Amazing. Brought in my Wurlitzer Sideman from 1959 (first drum machine). This thing had so much noise and hiss from old age. Somehow, they got this thing sounding brand new in just 24 hours. So happy. Hard to find this level of expertise and knowledge with repair shops. Will 100% rely on Phil’s for again vintage repair needs.

Made the trip up from Morgantown, WV to see Donnie about some vintage stereo repair. Service was amazingly fast and his diagnostic skills would make a neurosurgeon blush.

After my radio sat down at Jacks Discount Video in Millvale for nine months. Phils fixed it in a week. They did a great job. Highly recommend them. Looking around their shop, it looks like they really know what they are doing. The sort of people, you would have a thousand questions of how things work, they would have the answers! Sorry, Jacks.

Great guy behind the counter (maybe Phil?)...he looked at my vintage 1977 Professional Series Technics Pre Amp...I thought it wasnt working correctly but he hooked it up and checked it out and gave me some friendly advice...took it home and with his knowledge and my listening skills it works good now. I also dropped off a portable am/fm radio that he will look at and Im sure that this fix it shop will fix it and with a fair price.

Always expert service at an affordable price. The only place I trust having my vacuum tube audio repaired or refurbished.

Don is an absolute gem. I walked into his shop at 11:45 AM with my ailing 52 year old Fisher tube-type amplifier in tow. In less than an hour he had diagnosed the problem, found the cause of it and fixed it. All the while he was furthering my education on the fine points of tube audio amplifier engineering!My hat is off to this great expert in vintage audio gear. I only regret that I cant give him 10 stars. Thanks again Don!
