXTREMELY helpful, professional and knowledgeable, and it was dropped off and picked up when they said they would. I would definitely recommend!

I’m a small rolloff company that uses this facility on a daily basis and the transfer station and employees are first class. Easy in and out and don’t have to worry about flat tires.

There drivers will harass you. Ive had a friend almost wreck in the liberty tunnels because the driver switched lanes (illegal btw) we also had a driver speeding and almost slammed into the back of my van, with my children inside. They may be a great company but be careful on the road! They will not hesitate to cause harm to other drivers, or put you, youre family and themselves in harms way.

I hired this company knowing they had a tonage limit for the size box I used which was 5 ton (10,000lbs) the roof had 48sq of 3- tab shingles which works out to 8640 pounds. They charged me an extra $81 because they said there was 12,500 lbs in it. Mathematically impossible. Lesson learned, never use a company that charges overages.

I was charged for over 4 ton on a 97 e350 16 foot box truck how is that even right I cant get 4 ton on my 26 ft box truck I gat Rob right in front on my face I will never use them and to boot iIwent to abcez dump in the rocks with a load of wood the next day paid 60 and what I took the thies place was all bags all bags not even a full 16 ft box truck so STAY AWAY IF U LIKE UR MONEY GO IF UR RICH AND DONT GIVE A DAM

I have had a working relationship with Michael Brothers for almost 13 years and I can say that they are a joy to work with for any of my hauling and recycling needs. I have dropped off recyclable materials to their yard in Bethel Park and have used their dumpsters on my jobsites for roofing jobs 40-50 times a year. The communication and systems they have internally are great. There have been times when I am the one that needs a last minute dumpster and they have always tried to accommodate my needs as best they can.
