Kumon Fox Chapel offers an excellent way to help your child succeed in reading, math, and overall self-help and study skills. The instructor is dedicated to offering the support and individualized learning that each student needs to succeed. She is patient but resolute in helping each child see how important these skills are to succeed in life. I have seen many students grow not only in cognitive ability, but in confidence level and overall love of learning from participating in the program. Kumon Fox Chapel not only supports families of children who are looking for advancement past the grade level they are attending at school, but also helps children who are possibly behind in school or have special needs that require extra attention and support. I highly recommend this program to anyone wishing to help their child succeed in school and in life.

It just feels like waste the money. They only give worksheets and the parents are the one that need to involve in teaching for daily basis. And we, as parents, already have enough in plate for teaching our child.

We love Kumon Fox Chapel! Our kids are improving a lot at the school, since we signed them up for Kumon, both Reading and Math Program, two years ago. The director and the instructors are really prepared and helpful and they keep tracking of our kids progress, helping them to learn more and more. We really recommend Kumon Fox Chapel!

Kumon Fox chapel is one of the excellent programs for kids and I would highly recommend it. Mrs. Neelam is one of the highly motivated and dedicated teacher and my daughter enjoys Kumon. She joined Kumon a year ago, along with her enthusiasm and with their great support and wonderful teaching she was able to finish Level J by six. I often hear from her that Kumon math helps her lot in school work and we believe Kumon practice helped her to excel in school.

Excellent program and staff. Quite frankly, I wished we would have started our children earlier in Kumon. The program teaches skills for math and comprehension but more importantly provides a nurturing environment where kids can learn responsibility, building their confidence in education and some independent structure. Mrs. Mitra is an amazing educator, listener and we are very fortunate to have her and the program in the lives of our kids. We cant say enough positive things about this Kumon center.

Kumon Fox Chapel offers a highly effective, supplemental learning program that provides individualized learning opportunities for students in both math and reading. I have seen this program in action and as a certified teacher, highly recommend it. The instructors did not teach at all and they kept giving the same worksheet over and over. So, I decided to just buy the kumon workbooks from Amazon and gave it to my daughter and it worked out. She is able to count and read two years level above than her friends.The books only cost $6-$8 for each reading and math. Its so much cheaper than you have to pay $230 every month and your child did not improve anything

The instructor is very dedicated to the success of the students and constantly strives to reach everyones maximum potential.Any student willing to put in the time and effort seems almost certain to excel through this program. This center does an excellent job.

Having both my sons attending Kumon of Fox Chapel was one of the best decisions I made, regarding their educaiton and future. It is a great place to teach your child how to independently work, gradually learn and seal her knowledge. Mrs. Mitra, the director of the center, has a great way with children. She is kind, patient and caring, but at the same time, she knows how to get them to listen and to pay attention. She has a great insight into childrens personalities and their coursework is adjusted accordingly, so it is just the right pace and material for each child. I would recommend it to any parent who wants his children to succeed not only in school, but in college and beyond!

Teachers are professional, kind, and patient. Our kids were young (6y was the older) when we tried this program for almost a full year; we did not benefit much as it seems to rely more on rote memorization of patterns. In the end, our older child was able to identify numbers but did not understand the concept of place value and thus more complicated processes started to become very frustrating. Other kids may find it more beneficial and I know few parents who seemed quite satisfied. I dont regret trying it out.

My son has learning difficulties and the staff at Kumon have been very patient and understanding with him. His performance at school has improved academically, and he has become more independent with his school work. I would recommend this center to anyone.

Our son has attended Kumon Fox Chapel for almost four years, having first registered when he was three. Mrs. Mitra has been personally involved with our sons development, and is passionate about helping him achieve his very best. The method of instruction, through worksheets and correction by the center instructors (or by parents for homework), allows him to advance at his own pace, as he masters the material. What an advantage it has been for our son to have covered math and reading beyond his grade level through Kumon. We are very complimentary about the Kumon program, and Mrs. Mitra and the Fox Chapel Kumon Center, and would recommend Kumon Fox Chapel to anyone as a way to help their child master math and reading skills.

All three of my children have participated in this Kumon program under the guidance of Mrs. Neelam Mitra and her staff for over 5 years. We have always found Mrs. Mitra and the staff to be extremely helpful. She has the perfect way of being firm yet gentle with our children. They have excelled and Math and in English because of their participation in this academically nurturing program. We have nothing but praise for her and this Kumon center.

Ms. Mitra has been a tremendous asset for my daughter. We have been coming here since elementary. Ms. Mitra and the center has pushed her to the max of her capabilities. My daughter is now in high school, and Ms. Mitra is helping us through the college prep process.My son started Kumon from the first available levels with Ms. Mitra. Both my kids are very different in learning and abilities, and Ms. Mitra has been great in customizing both their programs. My son is still in elementary.

I can not say enough good things about This kumon center !I have four kids and all of them are doing kumon for more 7 years all my kids are doing excellent at school with very solid foundation and they are very independent in doing their homework we don’t struggle with homework because of kumon early study routines.The director and the instructor at this location are kind professional and do everything possible to help your child,my kids love them.The more years you stick to the program the more you see the excellent results.I highly recommend it to my friend.Thanks a lot to to this kumon center !!
